Some notes for the Need and Greed talk.

In many ways this talk is about setting down some guiding principles to do with establishing a useful relationship a person seeking a spiritual path can have with matter. With one of the most important  components of matter, being money.

Basically we have to know how to relate intelligently with matter. As the spiritual path is the development of the Spirit while in matter.

Needs

There are absolute and relative needs. This is good to know. Even though some needs are relative they are still needs. A need is somehing that we can not do without.

The absolute needs are three: food, shelter and clothing.

Relative needs are for example things we may need for our job, such as: a car, a phone, a computer etc. Because without those things we can do our job and earn money to provide food, shelter and clothing for ourselves.

Then there are things which we do not need and this is where we cross a line and enter into the zone of greed, of excess, of psychological dependence, of false needs etc.

Greed

Greed is anything that is impractical. Acquiring, accumualting, experiencing etc. that goes beyond the line of contentment or even the 'to capacity' line.

Each one of us has a certain 'feeling content line' and a 'full line'. 

We have to know these two lines in oursleves and be able to recognise when we are approaching them.

For example, when eating. When we eat, we can eat until the 'feeling content line' and we satisfy our body's needs for food and drink, and psychologically we are content - balanced - not feeling lack or excess. Then we can continue eating and we reach the full line. Then we can exceed the full line...

Usually reaching the full line is ok now and then, however exceeding it and reaching the full line all the time breaks balance and we then suffer consequences, namely our health suffers, diabetes, overweight etc.

There are many areas of greed, not only related to money. Wherever there is something that we can have, consume, experience, do, buy, sell, there is greed. There is greed with time, with energy, with food, with sleep, with possessions, with sex, with alcohol, with pleasure, with love etc. 

The contentment where there is happiness, which is the same thing as bliss, shows us where balance is. 

We normally learn balance by getting very unbalanced first. 

If we seek balance we relate correctly to all things. Balance is the intelligent combination of the two opposites to produce a third solution. Life is all about the third solution.

We buy things basically because of the psychological value that it has for us. Not so much because of the thing itself.

Money in itself is something nuetral. It is neither good nor bad.

We tend to use money psychologically. That is we use it to satisfy false needs. Acquiring money substitutes the absence of the authentic within us. The authentic happiness, the authentic richness of spirit, the authentic power, the authentic love etc. etc. 

These days we can buy everything, even things that don't have a price tag such as love, loyalty, life, a place in heaven etc. etc. This is all to make us believe that money solves everything and that our compulsion to acquire money is justified.

These things can not be bought with any dollar amount but they can be bought by dissolving the "I's" within us. Because we are so externalised we don't think about doing that.

We never think though of buying a place in hell. Because we all know deep down, that indulging in our egos is the way down there and that there will be a place for us down there granted to us for free.

Balance is at neither extreme. It is at the middle where both extremes are understood. As Dante wrote,  hoarders and spendthrifts are at war with each other because they don't understand each other. As soon as any hoarder or spendthrift moves to the middle they will understand the opposite side.   

So seeking the real bliss, contentment, and balance is to start to forge our path away from slipping downwards. 

Sorry about being so negative here. I just wanted to empahasise the truth that the path down is already made but the path up has yet to be made by us. We have to forge it.

A person could have several millions in his or her bank and be working on themselves quite well. Yet a person could be very poor and totally miserable and not ever work on himself. There could also be those who are very rich and don't ever work on themselves either and despite it all are very miserable and degenerated. It all depends on how attached we are to what we have.

Protect, Guide and Illuminate - (4076)

Spiritual strengthening can be seen among many as consisting of these three activities: protect, guide and illuminate.

The best protection is to make our centres and our will strong. That is strong in the practice. With strong centres and a strong will we can ward off much danger.

Clear in the intellect, firm in the emotion and discplined in the motor and instinctive centre. A strong will or conviction is the strength that maintains our spiritual life and efforts.

Guide helps in the way of keeping us on the path, not straying and making errors. This is because eventhough we still need to learn, and we often do so by making mistakes, errors and mistakes weaken us and disorient us. 

Illuminate gives us deep trust and faith. With a strong faith and trust we are anchored mor and more in the spiritual.

The Cosmic Christ Gnosis says cna help us with these three activites.

Our Future Incarnations - (4075)

Now and then its not bad to think of our own future incarnations. 

I know it gets way too hard to consider or imagine. 

We can know how our future will be like by looking at this life. We will feel the same as we do now, if we don't try and change.

All though what we can do is to look at this life and try and make this life as merit full as possible to set up as favourable as possible good future incarnations. 

This is because the future is built now. Both past and future are here in the present. What we do in the present decides if the past continues forward or a new future, not a continuation of the past is sent forward.

The Being is a Triumpher - If It Wants Something It Will Triumph - (3670)

Master Samael says that if the Being wants His realisation, it is sure that He will achieve it!

This is because the Being, our Being is a triumpher!

If there is something that the Being wants for Its realisation we can trust that It will get it.

Balance is the Way the Two Opposites Relate to Each Other - (4073)

How can two opposite things relate to one another? It at first seems that they are so incompatible and there is no way that they can relate, it seems that they should just remain distant or in a state of eternal antagonism.

It really seems at times that for the two opposites to relate there has to be some magic at work or something special to make that happen.

But life, creation, the cosmos, the consciousness, nature etc. etc. shows us that there is a magic way in which the two opposites can relate and can maintain a relationship.

In fact the opposites meet all the time and their meeting makes up a whole. Life depends upon them meeting.

That magic reconciling of the two opposites is balance or the consciousness. So in other words when two opposites come together there is an opportunity for consciousness to be put into action, even for consciousness to be awoken and even expanded.

A third factor can unite the two opposites. The third factor is the solution, the key of the relationship between the two.

The work can unite the two opposites, and their union creates the opportunity for consciousness to be used more often, and it even allows for more consciousness to be awoken.

Knowing Oneself - (4071)

The real knowing of oneself is not such an easy thing at times.

It is really to wonder into unknown territory which at first and for a while until we assimilate it, it is something unnerving. To meet a part of ourselves, previously unknown to ourselves and a part that we don't particularly like. 

Master Samael said that the more he rejected evil the more he fell into it.

For sure, all unknown to us, are things that dwell in us that are parts that we have always worked against and have always disliked, and have even regarded as doing the opposite of them as being our saving grace. 

Of course in really knowing ourselves we mostly pass through many disappointments and disillusions with ourselves. Due to our false self-concept. Of course there are also some pleasant surprises.

It is the role of the Typhon Baphomet to show us these sides of ourselves.

Of course a deal of force is needed on His part to bring those things out and to organise physical circumstances and internal ones if required to bring those things out. Of course He must bring them out such that we can see them as clear as day so that there is no escape from having to accept them.

The Typhon comes when the consciousness is prepared enough. The primary level of preparation is that the essence will not escape having to accept.

Certainly it is so true that accepting is the only way forward of training ourselves towards finally comprehending and eliminating that side to ourselves and with elimination giving to rise to a new and better side of ourselves.   

Thus the Typhon whitens a patch of his dark skin through us and our work which also as we co-operate with him we make it his work too.

When a Person Suffers they can be More Conscious - (4070)

Yes when we suffer there is one or two big egos there but, we are striving and working to displace the suffering. We are naturally observing, comprehending and using our will all that we can. We don't have time to entertain any pass times or idle nonsense thoughts. We are focused on not suffering. We are more in touch with our reality of the frail human condition and of the strength of the spirit.

When we are well or normal we allow ourselves to entertain any number useless of idle thoughts about the silliest nonsensical things and we return to our arrogance believing we are invincible and beyond reproach and the Being is a cloudy distant wispy puff of spirit air.

Suffering is a paradox there is something unreal there causing us suffering but yet we are more in touch than we normally are with our reality and that of our inner Being.

Hard Hard on an Ego - (4069)

It gets to the point that there is no time anymore for a particular ego, it has to die! So what can we do? Nothing, but get really hard on it. The bottom line is, if we don't get hard on it, sharp and to the point of death on it, it is not going to leave us alone!

That's why we fail because we don't maintain our hard line for long enough. 

First is to cut its supply of impressions which are its food. There's no way really that we can make any ego die if we keep its food supply going. We get food to the ego in two ways: directly - by receiving the impressions that it asks for or seeks, for example, from people or from media that is created by the ego, and the other way is by receiving impressions indirectly, from ourselves by our thinking and feeling.  

With some egos it will be to stop taking the impressions in the same way and thinking and feeling in the same way and for others it will be to stop receiving those impressions altogether.

Pray with strong will and determination to dissolve it and then concentrate on it, knowing it and knowing it and understanding it and understanding it. 

But all the while making your best effort to keep the resolution that its time is up.  

This is really mystical death and the rest is just unhelpful wayside material.

Ninth Sphere Notes: Conditions to Fulfill - (4067)

Introduction - Ninth Sphere a Work of Mystical Death

The ninth sphere is certainly just not the sexual act, nor is it just transmuting during the sexual act. Well understood, it is a work of mystical death of a profound and serious type. 

The ninth sphere is where we face mystical death related to our very primordial and primitive forces. Which are the forces of creation, the forces which are at our very origin. Hence such a work affords us the authentic change as we are working with forces that originate and the ninth sphere is where the forces that originate swirl, simmer, bubble and have their point of activity. 

The ninth sphere is ruled by the Typhon. Whenever we are to deal with the Typhon we are dealing straight away with mystical death or psychological work. The Typhon is our psychological trainer.

A person who has transmuted all their life can still go to the abyss, because the essence is still fragmented and bottled. Transmuting without death makes a person a bomb ready at any moment to explode, as the transmuted energy feeds and feeds making the ego fat - i.e. strong and if the ego is strong we are weaker, more sensitive, more awkward, more full of desire, more inadequate etc.

In the ninth sphere is also where we face our debts to do with the Holy Spirit. Of course this is so, as when there is mystical death there is something always to pay. So everyone is enthusiastic about the work with sex but then it comes time to pay the debts and things get difficult to work even for the spring chickens, it doesn't matter, debts are debts and they are only cleared with payment, the best payment is mystical death.

Conditions

There are seven basic conditions. Explained a little below. These conditions come from a book written by V.M Lakshmi. There is no English translation for that book as yet.

One - Discipline

Discipline in controlling our centres and our mind above all. The discipline to do this every time. The discipline of diverting the attention to prayer.  

Two - Obedience to the Doctrine

Obedience to the doctrine, critically the Alchemical axioms of never spilling the hermetic glass and only using one hermetic vase. Plus so many other aspects of the doctrine especially those of the way Alchemy is practiced and how mystical death must always be sought. To be obedient one must first know the doctrine.

Three - Will, Discipline and Obedience

Will-Discipline-Obedience must all work together. We have to unite all three for effectiveness. Will is also conviction and emotion and yearning. It is also faith and trust in action.

Four - Who in the Past, Present and Future

To know and have understood: "Who have I been?", "Who am I?" and "Who do I want to be?". These are questions we must have clear in the work within the ninth sphere because the direct and complete knowledge of those questions prepares us as to what we will face (who have we been?) and allows us to know what we have to do (who we are now: aspirants to the light) that is following the precepts of the Alchemy and what we want to do (who do we want to be?) by maintaining our goal of dying in ourselves while working in the ninth sphere.

Five - "I am the way, the truth and the life"

To know that the Christ said: "I am the way, the truth and the life". in the ninth sphere there is no path we have to make our path. There is the path of others who have walked their way before us but for us there is no path. In the ninth sphere is where we start our path and make our path. Our path is individual but yet it is walked between the parameters and boundaries, laws and principles of the path. 

Six - Align Three Brains

Align the three brains with the essence.

Seven - Each Atom for Each Cell

To know that each atom of our physical body is going to be transformed by each physical cell of sexual energy that we transmute.

Similia Similibus Curantur - (4066)

Like is cured by the like. 

For many issues of our psychological work, this remedy is applicable.

The general formula is that of denying any ego in ourselves using what the ego does but in the opposite direction.

Cure not caring about others by not caring so much about ourselves and the things in our small world.

Cure not loving the work by not loving our vices, comforts, vested interests etc...

Cure not loving others by not loving ourselves so much.

Cure desire by desiring freedom.

Cure egoic suffering by suffering in the essence seeing how we are making our Being to suffer and we will begin to chose not to suffer.

Other People Depend on Our Values - (4063)

That's how life works doesn't it? The whole of society is upheld by the values of each member. 

When the values are not exercised then things begin to break down, laws are broken and crimes committed.

All relationships depend on our values. Relationships can't exist or be sustained if values are absent.

We can also see that many of our relationships depend on one value much more than any other. Each relationships has a key value. Find it and we have found the key to making that relationship successful and long lasting.

It seems that the law of society is that the values are put into practice.

Our boss depends on the value of our word, on our honesty, and the worker depends on the fairness of the boss, on the word of the boss, on the direction of the boss, on the understanding of the boss etc.

Our Being depends on your chastity, on our love for the work, on our diligence, on our perseverance, on our loyalty, on our humility, on our faith etc. and we depend on our Being's love, on our Being's trust, on our Being's consciousness etc. 

It seems that in doing the work and the path we exercise the most values as our Inner Being depends in growing degrees upon each of our values.

Gnosis Intro Points - (4065)

A boring post for you all. Don't read it. It is just for my benefit, using this post as a jotting pad.

Gnosis is direct knowledge, knowledge gained from direct experience. All true knowledge is learnt this way. As real knowledge comes from the real.

Real knowledge appears in anyone when there is direct contact with the realities of life, nature and the cosmos or anything that we wish to truly learn or know.

Knowledge is not believing nor is it read about. It is experiencing and living it out. Which is very demanding. It is the point where all of us fail. 

All true knowledge wishes that human beings apply it and fuse it into their Being.

One of the greatest of all endeavours in human experience is to apply what has been learnt. This is the greatest stumbling block of all human beings: not applying what has been learnt. 

To apply what has been heard requires an intense level of yearning, a decisive discipline, intentional departure from excuses, expectations and concepts (many of which are false). It also requires the departure from the comfortable, from habits and implies changes... 

True knowledge exists because of the real and the real is what transforms and liberates.

True knowledge has always had the qualities of empowering and liberating. How good just a little bit of knowledge can be and how dangerous just a little of knowledge can also be.

     

True knowledge has the power to dispel suffering and remedy what afflicts us. 

It is so evident that what human beings lack the most is knowledge of ourselves. The average human being lacks so much and this we admit quietly to ourselves at night or alone in the toilet or shower. 

Modern medicine shows us how we much knowledge we lack of our external selves - our body. Can you imagine if so much is lacking about our physicality how much more is lacking about our inner psychological and ontological or spiritual processes?

Yet by the very real characteristics of true knowledge, self-knowledge is the thing we need to cure ourselves and free ourselves from so much personal and collective suffering.

Society is the sum of the individual. If one individual changes then society will change. As long as the individual does not know him or herself, society will not benefit or know itself either and all the problems will continue...

Ninth Sphere Notes Continued Part 2 - (4062)

Continuing on from Part 1...

It seems we can't ignore the point of the Typhon Baphomet when we visit the theme of the ninth sphere.

The Typhon Baphomet is ourselves, well much more than ourselves, but in the simplest sense it is ourselves. To face our Typhon Baphomet is to face ourselves. The most scary thing that we can face is ourselves. The Typhon Baphomet is a devil because we are devils.

The work in the ninth sphere we are taught is much more than sex, it is really mystical death. If there is a work to be done there is always learning, changing and establishing the change which is mystical death. 

There seems that to descend into the ninth sphere and be successful there, there are several conditions to fulfill.

Condition 1:

The teachings say we need discipline. That is quite an obvious one. The discipline with one's thoughts, one's emotions and one's motor centre. Disciplined and well trained in transmuting the energies.

Condition 2:

One also needs, says the teachings: a certain obedience to the doctrine. The doctrine says to not lose the energy for various very good reasons belonging to esoteric science. Obeying that aspect is cardinal as well as other aspects.

A Drunkard Submits His/Her Consciousness to the Abyss - (4064)

What a drunkard does besides slowly killing themselves, their wonderful nice liver, is that they submit their own consciousness to the abyss as often as they drink.

To wake up the consciousness we need to have our consciousness outside of the abyss. It can only act and help us when it is outside of our abyss.

How Do we Know we have Love in Our Being? - (4058)

How do we know have love in our Being and we are that love? Logically e can say we are our essence and we are the essence. So we are love.

We may know it intellectually but that does not help when the ego appears!

We feel the love you may say. Yes, that is a point, but what is better is that we emanate it, send it, radiate it back to the source inside of us!

Here's the simple arrow:

Feel it > pray it > radiate it > act it.

When we act it we know it.

This realisation and action is something that cures many wounds from the past in us, displaces the painful egos of self-love and self-importance and weakens them.

This knowledge is especially useful to displace those egos mentioned above and any other egos that have the feeling that we are lacking, below, displaced, disapproved, not valued, not appreciated, not valid etc. etc. Always though there is some kind of comparison to feel this way, some reference point...

There is also that feeling of not being worthy of love. Such feelings, if we observer ourselves carefully  follow after thoughts about not being loving towards others. So those feelings of not being worthy of love are due to not loving others really, not emanating love or not finding the love that we have in our essence and in our Being. Makes sense doesn't it? It is like a logical conclusion that our subconscious makes, because we don't love others we don't deserve love. The remedy is to love others and such feelings disappear.

Ninth Sphere Notes Continued Part 1 - (4059)

Continuing on from a previous post...

By the very nature of the ninth sphere, it implies the work with sex. However, this work is very extensive and interpenetrating into so much of our nature, so much so that it is a work of facing oneself. The ninth sphere is the world in which we move, it reflects in what we live out. 

If we change the way we think, feel and act our ninth sphere changes and the world in which we live changes also.

In the ninth sphere we encounter our Typhon. It is actually ruled by our Typhon. So therefore in the ninth sphere that is where we face our passions as they , our instincts, our desires etc. 

We steal the fire from the Typhon by transmuting. In our daily life we steal the light through our psychological work.

We need preparation really to work in the ninth sphere. The goal is to descend, work there and then ascend. To descend we don't need preparation, to work there and ascend we need preparation. WE NEED PREPARATION!!!

Any person, single or married in their right mind will agree that people need preparation if they are to really work there in the ninth sphere and not get stuck there and fail miserably.

Master Samael says few are those who know how to descend and then ascend out of the ninth sphere. 

Anyone can descend but it is not the case that everyone ascends. The common in life, is that once someone descends they remain there stuck.

As soon as the sexual connection is made both descend into the ninth sphere. The ninth sphere in the Earth and into their own subconscious and it is from there is where each must ascend.

The cross is actually driven into the ninth sphere. It has its roots extending into the depths of the ninth sphere.

The biggest mistake that people make when working in the ninth sphere is that they descend but do not raise their level of Being. We forget to raise our level of the Being! Transmuting helps but that is not enough!

So then people transmute filling themselves with energy and they end up feeding their egos and one day those egos just explode and we are like any other person in life who explodes from time to time or more often.

To actually arrive at the meeting point on the cross of where the vertical meets the horizontal we have to have descended and then raised our level of the being enough along the vertical to hit the meeting point.

The meeting point is where the balance is and where the balance in the work of the ninth sphere is won. In practical terms this means when one controls that work and is able to really take advantage of that sphere in order to work. After arriving at the balance or cross-over point on the cross, then only higher and higher levels of the Being are conquered.

Why the talk of the cross? Because Lucifer and the Christ are one. As we triumph over Lucifer we go more to the Christ and the cross is the Christ, which is the crossing of matter and spirit.

Right Attitude Towards Karma - (4060)

Having the right attitude before anything makes a world of difference. Karma included.

Some people can be become very bitter before karma. People can protest and complain. People can hate karma, even come to hate the word and even hate the Divinities that administer it.

The truth is the Divinities that administer the karma are not punishing us. It is us that are punishing ourselves. 

We did it to ourselves. Because we did something, the poor Divinities of the Divine Law have to work out a way for us to suffer our consequences.

Karma is mathematical, it is exact. Justice is a fine line remember. We can trust that we won't pay more than we owe.

Part of the correct attitude is to actually pay not to add more debt to ourselves. We do this majorly by continuing to act wrongly accumulating more karma, when we know we are doing wrong.

To do wrong knowingly has a higher price than doing with ignorance.

Master Samael says complaining makes things worse before the Divine Law, as it shows that we are not taking responsibility.  

There is always something hidden in every karmic circumstance. In general that something hidden is called: 'compensation'. There exists a secret compensation of something for something...

Karma teaches us unity. To affect another is the exact same thing as affecting ourselves.

Karma is balance in progress. So that's good. Every payment or experience of karma is taking us closer to balance, and balance is not painful, it is peace, stability and consciousness. 

Karma is a medicine for the soul. It is a very good learning for the essence. To know what we have done and for goodness sake not to repeat it.

Karma hurts, yes it does, but what we can say, we should have thought of that before we hurt others or our interior Divinity. Our own fault for not taking that into account.

Basically we pay our debts with good works.

Gnosis Doesn't Tell you to Do Anything - (4057)

Let's get real and put aside some immaturity. 

Gnosis doesn't tell us to do anything. It tells us why we shouldn't do something and it tells us what will happen if we do that something. That's all.

Gnosis is knowledge, it's just letters on paper, and paper has never hurt anyone, well a paper cut. The potential danger is in what the person does or doesn't do with that knowledge.

Gnosis doesn't stop you from doing something, it just tells you to consider it for this and that reason. Its always up to us to decide and its for us to deal with the consequences or reap the reward if we get it wrong or right.

Ninth Sphere Notes - (4052)

Introduction

Some notes about what for me anyway was always a very enigmatic topic in Gnosis.

Notes

🔘A sphere is circle projected into three dimensions or four dimensions or more to form a hypersphere. A circle is a unity, something complete and closed. Making a sphere to be a globe or in other words a world. Because a world, taking after a circle is something complete in itself, with its own functions and characteristics. 

🔘So the ninth sphere by rights is a world. A whole world. A world that we can enter, with its own special functions and characteristics, of which this post is about.

🔘A world that is the origin of other worlds, beasts, men and Gods.

🔘A world that we actually descend into, not a world that we rise into, but one that we descend into.

🔘A world that we have come from and a world we can descend into in order to encounter ourselves, in our very base primordial nature, i.e. which turns out to be our base passions and instincts to reproduce, sleep, eat, survive, run, escape etc.

🔘Any exaltation is preceded by a descent. To rise we must descend. The place of maximum knowing to descend into is the ninth sphere.

🔘The ninth sphere is the very bottom circle or sphere of the abyss. The sphere that synthesises all of the preceding eight. 

🔘The magical number nine has to do with gestation, the nine months in the womb that any human child takes to gestate before being born.

🔘Typically it is understood as being sex. The work with sex. The work in the Alchemy. This is true of course yet there is much more to see about it.

🔘The ninth sphere is the matrix the womb where beasts, men, Gods and worlds are formed. A world that synthesises all that is required for the formation of beasts, Gods, men and worlds. Very important right to know ourselves right?

🔘There is the ninth sphere at the very centre of the earth where Master Samael says we find the sign of the infinite which represents the three brains, and the battles that exists between the three brains. Human beings are organised according to this basic design of the sign of the infinite, two circles and a joining point - representing: intellect, heart and sex.  

🔘We have come from the ninth sphere and from the ninth sphere we launch ourselves towards heaven or it is where we descend to via the processes of involution and it is from there that we ascend from through the process of evolution. It is an origin or point of departure or the crossing of two circles, one of involution and evolution and the other of liberation.

🔘In the ninth sphere is the process of birth. After the appropriate in the ninth sphere has elapsed one is ready to be born as an angel or as an demon. The processes in the ninth sphere and the forces running through the ninth sphere prepare for a new life, as an angel, as a demon or as an elemental emerging from the abyss pure and innocent ready start its evolution to life under the sun as a human being. 

🔘Master Samael says in the very practical sense, in the ninth sphere are to be found the creative forces of sex. He says that the work in the ninth sphere is the work transmuting those creative energies.

Level of Being - (4055)

Our level of the Being is elastic, it varies depending on what we do. But the variation is not what interests us, it is the base level that interests us. We need to raise our base level. What is our base level? Hard to know fully. Well we can glimpse it based on our internal company. What is going on inside of ourselves - how much negativity is there in our thoughts and of what order, of what type?

We may pray and our level of Being rises, but then we get angry and start swearing and our level goes down again. What is our base level?

Anyway the way we raise our level of Being is by lifting that base, which is done through lots of self-observation, lots of comprehension and lots of effort to grab onto the change and make it stick, that is make it ourselves.

Changing the negativity of our thoughts is a good start in relation to any or all of the egos. To bring in the values and use them to modify our thoughts to be in accordance with those values. This will give us much contrast to use to work on ourselves to be able to raise our level of the Being.

Pride and lust are the factors that keep our level of the Being low the most. They are the heaviest elements for our level of the Being.

The most important thing related to our level of Being is knowing ourselves. We have to know ourselves deeply, deeply to be able to go upwards in the level of the Being.

Idolatry of the Sexual - (4053)

An interesting point is this one. 

Within the fascinating or hypnotising power that lust has is this element of idolising sex. If the hypnotic power of lust is somehow diminished the idolising of sex will also diminish.

This element explains why so many people imitate in their sexuality the impressions that are propagated here and there.

No one would care or even think about imitating something that was not of a idol like status.

Anything that is not the Being in ourselves is a false idol. The real and true idol is really our Inner Being. 

There are people and that is all they talk about, because they idolise the sexual and all its ramifications, offshoots, implications and connotations etc. 

There are people that most of their life revolves around sex. There are people where their inner life is nearly all about sex and the sexual, nearly all that they say has a double meaning related to sex.

It is the origin of our existence and its energy of creativity and life is everywhere and in everything but the sexual act and the sexual is not part of work at the office, or on the bus or walking in the city or driving the car or doing things at home or studying at university or at school or walking the dog down the street etc. 

To give it idol status is a mistake. To give something idol status means to make it the centre of our life, to give nearly all our mind and heart to something. Sex is from the Being and is of the Being, however giving it idol status divorces it from the Being.

The correct thing to do is to give the Being idol status and then see sexuality as something for the Being and used within the Being. Then we get it right. 

Well anyway the most important thing here is to see if this point of idolatry is true, and if it is, begin to reflect and see if really the idolatry of the sexual exists within us and if it does, does it have too much importance, is it is too exaggerated etc.? If it is then we have the remedy, which is to give the Being first place and see sexuality for the Being and used within the principles and qualities of the Being. 

Sexual energy, sexuality, sexual act etc., all come from the Being, not that the Being comes from sex or the sexual act.

Simple Observation on the Nature of Lust - (4056)

Lust is sexuality without that benevolence of sincere good willed consideration of the other person.

Because lust does not have this element of benevolence and sincere good willed consideration towards the other, it has the opposite element instead. Which is an element that has the quality (varies in degrees) of being selfish, ill-willed, subtly against the other in various guises, etc. All the various branches of infra-sexuality take their origin from this element - in fact all of infra-sexuality has the element of being against oneself or the other, whether it be subtle or expressly amplified or very strangely amplified. 

This element gives lust that strange flavour which is also very similar to the flavour of the ego that is about losing the sexual energy, which deep within it carries ill-will, as losing the sexual energy is an act of ill-will towards one's Inner Being.

The conscious knowledge of this one element is very powerful and gives a person, if they work on it well the ability to change or turn the nature of their sexuality around, and fill themselves with a new benevolent peaceful flavour that is inwardly more integral, wholesome and authentically happier.  

Naturally, one person who has the benevolent at work will not be at peace with a person who has the opposite and the person who has the opposite will not be satisfied with the one who has the benevolent. 

Transmutation is a benevolent current, that makes one's whole system genuinely at peace with oneself, that then brings a superior contentment at the level of our essence. The opposite of transmutation brings the opposite of that. Its contentment is not real as quickly it turns to bitterness and more desiring.

One sees also that in Alchemy that ill-willed element gets displaced and dissolved as the benevolent element is the one that is active and governs, because that work is for the benefit of both the two souls and the two Monads.

Several Vehicles Others Absorbed when One Realises - (4054)

Here's something very short, about the different vehicles that a Monad can have and what happens when one successfully realises the Monad.

The other vehicle that didn't realise gets absorbed by their Monad at some point. The wisdom from their experiences and their essence gets absorbed by their Monad, when the physical vehicle ceases. Their karma is dealt with by the Monad and the one that worked to get the realisation.

The egos that those vehicles had - I don't know what happens to them, I don't know how they are dealt with.

This information comes from a book where the author himself, he says asked Master Samael back in Mexico himself directly and that was Master Samael's answer.

All Egos are Selfish, a Step Outside of that Helps - (4050)

A selfish person needs to step outside themselves. Quite true right?

All the weaknesses are selfish right. They all enclose one inside oneself. All the egos have their selfish part and the ego of selfishness has more parts strongly dedicated to selfishness. 

The remedy to any of these weaknesses is not staying locked inside oneself, but making an effort to get out of oneself. 

We don't help, we don't move, we don't practice, we don't pray, we don't speak, we don't laugh, we don't smile, we don't cook, we don't care etc. all because we are inside of ourselves following some egoic logic and consequently being detained by it. 

We are lazy and selfish because of some logic we are stuck in and detained by. 

Mainly to get outside of one's mind is what we need to get out of. Because our essence is actually stuck in our mind and it needs to float out of there. A bucket of cold water on one's head does wonders.

To step outside of the egoic argument, or egoic logic or egoic reasons that one has in their head is the necessary and is also the most efficient effort.

Any means or method to step outside of ourselves is valid, except for alcohol and drugs. 

We need lots of courage to step out of ourselves, that is why we get so angry with others who try and make us laugh or do things when we are bottled up within ourselves. All because we don't want to step outside of ourselves.

When we get angry or annoyed at someone for disturbing us then we can be sure we are stuck inside of ourselves, stuck in some identification or problem of the sort.

Working with the Mind is Moment to Moment - (4051)

There's no other way if we want to work in the great task of freeing ourselves from the mind, than to work moment to moment.

Starting off with the thoughts that really bother and then going subtler and subtler.

A high state of alertness is needed combined with sincere effort.

To treat the mind globally, and trying to be separate from it as a whole, no matter what ego is expressing or thinking teaches us many skills that help us in this task.  

Each ego uses the mind and the mind has its set functions. If we recognise these functions and free ourselves from these functions we do a lot to free ourselves from the influences of the different egos.

Love Something, then Set it Free - (3820)

Why not set what we love free inside of us. 

Love, after all if it is a love that is real, will come back to us. At some point, at some place, it will return.

Take this as a universal truth as it is not connected to anyone or anything, just as a truth for the consciousness. They are not my words they are something m.m.m said quite a number of years ago.

No Point in Thinking Others Have it Easier - (4049)

While in a negative state due to this or that happening or this or that impression we can often think: "why do others have it so easy and it is so hard for me".

Well we must have done something, there's a reason for everything and thinking along those lines is totally of no use as it takes away from us the time and energy that we need to solve our difficulty.

Nothing good will come of such negative thinking. Positive thoughts and thinking is what helps us much more to bring to our essence and brain the light that will be helpful in the situation we are in. 

After all such thoughts don't change the situation we are in, do they?

Loving the Being Above All Else Working Points - (4048)

Man is a bridge and woman is a bridge. This is only seen as such, when we love the Being above all else...

A bridge is not there to get stuck on... Sure we can walk along the bridge for a while and stop to admire the view that surrounds us, but ultimately a bridge is there to walk over to the other side. The other side being the Inner Being.

Obviously if both man and woman make their Being first and love the Inner Being the most, they will understand each other, coincide on all that is for the Being and love each other also. How can one not love that which is taking one closer to one's primordial love?

It's not wrong to tell someone to love their Being above all else.

We are mortal yet their Being is immortal and their immortal Being will always be able to be with them in their intimate depths. Their Being will never abandon them...

Their Being is their reality, their home, their inner life and light, their inner Law, their love, their  source, their everything...

Their Being is the one who shall give everything to them and it is the only one they can give everything to and not lose themselves nor get it wrong and fall out of grace...

We fell because we gave too much, or we gave what should never be given...

Some things of our Being though should be given, but to the right limit...

There are other things that can only ever be interchanged, not given, at a higher octave and for a higher purpose.

We should radiate the light and warmth of our inner Being in general to others to help where we can. We can radiate it outwards just as does the sun. We should radiate out our positive thoughts... which are like the rays of the sun... In giving them they by law will return to us.

In the Alchemy the transmuted energy circulates through the hermetic couple, energy is interchanged and used for the Inner Being it is not mistakenly given i.e. lost.

No one would lose their sexual energy if they loved the Being above all else.

We have to affirm the Being in ourselves. We start with prayer. Putting our Inner Being first and foremost in our mind and in our heart. Then first and foremost in the other centres, the sexual centre and motor centre. 

Then once we can put our Inner Being first in our centres above all and any resistance we can go and live it out, starting off small and increasing bit by bit.

We are not more than our Inner Being...

If we never declare to our Inner Being in prayer that It is first, we will never be able to know and feel who we really are in relation to our Inner Being. We will also never know the benefits of putting the love of our Inner being above all else. 

We will not know the balance, the freedom, the order, the clear vision, the courage, the definition among so many others things that this affords us...

To put one's Being first opens the door of a new destiny...
