We Have a Relative Degree of Everything - (5843)

We think we have some quality and one group of others may think we don't, while another group may say we have a lot of it. In the end we have a relative degree of it.

We are not full and perfect in any quality and further more everyone will see that quality in us differently.

Some will see it as inferior, and some as superior and some won't even see it...

When we see that we are all relative, things losen up and our mind about ourselves and others opens. Becomming more flexible and understanding.

What is always the case, is that when we are immersed in relativity we natually look to find an absolute. Which in this context means to look inside of ourselves to find the Absolute about ourselves which is found in our Inner Being.

Well, even then Master Samael says we will find relativity there too, but at least it is much closer to the Absolute.

Dharma and Karma in Countries - (5840)

Psychological Atmosphere

The dharmic or karmic environment of a country really helps us to learn different qualities.

Each country has a certain psychological environment, which is largely determined by the dhamric/karmic character of the country.

Within that psychological environment are many opportunities to develop qualities which maybe new for us. That is why we often have to remove ourselves from different environments and enter new ones to develop certain qualities.

We actually all do these often in life through different scenarios and circumstances, through different people and events.

Different Countries

As far as countries go, living in a different couintry allows us to see better the psychological environment of the new country and better understand the psychological atmosphere of the old country.

In South Africa, the psychological atmosphere is such that one can learn much about balance through several different areas and levels.

Some of those areas are: equality of opportunity, management of resources, intellect and action, charity greed and fear, life priorities, compassion, community, God and survival... Some of those levels are the personal, the family, the social and the national.

All of this is possible in South Africa because of the karma and culture that the country has.

South Africa is a place where you can open your heart. It in fact, forces you to. This is at first strange, how such a karmic environment can be good for spiritual development, yet it turns out that for some individuals it can be very good. When there are lacks there are opportunities to be filled with true values of the soul.

Australia, is a very dharmic country in comparison to South Africa. That dharma allows certain qualities, yet hinders others, just as karma does. The dharma in Australia allows one to study spirituality yet the karma in Africa hinders it, because it is so difficult to devote to God when you and your family are so hungry.

The Dharma in Australia makes everyone ok and independent becasue of having money to look after themselves through professional services. This in time becomes a kind of selfishness. Because everyone has money, meaning there are less people in need to readily give to and everyone essentially has the means to look after themselves. Hence why many Aussies may not have spoken to their neighbours for years, all because we are all ok and charity plus community is not a pressing need. We can all look after ourselves. While in Africa due to the abounding poverty and consequent crime, charity and community are needed.

In the end, the atmosphere of Australia does not stimulate us to open our heart. Our heart can in fact stay however it is, because there is not that need for it to open and to reach out for meaningful and deeper connection, because the environement does not demand it and it is a voluntary choice.

These are some differences, which are good to know so that we can take advantage of for our inner growth. Australia offers us the stability, time and finances to create a space to work on ourselves, while Africa offers us opportunities to open our heart, learn a lot about balance in many different levels and work on giving and fear.

Seeing Money as Energy Causes an Octave of Awakening and Change - (5838)

Interestingly money is really energy. As soon as we see it that way many things can change within us and within our life.

Money is energy and energy can also be seen as merit.

How do we all earn what we call money? By working, and what is working? It is really the use of our attention, energy, time and knowledge. Our knowledge is the result of having used our time, attention and time. It all comes back to energy.

As soon as we see money as energy we see that money will then obey the same laws as energy.

These laws are: energy can not be lost, energy can be transformed into other forms of energy, energy and matter are interchangebable and energy can be both stored and exchanged.

If we think a little, we will see that is exactly what can be done with money. We can save money, spend it and convert it to so many things.

The thing we are all worried about though is losing money. But money can not really be lost because it is energy and energy is never lost. It may look as though it has been lost but it will come back to us as money or in a superior quality of worth.

What has happened to us along the way is that we see money as physical units that can be gained or lost and that these physical blocks obey physical finite laws. However money as energy means that money obeys other laws such as reciprocity, that sit above the laws of matter. Money obeys the laws of energy.

Truly how can we see money as physical units because the money we really have is just digits on a bank's computer screen and records, and lots of pieces of paper which really in themselves have no physical value.

The important thing is how understanding this changes and frees our mind, allowing us to give more and step oiur of greed and fear and develop trust in th ehigher laws which govern energy/money.

When we Meditate the Spiritual Beings of the Invisible Visit Us - (5842)

When we meditate is when teh masters come to visit us and stay withus for a while.

The more we can mediate teh more they will come and help us.

This makes sense, because when we meditate, we are the most open and receptive to their help, which mostly comes in the way of radiations from their presence, that enter us, and internally heal us.

Protect Joy - (5841)

To protect the joy we have in our life is really more important than we think. We only really realise how important it is when we lose it.

The common expreience we all go through when we lose it, is that our life become bitter and we start to lose meaning and purpose.

We all have certain things that bring us joy, whatever they may be. These things we have to know and keep.

The thing we can do with joy, is to keep it or to transform it or sublimate it if we find that a sublimated version of joy will serve our spiritual development more. The main thing is that we have to have joy in our life, in at least one area of our life.

Of course the more areas of our life have joy in them the better.

This is a secret to maintian ourselves in Gnosis. Bring joy for some aspect of Gnosis and protect it, expand it and enjoy it. We can't ever allow the study of Gnosis to become bitter. It becomes just too hard to sustain.

In summary, know your joy, your happy place, protect it, sublimate it if you like, never kill it.

Start to Walk into the Unknown - (5839)

The start to walk into the unknown believe it or not is to walk into the possibility of us being mistaken. That is holding mistaken beliefs, concepts and points of view.

If we take any situation no matter how small, and we decide to look into possibility of us being mistaken, that is us walking into the unknown.

We are 'righ't about everything, this we know but we don't know that we are wrong.

Perfectionism is Compensation - (5836)

An ideal enforced absolutely, in a relative and imperfect world breaks balance. Because it is impossible to secure an ideal perfectly in the physical world.

An ideal can be secured perfectly in a perfect world. For example, mathematical laws hold perfectly true in the abstract world of mathematics, however in the physical world new variables and constants creep into the equation.

Whenever there is an imabalance there is compensation. Perfectionism comes from some kind of inferiority.

It is hard to find but it is there...

How Our Mistakes Through Repentance Become a Force of Love - (5835)

When we look back at some 'big' mistakes we have made and there is repentance in our heart the memory of that mistake creates consciousness that brings love.

That love carries us forward towards more conscious action.

The magic ingredient to turn our worst past misakes and actions into love is repentance.

Repentance has been taught to be a Christic factor.

It just goes to show us how the Christic factor is marvellous in its single ability to make darkness work for the light in a way that is extraordinary, and this would not be possible if there was no darkness there previously, to be transformed into light.

Is light just light no matter where or how it comes about? Or is the light that has been trasnformed from darkness different and have something special to it? Who knows...

The paradox is that greater love is born from previous hurt transformed... To love deeply there has to be injury?

Annoyances at the Body's Nature - (5826)

It is a lack of our good will to express annoyance at another person because of the sounds they make when they eat or drink.

Here are some observations about this situation:

We don't get annoyed at the sounds we make when we eat or drink.

We tend to get more annoyed when others are eating and drinking and we are not.

We tend to get annoyed when others eat and drink quickly most especially when they are enjoying what they are eating and drinking.

We tend not to get annoyed when we have eaten and we have prepared the food the other person is eating and enjoying.

These observations aid us to understand that the annoyance we feel is actually in a big part from the factor of selfishness in our psychology.

It seems that when selfishness is pleased somehow we are ok, but when it itsn't we get annoyed.

The remedy here, is to feel happy that the other person is enjoying nourishing their body howevere they chose to.

Selfishness gets disturbed at others enjoying nourishing their body while we are not able to in that given moment. So if we tell ourselves: "no worries soon we will be eating too and drinking also". It is like we created that selfishness in times of great lack, hence explaining the intensity of the annoyance, where our survival instinct is being triggered.

A Person's Atmosphere - (5834)

A person's atmosphere is interesting, it holds lots of information about the person. It is there is plain site for anyone to read.

The useful thing is to be able to read it.

A person's atmosphere holds information about the person's level of being, what they have been thinking and feeling about as well as their immediate internal state.

A person's atmosphere is usually filled with the end result vibrational quality of what they have just been doing. Someone just coming from a musical concert will have that in their atmosphere, someone just coming from the hospital will have that in their atmosphere and so on and so on.

A person's atmosphere is what we can perceive if we look carefully at a person. From within a person's atmosphere we can see the person's presence of cogniscience and perceive the particular flavour of their psychology.

It is a special kind of looking that is not physical but it is of a psychological and or conscious type. It is a type of perceiving that we need a bit of time to open when observing a person. The longer in a conversation we carefully and nuetrally place our attention on them, looking into their atmosphere, the more we can perceive.

Grounding, Presence, Meditation and the God's of the Earth - (5833)

Work with your element to get you started.

To start with familairity and affintity if available often leads to a easier and also a good start.

Each element has much to offer. We all have our affinities with the elements.

The Earth element is very helpful for meditation. As all the elements are. It is the earth element that may teach us the most to start with.

Being present is mostly related to being grounded, that is to the Earth.

It is difficult to focus in meditation if we are not grounded. When we are not grounded we are too easily overcome by the air element in our thoughts and the tendencey to float around amongst the winds of thought.

Establishing and maintianing a practice of presence or meditiation is very much related to the Earth element.

To learn more and draw more from any element we need to become one of the features of that element.

For exmaple to draw from the Earth element become a mountain. To draw from the water element become a lake. To draw from the air element become a cloud. To draw from the fire element become a flame.

The Gods of the Earth, Gob and Kitichi can help us just as Master Samael says. They can help us to become familiar and draw from the element of Earth. They can help us to delevelop the qualities that Earth has.

To be a mountain by first imagining a mountain and then bringing a mountain into us and becoming a mountain and finally meditating as a mountian we can see the trasncendenetal and useful qualities of Earth.

Seeing those qualities we can then see what we lack. As soon as we can see what we can develop we have information to work with and ask help for to expand.

An Alchemical Couple Can Not Be Anything But Abundant - (5831)

By its very nature the sexual energy is abundance.

The sexual energy is creative power and it is the primordial base energy of all creation. This means that it partakes in everything and is the centre of everything.

Master Samael also says that the sexual centre is a centre of gravitation, meaning that many things will have the tendencey to gravitate around it. This tells us that it is magnetic, that it attracts and creates.

A couple working in the Alchemy firstly conserve their sexual energy, and secondly they fecundate it, giving it creative power. These two actions increase the potency and magnetic power of their sexual energy. The blending of their two energies in the practice of the Alchemy causes a creative multiplication that attracts and opens new possibilities and opportunities.

A couple or an indiviudal working alchemically or hermetically with their energies can only bring abundance to their lives. The sexual energy that is potent seriously attracts abundance. Like attracts like. The Gnostic work with our sexual energy lifts our level of the Being and changes our life circumstances of a socio-economic type as well enriching us inwardly and spiritually.

Losing the sexual energy in the end impoverishes us, as the magnetic power of abundancne and creativity weakens and leaves us.

This information is very good for people who are experiencing difficulties of the socio-economic type. Couples or families and individuals who live in countries that are poor (like Africa) can change their life circumstances when they conserve and transmute their sexual energies.

Remembering the Being through the Head and Heart - (5832)

It's different to remember the Being through our head than through our heart.

Through the head we experience a spike of consciousness that says: "what am I doing here?" "Who am I?". Questions arise that are deep and probing and can make one feel very uneasy for a while.

Through the heart we experience the flash of renewed consciousness as a joy that says: "I am here in the world!". "I am present!". It is affirming and it makes one feel grateful, responsible and embracing of our life and our Being here in the world. We may feel courageous, expansive and loving.

The most intelligent way is to combine both head and heart together to receive the benefits of both centres which combining together produce something new.

Old Notes on Will Power - (5830)

Not Will Power

Excuses, evasions and justifications are the opposites of will power.

The above things stop will power from developing.

If we work seriously on eliminating them we will strenghten our will power.

Evading responsibility is the biggest act of evasion.

Responsibility and consistency are also will power, as is discipline and persistence.

Will power is used 'to be' and 'to conquer'. What is not and what does not lead to conquering oursleves is not will power.

Ill-Will

The element of reinforcing ill-will is justification.

Ill-will needs the ego to manifest.

Good will needs the consciousness to express.

The awakened will uses the free consciousness.

If we have good-will it will draw the consciousness closer and closer.

When we align our centres with a virtue we are engaging a high part of our being that mulpties benefits for others.

Ill-will also multiplies the benefits for the egos.

Clairvoyance is best used by not destroying people's ideas but helping and guiding them into manifesting that idea with and through the virtues of the soul.

When will touches memory it turns to ill-will.

When will contacts the consciousness it becomes ontological will.

Fear, anxiety and self-compassion stop us from implementing the ontological affirmative psychology.

The vehicle of the will is the word.

Anger Mostly Comes from Not Seeing - (5829)

Anger blinds and also produces memory loss.

Anger has the function of defending, protecting and correcting.

Anger is related a loss of vision.

When we get angry our ability to visualise disappears.

Because of a lack of vision, that is usually not being able to see what others are saying, we get angry.

Often also not being able to see our own truths in a pressurised environment we can get angry.

When we can't see a truth, or see the real reason for something, or see a defect we have or an error we are making, we get angry.

When we can't see the solution, a way out or a better way to do something we get angry. When we can't see an alternative to our desire or that letting go is better we get angry.

To stop being angry we need clear, wide and deep vision. Getting angry ruins this vision and cultivating this vision weakens anger.

Values have their Order - (5827)

Every quality has its order. If we get the order right we express that value freely and beautifully in such a way that it helps both ourselves and others.

If we get that order wrong it either disadvantages others and later ourselves or vice versa.

The order is the right application and often this is what confuses us and takes us so long to work out.

For example, happiness is not about being happy with what we want but being happy with what we already have.

Trust is not about trusting others but much more about trusting ourselves. So that when we trust ourselves we can trust others even if they do not inspire trust. Becasue we trust we can handle whatever happens.

Order is defined as the place where we centre our attention, that is the point where we place most of our attention on.

Love is about loving consciously ourselves first to give to others of the love we have.

Giving is about giving to ourselves until our cup is overflowing and then giving of the overflow to others. Giving without that order produces imbalance which becomes difficult to sustain.

So on and so on goes the order of the values...

Additional Balance Notes - (5828)

When we ourselves are unbalanced, or we are in a situation that is unbalanced, to keep ourselves or that situation going, a tremendous amount of effort is required. That effort very quickly becomes unsustainable

To sustain an imbalance, which is something that lacks true order, enormous effort is required. Crime is a very good example oif this. Crime is very costly and requires great effort to commit and to recover from. Crime we all know is imbalance and is against the order of things.

When things fall down it is a call to balance or a re-balance.

It is easy to become a saint or a sinner. It is much more difficult to become and stay balanced. Because neither the saint or sinner work with consciousness.

The consciosuness balances. It is the agent of balance.

The general pattern of the saint and sinner is that they are respectively good or bad in a certain area and the sub-areas relating to that area. Each saint and sinner are the same in that they are mixture of good and bad. Neither is better than the other.

For example, the drunkard's 'sin' just to follow the terminology, is to drink until drunk. Often that state leads to offence resulting in violence and sometimes in Licentiousness. These are the sub areas. But in many other areas of life the drunkard is good. The saint has an area that they virtuous in but in others they are not.

To be balanced is to be above both of these states.

We often like to give the appearance of balance. We prefer greatly to avoid projecting the image of imbalance. Because to be imbalanced is humiliating.

Pride adn balance are intimately connected.

When we get unbalanced we become a karmic instrument - or an agent for creating inbalance around us.

When we have the right order of things, it is a lot easier to dissolve a defect. It is also a lot easier to apply any given value.

We learn about imbalance first by observing it in others. Then looking within. When witnessing the imbalance of others it is a sure invitation to look within to find the equivalent.

We stauchly defend imbalance with sentimentality. Often this factor is what produces imbalance.

We also defend imbalance with beliefs which are not fully aligned with reality. Truly reality and truth balance us.

Often karmic memory related beliefs as well as religious and cultural beliefs are the ones powerful enough to keep imbalance going.

The value that most balances us is the truth. The apex of the triangle. Truth to see the imbalance first of all, then love to drive the correction, and wisdom to guide the 'how' to correct.

Balance and order lie at the foundation of every endevour.

What is out of balance is difficult to drive forward and control.

Balance is found and maintained using both hands. Just like driving a car, the driver - the balancer steers both left and right to keep the car straight and to arrive at the destination.

Balance makes alignment easier. Alignment is always best sought by the correct choice of the centre of gravity or reference point.

To keep an unbalanced situation going lies, coercion and lots of talking end up being resorted to. As they are the menas that provide quick patch solutions.

Imbalances after sometime all produce a crash or a falling over. It is only a matter of looking in our life to find them.

Three brains we must work with to be balanced.

To start something on a dream is for it to ollapse. Becasue it becomes unbalanced. Reality balances. For balance real and strong foundations are needed.

Many relationships end because of imbalance and because of being based on the wrong order - that is on the wrong of centre of gravity.

To remember the Being is to start with ourselves. Not with an external fantasy image of a wizard. When we don't start with ourselves going deeper into ourselves to find the Being, the exercise of remembering the Being is unbalanced and ineffective.

Balance comes forth from the right order being chosen and the right (solid) foundation. If the foundation is false and the order is wrong, balance will be continually elusive. There and not there and not ever knowing when and where it has gone and when or how it will come back.

Declare for Dharma - (5825)

Our life is the place to create dharma and karma. Dharma and karma for us and our Monad together. Our life here in the physical is the place for us to manage our dharma and pay our karma.

To do something expecting a specific return does work to bring us dharma.

To give 20AUD to get 20AUD does not really work to bring us dharma or pay our karma. Because we are not working with the law consciously. We are working with the law mechanically with the expectation of greed ('having').

To work consciously with a law to bring dharma, means to work with that law using the values of faith, love, hope and trust. Without these values we are working mechanically and dharma is not going to appear.

The law will still work mechanically, we will get 20AUD at some point but we won't get that multiplication which is dharma nor that freedom which is the payment of karma.

Principally we need faith and love to work consciously with these laws.

We work with a law based on conscious faith where we know that the law will work and if we work with because of love with love we maximise the law's results.

When we work with a law with trust, we don't specifiy and desire it's results we leave the results to the law's intelligence to determine for us.

To work consciously is also to make a declaration. Before giving to declare that we are going to give with love and out of love for others to receive light and happiness without any expectation, just having faith, trusting and loving will bring us dharma and pay karma.

When we lose money or we have to pay something such as a big bill, or some appliance breaks, it is a sure sign that we need to give something.

If we don't have money to give, we can give anyone of our services freely to others.

Dharma and Karma in Relationships - (5824)

Accumulation of dharma and karma also applies to relationships. That is the secret why many relationships work and others do not.

When a relationship works there is dharma or merit. When a relationship is problematic there are debts.

Putting values to work in any relationship creates merit or dharma. Merit or dharma makes things to work smoothly. Even if the ego is well and alive in both people.

Debts can also be accrued, by not using values in the face of the many different events and scenarios, relationships encounter.

The very first time two people meet there is no karma or dharma, this the most nuetral point. Merit or debt can be created from there onwards.

When there is merit or debt, it is clear that two people have meet and interacted before.

When co-operation is required and there is merit, it is easy to bring co-operation, and values are used multiplying the merit.

When values are deficient, to bring co-operation and make things work as they apparently should, coercion are often used. Coericion can take two forms, one is via bending the truth and the other is by the use of force. In both cases, coercion compensates for the absence of values and is the instrument of fear.

In any case to acquire merits in an relationship, work is required. When there is existing debt, more work is required. Debts have to be repaired first and then merit from the use of values built up. When there is built-up merit there is harmony.

A relationship can turn from merit to debt when the opposite of the Divine values are used, which over time wear down the merits accummulated, turning the relationship difficult and problematic due to debt.

This teaching also explains why a person may be a good person with decent values, and eventhough some relationships are good there are others that are not. This is because there is merit already in the harmonious relationships and debt already in the difficult relationships.

Relationships with debt are problemtatic and difficult until merits appear. As soon as merits appear things change and the scales of the relationship move.

If one side of the scale favours one party more in the relationship, the Universal Divine Law of Balance has an entry to step in and administer certain acts of rebalancing so that the person with more merit can live in accordance with the nature of the merit they have. That is the secret.

Anger as Clue to the Unseen About Ourselves - (5823)

One of the worst kinds of anger is the anger that is unkown, and is disproportionately strong.

This kind of anger is that way for a purpose. It is there for us to receive a shock and investigate.

This kind of anger alway hides something about ourselves, it tells us that there is something that we are not facing nor accepting about ourselves.

It says there is something that needs correcting. It says you are believing the oppsitie of what it is trying to show you. It says take notice, accept, correct and gain the strength in your essence that this anger manifests with.

End (5823).

Resistance Accumulates - (5822)

The best way to face resistance is to always notice it as early as possible, that is, notice that what we are thinking and feeling is resistance. Recognise it as resistance, accept it as resistance, find out what the resistance is exactly to and find out reasons why. Then find something useful in accepting the resistance, sit in the resistance, be happy and dissolve it.

Working on seriously on resistance we won't get the accumualtion of resistance which manifests silently, unexpectedly and mysteriously in an unknown and hiddden way where we get sick and all sorts of obstacles suddenly fall in front of us.

Gnosis as Healing - (5821)

It is something really helpful to do a kind of psychological and spiritual check-in with the students that come to the classes. The check-in allows the teacher to see where the students are at and from which internal state they are attending with.

For a particular group somewhere, we are finding that people are generally unwell, overwhelmed, semi-lost, suppressing, unbalanced, tired and a little broken etc. - basically needing healing.

The classes of Gnosis about the classical topics of the four ways, sexual hydrogen, the seven rounds and seven races, involution and evolution - all those kind of things, help a little, but they are not as helpful as they could be, because the students are not in the right space to receive these teachings, which is totally normal when one is suffering in some way.

Sometimes these topics add a bit of extra weight to their already suffering minds of people.

So Gnosis as knowledge focussed directly to heal our inner life, presenting practical tools is the answer for such students.

If our inner life balances and heals so will our outer life.

Of course, Gnosis or self-knowledge is the answer to all healing. We can never heal something we do not know.

To study simply the different personal issues of suffering with a determined focus on the remedy is the way Gnosis can be healing and useful to such people.

Such healing topics are: balance, energy cultivation, order of our psyche, conscious love, self-remembering, awareness of the mind, trust, hope, conscious faith, solving problems, meditation, consciousness, introspection and so on...

Base and Heart Chakra as Foundation - (5820)

Forgetting the about the base chakra and not aligning with it, that is not being present and connected to your reality means that it will be difficult to focus.

We tend to only be interested in the upper chakras and what they can tell us, though if we are ignoring the base we can not focus and provide the balance, stability and energy that they need to function.

If our heart chakra is blocked and not working properly or very inactive (stone heart) we are simply not aligned and it will be very difficult to access the chakras above the heart, and the information and energy that they transform and bring to us won't arrive.

In summary, if we ignore the base chakra (Muladhara) we can't focus and balance ourselves. If we ignore the heart chakra we are simply not aligned with our Inner Being, the higher centres and knowledge are
blocked.

We ignore the base chakra by not grounding ourselves, and being fully present. We ignore the heart chakra by not opening it and allowing it to be spin freely through sending good will to others and to the unitotal of ourselves.

The Volume Aspect of the Word - (5817)

The volume at which we speak is a legitimate characteristic of the word. The volume we chose to speak with conveys information. The function of the word is to convery information and the word does this through content or vocabulary and through its three characteristics of tone, rhythm and volume.

Volume has to do with empahasis. High volume equals high empahsis and a lowered volume equals a lesser emphasis.

An opposite unappropiate use of volume usually goes hand in hand with sarcasm.

Just like the tone it can be the volume used that makes all the difference to the interepateion of what is being said.

The main interpretation of the tone and volume of the word has to do with perceiving the intention of the speaker. It is often the perceioved intention that is objected to rather than the actual words spoken.

The volume at which we speak, if we investigate can reveal to us something about our psychology. For example, there are people who are capable of a decent speaking volume but chose to always speak softly. Then there are others who always speak loudly.

Many cultures characteristically speak with a particular volume.

Each ego makes use of volume. Anger speaks loudly or very quietly.

We know in practical terms that if we lower our volume in a volatile environment we can get much better results. If we use a slightly louder volume in a meeting we will be heard and our contribution listened to.

Key of Life is a Centre of Gravity that We Love = Happiness - (5819)

A key universal to all life is to find a centre of gravity, that is a centre of priority about which life revolves.

Having a centre gives us a reference upon which to order, organise, priortize and balance our life by.

A balanced life is a happy life.

Having a centre also gives us purpose, meaning, and a reference upon which to make the difficult decisions in life by.

The key is that our chosen centre of gravity is something we love. That is the key to happiness.

Life for everyone is miserable when our centre of gravity is something imposed upon us and it is something that we don't love.

A Reflection on Healing Can Produce a Shift - (5800)

Mechanical Norm

There is a certain shift that can take place within us when we think deeply about what it is to heal.

This is what I found when I began to reflect.

When first examining our ideas about healing we may see that we what we think and feel are things that are a little vague and weak.

I don't want to say for sure, but often the feeling of weakness related to healing comes from disbelief.

When someone knows something or believes strongly in something, they are immediately and automatically strong.

It makes sense why we don't belive so much in healing, because overall we tend to hear more about the cases where healing didn't work out, and so in time we become skeptical in relation to healing.

When we think about our health it is like by the grace of God we are healthy and we are not sure why we feel ok and are apparently healthy. It's like we are lucky, and those whom we know that are sick, have been unfortunately struck by a stroke of bad luck, for who knows why.

But of course we are lucky, we say quietly, because it is 'us'...

That's how the ego sees it anyway.

The egos sees that we are healthy because it is 'me' the 'special one' and so because it does not know anything else, it takes advantage of being healthy and then later, when by cause and effect we get sick, it protests 'why me', 'why me for heaven's sake'.

Finding ourselves in good health, we hope that we will continue that way - feeling ok and we hope that those we love will continue that way too.

We don't know for sure and we don't have anything to tell us with certainity how things will be. It is all about hoping and that by turning a blind eye - "I'm all ok and things will be all ok".

The above is the mechanical view of health and healing and can be changed inside out when we reflect deeply about how true the mechanical norm is in logical confrontation with the esoteric teachings of healing.

Healing Shift

What about healing as an esoteric science? If to be awakened is to know our destiny and know when we are going to die, why not be awakened to our health and our ability to heal? As our health will determine our death, so knowing about our health is part of awakening. Yet it seems to be something that is often not given too much attention.

Healing as a sciecne does exist and there are ways that we can heal ourselves and work to maintain our health. When we open ourselves to the possibility of healing all of the above "Mechanical Norm" crumbles away.

The ability to work with healing practices, negotiate our karma and work intensely along side with the Masters of Medicine for our own healing and that of others produces a shift.

The shift is one of consciousness and responsibilty, where we are responsible for our own health in its current state and furthermore we can consciously determine to a great degree the state of our health from here onwards. If our health deterioates, being conscious about our health we can at the very least know precisely for ourselves why it is that way.

To heal is also to fight with love. Force and medicine have their connection. That is why medicine advances so m,uch during times of war.

The shift to healing is one of fighting for oneself and others with love.

Death as a Universal Cosmic Intelligent Force - (5815)

Notes

Death is a cosmic intelligent force that is truly needed for the maintenance of order and balance in the cosmos.

It has a very transcendental aspect to it.

It is far more than loss and sorrow...

Essentially the teachings of life and death invite us to see death more and differtent to loss and sorrow.

With Death we learnt eh essence of life. Death is needed to teach wehat is most imnportnat aboput life.

Death takes us to new life in a new and transcendental way.

Death takes us intward to enter higher internal dimensions.

Death brings ever and ever closer an ending and naturally when an ending is close we enter into a evaluation of what is close coming to an end.

Death is the result of life. It summarises life. Death produces the summary and the end result.

Death has its own particular special nature, qualities and charactistics. Just as life and birth do.

Death speaks to us about an ending but there is no ending, there is with the process of death - a new beginning.

Death unites endings and new beginings. Death is a bridge.

We expereince death all the time, what the human being has trouble with is that we don't see the new beginning and the new life unfolding in the internal dimensions.

To die consciously is a lifetime effort.

Death sets the goal for life, organises and priorotises life. The 'end' determines the process.

To be well prepared for death is a matter of several factors:
Standing balanced before the evaluation of our life.
    Fulfillment of life's purposes.
    Resolved refgrets or little regrets.
Forgiven and released hidden truths and grudges.
Made amends and reparations. Comprehended and dissolved the cause of life's errors.
Knowing about the new life in the internal worlds that death will bring.
Cultivated a closeness to the Inner Divinity.
Developed as much self-awareness as we possibly could.

Complimentary to the above are the following:
A lot of being balanced before the evaluation of our life has to do with having expressed the love we     needed to and was there. Noting that he expression of love is very wide and covers many ways.

Basic Parameters: Eating, Sleeping & Enjoyment - (5816)

Simple but surprisingly true. If our eating changes there is something to look at in our emotions. If our sleep changes there is also something to check with our emotions. If we what we usually enjoy ceases to make us happy then there is something defintely affecting us.

Eating, sleeping and enjoyment are definite and clear indicators that our psychological state is now affecting our whole life, not just one area but now the whole.

Be the Consciousness to Your Maximum & Stop Worrying - (5814)

We truly burden and worry ourselves sick about how much we are or are not working on ourselves. That worry carried constantly becomes very detrimental to our mental and emotional health.

We can take that tension out of our lives if we just natually dirrect our presence and voluntary effort into being our consciousness.

Being our consciousness we will exercise our consciousness (awaken), we will behave correctly (no karma) and we will also die in ourselves.

Plus a very important thing - our worries and guilt will stop and we will consciosuly enjoy and get the most out of our life!

We Don't Like/Dislike a Thing - We Just Like/Dislike Our Own Idea of It - (5813)

We don't like or dislike things in themselves, that is how the thing really is in itself.

We don't like or dislike the experience of the thing.

The experience of the reality of thing is above liking and disliking.

What we like and dislike is our own idea of the thing. We don't even like or dislike another person's idea of the thing. What we like or dislike is our own idea about their idea.

The real experience of the thing is different to the idea and the ideas of others.

The idea traps us while the experience frees us.

It's worth reviewing our ideas and seeking the experience of them and holding off on judgement and opinions until we experience.

How Simple Life is If we Answer to the Moment's Request - (5812)

Life is simple if we endevour to answer to the question of the moment. A lot simpler and kinder than we think.

To stick to the question of the moment is enlivening and relieving at the same time.

To do this simple thing is not easy. We find that we need to train for it.

We always anticipate more because we have been conditioned to feel that we fall short of the mark and so the ego always looks for more to avoid that from happening.

Life does not really require more. All that life requires is that the question of the moment be answered.

More ends up falling into the 'not good enough' basket. In the effort to deliver what is sufficeintly good we go over board and produce what's not required and the 'not good enough' feeling appears.

When the question of the moment is seen fully the question of future consequences can be gauged accurately.

Seeing the future accurately we can solve problems before they exist.

See A Person As Needing Love and Want to Give them Love - (5811)

A beautiful way to see people, is to see them as an essence just like us that needs love. An essence, as all essences are, worthy of love and whose life and well-being is transformed with love.

This is the first part. The second part is to feel the happiness within ourselves to give our love so that the other can feel loved.

This can be applied for anyone.

I find this the best way to see people and a better way to live.

There may be hundreds of reason why can disagree with the above. Some people are not worthy of love, some people take advantage, some people will take and never give anything... Some people don't need love but correction adn ti goes on.

All these things may be true observations of people, yet there are many ways to give love...

Past Life Memories of Dying - (5810)

I think one of the most important memories to have is that of dying. Even better is that of remembering life after death while waiting for a new body.

At the moment is a summary of our life. Where the most essential valuation of our life just lived is perceived.

So to remember this is to know the essence of the life we just lived. It is like to read the concluding findings of a report.

From these memories we can form a different view of death. A truer and more exact view.

These memories reveal information that break our concepts, that generally make us sit uneasy with death.

If we change the way we see and relate to death our life right now will also change. Our own life is very conditioned by the way we see death.

These memories tell us that death is not as bad as we think. That coming back here is worse to face our unpaid karma and the same egos as before.

It's very much like an going in for a operation. We are 'put under' then we wake up to discover if luck is on our side with the results: things went well or there were complications, little pain or a lot, long or short recovery etc.

The angels of death help us to make it an easy experience. They tell us that it will be quick, not so hard, you'll feel much better soon and you'll feel free...

In the nature of death is liberation and sublimation into the internal... It is not just a painful loss inot the unknown.

Finally Knowing What to Do in Your Life - (5809)

When we through some revelation of our consciousness know what it is that we need to do in this life there is a profound shift within.

This may come late in life... But better whenever it comes than never.

When you know you are at peace and you are set free. That is set free from confusion, guessing and supposition. All you have to do is to achieve it.

It is all your own responsibility. In taking up that responsibility is where your power is.

It is your task adn your task alone. No one will share in it with you and no one will tell you to start and no one will care or know if you are doing itshare it with you.

You have one thing, one task in sight. All else that is not about that task orders itself to lower priority.

Everything makes sense, you will know why such and such a thing is and was so important.

Your life is about that task. No more wondering just doing and doing with purpose, love and conviction of knowing.

What others say and how they judge does not matter anymore. It only matters when you don't know really what to do or what you have to do.

Compressed Heart Chakra - (5808)

When we suppress emotions we end up affecting our heart. Before we affect our heart we affect our heart chakra.

There are all manner of ailments due to suppressing emotions. High cholestrol, high blood pressure are one of them.

The way our heart chakra is affected by suppressing emotions is that it gets compressed. The result of compression is that our heart contracts.

A contracted heart is one that is harder - that is on the way to becomming stone-like. A contracted heart is also a painful heart. A painful heart is a very reactive and volatile heart.

It takes a contracted heart a long time to return back to normal after a small incident. Whereas before our heart contracted, we would return to normal very quickly.

A human's beings natural capacity to expand in openess and positivity reduces greatly when our heart chakra is conrtracted.

A contracted heart chakra affects the head. Where our head narrows and a certain forgetful numbness sets in where possibilities become limited in a fuzzy unaware-like pessimism.

We end up suppressing emotions in the beginning because of some grief or hurt. When that hurt is not wanted to be looked at we suppress it. We suppress due to judgement and fear, as well as social norms.

When that suppression accumulates is when our heart contracts and that is when we become very reactive and volatile. This is because the heart is being held under pressure and any difficulty or insult releases the grip and hence comes an explosion.

When we are aggressive towards others there is usually a lack of foregiveness somewhere. Often towards ourselves for having done this or that and made this and that mistake...

To attend to the emotions being suppressed in freedom, in inner non-judgement with patience is the start. To know them openly and pateintly is where it starts.

The next step is to forgive. Then the way out appears.

The next step after that is to heal, recover and repair.

A major part of repairing is to learn, comprehend and dissolve the cause within of the mistakes made. If or whatever they may have been.

Close but Not Quite -Teaches Us A Lot - (5807)

Near or close misses teach us a lot. It's like we go right to the edge and get to look down below.

There we can see the danger and what's expecting us if we are to go over.

It's all about timing. To be able to stop in time.

This is the second level of learning. The first level is our consciousness alone, the second level is the edge and the third level is over the edge.

Maybe we have to go over the edge a few times to benefit from the learning of the edge.

Maybe we have to go to the edge several times to be able to benefit from the consciousness alone.

The learning from the edge goes like this: we back away and we come back to ourselves and our life and we appreciate much more what it is that we have and nearly gave away...

We also learn at a deeper level how much more complete or convenient the line was that we were following before we met the edge.

We may also have discovered the folly of the illusion or false values and beliefs that took us to the edge...

The third typwe of learning over the edge, is bitter and requires much recovery depending on how high the cliff was. The learning of the edge does not spell disaster but almost does and there is little to no recovery.

There is no risk in the first learning, little in the second and great risk in the third.

We can take a horse to water but we can't make it drink. These three learnings teeach us to drink and to drink better and more.

The Negative is Not More Real - It is Less Conscious - (5806)

We think (because of the past) that the negative outlook regarding future projects is the more real one, the more reaslistic and down to earth one. While the positive outlook is silly, new agey and airy fairy.

Due to karmic memory we tend to think eveyrthing will be difficult and will go wornog or not go right so easily.

However, this is very conditioned and mechanical as thinking positively and maintaining positivity while acting in alignment towards the success of the project is a conscious action that engages conscious will together with various conscious values of the soul.

Motor Centre More Crime - (5805)

It seems that countries for where people are more based in their motor centre crime is greater than countries where the people are more based in their intellectual centre.

The main reason for this could be that people who have their centre of gravity in the motor centre act without giving serious thought to their actions.

The main thought process to engage before acting is about seeing the consequences.

There are the instincts then there should be right thought then there should be action.

Each Birthday is a Death - (5804)

Master Samael says everyone's death is their crown.

Every birthday is a birthday because the year has come to an end. In other words the year has died.

So each birthday is a celebration of a death as well as a birth into a new year.

It's good to train ourselves to see birth and death together always. Our suffering begins when we separate the two and only see one alone.

Just like we should always see good and evil together in the same instant. Seeing both gives some transcendence and nuetrality.

Judging is Karmic - (5803)

Judging is quite a karmic activity. Essentially for ourselves. I say this because so often it happens that when we judge others we end up in the same position as them and acting just the same. This is exactly the pattern of karm. It is as if the Law of Karma is saying don't judge leave that up to 'me'.

It is even worse when we verbally judge others. We end up being the same with an extra bit of humiliation on top due to the inconvenience we caused them.

Meditiaton teaches us not to judge mentally. While we are judging mentally we can't bring any stillness.

Not judging teaches us to not align the judging of ourselves with the judgements of others. For example, someone may say that what we are doing is a waste of time and we feel upset. Why we feel upset is because we then go and align the judgment of ourselves with their judgement.

When we are in control of the way we judge ourselves we are getting free from others and our egos. We increase our power to not get identified.

We Relate to Others Differently When Seen from Different Dimensions - (5801)

Intellectual Dimension

When we see others intellectually, that is from the intellectual dimension, we tend to see them as being logical or illogical expressions, that is, logical or illogical words and actions. It sounds very cold and machine like, but that is how things tend to be and it is inline with the nature of the intellectual centre.

When seeing only logic, it is unavoidable to see people in duality. That is, as either right or wrong, making sense or not making sense, logical or illogical.

As others do not often use their intellectual centre to speak and do, seeing others intellectually often produces an intellectual kind of frustration that eventually leads to a kind of irritation, because of finding it difficult not being able to understand people and their decisions.

The common question is why would someone be illogical? Impossible to understand right from that point of view where everything is logic.

We are often stuck in the intellectual way of seeing others and relate to others most of our life this way.

We can think while in this mode of relating, that is what counts in life - logic and reasons. Because everything works by logic, there is a reason for everyhing and we even may have along the way gotten use to getting things to work in our favour using technical logical arguments.

However, human beings are mostly driven by emotions, by feelings. Feelings are always the most powerful driving force in a human being. So to be seeing a human being only illectually is to only see a part of the human being. The part which often does not make sense.

We can see others from an emotional dimension, and when we do others will make much more sense. Becasue we all live mostly emotionally. It is the most powerful centre in all of us.

Emotional Dimension

Seeing others from an emotional dimension is much more natural and makes it easier and more natural to understand others.

We understand that others just want to feel happy, avoid drama and difficulty in their life. Plus we are mostly all in favour of ourselves, if not in love with ourselves, and that is the place from where we decide, speak and do things, mostly or partly favouring our interests, which is normal.

Seeing others emotionally we want them to be happy and joyful, seeing others intellectually we want them to conform and to be logical and correct.

Intellectually we often limit the expression of emotion of others because we don't understand,  it's illogical to our intelect, consequently we only allow our emotion to express, because it is logical when we do...

The emotional centre in all of us is much stronger and often we decide emotionally. Which is often illogical to the intellect but logical to serve one's emotional interests.

We can't understand why someone says they are interested and then not at all show it for example. Intellectually, it is difficult to understand but emotionally it is easy - their emotions changed they didn't really feel like it anymore.

Emotional undestanding is much for flexible, open and closer to reality. Remembering that our reality is our emotion.

Other Dimensions

We can see others from an essence dimension.

We can see others from the dimension of the Monad.

I won't say much about how things are when we see others. When we start to see others through all three brains we can start to see others from the essence dimension. Why? Because we are closer to our own essence.

Three Kinds of Word - (5802)

The three types of word are:

1.) the spoken word
2.) the written word
3.) the silent word

It is not only important to know about the three types of word but when to use each type of word.

Some things are better spoken about then written about, and for some other things it is better to write than speak. Some things it is best to keep quiet about and not speak or write...

The one thing that it is not applicable to use one kind of word all the time. This leads us to great imbalance. Just as if we were to use one centre all the time we would be end up being a menace and very unbalanced and very difficult to relate to.

All the daily experiences of life are training experiments for us to know about the power of each type of word and to learn which type of word is best suited for which situation.

The silent word also includes the word spoken in our mind that people mostly do not hear. Sometimes people perceive our internal word through our atmosphere/mood which is a direct result from what we are saying in our mind, or they may observe our body language.

How Critical is the Right Order of Things! - (5794)

Order Related to Balance

It is always critical!

To have balance we need order. The right order will always set up balance.

Imbalance most often comes from the wrong order to start with.

The wrong order can only be sustained before balance is broken for a brief window in all cases, until the right order must come in.

We all bank too heavily on that small window... There are businesses and people that make a living out of that small window.

The wrong order will create imbalance. Imbalance creates inequality and injustice. Inequality and injustice then create suffering.

A vicious cycle then begins... which takes a long time to rise up out of.

Order and the Mind

In popular terms mindset is an order in our mind. The right mindset is the right order.

Balance starts in the mind, therefore the right or wrong order begins in the mind.

When we are more awake we get this order and therefore balance right.

When we are operating from our sleeping consciousness, identified with something other than our true nature, we get the order exactly in the opposite way it needs to be to establish balance.

We can't work on ourselves effectively when operating according to the wrong order of things.

Examples

The horse before the cart. Is the perfect example of the right order.

The Being before life. Or the Being with life. The work before life or the work with life.

Listening before speaking.

Working before deserving.

Working before receiving.

Having before spending.

Internal change before external.

Make a plan before starting. Not start, finish and make a plan.

Live before dying.

Unbalanced before balanced. Lost before found. Fallen before ascended.

Know and comprehend before changing. Instead of changing before knowing or comprehending.

Transmute and continue transmuting before practicing Alchemy.

Intellect, emotion and motor and sex. Instead of sex first then the other centres later.

Conclusion

The wrong order can create instability in our mind. Instability creates worry and fear. Fear soon debilitates us.

The right order creates stability and stability creates strength.

Submit At Least to Truth and Justice - (5799)

It may be absurd to submit our will to someone. Especially if it is not for any kind of payment or superior cause.

We may submit our personal will for love and we may submit our personal will to keep our job and get paid.

What about submitting our pride?

When speaking of pride, it is difficult to submit to anyone. There seems to be an exception. Pride may allow us to submit to someone, only if that makes us, in some kind of way superior.

Normally, it is difficult to submit to another person even when there is reward and or a superior cause. Imagine now, when pride is involved it is almost impossible.

To work effectively on pride, at some point we have to work up the power within us to submit it.

A way that gives us this pwoer is to find a true superior cause. This superior cause must have the following two properties. It must not be personal, meaning it must be above the realm of what is personal and it must have power (noble and divine is best).

This cause could be love, the Divine Being or either Truth Itself and or Justice Itself. Even the cause to dissolve pride is valid...

When it comes to the practical field of really doing it, only Truth and Justice work. When it comes to love and the Divine Being, we may say 'no!' and it is all over, pride wins. One can not so easily say 'no!' to truth or justice, because those powers torment us until we ackowledge them...

When we submit to Truth and Justice we are not submitting to anyone, it looks as though we are but we are not. We are really allowing truth and justice to work within us and to help our consciousness.

To submit to truth and jsutice is to realise and recognise and to both agree and disagree. To agree we see the truth and fairness being presented and align with it consciously with dignity (without 'humiliation'). To disagree is to see the false and the unjust and stand up for both without anger or indignation.

Truth and justice are both inpersonal.

Learning How to Listen Tips - (5798)

Here are some basic tips about listening. They are simple, so simple, we don't ever follow them, yet they make such a huge difference and they really make us to listen consciously as Gnosis teaches us to.

One tip to keep the mind quiet while listening is not to judge. Judging makes us to stop listening and makes our thinking go heavy.

Another tip when listening is to just place attention on what is being said and don't think about what we are going to say next or what our answer will be.

When listening, try to create a space of equality and respect, where all involved do not feel intimidated or disresepcted. This will create an openess where all involved can bring their differences without anyone becoming defensive.

Ask questions instead of interjecting with opinions or interpetations. This helps us to make sure we are hearing correctly.

Run past the speaker what we have understood. This lets the speaker know we are understanding and the speaker is communicating their ideas clearly.

Make the conversation constructive by bringing different angles and insight into the topic.

Let go of 'knowing it all'. When we think 'we know' we very quickly stop listening, and we start listening to ourselves.

Listening is not all the time just about absorbing it is also about being a mirror to reflect ideas off, and to join forces to create something new.

Paradox Sexuality and Consciousness - (5797)

The consciousness works in paradox. When we work with a paradox we are also activating and allowing our consciousness to work. Only a flexible and intelligent awareness (consciousness) can oversee a paradox. The mind always falls confused before a paradox, because it can not entertain two oppopsites at once.

Many people are a paradox and that is why with our mind we just can not understand them.

We need our consciousness to understand people.

A paradox is the opposites in operation working as a whole towards activating consciousness.

A paradox is sexual where the two opposites join forces to produce the law of three, whose result is consciousness.

To listen is a paradox. We need one part of ourselves to be quiet, that is passive, so that the other part that listens can become active. Yet for that part that listens to become active, another part, called will is needed to decide that.

For real listening the mind must turn passive i.e. feminine, and the will being active, must ignite the consciousness to be active. As long as this balance remains there will be true listening.

Impeccable Start - (5796)

The goal of being impeccable is a goal for evey day.

Almost impossible to achieve but that is not the goal, the gaol is to work intensely at it.

This is so important for us to understand.

Because in trying to be impeccable we create a 'perfect personality' and just become identified and preoccupied with appearing or acting impeccably.

To become identified or create another aspect of our personality is not the goal. The goal is to work intensely to be impeccable with self-observation and self-remembering and apply what we discover from that in action and word.

To go closer to an impeccable day we need an impeccable start. The best place always to start with that impeccability is with the strong effort to be impeccable in Self-observation.

We will find that we can more readily be impeccable in self-observation than in action and word. We get better in action and word when our self-observation and alertness improves.

End (5796).

Living Day to Day - (5795)

We ahve heard so many missionaries and even Master Samael himslef living day to day, only having enough money to get through that day and not knowing where the money for tomorrow is going to come from.

For sure it's very uncomfortable for our human part and our mind. It's the realm of the unknown. Especially when we are living this way for a mission, where we know if we were in not in a mission it would be all known.

To live day to day is to live on the edge. Push ourselves into a zone where the mind is not helpful and we only have one option but to live in the moment and to trust the Inner Being and the White Lodge for whom the mission is assisting.

So different to ordinary life where we are there working for ourselves and our family and we have our job doing the same thing everyday. We have some savings and we can project a few years into the future and estimate how much money we will have minus expenses known and unknown. Things are ok and all we need to do is turn the handle of the 'job machine'.

Master Samael described the path as the razor's edge. Meaning there are many circumstances where one lives on the edge.

Living on the edge, day to day, by virtue of a conscious choice to serve a cause greater than ourselves, is an opening for the unknown to enter and help transform us.

See the Truth No Matter Who It's From - (5793)

That is the problem of pride it blocks us from seeing and accepting the truth abut ourselves presented from others.

To get into that block and find out why, is the most important thing.

The 'why' could be a fear of some kind.

Perhaps the fear of becomming subservient. Having to constantly succumb to the power of the truth.

But isn't the truth meant to set us free?

It always does set us free! There are three types of freedom. Freedom in silence, freedom in love and freedom in hatred.

Subservience leads to freedom in hatred. When the person subservient later explodes.

The truth can be used to create resentment or to be used to dissolve the "I". When used to dissolve the "I" it brings freedom in silence and later freedom in love.

Truth is not personal, if one sees a truth others will also see the same truth. We are not acknowledging the person but the impersonal truth that a person can speak.

End (5793).

'Unbalanced' Notes - (5778)

Introduction

This post is a list of some of the things we do when we are psychologically unbalanced.

It is a good 'to fix' list in our work towards the fourth type of man - the balanced man.

Reviewing this list will show us that we can only really be the balanced man through lots of psychological work.

'Unbalanced' to Balanced List

The list below presents the unbalance. It is for us to use as a tool to bring what is unbalanced into balance.

•We say we like balance, in the sense of presenting both sides, yet we tend to one side only. Mostly the negative side.

What we tell others to do we don't or can't do.

We give advice we ahve never followed or don't follow.

We talk more than we do.

We don't tolerate others judging others yet we judge othres and are critical in our own way.

Our own way of things is special and is not the norm standard error. There is always soemthing special about our errors making them not 'errors'.

We can't see the wrong and right in our own statements, positions and decisions. We tend to only see the right.

We only like to talk more thatn listen or we like to listen more than talk. When we talk we don;t really talk and when we listen we don't really listen.

We make others take responsibility while we don't fully take up responsibility for ourselves.

We want love but don't love.

We do to others what we don't like being done to us.

We think we know others well, enough to tell them what they are thinking and feeling yet we don't know ourselves as well as we think.

We judge others and we end up doing what we judged as unfavourable, wrong or incorrect.

The unbalanced person does not know him or herself extensively nor deeply. This is one of the major remedies.

Unbalanced people hold ever so tightly onto points of view and mental positions. The stronger they hold on the more unbalanced they become.

To demand perfection in others while being unaware of one's own imperfections.

Extra Notes

There exists balance between the inward and outward expressions of ourselves.

Balance exists when all three brains are used.

Balance exists when there is stability.

Balance within an activity exists when the right order has been established and actions proceed from that order.

When there is pain, it is a sure sign that there is imbalance somewhere.

Love is able to subliminate and transform one balance into another.

When there is little flexibility in mind and the capacity to transform impressioins is low arriving at balance is very difficult.

An unbalanced person does injustice. The consequences that return after doing injustice are a help to find balance.

When there is imbalance, businesses, enterprises, government systems and whole countries enter into disorder, turmoil and decay.

The paradox is that the way to balance is through imbalance.

To be balanced is to NOT do the opposite of what is right in the moment.

Balance has a relative side to it. What is balance for me is not balance for you. Balance is often relative to one's level of Being.

Imbalance in us manifests as problems, disharmony, illness and suffering.

The universe is in a state of always moning towards balance/equilibrium. If there were perfect balance everything would stand perfectly still.

Our day proceeds towards balance, that is compensating to achieve balance in relation to our chosen reference point.

The reference point is our goal that what is most important to us. The reference point creates the order. That is what comes first and has higher priority is our reference point.

Balance looks diferent depending on our chosen reference point. Because priorities are different.

Order and balance are directly related. From the order/priority flows our balance.

We lose balance when we lack knowledge or our knowledge is incomplete.

Pride is our greatest inner impediment in relation to being balanced and fair.

We all have a relationship to balance and justice. We often don't like true balance or justice we tend to like only our version of balance and justice or the part that favours our interests.

If we embrace balance and justice we can eliminate many defects.

The whole of the doctrine is all about us reclaiming interior balance and justice. That is, for what is truly jujst wiothin us to reclaim its throine.

Fornication or the lack of virility is behind us losing balance. That is what is behind us adopting the order of things contrary to our yearnings and better wisdom.

Some countries are terribly imbalanced and that is why they have so many problems. A country where there are the extremes, such as extreme wealth and poverty, is where there is great injustice.

Imbalance or balanace exists in the centres of the human machine.

Balance or imbalance starts in the intellectual centre.

What is stable is balanced. The most stable structure is the pyramid or a triangle. Balance is the apex of the triangle or pyramid. The thrid eye or the all seeing eye is placed at the apex of a triangle - meaning that balance and justice is the vision of both sides - of all that is below.

Balance and vision are intimately related. The best vison is the vision of all angles which being complete allows a balanced vision. A balanced vision is a correct vision.

One-sided thinking is not balance.

The feeling of balance is stability, peace, harmony, trust, multi-faceted vision and flexibility.

The two lines of life have to be balanced where one keeps most to the vertical and tends as necessary to the horizontal. Another way of balancing them is to approach and engage with the horizontal with the vertical.

Doorway Through Tense Body Part - (5792)

The ego is tension in our body. A knot of energy Master Samael says. When energy is knotted there is automatically tension. When energy flows there is relaxation.

The particular character of the ego's energy knot always reflects in tensing one part of the body more than others. That is why in time when an ego manifests constantly certain particular ailments appear due to this ongoing tension.

If we observe which part tenses we can gain more insight into the nature of that ego. For example, why does anger tense our jaw, fists, neck and head muscles? There are keys there to discover.

From a practical point of view if we can deliberately relax that body part we can relax much more when that ego is wanting to manifest. Therefore with more relaxation we can gain more separation which will help us in the elimination process.

Second and Third States of Consciousness Notes - (5791)

Notes - Second vs Third

The second state of consciousness is called vigil, because that is the main task: to be vigilant always watching consciousness to be it back to reality and the present moment.

In the second state, our consciousness sleeps, dreaming projecting forwards and backwards in time.

In the second state our attention is constantly hooked.

When our attention is hooked for too long we identify with what our attention is placed on.

Once we are identified we become fascinated and once we are fascinated we begin to dream.

When we dream we are hypnotised by the interests of the new identity we have assumed.

When we are hypnotised we are far from reality.

To be aware and awake is to see reality.

Consciousness sees reality. That is one of its main functions. It is light that sees what is, that is, what there is to see.

In the second state we are not responsible, there are many contradictions and we do nto know oursleves.

In the second state of consciousness we do not know what happiness is nor what love is.

In the second state of consciousness we do not know who we are.

Peope livfe most of theri livfges in the second state and often they do not know who they are, and are always in the process of loosing and finding themselves. Always working out what to do next and not knowing if that is the right thing to do or not. Not even knowing what and why they are thinking.

We are not real in the second state of consciousness because most of the time we are not present and we are not psychologically inwardly responsible and continuous. We stray away from ourselves far too often.

When we are in the third state of consciousness we are real and life is much more real.

In the third state, we know ourselves, we know who we are as consciousness and we clearly know what we are doing here (dissove the "I's").

The personality must be passive to enter the third state of consciousness because it is simply the wrong identity. The third state of consciousness is strictly for ourselves as essence and consciousness nothing else.

The third state of consciousness is for the consciousness.

The fourth state of consciousness is for the Inner Being.

In the third state of consciousness there is choice, we can choose love or happiness.

There is NO choice while in the second state, there is little ability to chose love and happiness when external factors are against us.

In the second state love and happiness are as fleeting as the wind and depend upon external factors. While in the third state, one knows what happiness and love are and can chose them when circumstances are not in our favour.

We sometimes in emergency situations enter the third state of consciousness because the personality is shocked into passivity and is fully displacement.

In the third state our attention is cyrstallised in presence.

Consciousness is light and is nuetral.

To enter the third state much energy is needed which has to be accumulated through conscious choice and the continual power of being consciously present.

To awaken one must divide their attention. As soon as we divide our attention, knowing that we are observing ourselves there is an awakening.

Conditioned consciousness is sleeping consciousness.

To Be Superior is Lazy - No Improvement - (5790)

The belief of superiority serves laziness really well. To be 'superior' means that we don't need to change anything we are on top and what is below is what has to change.

It also serves the false belief of not needing to make effort.

In many ways the belief of being 'superior' works in favour of the sleep of our consciousness.

We Accept the Values of the Ego - (5789)

The issue we have initially is that we truly the accept the values of any ego that we have.

The turning point always comes when we stop accepting the values of the ego.

When we are working on any ego and we are struggling with it, we often discover secretly to ourselves that we 'love' the ego.

This 'love' comes from accepting its values.

We ignore this often. In changing that ignorance is the solution. To become aware that we accept the values that the ego presents.

Once we know that we accept them, the next step is to study and accept other values which undo the ego.

For example in pride, we accept the value of superiority or inferiority. Once we know this, it is then to study 'balance' and the 'what is of oursleves' and begin to accept that.

With anger we accept the value of violence, whether it be physical, mental or verbal.

Dharmic Times Create Fond Nostalgia - (5788)

The dhamric moments that we experience now in the present times of our life will in the future become fond feelings of nostalgia.

In fact, nostalgia for the most trivial of things. For example, the stretches of roads driven during dharmic times will register in us as special memories of fond nostalgia.

That is often why when we travel there are certain places, roads, landscapes that call out to us saying: "remember those good moments", and a special kind of dejavu of fondness, freedom and intimate solace will appear within us.

If It Can be Made into a Meditation it is Worth Keeping - (5787)

If we can make an activity of our daily life into a meditation, such as driving, walking, shopping, having a conversation then it is worth while doing.

When we are not able to make it into a meditaton then it could be worth while doing less of it.

Our life is really an opportunity of meditation.

Our life give us the opportunity for the timeless and non-dual state of our consciousness to flow through the dualities of life and the finite time and space of our physical existence. To then expand into a new life beyond the body.

We can make any activity into a mediation, where psychological observation and separation from the subconscious is cultivated.

When we do this, any activity we participate in becomes valuable, both to ourselves and others.

That is the essential work of higher states of consciousness - making each activity into a meditation.

Work Not Acknowledged - (5786)

Our essence grows from our work. It does not ever grow from the acknowledgment of others.

This is the new reference point. Stick closer to our truth that seen with our essence.

Adhere closer to our Inner Being to see the signs of improvement and change.

Take what is useful to improve from the words of others and then forget them.

Continue forward inwardly in silence.

Three Minds Commentary - (5784)

A student during a class recently commented that the three minds for her are:

1.) Sensorial Mind: "The seeing is believing guy".
2.) Intermidate Mind: "The believing guy".
3.) Inner Mind: "The I am". (the real guy and the guy who knows)

Excellent and insightful summary.

These three guys have their uses and must be used by our consciousness in harmony. All three minds have their pros and cons.

We can easily see the limitations of the sensorial and intermediate minds. The inner mind has its con, in the way that what is known through the inner mind can not always be organised and materialised into matter by the sensorial mind.

Stronghold of Pride is the Intellect - (5783)

Pride strengthens and concentrates energy in the intellect, where from there it can attack and counterattack with very strong arguments, that make the personality infallible, justified and unhumiliatable.

We Feel Superior and Special Because We Don't Know Ourselves - (5782)

It is a hugely common thing that we all intimately feel special and somewhat better than others.

True we are unique and therefore special and the Being in each one of us is unique and therefore special.

However that of intimately feeling special and better is a belief and not an experience of the Being Itself within us. "The reason for being of the Being is the same Being.".

The reason why we feel superior and special is because we don't really know ourselves too well.

When we really know oursleves we will see that we are so much like others and that we are one of the same among millions.

When we know ourselves as essence we then experience a bit of that teaching from Eliphas Levi above: "the reason for being of the Being is the same Being" and we know that is not how the essenc and Being in us feels and thinks.

Breath and Realizations - (5781)

Whenever we comprehend or realise something there is a deep inhalation. Whenever there is recognitoin leading to relief, there is a deep exhalation.

There is a deep connection between apprehension of the truth and our breath.

Kether the Father is the Breath of Life and Kether is also the truth.

We affirm life with our first inhalation and we confirm the ending of it with our last exhalation.

We draw a deep sigh when we accept our hardship and we stop breathing when we get a fright - that is we can't accept something.

When we transcend life and enter the illuminating void our breath stops Master Samael says.

The Divine Mother is there when we Comprehend - (5780)

A very wonderful instructor gave a talk on Koradi Radio a few days ago and he said something that really impacted.

He said that when we comprehend something, our Divine Mother is present right in that moment of comprehension. Especially if it is do with an "I" we are working on.

He went on to say that he knows that She is there when we comprehend something.

This for me was marvellous, because I have felt the same, though I was never fully sure.

This is great news when we want to build a connection to our Divine Mother and doubt when is present. We can know that She is present when we are trying to comprehend.

I feel that She really wants us to comprehend the "I" and further more She helps us to comprehend.

We can truly ask for Her help to comprehend something and the help will come in such a natural way that we will tend to overlook it.

She is better than Google...

The 'Idea Of' is Greater than the Feeling - (5779)

Often the idea of something is much greater than the actual experience of it.

The idea of the sensation is often greater than the sensation itself.

The idea of the injection is worse thatn the needle and injection itself.

Our intellectual centre can blow things up out of proportion.

The experience is the real.

From the experience comes the right proportion and new comprehension of what it is.

The idea is the stress and the experience the relief.

When things are glorified by the mind there is disappointment with the experience.

When there is no mind the expereince is better than...

Finding the Essence Simple Method - (5777)

There are truly many different methods to help us realise our essence.

As Gurdjieff said it is often easier to describe what the essence is not than describing what it is.

At the end of the day knowing what the essence boils down to an experience. We know what it is through our own experience of it.

We can have a good idea of what it is, without hte experience of it we don't fully know,

This simple method leads us into our own personal experience of our essence.

We have to start by looking at ourselves becasue our essence is us and is inisde of us.

We start by looking at our personality, seeing that we are more than our body, our culture, our upbringing, our job and the different roles that we play in life: father, mother, manager, citizen, commitee member, community support workjer etc. etc.

Then we see that we are not our emotions, nor our thoughts as they come and go. Then what is left thta we can call ourselves? Our essence. Which is a space of awareness, witnessing our life's circumstances, events and inner processes.

Within that space emerges universal, timeless qualities...

That is also us, that is also our essence.

When we experience this, that is when we feel the awareness and inner space we have experienced our essence.

Then bit by bit through huge efforts of remembering we can shed other partially true identies and take up for real the one always true ever constant and permanent identity - which is our essence.

Person in Front: Reality, Person Away: Concept - (5776)

When we have a person sitting right there in front of us we see their reality as much as we are capable of.

When we don't have the same preson sitting right there in front of us we relate to them via the concept/s we have of them and their apparent behaviour.

When relating to the person via concepts, the same concepts connect to some egos we have in our subconscious that then add ill-will (usually) into the thoughts we have about the person.

The truer feeling and concept of a person is when we have them sitting right there in front of us.

We are usually kinder to the person when they are sitting right there in front of us.

Dealing with Recurrent States Method - (5775)

Introduction

We all at some time or another experience internal states that are unpleasant and repeat again and again.

There is something definite to learn from these recurrences. They really hold a message for us, they really have something to tell us.

We can learn their lesson when we pay a lot of attention to them and above all we try really hard to find out why we are using those recurrent states for, and what pay back are they giving us.

Being honest they are recurrent because we are using them for something, that is to get something, to avoid something... For some reason the subconscious part of ourselves sees them as useful.

We all repeat something because we see it useful or giving us something, or either we are trapped and don't have any better alternative to get something done.

Working Method

Use the three brains sequence.

Observe, analyse and understand with the intellect as much as we can.

Stop there and then feel the opposite of that state or feel the opposite of the way the ego feels in our emotional centre..

Then wait until the opportunity arises to do the opposite of what the ego in question does in the recurrent state. Do the opposite as much as we can manage, which may not be much in the beginning but the effort counts for everything.

Then take the light we get from doing the opposite back to the intellect and build the comprehension.

Then repeat the sequence until the the comprehension enters the motor centre and the recurrence stops.

The hidden lesson of the reccurent states is only learnt once we have learned it in our three brains.
