Where Does Evil Begin (143)

Believe it or not!

Believe it or not evil begins in our sexuality. When go to one side of duality in relation to our sexual energy we initiate the beginning of evil.

Duality – Cause of Good and Evil

Good and evil are certainly duality, it seems that they are the first manifestation of duality. Good and evil are opposites and really they are derived from the sexual poles which according to Gnosis were the first manifestation of the opposite poles or in other words duality. So, in summary the first instance in the creation of duality, the opposites came through, or were expressed by sex, male and female. So, in sex we have the first holder of duality.

Depending on our Use

So then depending on our use of sexuality or the sexual energy, if we polarised ourselves with one side we would get one result. If we were to polarise ourselves with the negative use of the sexual energy the side, we would end up falling into evil or into the nature of that side of the sexuality (negative side).

The sexual energy is also very dual in its direction of travel or flow. It either goes inwards and up or downwards and out. Evil really begins when we choose the downward and out flow of the sexual energy. This plummets us into degeneration and throws us away from the Being, away from the light and into darkness.

Ill-Will

Because we chose the normal sexuality which is to lose the sexual energy we end up removing the Being from us, because the Being is in our sexuality energy, and we are removing him from our system and then go into evil and evil is characterised by ill-will. So then the loss of the sexual energy goes against our Being and it is ill-will. So ill-will or evil starts with the bad use for the sexual force.

Conclusion

So here it is the first way that we are thrown away from the Being and are denied entrance into the absolute or the garden of Eden (paradise), it is through sex, if we ejaculate the sexual energy we are given very bitter lessons about evil. We in fact fall into evil, why you may ask because the sexual energy transmuted enhances our selves and allows us to stand straight and not fear. But when it is lost we go far from the Being and it takes a hile for iur consciousness to catch up.

To not fall into evil, we need to transmute a lot and remove the psychic aggregates lost in our psyche.

The Tree of the Science of Good and Evil (142)

An Ominous Name

The tree of the science of good and evil is certainly ominous. It brings to mind the apple tree and the tempting serpent from the biblical scenario of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It brings to mind with some trepidation actually the fall of the human being and the human being and the exile from paradise (the Absolute).

Certainly from a Gnostic perspective the tree of the Science of Good and Evil is really this tree. This tree that holds the knowledge of evil and the knowledge of good, therefore holding the knowledge whereby the human being may to fall into evil, and the keys whereby the human being may ascend towards the heavens. The potential for great good and great evil are contained both within this strange and foreboding tree of duality.

What is this Tree? Is it Symbolic?

This tree actually being the fantastic manifestation of duality is symbolic and in fact this tree is to be found in every human being here and now.

The tree of the Science of Good and Evil is to be found says Gnosis in no other place than in our sexual organs, then in our sexual energy and in our sexuality.

Conclusion

Within sex is the beginning of evil and eh start of good. The great battle over the human being is in sex. Through sex Gnosis says the human being falls and degenerates or regenerates and enters once again into the kingdom of heaven or paradise through the same door through which it left, this door is sex.

Gnosis is about GIVING not Receiving! (141)

The Situation in Gnosis

If we understand Gnosis well, we will come to the conclusion that Gnosis is not about us receiving and being pampered but about us giving and serving. This if I am honest is more what the real situation in Gnosis is about.

A Wise Man

A very wise man once said about Gnosis, that he came to Gnosis to pay, as this wonderful and wise man understood that everyone comes to Gnosis with a lot of karma, some more than others of course, but in general, we all have heaps to pay and Gnosis is a very marvellous way to cancel all the karmic debts that we have.

Don’t Expect to be Pampered

If we come to Gnosis expecting to be pampered, not to contribute financially and to receive praises about everything we are getting it pretty wrong and to put it bluntly we will suffer.

Giving = Merits – No Other Way!

Only in giving can we acquire merits and come to die psychologically and therefore change for eh better. A person who is always receiving will one day stop receiving and if he or she has become accustomed to it they will suffer.

What About Learning to Give?

It is true that we have to learn how to receive but it is always better business and spiritual business to be on the side of giving rather than receiving. When I mean giving I mean giving of our virtues and service or help. Not giving the ego but rather sacrificing the ego for the benefit of others and our Being.

Conclusion

If you follow this simple rule and live by it and make it your attitude to everything in life you will really prosper and make headway in your work spiritual endeavours.

Why We Shouldn’t Move Between Gnostic Centres (140)

Difficult – Why Not to Move between Centres?

This is a very difficult subject actually and that is the reason why I am writing this post, in the hope to shed some light on the subject and make the issue much more understandable.

You know I have seen many students really upset over this issue, and instructors as well. The better the students understand the issue the less problems will arise for both the students and the instructors.

One Line – One Dynamic

The main reason why moving between Gnostic centres is not really so constructive is because we are not taking or following one line. Yes the core of the teachings is the same, but every Gnostic centre has its own dynamic and rhythm.

When we move between centres we partake of both dynamics and rhythms and what usually happens in us is that because we compare those two different dynamics and rhythms don’t synchronise but they clash and that clash is not really productive for us. It actually harms us. We find it difficult to concentrate and dedicate ourselves to the work that is going on in each centre. Even we can quite easily overload ourselves and in so doing we end up doing nothing. Every centre has its tasks and works and taking on the tasks of each centre is overloading ourselves we don’t do any of the task well.

Choosing one line and one dynamic allows us to concentrate and to dedicate ourselves to the goal of the tasks or work being followed in the centre.

Choose One

We as students are free to choose a centre but the best is to choose one centre in which you feel comfortable with the instructor and whom you trust and whom you like the dynamic and the task and the end result or goals of the tasks.

It is then just a simple matter of dedicating yourself to the work of the tasks and the activities of the centre. You can relax and work. No more comparing, gossiping and feeling disappointed just work!

Retreats

If you miss your friends from the other centres you can always see them in the retreats, which are events in which many groups from many Gnostic centres come together to work on a series of common practices that are for all the retreat attendees.

Conclusion

This has been a very short post, and I hope it sheds some light on the subject. In the end choosing one of anything simplifies our life and allows dedication, concentration, peace, loyalty and results - which is happiness.

Ask yourself have you met anyone who jumps constantly between centres that is happy and is getting results in their work?

Or put yourselves in the shoes of your instructor and see the students who jump between centres what would you think? Anyway from experience I have seen many students who jump between centres eventually chose and find happiness where they end up.

Oh Poseidon! Oh Neptune!

Oh Poseidon whom the ancient Greeks knew you by! Oh Neptune whom the ancient Romans knew you by. Even if the ancient times have now long passed, today you who still exist, you are the force and life of our oceans, seas and rivers.

You are Life!

You provide us with much food, you continue to give us food despite our irresponsibility, our greed and our negligent pollution. You are in the waters of the Earth and as there is much water in us you are in us as well. You are a primordial God, a special God, without you we would not have life, water is life and you are the God of water. Our water comes from you, by evaporation, our cooling rains that cool the sun parched earth and the rain that makes our crops to grow comes from you. You are one of the axes upon which the life of our planets rests.

Regent of Earth’s Waters

You must know Melchizadek , the regent of our marvellous planet. You must work in unison, what you know he must know. Your love and forgiveness is boundless, you keep giving to us despite our greed, our plundering of your resources, and despite our negligence polluting and leaving all sorts of refuse in you.

You are the regent of the primordial waters of life of our planet. In you is creative potential, as the spermatic waters of our planet, you must know all about the planet as the blueprint for the planet is its waters.

Source of Prana and Vastness

Your creatures are full of prana, in you is great creative potency, in you is great potential. You have the powers of creation and in you is the power to modify the planet and us as well. You have the dominion of the dimensions of nature. You at night are special you are like the absolute, the great bosom of creation stretching all the way out beyond the horizon, you are a mystery and to gaze far out to sea is like to contemplate mystery, to bring limitlessness to our psyche and to remember the vastness of God our creator and our Lord and Father.

You are Not Forgotten

You have not been forgotten, well in this corner of the world anyhow, many times I have gone to face the Indian Ocean, yearning for the chance one day to know you, for the mystical opportunity that I know does not come around twice in life. But anyway, the still remote glimmer of hope that maybe true one day - that I could know you as the ancient Greeks did, invoking you from a cliff’s edge facing a stormy Agean sea. With you appearing majestic and powerful with your trident and crown addressing the sincere invoker as to what he or she wanted of you!

Courage

Courage is your virtue to meet you, to sail your seas all those who do it do it with courage to engage, for to engage with you is to risk our life, that is why you were depicted by the ancient Greeks as infinitely strong and powerful, a giant with bulging muscles, as a formidable God with tremendous strength and power, a warrior Lord of the seas, whom none dare enter your domain without fearing for their life.

Mystery

You hold under your seas and oceans many mysteries, oh what creatures of the deep exist and what are the mysteries that lie beneath your waters. Long lost wrecks carrying precious cargo that were lost at sea, in you are many answers to the mysteries of the earth that many men have pondered answers to.

In you is the answer to the missing Malayasian airlines flight MH370. Under your watery coat are the ruins of ancient cities and the keys to our past. The keys to who we are. You know us so well oh Divine God of the seas and oceans. You have watched us over us for millennia, even you have swallowed our past major races.

Fourth Dimension

You have the power to take our bodies into the fourth diemensions of nature.

Wrath

Your wrath is known to us as well, may ships and planes found their last days in you. Maybe they had it coming, maybe it was their destiny forged in ancient times or in times gone by. Maybe it was their negligence but many have been miraculously taken care of by you and have survived incredibly. I am sure the balance of lies saved versus lives taken lies in your favour, on the side of your love and compassion for us.

Final Word

Oh great Neptune, may you hear my ode, my attempt to understand your mystery, may it be an offering to you, to turn your ear towards my prayers.

The Correct Attitude Before the Law (138)

The Power of the Divine Law

The power of the Divine Law, the esoteric body of Divine Beings that administer cosmic justice is immense. The Divine Law has power of our life and our death. There is nothing in our life and in our mind that the Divine Law does not govern. Nothing can be hidden from the Divine Law, everything about us and within us is known to them.

This very fact about their power should and must inspire respect and a certain wariness in us. It is really absurd that we feel defiant, arrogant and disrespectful in front of them. Absurd!

Our life is in their hands and the truth is that each one of us owes the Divine Law many payments, we are in fact indebted to the Divine Law.

Love the Law

We may of course fear the law and therefore (what we fear we hate) hate or despise the law or even resent the law but, believe me, not one of those attitudes helps!

The best attitude I have found is to love the law and to work with the law openly, honestly (they know everything anyway) and unreservedly with co-operation. They are intelligent Divine Beings that administer the cosmic law and to declare our mistakes and take responsibility for them, accept the punishment and work to cancel the debt is marvellous.

The reason why we hate the law has a large part to do with us not taking responsibility for our errors, mistakes and wrong doings. We think wrongly of course that law is against and is punishing us. But it is not the law it is ourselves.

The Law does NOT Punish Us it is Us that Punishes Ourselves.

We have no reason to resent the Law, because after all it is ourselves that make the mistakes and cause or bring about our karma or the punishment for our mistake. It is not Anubis for example hitting us, it is ourselves hitting ourselves.

Conclusion

I honestly think and this is the way that I do things with the Divine Law is to first of all consider them as my friends and that they are on my side, even if I have a karma to pay. Our karma can be paid with some negotiation and we never know how merciful the Divine Law has been with us. They may have saved us from some horrible suffering, for example they may have delayed some suffering knowing that we are working spiritually and that we will be able to cancel this karma working on ourselves.

What to do After Making a Mistake? (137)

Introduction

There are several answers to this question, and each answer depends from what perspective you are looking at it from. In this post we are going to answer this question from the Gnostic point of view.

After a Mistake

From the Gnostic perspective or esoteric spiritual perspective, after we have made a mistake the best thing to do is to act quickly in the following directions:

First Thing To Do

Recognise that we made a mistake. Become fully aware of the gravity of the mistake. Know why and how we made the mistake. Know what ego lead you to make that mistake.

Second Thing To Do

Take full responsibility for the mistake. Be fully willing to pay the consequences, i.e. the karma.

Third Thing To Do

Beg pardon from the Divine Mother.

Fourth Thing To Do

Do a very strong petition with the Divinities from the Tribunal of the Divine Law (Lords of Karma), begging them for a chance to dissolve the ego that caused the mistake and beg them for the chance to wash away the mistake and show them that you take full responsibility, and that you do not want to make that mistake again. Express your gratitude!

Beg them also that you may get back to where you were before the mistake.

Fourth Thing To Do

Get up and fight to dissolve the cause of the mistake.

Fifth Thing To Do

Fight even harder to get back to where you were before you made the mistake.

Sixth Thing To Do

Resolve with full determination to never to make that mistake again. That is resolve yourself to die. Renounce the defect or egos that lead you to make that mistake. Understand that that ego is wrong.

You have a marvellous opportunity here to understand how the ego is wrong and that it should die.

Seventh Thing To Do

Die in that ego at least up to the point that you have enough will, comprehension and light in you to send the ego that caused the error far away from your human machine when it comes next.

Conclusion

The key here is to repent and to act quickly! Our beloved Master Samael Aun Weor said in his book “Yes There is Hell, a Devil and Karma” that the door of repentance is always open and there is much more joy amongst the masters of the white lodge when a sinner repents than when does a saint.

Just don’t forget that, and just don’t stop fighting! Don’t get down and go over why you did it and how you shouldn’t have, forget that, get up and die mystically, change, that is really the best medicine. Because this way you are going toward your Being, when you are crying over how it could have been different you are still far from the Being!

Give these steps a try they really help you! The best remedy of course is not to make mistakes!

Why Do We in Gnosis Ask for Donations (136)

Gnosis is Free

Essentially the knowledge of the consciousness, common to all humankind should be free, the knowledge to set everyone free should be free and is in reality free. It is only man that thinks it should have a cost.

This knowledge exists in the cosmos and has always existed from the very instant there was creation. This knowledge by which we can come to know ourselves at our deepest roots has been made available to us by the omnimerciful one, which is present for every living creature without exception. The cosmos does not charge money for this knowledge, it however may require that you wish for it and that you make sacrifices for it but there is no charge of $100, $1000, $100,000 or $1,000,000.

Donations Sign of Valuing the Teachings

Usually donations come naturally from the students. This usually happens when a student sees value in the teachings. As soon as the student applies the teachings and attains results the teachings have for the student a value, which he or she associates with some sort of monetary value.

Also a feeling that one has received a lot and now it is time to give back arise naturally in the student and among the many ways to give back, giving a donation forms part of that.

Why Do We Ask for Donations?

We do ask for donations because these teachings do have a great value and by asking for a voluntary donation it is a way for students to come to value and respect the teachings. Students usually agree because they see that the teachings have valuable, the ones that get upset with having to donate usually don’t value the teachings and end up leaving anyway. As an exception to these two cases there are are those that get upset having to donate because in their thinking they are either the kind of student that likes everything for free or the student that thinks there should be no donations for something spiritual.

Asking for a donate shows others that we respect the teachings and it stops them from trampling all over the teachings, we really should not let that happen.

Donations Help for the Great Cause

The donations that students give help the Gnostic centre to keep moving and going and bringing new students, so the donations that students give, are used to maintain the effort of the Gnostic centre that the student belongs to keep itself open and functioning, and therefore serving as an instrument for the Great Cause of the Father, which is to help all the human beings without distinction to get their self-realization.

Donations are Voluntary

The donations that we ask for are completely voluntarily, that is, depending on certain circumstances one may not be able to temporarily donate and this is fine of course. However the amount that one donates if set completely voluntarily.

No discrimination is made between students that can donate and students that can’t donate.

Donations are not Excessive at All!

Donations are always what you can afford. No excessive limit is put on them.

Conclusion

I hope that this short post has helped you to make it clear why donations are a necessary or important part of going to a spiritual school. They essentially keep the school running and open for others who came like yourself that many years ago.

Seeing how Gnosis changed your life for the better see that the same can happen to another just by your donations keeping the school open.

Dark Night of the Soul (135)

What is it?

Master Samael described it as situation or a very difficult state where the initiate is in a process of transition between darkness and light or in other words between the ego and the consciousness.

The initiate has at the point of passing through the dark night of the soul a certain degree of awakening of the consciousness yet the initiate still has a large degree of ego, i.e. there is still sizable amounts of both light and darkness within the initiate.

This equal or nearly equal amount of light and darkness in the initiate is the problem, this undefined amorphous mixture within the person brings the dark night of the soul upon the person. The person is not accepted by the white lodge nor is the person accepted by the black lodge the initiate is somewhere in between abandoned by both sides. Typically the initiate feels very lonely and with force, that is without the force that comes from the Being and without the force that comes from being dedicated to the ego.

A Stage of the Path

The dark night of the soul is really the stage on the path where a balance is being processed, that is where the light has to come to win over the darkness and where the must come to stand as the dominant factor within the person. In short, the dark night of eh soul is there to tip the inner scales of the person toward the light.

For this to happen all the egos of materialism, pleasure and in general the egos related to earthly matters (i.e. the egos that tie one to the matter and darkness) must come out in the person for the person to work on and learn to defeat and once defeating them, extract the light from them to increase the amount of light or consciousness in the person.

That is why Master Samael said that usually in the dark night of the soul the initiates experience sexual failure, depression and other various other defects in a very intensely manner. In the dark night of the soul the defect of lust comes out in the person very intensely because it has to be worked upon and conquered and then dissolved. It also ties one to darkness and matter (also the abyss).

Why of the Dark Night

The dark night of the soul is obviously something very karmic, perhaps some initiates do not go through it for a lengthy period of time while others go through a very long and intense period of it. The dark night of the soul could certainly be used to pay karma as the initiate really suffers a great deal, especially morally.

It could also be due to the particular egoic structure of the person and it may well be the will of eh Being for the initiate to pass through a purification period which the dark night of the soul is really.

Perhaps also some initiates are able to develop their light very quickly and easily eclipse the darkness in them and so their dark night is minimal. It all depends on every particular case.

Conclusion

Master Samael said that the best way to pass through it is to give oneself to meditation in order to experience the Being and to contemplate the qualities of the soul and to get lost in that knowing of the soul. Pray, contemplate and meditate to polarise oneself as much as possible with the light. That is Master Samael’s advice.

The dark night of the soul could appear in the years of Job and perhaps during the fifth initiation where a great definition takes place within the person. Or it could even appear in a very minor octave in the minor initiations.

When it is Lust and When it is Not! (134)

When it is Lust!

It is lust when we engage in sexuality, even in thought and emotion and we do not have love, respect, care, consideration etc. within us. I tis also lust when we are trapped in or are only focussed on sensation, senses and matter. These four major indicators: devoid of love, care, respect etc., senses, sensations and matter are sure signs that lust is in our human machine.

Lust always, always refocusses sexuality into these bottles or conditioners.

When it is not Lust!

We usually think that no sexuality or no sex or abstinence is no lust. That is true to some degree but there can always be a heavy amount of lust in our mind.

The general indication as to know when it is not lust is when there is sexuality and there is love and the main focus is spirituality or a spiritual purpose above senses, sensations and matter. Or there is of course no sexuality and the mind and emotions are completely clear.

Conclusion

Use these indications to know when lust is in your human machine. Be honest with yourself and you will always be able to tell.

Separate Lust from Sex (133)

When it is Lust!

It is lust when we engage in sexuality, even in thought and emotion and we do not have love, respect, care, consideration etc. within us. It is also lust when we are trapped in or are only focused on sensation, senses and matter. Separate Lust from Sex

So in the case where we have sexuality but no lust we have to separate lust from sex. We think that they are the same thing but they are not. Lust and sex are very different. Lust uses sex but sex itself has nothing to do with lust.

So if this separation is made, there can be pure sexuality without lust. Lust always diverts sexuality into the senses, sensations and matter. It always refocuses sexuality into these bottles or conditioners.

Sex is Itself Free from Lust

Sex is the means of by which creation happens, I really don’; think the creators that gave this creative power to men, animals and the plants meant for lust to be created. Lust is not creative, it sabotages the creative force and ruins it, lust destroys actually. Sex is a great creative power and is the life force of the Being and is also one’s life energy and vitality which has nothing to do with lust. In fact when one works on lust one’s vitality and energy increases dramatically.

Conclusion

It is very advantageous to make this separation within oneself so that we can start to use our sexual force without the interference of lust and we can come to open the door of the sexual mysteries that unfortunately human beings due to lust know nothing about at all!

The Ego is in our Genes (132)

Surprising at First but Makes Sense!

To someone who has worked on the ego for a while, this statement that the ego is in our genes becomes ever-so gradually more apparent, especially in relation to some egos. It is not so apparent in all the egos but in some, in the rather large ones that we have it can be quite apparent.

Parents

If you have the luck of having your parents still with you, you can by observation really come to verify this statement.

The theory goes in Gnosis that the egos that we have, have a genetic component to them. We actually inherit in our egos certain characteristics that are present in the egos of our parents. This is even true when it comes to our personality. Our personality has many traits or characteristics that come directly from our parents.

This does not apply to every characteristic in us, it only seems to apply to some of our personality traits. Mind you environment and impressions builds our personality and much of our environment that we are brought up in, is strongly coloured by our parent’s personality and egos.

Some Egos

It can happen that some of the egos we have, repeat or strongly wish to repeat the dramas and mistakes that our parents have made. In a way the more we know about the egos of our parents the more we can get to know the future desires of the egos that we have. Mind you, this does not apply to every ego that we have, only very particular ones, such as lust, anger, pride, self-love etc.

Conclusion

In our genes are the genes are of our parents and in our genes are certain characteristics that are also in our egos. By careful observation of our egos and the egos of our parents we can verify this, by noting the similarities between their egos and ours.

So then, our Divine Mother has a great work to do when we work in the elimination of eh ego, she has to work within our genes to eliminate the ego from within our genes. So then in conclusion, the work of the dissolution of the ego modifies our genetic structure and therefore our very own biology.

Which Factor Pays the Most of the Three? (131)

Mystical Death the First Factor Pays the Most!

A really good question is, which factor should we concentrate on? Some say the third because it gives all the merits that we need to progress in the second and in the third and some say the first.

In this post we ar saying that the first is the one that pays the most.

A Master Investigated

I heard a recording in Spanish where a Venerable Master, A Master that I honestly respect a lot, a master whose inner Being is a judge of the Divine Law, said that after an investigation carried out in the internal worlds he concluded that the factor that pays the most in the first.

Makes Sense – Mystical Death Pays the Most

It makes sense because it is the cause of our karma and when we die we change causes and acquire merits and in truth we are fundamentally different in our nature and when we die we can do, and we are. With mystical death the other two factors: transmutation and sacrifice for humanity are easy.

Conclusion

Devote more our time and efforts into the work of mystical death!

Transmutation – Benevolence with Your Inner Divinity (130)

How can We Be Benevolent with Our Inner Divinity?

We often wish that our inner Divinity is benevolent with us. In fact we all like being in benevolence and especially receiving benevolence. What about being benevolent with our inner Divinity?

Most of the time we feel upset and complain in our mind or even out loud, when we are not given the things that we feel that our inner Divinity should provide us with. In short we only really think about receiving and very rarely do we think about giving back to our inner Divinity.

Well the good news is that we can give back to our inner Divinity in a huge number of ways, and one  of the two best ways is transmutation. The other of the two best ways just for your information is dying in yourself. So, we’ll see why transmutation is one of the best ways in the next section below.

Be Benevolent with our Inner Divinity by Transmuting

When we transmute we are providing our inner Divinity with energy, that speaking specifically our Divine Mother can use for the work of the Being, which is the work of the Being realising itself.

The more energy we make available for the Divine Mother to use, the more benevolent we are with our inner Divinity because they are happy because they have the necessary resources or ingredients to complete their work with.

The more we transmute the better a provider we are, the more tools, resources and material we give to our inner Divinity so that it can pay karma and it can use to dissolve the ego in us and build the solar bodies or clean the bodies or raise the Divine fire in us.

Mystical Death is Important Too!

We have to transmute and die at the same time, we have to transmute and ask the Divine Mother to use that transmuted energy to dissolve the ego. Because the ego in us can steal that energy by using it up in its useless manifestations. The more we die, the more also we are able to free our inner Divinity from karma and from the chains and limitations that our conditioned imposes on them.

Whatever has a Beginning has an End

There is a principle in Gnosis that says whatever has a beginning also has an end. So any ego or any sort of creation will have an end one day, because it had a beginning at some point.

This is why the ego of lust we have will have an end one day, either due to our voluntary efforts or the result of the efforts of nature working involuntarily on us.

It is important to say here that the Being in us, the divine, immortal and universal presence has never had a beginning and so will never have and end. You as a spiritual Being or as a soul cannot be lost! But your egos which are creations, wrong ones at that will one day be dissolved and have their end.

Its Days are Limited

As with any ego, lust is limited, its days are numbered, one day somehow it is going to cease, it is going to disappear, it is going to weaken and die. This is a certain truth. The only thing is that that may take a long time, longer than the duration of our life.

But as your body weakens the ego of lust will recede from the body as there is less and less energy for it to sabotage and use for its purposes. It most likely will live on in our minds.

Old Age

As our body gets older the ego of lust tries desperately to get its last sensations before it will no longer be able to too. So in the person getting somewhat older the ego of lust can be strong and impel the person to not act their age. This type of behaviour where an aging lady dresses with a mini skirt and high boots or an aging man buys a sports car and dresses up going to bars, pubs and clubs etc.is produced by the ego of lust, in a last ditch attempt to enjoy some sexual type of sensations before it is too late and it will no longer be able to.

The Path or Spirituality

Let’s be frank here, we can’t really walk a spiritual path while having lust. We have to eliminate it one day for us to be able to progress on a spiritual path. If we don’t eliminate it one day and we continue to walk on a spiritual path it will cause us a lot of grief, guaranteed. It has to be weakened in proportion to the amount in which we walk or progress on the spiritual path.

It will die one day by our own hand or by nature’s that is for sure. In fact, lust has to die one day all because we actually don’t need it. The problem is always we don’t want to eliminate it and we think that we need it.

Why Not Dissolve it Now?

If lust is going to die one day by the hand of nature or we are going to have to eliminate it because we are not going to leave the spiritual path, then why not go and eliminate it now, that is why not start working on eliminating it right here and now.

Conclusion

Let’s work on lust to dissolve it, why not do this work now, make the efforts to dissolve it now. We have to transmute and we have to detach from the mental cravings which is really lust and which direct the sexual energy into lustful activities.

If this post does not really make sense to you or it does make sense but it does not make you anymore powerful or inspired to dissolve lust reread it several times and think about it deeply trying to understand this truth at a deeper level within you. Why it is Called Sexual Energy? (128)

What is the Sexual Energy?

To be very plain and clear the sexual energy in the human being is the reservoir of energy in the body that is used to function sexually.

If that reservoir is empty then the person can not operate sexually.

Sexual Energy as Substance

In the human being the sexual energy is very special it is actually a magical substance and that substance is in men the semen and in women, well I’m not exactly sure but it follows the same principle in that it is a magical semi liquid semi solid substance.

I say magical because it is the only thing in the body that is a substance and an energy as well. It is very hard to locate movement energy or thinking energy or feeling energy as a substance in our body.

In Men and Women

Because there seems in medicine not ot be  name for the substamce that is the sexual energy of a women sexual energy has been often referred to as just semen. But as many women point out that is one sided it only takes men into account. So for this reason we prefer to use the term sexual energy which covers both men and women.

Conclusion

Sexual energy is the best and most refined and also the most powerful energy or substance in the body. By Einstein’s E=mc2 law, energy and mass are interchangeable. It is also the seed of the human being so in it is all the intelligence that creates us and in it are all the secrets of our origin and also in it are all our characteristics.

Whatever you do treasure your sexual energy don’t waste it, transmute that is absolute very best that you can do with your sexual energy.

Why of the Crisis and the Heart? (127)

Why do we have a Crisis?

Sometimes we pass through a crisis and the reason why we pass through it, it seems, is to first find out what is in our heart and then define our heart.

Typically these crises are to do with definition and we usually end up in such a crisis because we have been harbouring a contradictory attitude for too long and we have wound up at a very critical point. A very apt name for this critical point is a point of definition.

Point of Definition

We usually reach a point of definition in our relationship to something. Typically in our relationship to our spiritual work, even to our physical work and of course in human relationships.

Why of a Definition Point

The definition point is characterised as being a point where we can no longer progress in our relationship while still having a contradictory attitudes, thoughts, feelings and actions. We feel that we can no longer sit on the fence having a foot in both sides. Ando so the inevitable appears, a choice, we have to choose a side and this can be painful. The more we are attached to our contradictory attitude the more painful such a choice will be.

If we are always one, that is a unity inside of ourselves in relation to something we will never pass through such a crisis.

What is in our Heart

A crisis of definition brings out what we have inside of ourselves in the positive and in the negative. We see all that we have, for example in our heart in relation to a particular goal and we see what we have against it or all that we value that is the opposite of that goal.

The crisis brings the ‘good’ values that agree and the ‘bad’ values that disagree into balance or onto the scales. There we see clearly that we are lacking or that we just need a little push and the negative values will be defeated.

Define Your Heart

Once we have seen our values on the scales, we can act. We can define our heart. Even if our values for the goal are so low we can still have that goal in our heart and so we revaluate our situation and decide against for that goal and fight and keep fighting, or we could just give up saying it is too hard. We can choose, or we may see that our values for the goal outweigh the contradictory negative values, then that new awareness will solve the crisis naturally and effortlessly and we won’t even have to make a decision.

Conclusion

We can avoid these crises of definition by working quickly on any contradictory attitudes or values that appear in us. The more we are a unity (the less contradictions) in our relationship to something the further these crises are from us. Solve any contradictions that you have as quickly as possible and of course if the relationship is in your heart it is part of you and you won’t be able to be different than it or separate from it.

The marvellous thing about the heart is that it unifies us with something! How marvellous. We can not consider unity without looking into the heart.

All the tests that we pass through are to access our degree of unity with our which for the Gnostic is the esoteric path or it could be something else, a cause etc.

Crisis

Sometimes we pass through a crisis, and it seems that the secret reason of that crisis, is to first find out what is in our heart, and then later to define our heart for what we have discovered is in it.

The question comes to us in such a crisis, are these spiritual studies really in my heart? Do I really want to keep going? Is there a point to it all? Others are progressing and I’m here stuck!

Scary

The crisis can be quite scary we can feel that we have nothing in our heart and we can even become disorientated and not know why we are persisting with these spiritual studies.

Pleasing the Ego for Too Long

Sometimes this comes about because we have spent a too longer period of time being insincere, that is not really trying to progress and just giving way to the ego. When we should have really not gone that far into pleasing the ego, we should have stopped it before time.

Allowing ourselves to please an ego for too long leads us to feel that we can’t defeat it and that we are it and we should give up the fight and just become it.

When we please the ego for too long it gets to take up more space in us and we run the risk of falling into a crisis or a battle where our inner nature demands that this battle be solved. Such a battle stagnates us and leaves us vague and ambivalent. We have to solve this situation, by coming to a state of balance, to a state of inner peace, where this battle is over.

Remedying the Situation

This situation is really easy to solve we just have to sacrifice the ego. Well easier said than done.

We feel that we are in crisis because we are not doing anything, because we are not working as we would work if we had our self-realisation in our heart. When something is in our heart we are unstoppable. Nothing can stop us, no obstacle from within or without can stop us. We will find a way through or around any obstacle. The big battle is always to get things into our heart.

Conclusion

The conclusion here is to work to get our work for our realisation into our heart.

The Sleeping Essence does not Know it is Wrong (125)

Sleeping Essence?

By sleeping essence we mean the essence trapped or bottled in the ego. By ‘bottle’ (symbolic) we are referring to conditioning, from the psychological point of view the ego is a degree of conditioning. From the esoteric point of view the ego is a metaphysical entity or a bottle or container trapping a piece of essence.

The sleeping essence is the conditioned essence, its conditioning has trapped it into thinking, feeling and acting in accordance with its conditioning and this very same conditioning has also lulled it to sleep.

The conditioning of the essence is very peculiar, it is a conditioning that is polarised in duality. The sleeping essence is polarised in such a way that the sleeping essence processes itself or generates thoughts, feelings and actions in a way that is opposite to the ways of the Being.

Sleeping Essence does not Know its Own Conditioning

The very strange thing is that the sleeping essence does not know it is conditioned and furthermore it does not know that it is wrong.

IT is up to our consciousness and the free essence that we have to understand that the way that a given ego or sleeping essence acts is wrong. Then we, being our consciousness and free essence, have to tell that essence that is sleeping in the ego that it is wrong. We have to address it with force and with the help of the Divine Mother and get the message to it that it is wrong.

The Sleeping Essence Listens

Believe it or not the sleeping essence can listen to us and can obey. When the sleeping essence starts to wake up a bit and realise that it is wrong the force of the ego decreases remarkably. This is truly amazing!

Conclusion

Strive with urgency to understand that the function that any ego is fulfilling in life is wrong and that it can be done better and done by the Being instead. Realise deeply with your consciousness and free essence that its way of fulfilling its function is wrong and then begin to address it, telling it that is wrong, and if you have true comprehension and you do it sincerely you will find that the ego decreases massively in force. This really works!
