Working on the Implications of a Monad's Many Vehicles - (2640)

Scary

This can be a scary theme actually. Because we can feel that it is us as a vehicle that is not going to get realised, and that the other vehicle will arrive at it instead. We can feel the fear of annihilation which is very scary.

We may even feel like a little abandoned, not being the one and only vehicle. We may even think we are in darkness becasue the Being is helping the other physical vehicle, then again what do we really know, it is just the silly human jealousy and self-love that we have projecting itself onto our inner Being. Our inner Being is justice and is above having a favourite vehicle, like a teacher's pet type of thing. That is human psychology and the Being is spirit.

I want to tell you though do not accept these type of feelings without first rigorously questioning the thoughts that generate these feelings.

Investigate

Let's for a minute investigate this...

This is of course our mind thinking about something it does not really know about. What does our mind know about our Monad really? I ask my mind, well tell me why both or all three vehicles can't all arrive at self-realisation? What makes our mind think that it is only ever one vehicle that has to win the self-realisation?

Then it is not us that gets self-realised. It is the Being that realises itself. Then if our Being realises Itself and we are connected to the Being, aren't we then self-realised as well?

Won't our essence then join with the self-realised Being.

If we are a vehicle in the work then it is obvious it is going to be us that is going to help our Monad realise Itself. Ok say a Monad has three vehicles and they are all in the work, isn't it obvious that all three are set to help the Being realise itself.

Why do we have the idea of some kind of race or what serves the best is used and what does not serve is discarded? That is the animal way of thinking of life in the jungle - the survival of the fittest. The Being is not in a jungle and is not an animal.

Some Implications

It seems reasonable that a Monad may have more than one physical vehicle. A human being can have several children, two jobs, two cars, several bank accounts, several email accounts, several houses, etc.

If a Monad has more than one vehicle it would be, we surmise, so that the Monad can derive something useful from it.

We surmise that through more than one vehicle the Monad could accelerate  Its learning and also expand its learning. Because as each vehicle is different, each vehicle would be exposed to different circumstances and conditions and thus its learning would be different.

Because we are the vehicle working on itself so to enter and walk the path it is us that is going to help the Monad to realize Itself.

Karma of the Vehicles

Obviously the vehicles if they are asleep will be accruing some kind of karma. The vehicle that dissolves all of its egos will not have karma but the other vehicle may have karma. So then the Being must have to control the other vehicle to not accrue any more karma.

The vehicle who dissolves the ego, is free totally to move within the Being, the vehicle who still has karma can not move freely within the Being yet. So then it can be that the good of one vehicle gives the inner Monad merit to minimise or manage the karma accrued from the other vehicles.

One Essence Divided Among the Vehicles or Perhaps Not

We assume that this teaching says that the Monad has one essence and it is divided among the different vehicles.

Perhaps it is the one and same soul with several dettachments as essence.

One Thing is Clear - is Final Unification

For the Being to achieve its total unity, it must join all of its parts, including any vehicles into one. If one vehicle has gone to the abyss how can It unite all of its parts? Impossible, so the Being will not let any vehicle that it has to go to the abyss.

The Sense to Fight - (2639)

A Real Existing Sense

There is the psychological sense to fight within us, and this sense is something very necessary in all the three spheres of life: physical, psychological and esoteric.

There are some people who have this sense very well developed and fight over everything and there are others who have this sense very underdeveloped and never fight. In any case the best is the middle, where the consciousness governs, either extreme always brings trouble.

This sense has a legitimate presence within us, because apart from being so necessary, it is an expression of the energy and force that we all have within us.

What is karmically and esoterically decisive, is how this sense is put to use.

This sense is very powerful and engages the energies and force we have available in all three realities.
It engages our will from our spiritual sphere, it engages our mind, emotion and focus from our psychological sphere and it engages the centres and energies of our physical body from our physical sphere.

Negative Use -  That Which Goes Against Us

When we are insulted or are reprimanded for example, we can start to fight against ourselves by expressing emotions such as: "I am useless", "I am a looser", "I can't", "yes, yes, I know I am really stupid"  etc.

In this case the sense to fight goes totally against ourselves, which of course buries us further into pain and suffering.

Tricky Physical Use - Correctness Goes Against Others

There is another use which fights against others. Rejecting the opinions of other, defending ourselves and attacking others - often humiliating them.

There are times when we actually do have to fight, that is when justice is challenged and it is honest and right to do something. Sometimes to not fight is a mistake, and sometimes it is a mistake if our fight was conducted unfairly and through disrespectful or violent means.

Correct Use - Used to Transform Ourselves (Mystical Death)

The correct use is to get up and fight to transform ourselves, so to achieve a certain positive result. When we are criticised or belittled for example, it is this sense to fight that must kick in, and make us work on ourselves and achieve comprehension and correct and defect in us that may have caused the criticism.

Sacred Sites Conclusion - (2638)

With will and imagination combined in meditation we can travel to the natural sacred sites within our microcosmos, that within ourselves - our chakras, our heart, our essence etc.

Obviously these sacred sites being sacred offer us a fount of spiritual energy and a channel through which to connect in a deeper way with the Divine, the sacred energies swirling and dwelling within us.

End (2638).

Sacred Sites – (2637)

Many are They

There are really many sacred sites on the planet Earth. Most are related to religions and indigenous peoples. There are even instances where the one site may be sacred to a number of religions but not to all religions. Such an example is the temple mount in the old city of Jerusalem. Where the mount is sacred to Judaism, Islam and also Christianity.

Those sites that stand unrelated to any religion, but are sacred to indigenous people more often than not, are those that are felt by every visitor to be special, regardless of religion, race or culture. In these cases, it is the sacredness of Mother Nature that impresses the spirituality (essence) of every human being who visits.

Whereas perhaps in the religions sacred sites it is the structure of beliefs held in a person that are deeply impressed, more so than the natural essence of the person. But it can also be that both, one’s belief structure and one’s essence can be impressed visiting a sacred site.

There are such sacred sites in the far north of Australia, even Ayers Rock in central Australia as well in North America: the Grand canyon, Sedona etc. that imprint directly the sense of the sacred, the Divine, on the essence of the visitor.

The "Pinnacles" in Western Australia. Two hours drive north of Perth.

Different to a Temple

A sacred site is one that stands out from the many areas of Earth as one which leans to the Divine, to the sacred and is one that emanates a kind of power…

A sacred site is one that is not a temple, it is one that has not been constructed by human hands to be assigned as sacred, but rather is a natural feature or a specific location.

Religion

When it comes to a religion, a sacred site is usually where an event, central to the founding principles of the religion took place.

For example, Bethlehem – (birthplace of Jesus) and Calvary (Golgotha) where the passion of Jesus unfolded are regarded as sacred sites to Christianity. The temple mount in the old city of Jerusalem for Juadiasm and the Islam.

Nature

When it comes to nature and indigenous peoples, a sacred site is sacred because it is the place, or a feature, where certain spiritual energies descend or meet.

Perhaps there is a door to the internal worlds there, perhaps a focussing point of some of the Earth’s important magnetic fields and electrical currents, perhaps a mountain - where every mountain is an antenna to receive cosmic energies, perhaps a chakra of the planet…

It is good to note that even the planet as a living organism must have its chakras, which are magnetic centres where vital energies converge and radiate.

Sometimes a sacred site of nature, religion and indigenous mythology coincide, such as in the case of the source of a river (the Ganges and the Jordan rivers), a mountain, an island, a mount, etc. And also as what Fulcanelli alluded to in relation to with the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, where the site upon which the medieval cathedral was built is significant, as many magnetic currents moving through travelling through underground channels imparts a special energy to the site of the cathedral.

A Location Mapped Out

Why is that location sacred? Why has that location been selected to be sacred and not the area 200m north or south of it?

We can only say that it is because as a site is mapped out by thress lines of Euclidean geometery, it is because several (at least three) lines of force convergence at this spot, thus mapping out the site. Every site has a specific point in space, and force descends we are told descends in lines.

Importance

Over such sacred sites many wars have been fought, and much blood has been spilled. Many men have given their lives to preserve these sites as sacred – thus showing the high importance these sites have in the mind and heart of people.

Interior Sacred Sites

“As above so below” once again applies directly here. We too within our body and psyche are sacred sites. Our chakras, our heart are all natural sacred sites. Within our psyche there are several sacred values and within our mind there are many sacred concepts.

The chakras remain sacred as long as our body prevails, the sacred values prevail beyond the mind and body and the sacred concepts within the mind can change…

Up Next…

Coming up in the next posts will be some posts about the temples and the heart temple within the human being.

End (2637).

Sacred Sites and Temples Post Series – (2636)

Introduction

The next few posts will relate to the theme of sacred sites and temples.

Cosmic Life

At a glance, this topic appears to be one that touches upon an aspect of cosmic life.

It appears that each religion at least on the planet Earth has at least one sacred site. It also appears that each religion also has its sacred buildings (temples).

Gnosis teaches us that we too have a sacred building – our very own heart temple.

The axiom: “as above, so below” rings true in relation to “sacred sites and temples”.

As there are sacred sites and temples on the face of the Earth (macrocosmos) there are also sacred sites and temples in the microcosmos (man).

The Many Vehicles of the Monad – (2635)

The Teaching

A Monad can have two or more physical vehicles. The most common version of this teaching is that a Monad can have up to 7 physical vehicles.

Excerpt

I will find it and add it in here as soon as I can. If my memory serves me correctly I believe there is a mention of this teaching in “Perfect Matrimony” by V.M Samael Aun Weor.

Examples or Anecdotes

As a very concrete case, as related by m.m.m, there was a man in Gnosis who lived in Mexico, and whom Master Samael knew had his essence shared among himself and another man: the Gnostic man and another man.

The Gnostic man in Mexico was a lawyer by profession and the other man whom he shared his essence with was a farmer in Colombia. An attempt was made for the lawyer to attain the essence that the farmer had, however, it happened that the Gnostic man later died, and the essence in the Gnostic man went to the farmer in Colombia.

It is has also been said that Samael the Monad, the Logos, the regent of Mars had more than one physical vehicle.

A Reflection

Reflecting on this teaching and on the anecdotes that exemplify this teaching, one may feel a little scared. One’s sense of importance to one’s inner Being seems to suffer…

There being more than one vehicle of our Monad means that we are not as important as if there was one only one vehicle.

The fact is that our Monad has moved at least one vehicle (us) into a school of mysteries, makes us as a vehicle relatively important. This does not rule out that a Monad may have other vehicles also in other mystery schools.

A shift can occur in us where we perhaps thought that our Being is there to support us. It seems now that what is truer, is that it is us that must work very hard to make the investment that our inner Monad has in us, to bear fruit. Because with there being other vehicles, our Being can easily turn Its attention to any other vehicle as a hope of fulfilling its will of self-realisation.

Conclusion

Our Monad is the important one, It is the one that has set things up so that Its vehicles have the right conditions and knowledge necessary that at least one of Its vehicles will bear fruit in self-realisation.

The Monad is the strength and the intelligence that is above and beyond our life organising its will and consequently moving our life in accordance with Its plans.

Our role is work and co-operation with our inner Being.

Rebellion and disobedience it seems leads to being cut loose from our inner Being. Having been cut loose, we can no longer be moved by the inner Being. Ego and personality take over, causing the vehicle to eventually trip over and fall into the abyss…

Right Choice: "If I Want to Feel Good I Pray" - (2634)

In a documentary I was watching once about the Amish cultiure, a teenage girl was explaining why teenagers go out on the town, drink, go to bars and clubs and behave in the wreckless way that they do. The teenage girl said that they basically do that sort of thing to ‘feel good’, to ‘feel happy’, ‘to enjoy life’.

Then an Amish teenage girl said if I want to feel good and happy I pray!

How marvelous is that! Here we have the search for the same value. One seeking it through the outside means of ‘life’ using the wreckless, the dangerous, drink others etc. and another seeking it through the Being, through God.

Always the one value can be sought in two ways - duality at work in creation.

Awakening we are taught is to be able to chose.

There is always a choice, between the internal - the inner Being and its self-edifying, self-dignifying and renewing means and the outside – ‘life’ with its consuming, exhausting means.

End (2634).

The Attitude to Love Leads More to Love than the 'Know How' of Love – (2633)

Love is in giving, less in receiving. Receiving is a product of first having given. The completion, the joy, the rest, the peace is all in giving.

The joy of love resides in the choice to help others.

Authentic love is not dependent on receiving, circumstances, events etc. Love always starts in the small details, that is in small actions. To smile at a stranger even though it is so brief, is an act of love.

There is love in movement in the teacher who is tired after having spent the whole day working to make the money necessary to survive, and stands up in front of a group of people to impart to them the knowledge and keys that will benefit their human and spiritual lives.

We shouldn't dream of giving our life or accomplishing great acts of love if we can’t accomplish small acts of love for the same person, such as being patient, not getting annoyed, washing the dishes, etc.

No real act of love is worthless, every act of love enhances our essence and brings us joy. In that joy  from the act of giving is where there is refuge. Even if what we give another is put straight into the bin...

Nothing is ever wasted, what is given, somehow by the law of reciprocity comes back to us.

End (2633).

Is Love a Feeling or an Action? – (2632)

A Feeling You Say! – Ah Come On! – Think Again! More Like an Action Mate!

If someone just feels love and never does anything about it then what a waste.

An action is the result of thinking and feeling. An action is more complete.

We love our Being and others through actions!
There are so many feelings of love: “I love chocolate”, “I love yellow”, “I love my mum”, “I love palaeoanthropology” and “I love you”.

All very complicated as to which feeling is really love. Is “I love chocolate” really love, that is the same love as the love for a spouse or a friend? But there is nothing clearer than action.

End (2632).

Five Languages of Love – (2631)

Introduction

I was listening to an audio book while driving to Gnosis from work and these so called five languages of love sounded through my car speakers. Even though it is not a Gnostic teaching, I find it quite practical and in my experience quite valid.

So, these five languages are the languages through which we express love to others. In other words, love speaks through these five languages. In many of us, our love may already be speaking through these languages, but perhaps not all five, maybe one or two only.

To know about these languages and to use them consciously I find certainly enhances our expression and giving of love to another person, people or our own Being.

The Five Languages

Quality Time

Means to give our time, our interest and attention to a person, or even our own Being.

Affirmation

To affirm our love, to appreciate, to honour and this is essentially done with words and body language, as the language of the body speaks many words.

Touch

Fairly obvious but only really for people close to us. In terms of our Being it may be to put heart into the equation.

Service

Implies to do things for the person or for our Being. That would be to help the person, clean, tidy up, cook, make life easier, pay bills, even work physically for the person. When it comes to our Being, we can serve humanity, transmute, work psychologically etc. for our beloved inner Being.

Gifts

This does not only have to be material things it could be gifts of kind gestures, kind words, consideration, activities together, travel, make dinner, a flower, a surprise, a break from the routine, etc.

Work to Drive Your Will into Mystical Death – (2630)

Drive Will

Make your psychological work of dissolving the various “I’s” as your main preoccupation of your life.

To do this we need to gather up our will and channel or focus it into our psychological work.

To do this requires a high level of definition. This level of definition required implies clearing the way from many distractions and other unrelated occupations.

Our will is finite and it gets syphoned off into many other distractions and activities. Then we lack the will to move forward.

We have to focus and guard our will by clearing the way. Constantly!

Our will is always caught up in something. It is always driving, hoping, desiring towards something. There is always a main drive in our life. The key to move forward is to make what we want to progress in our main drive.

To rise to the dimension of will in ourselves is to rise to come to rule over our psychology.

Consciousness and will operate together constantly within our psychology and they are the cause. Mind, emotion and action are simply effects of those causes.

With intense alertness and stillness we can rise to observe the dimension of will within us and see directly consciousness and will operating together forming effects within our psychology.

Then in that dimension of ourselves while we are alert and seeing consciousness and will operating within us, we can introduce new causes within. With new causes then come new effects.

An ego from the causal projects its will and then we can introduce the new cause which is the will to transmute with the conviction that we don’t need lust, but rather to be responsible for our own sexuality and to transmute our own sexual energy, and come closer to the Being within.

Any “I” is terrible because it has will trapped and polarised against us.

In Gnosis What is Your Weakness is Your Biggest Strength – (2628)

We have created our biggest weaknesses and because they are so big they have so much of our previous energy trapped within them.

So, when we unravel and free this trapped energy we will have transmuted that enormous weakness into a great strength of ours. Always our greatest weakness with work becomes our greatest strengths.
So be so happy if you find a great weakness and be even happier when you go to work on it. Because your greatest strength is coming!

In Gnosis What Baffles You the Most Will Instruct You the Most – (2627)

The biggest help to you in your Gnostic studies is to try and understand what of the teachings really baffles you.

When you make the effort to understand what baffles you, you will receive the most light or understanding about the teachings you have ever received.

There is a terrific guidance and messages of instruction in what baffles, bothers and disturbs us in the teachings, in life and in our relationships with others.

If we pay attention to these disturbances, instead of avoiding them, we can really help ourselves to progress in our development.

So many times the guidance that we seek is present right here and now in what we dislike, reject, are confused about, baffled by and are ignorance of.

Seek these out and you will have the guidance and light you require.

We Lie to Cover the Subconscious and Be Acceptably Excused – (2626)

When we have a reason for not doing something and that reason is something that is not really acceptable (illogical, absurd, silly, invalid like fear, jealousy, resentment etc.) or it is something that we can’t really express out loud (because it would cause big trouble) then what we do to cover that subconscious reason is to fabricate a lie. We fabricate a lie to cover up the subconscious reason (keep it hidden) and make the fact that we are not doing something or are doing something acceptable or forgivable.

Lies are a bridge between our subconscious and what is seen to be acceptable or forgivable.

It is very good to know this mechanism of lying, because human beings use this mechanism continuously – daily in fact.

End (2626).

Keeping Personality Passive – (2625)

Passive

Keeping our personality passive is best done when we know how to do it – of course – pretty obvious nothing new there! The thing is though that we mostly don’t know how to do it, but we really want to.
So then, to do it, we have to know when our personality is active. To know when it is active we must first of all know our personality.

Knowing when our personality is active is about knowing when what constitutes our personality is active. That is, if we know the characteristics and properties of the personality we can know when they are active in us, and then therefore we can know when the personality is active in us.

So here is a little list of some of the properties of the personality.
  • Name
  • Role
  • Job
  • Nationality
  • Social Class
  • Marital Status
  • Country
  • Education
  • Religion
  • Traditions
  • Upbringing
  • Sympathy with personal likes and circumstances
  • Preoccupations
  • Vanity
  • Reputation
  • Personal likes and dislikes
  • Human life matters
  • Fashion
  • Personal traits and characteristics
  • Personal concepts and beliefs
  • Personal ways and styles of doing things
  • Rules to do with eating, dressing, behaving socially etc.
  • Security

When Active

Typically, our personality is active when it seeks these things and or defends these things. An active personality mostly implies action.

An active personality either accepts or rejects, but is very seldom neutral.

An active personality is one which seeks out information and also seek to control events, people and circumstances so to assure its interests and likes are taken care of.

Conclusion

Once we know when the personality is active we can then make an effort to pacify it.

In order to pacify our personality it is necessary to see and think outside of the box of personality.

Only with the esoteric teachings or the consciousness can we really think outside of the box of our personality.

Drop Your Heart Rate – (2624)

In a retreat last year we were all taught a very nice and simple technique to lower our heart rate.

The technique is to relax and begin to breathe. Breathing out for a longer duration than you breathe in for.

Here are some photos showing my results of practicing this.

Here is my heart rate at work.

Here is my new heat rate after deliberately relaxing and breathing out for a longer duration than what I breathed in for. I did this for only a few minutes. Such a change ~ 25% decrease.

Master Samael taught that we all have a determined number of heart beats. So, it implies the slower our heart rate the more we prolong our physical life. So the key is to relax, relax and relax and breathe out long and slow to drop your heart rate.

End (2624).

Transmute 'Having' to 'Being' – (2623)

‘Being’ is higher than ‘having’. In many ways and from within many egos we have to transform ‘having’ into ‘being’.

Many egos are about ‘having’. Lust is certainly one of those egos. When we truly transmute we actually leave behind the having of lust and embrace ‘the being’ and this takes us more into our Being.

End (2623).

Self-Remembering has to do With Our Origins – (2622)

When we remember our Being or we practice some kind of self-remembering it is always reacted to remembering our origin of some kind. When we remember our Being we remember always our source, our origin from which we replenish ourselves with renewed energy, light and strength.

We have many origins in time. All of our origins in creation are relative, though the primordial Absolute origin is our inner Being.

End (2622).

Two Ways Master Samael Suggested to Keep Ourselves Conscious During the Day – (2621)

Two Ways

Master Samael suggested not in the same talk but in various talks, that to keep our consciousness active we can practice these two keys.

One is definitely more difficult than the other to apply.

Passive Personality

If we are able to keep our personality passive we can keep can provide access for our consciousness to take place in us.

Keeping the personality passive also keeps the mind passive.

Don't Allow Mind and Emotion to Interfere with the Practical Matters of Life

This is very difficult, because when things are close to us we get emotional and we decide based on our emotions and we get very involved. To not get involved emotionally but to act with our consciousness is the way to apply this key.

Language of and Contacting the Superior Centres – (2620)

Language

Each centre has its language as I have mentioned in a previous post. There is the language of emotion, the language of action and the language of the intellect. The language of the superior centres is symbolic. That is why we really the consciousness active in ourselves to communicate and understand these two centres.

We mostly come into contact with the language of the superior centres in dreams and in meditation. When we see a symbol in our imagination while in meditation or when we see certain symbols or archetypes in our dreams we are witnessing the language of the superior centres.

Contacting the Superior Centres

In order to make contact with the superior centres we need Master Samael says to make our personality passive. If we wish to live in continuous contact with the superior centres then we must dissolve the ego and the personality.

Genesis of the Bible is Alchemical and not Literal - (5319)

Alchemy

Master Samael says that the book of Genesis in the bible is all about the processes and works of Alchemy. It is not an account of the way the cosmos was created. Master Samael says to take it literally and use it to investigate or explain the creation of the solar system is erred.

To match Genesis in the bible with what is known in science is may bring to light some similarities and insight, but only ever up to a certain point, because they are two different things. The Alchemy is the Alchemy and it does not account for the many events that took place during creation.

In other words the book of Genesis in the bible is not to be taken literally.

Our Psyche is What is Really Ours - (2618)

Introduction

We went to a retreat today and some really very helpful talks were presented. This is a snippet from one of the talks.

Our Body Heals Itself and We Can't Change That

If our body is injured then our body using the intelligence installed into the body's instinctive centre, will heal itself. This happens fully automatically. We can say that this is the body's responsibility to heal itself.

What is really ours and is us, is our psyche. We can change, modify our psyche and make it worse or better and it is totally our own responsibility to take care of it, healing it and transforming it. If we don't work on it then it does not get better or heal itself or rejuvenate itself. Like how the body does.

What we can really have inner or innate power over, is our psyche.  One day though when our consciousness extends over our physical body, it too we become part of what we can modify.

Our body is a gift but our psyche is what is us, and taking care of that falls to us and not anyone else.

Because we are asleep we do not take up this responsibility and we often try to make it other people's responsibility to look after it. This I want to add is pure suffering. It is to set ourselves up to suffer.

End (2618).

Lose Your Will Lose Your Consciousness - (2617)

Will is Determinant

Will and self-remembering keeps your consciousness active.

As soon as we lose our will to work on ourselves and keep up our efforts to awaken we begin to lose our grip on our consciousness and our consciousness begins to lose its intensity, and we forget the work and we fall asleep.

Conclusion

We need will, we can't forget about will. It is a causative power in us and it is determinant in our path and for that matter everything that we wish to succeed in.

The Being that has captured will, is one that will triumph.

To Accept the Esoteric Work is to Accept a Divine Origin of Man – (2616)

Perhaps we are not aware of it, but in working on ourselves esoterically we have accepted that we have an origin other than the Darwinian Theory and any other commonplace offshoot of such a theory.

To work on ourselves means that we have a destination. In the esoteric work that destination is our very origin. The work is a return to our pristine point of departure.

Time after all is a closed circle. The Universe is that way where all returns to its origin.

A person who believes in evolution as their origin is one who also believes in linear time. Such a person will not believe a future cataclysm or a cycle of time ending.

Sorry don't think so...
I find it very difficult that a person working on themselves esoterically believes that their origin lies in a process of evolution from a starting point of an ape, fish or the likes.

The theme of the origin of man is central in the background of the work. Because man has a divine origin and because time is round, our possible line of development leads back to our very source or origin. So, our future is our origin, plus the benefit of the wisdom from the experience.

We are all working towards our origin.

In fact, to work on ourselves means that we have left behind at some point the materialistic theories of the origin of man, or we never ever subscribed to it in the first place.

Even the Monad Starts at the Bottom and Works Its Way Up – (2615)

Master Samael says that when an essence descends from the Absolute into creation, that essence does not start off in the humanoid state, but rather in the mineral state. After countless processes of evolution as a mineral, vegetable and animal, the essence of that Monad rises up to occupy the humanoid state. That is become a human being.

In short then, even the essence and the Monad start off at the bottom and work their patiently upwards. This seems to be a law of nature and life. Start at the bottom at the foundations and work your way up.

Of course, the egos of impatience and ambition really wish to bypass that law. As is very typical of pride. The worst enemy of pride is justice says Master Samael.

Will and Yearning Gives Our Mercury Wings to Fly in Our Interior Space – (2614)

Willing Upward

Willing our energy upwards within our interior causes our mercury which is our transmuted energy to spiral upwards within our interior.

This is a very important point. To will with yearning our energy to rise within ourselves.

This way we give our energy an upwards path within us, where it can move, open and positively modify create and modify things within the higher realms of our interior.

This is in stark contrast to when the energy precipitates downwards where it causes new abdominal creations to form in the deep and dark places of our lower dimensions (abyss), and new motivations to be moved.

Our Mercury with wings on, can reach our essence, our consciousness and the parts of our Being.
To transmute is to give a precious offering to our inner Being.

This is the direct and exact opposite of the ego of fornication that erroneously thinks it is giving but in reality it is not giving anything, it is wasting senselessly, because no one benefits from the loss of the sexual energy.

Thinking Someone is Against You is to Be Against Yourself – (2613)

We think that someone is against us. The fact is that we think it. Before we think we feel fine, not a single problem exists. As soon as we think it, strange unsettling emotions and problems set in.

We think to ourselves negatively, with a logic and charge from our subconscious. If we can study and know that subconscious thought we can stop hurting ourselves with that thought.

The other aspect to work on is once the thought has been thought, then to not believe it. To question it and find evidence against it. If our evidence does show that the person is indeed against us, well we have to then appeal to reality and see that another person being against us does not damage us in our Being and it only damages us psychologically if we allow it. That is if we do not work on it and we do not free enough will from it to extract ourselves out of any negativity dungeon that one or another ego would drag us into. When we see reality we can deal with things in a much better way.

Gnostic Anthropology Series – Post 1: Proposal – (2612)

Proposal

The proposal is to delve into the area of Gnostic Anthropology, and to present what is learnt in a series of posts.

The reason to delve into a study of Gnostic Anthropology is because this area of study investigates the origin of man.

This area of the origin of man is one which concerns all of us, and it is one in which most of us are asleep.

As we awaken by areas, this is one area in which we can also awaken…

In fact I wish to show through some posts how the ideas and concepts of the origin of man have some really far reaching ramifications in science, religion, philosophy and more importantly our very own life.

A Master’s Slipstream – (2611)

Get Behind the Master

A master is the best help for a group of people wanting their self-realisation.

When a neophyte becomes an initiate and that initiate attains mastery and that master then completes the Great Work, many doors are laid open for those who are behind. The doors to enter the path, to become an initiate, to attain mastery and to possess the philosophers’ stone are opened.

Such a person opens a channel, very much like a slipstream. Which drags those who are behind him or her upwards towards the path and the Being.

Such a master brings to the people who are behind him or her the real possibilities of entering the path. The keys to work the heaviest egos in the most efficient way, the impetus the strive to reach the path and the Being and the unspoken instruction and teaching of how to live the path.

Clearly before Master Samael attained Mastery the way to the path was practically closed to humanity. He brought to us the reason, the impetus and the keys to approach and walk the path.

The Master in contact with humanity does the same as Master Samael did, but for that section of humanity that comes to know, and be helped by this master.

A Cleared Way Blazed Open

Each master blazes a way through the thickets of darkness, leaving a clear way to be seen and walked for the aspirants to the path. Such a cleared way remains open for a while, alas with time the branches of darkness grow and close the cleared trail. Leaving confusion, many interpretations, and much work to do to make that way that was walked clear and open again.

An intelligent move is to be position oneself into the Master’s slipstream and walk the cleared way and teach others behind one, so to keep that way open.

We Have Seven Minds and How They Think – (2610)

Seven Minds

Master Samael says that we have seven minds. In each of our seven centres is a mind. This is really amazing. Master Samael says that our intellectual centre is a mind and our emotional centre is a mind. Our motor, instinctive and sexual centres are also a mind.

Read on for more info about this…

If there is a Mind There Must be Thinking

So if each centre has a mind, then each centre must think, and indeed they do.

Master Samael says that the seven minds are synthesised in the mental body and each mind expresses itself through the mental body. In other words, each centre thinks through our mind.

When each centre thinks it thinks with a particular language and indeed, we have very intellectual language, very emotional language, very definite action based language and sexual language.

To Think, Logic or Parameters are Needed

How does each mind or centre think?

The answer is by virtue of parameters as always, and these parameters are their functions, their properties, their speed, their qualities, their nature and their sphere or orbit.

Each centre thinks with a different perspective on things.
