Openess to Three Realities - a Form of Self-Remembering - (4542)

To make our mind quiet and then extend our attention over our three realities creating an open space of perception is useful.

A relaxed openness where we know that in our spiritual dimension is our Inner Being, and knowing that our effort is to keep the space open for when something may appear.

It is very much being open to a person, to whatever a person may need or how we can help. It is this same attitude and readiness directed inwardly to our Real Inner Being.

That's our job - to remain open to our interior. Open to the above in us in hopeful waiting and yearning, and alert to the below within us with just as much or even more intensity. Because things also come up from down there too and those things have to be filtered out and separated from.

Inner Being Talks to Everyone of Us - (4541)

The Inner Being does talk and also doesn't talk to us. There are moments when there is silence inside of ourselves. Then there are moments when the Inner Being does talk.

What matters only is our perception. Perception is not an active mind or our concepts.

When we have concepts and an active mind, we think the Inner Being talks to us all the time and when the Inner Being does talk we don't hear it and when the Inner Being is silent we think something is wrong and then we stop hearing what is being spoken in the silence...

Talk too Much and Don't Do it - (4540)

It is said that one of the main principles in the study of Hermeticism is about keeping silent.

This is in place for many reasons. One reason is that because when we talk about doing something we expend the energies needed to actually do it. 

It is really true the more we talk about doing something the less we actually end up doing it and also the more we talk about enjoying something the less we end up enjoying it.

The applies to speaking to others about and to speaking to ourselves about it in our own mind.

The same thing when preparing a lecture. If we talk a lot to ourselves about the lecture while preparing it, the lecture we give isn't really satisfying for some reason... All the creative energies were expended talking to ourselves about it and the consequently the talk lacked that creative spark and genuinity - and was delivered in a way that was too planned by the mind.

The best thing is, if we want to do something talk a bit about it or nothing even and then go and do it.

Of course communicate as necessary but cut out the unnecessary talk by being silent.

Too Old, Time Wasted, Having Achieved Nothing - (4540)

This is a truth that surfaces in us from time to time. We too often hear it and let it go as it is a bit disturbing. It is almost like it is an unwelcome thought... 

There are some though that have heard this truth, and have acted and changed their life...

There are those that have really worked and have arrived at their destination... That truth doesn't disturb them anymore but is a source of a sigh of relief...

We always think that we have time... That a miracle will happen. 

But the the way we roll is, is how we will roll now and in the future. If the way we roll is dynamic and and hard working we may just get old and have achieved something but if we roll staying always as we are we we will be the epitome of this truth.

Distractions are all Emotional Kicks - (4539)

Basically all distractions are an emotional kick of some kind. Distractions can be even related to Gnosis or the work yet behind their crafty disguise, it delivers us a an emotional kick.

To find our essence and to learn how to focus our attention and consciousness, we realise that we need to be able to direct emotion into what we are concentrating on.

Distractions which are essentially emotional need to be reigned in to really find our essence. Because we need emotional energy to find our essence, and distractions dispel and consume our emotional energy.

Strong Foundation is the Most Important - (4538)

The foundation we set for ourselves in the beginning is the most important determining factor for our future.

Laying down the correct foundation is the best help that we can give ourselves.

We actually lay down several foundations for ourselves in the course of work.

Every relationship is based upon certain foundations that we bring or lay down.

We lay down our foundation as a student then later a teacher and then later as someone who is to walk the path.

For some reason we can lay down a somewhat weak foundation. In the future we will reap the effects of a weak foundation. It is good to know that we can repair and strengthen that weak foundation. But of course with much greater effort than if we would have laid down the strong foundation in the beginning. 

A strong foundation is a correct foundation. A weak foundation is the incorrect foundation.

The thing to note about a weak foundation in the work is that it converts into many recurrent mistakes which often worsen as time passes.

It is helpful to note down for whatever we are starting - that the best help we can give to ourselves for the new work or endevour that we are embarking on is to lay down the correct strong foundation.

The work to establish a strong foundation is the hardest and most costly but it pays back so handsomely. It is best investment and it is well worth putting in the effort to lay down a strong foundation. It saves so much time and pain or inconvenience in the future.

We Love Fond Offences - (4533)

We are really funny. We develop likes for things that are offences to the body and even common sense. It's a strange contradiction. 

Things like coffee, alcohol, tabacco etc. all don't taste great and offend the body, in particular the liver and the lungs but yet we develop a real love for those things...

That seems to be what human beings love most: 'fond offences' and that seems how human beings love via a contradiction.

Anyway this gives us certain insight that love does not have contradictions...

Strongest Conditioning Factor - Relativity - (4535)

This post is a collection of notes helpful in the work of freeing ourselves from the powerful conditioning factor of relativity.

Notes

A conditioning factor forces our consciousness to process in a certain way. Conditioning factors do not allow our consciousness to process freely as it naturally would.

There have been cases in history where it has been cited that all that was necessary for a certain individual to awaken was to liberate himself from relativity.

Absolutely be practical. Meaning know how the conditioning factor works. Do your very best to liberate yourself from it every time. Every instance matters.

Recognise the reference point being used. Move the reference point to your Inner Being.

Seek the essential value or absolute value at the heart of the matter.

Seek the esoteric truth or understanding at the heart of the matter. Which is found via the Law of Three.

The work of liberating ourselves from the conditioning factor of relativity takes to taking up our Inner as the reference point.

Sexual Centre To Be Given to Our Inner Being - (4532)

This post is a series of notes related to the topic of the giving the sexual centre to our Inner God.

Notes

So very little of the ways of normal or infra sexuality are useful to the practice of Alchemy. The practice of Alchemy can only really be practiced in its truest sense when there is the correct and unified orientation to God.

In other words the practice of Alchemy exists on the razor's edge, any slight deviation and the practice stops being true. 

A practice maybe considered to start off true when within the person there is the strong intention and knowing in the three brains that the practice is for the Inner God and to the Inner God.   

When we forget the Inner God, and the three brains veer away from alignment with our Inner God we lose the true orientation of the practice. At the very worst we lose the practice or at best we lose the spiritual efficacy of the practice.

Many sexual problems are due to not giving the sexual centre to our Inner God.

The sexual centre and its energy must be integrated into the whole of us through our Inner Being, for our Inner and in our Inner Being. 

We do this when we give values to our sexual centre and energy. Giving it trust, love, appreciation, gratitude and integration.

We wish inside of ourselves to practice well NOT so that we won't be humiliated or so that we won't fail or to avoid having children or to enjoy satisfying desires, but to give the Divinity inside of us the energy needed to realise and create within us for It's purposes.

Our sexual centre has been made by our Inner God. Designed and formed to serve as It's instrument to realise Itself.

Our sexual energy is our Inner God's sexual energy. The sexual organ and the energy it wields is capable and real to do the work of realising Itself.

Understanding deeply the above truths we can begin to drop worries, concerns, and come to trust in our sexual energy and in the sexual centre. 

It is often the self-compassion and fear due to a lack of trust in our sexual energy and sexual organs that makes a man suffer a spectrum of sexual problems such as erectile dysfunction and a lack of control of the sexual energy etc.

We can understand how the practice of Alchemy really defines one for the Inner Being because it makes all the centres of the human machine to align with the Inner Being.

If one really wants to practice the Alchemy one has no choice but to define oneself more and more for the Inner Being. In many cases problems diminish greatly or disappear when new levels of definition are truly taken in the three brains.

Asset and Treasure to Humanity - (4529)

In ordinary life when a human being out of love goes above and beyond in their job, doing more than what is required and more than what they are paid to do, they become a real asset to their company. As they do more and acquire more knowledge they become a treasure to their company and its a tremendous loss to the company when they leave.

We in Gnosis can be like this to humanity and to the Great Cause of the Father.

Any Gnostic person working on him or herself is an asset to humanity and to the Great Cause. Any missionary really working sincerely and correctly is also an asset.

As the Gnostic person progresses and his or her Inner Being expresses more and more and incarnates more and more fully, this human being becomes a real treasure to humanity and the Great Cause. 

I write this because any person working on him or herself is straight away going above and beyond what is required by life here on Earth.

Service to anything really begins when we go above and beyond even in the smallest way. In normal working life it is to go above money, recognition, reward, working hours and responsibilities and in our esoteric working life it is to sacrifice our sufferings, our pains and lower nature (interest of our egos) and embrace and affirm the Inner Being in us.

Spiritual Faculties not Connected to the Path in the End Work for Matter - (4532)

Esoteric or spiritual faculties that people have, if they do not connect them to the path they sooner or later end serving life and matter rather than the spirit.

When esoteric faculties unexpectedly awaken in a human being, that human being has a whole new world opened to them, and if they were to dive to the very depths of that new world they may well find the path... 

Of the little that I have seen, some of them do find the path, some do find the path but leave as they tend to know 'too much' (which in the end is knowing nothing about the path) to stay in a school, and still some don't even try for the same reason - that they know too much already about the spirit.

However, most of those who have spiritual faculties in the Western world end by making a business of it, or a very comfortable way of living out of it. Certainly they do good for others helping others to solve their problems etc. but they without doubt by the fees they charge and how many appointments they have in a day, they make a lot of money in the process and a small spiritual business empire grows in their name...

Then in such a small business empire, two masters appear, spirit and matter and if the path with the three factors of: mystical death, transmutation of the creative energies into the spirit and the sacrifice for humanity, are not present there is lacking the spiritual force to lift this spiritual business up fully into the arms of the spirit and so the balance in time favours matter.

Oh No Not a Personal Life! - (4530)

It seems wrong and cold but that is where we will arrive at - a non personal life and non-personal relationships.

Once there that is where we can be happy and at peace...

A personal relationship is marred with a lot of difficulty and suffering. It is a relationships where we are always personally affected by what the other person does and says or does not do or say.

When we are no longer personally affected and in our thinking and feeling we can be happy and free in loving others.

To experience the personal life, we understand that we need to work on making the "I's" of self-love and self-importance smaller and smaller.

When we can talk about the work and not about personal issues and dramas we are getting a taste of the beauty of an impersonal life.

An impersonal life gives the work for our Monad much efficacy. Where as the opposite causes us to waste so much precious time.

Birth, Death and Marriage - (4512)

These three things are the biggest events in the life of a person. Being born, marrying and dying.

Marriage is somewhere between birth and death. It has elements of both birth and death in it. To marry means that some things are born and some other things die. 

Depending on how people manage a marriage is what they receive - more birth or more death... Normally in life, birth and death are kept very separate and are not combined. Only spirituality combines them.

In ordinary life, the birth part is what is used more, as it has to be. As we can see, birth in the common sense is the birth of children, family, new possessions, new responsibilities, new duties, new skills, new family activities and events etc. etc.

Where as if death is focused upon in normal life, there is a lot of quarrels, a lot of destructive words and behaviours and eventually divorce. Divorce is the death of a marriage and also perhaps the death of many other smaller things inside and outside the person. 

It is only when marriage is given a spiritual octave that can both birth and death be wisely combined and used and their combination cause the spirit in both to flourish. 

In this higher spiritual octave there is death of the egotisical which brings the birth of new spiritual values which combined with the work in the Alchemy, bring the entrance into the esoteric path. Where the Being is born in us (enters more into our physical presence) and grows as the path advances.

Other Doctrine Encounter Confusion Syndrome - (4525)

This happens all the time, we meet another doctrine and we get confused and stuck. 

The thing to do is to be aware of this process and if we find that the experience didn't serve us, we can choose by the way of lived experience to avoid it next time.

In more detail, what happens is that we read something or encounter others from a different spiritual doctrine, school or movement and we get impressed. We then thinking that we are not doing anything in our Gnostic studies and so we get disappointed in Gnosis and more interested in the other doctrine.

As we keep reading or talking about the other doctrine we then compare Gnosis to the new doctrine, seeing which one is deeper, or more complete etc. Then we try understand the new doctrine by matching Gnosis to it, by looking for similarities, translating concepts from the new doctrine into Gnostic terms etc. We then find that things don't really match and are missing and then we get confused. Then being confused we slowly start to fall into a slump, where we get depressed and we don't do anything.

Falling into a slump we actually go backwards in either system - Gnosis or the 'new' one.

The lesson is that we get somewhere by practicing intensely one thing. 

The other lesson is that deviating into other spiritual teachings, schools and businesses etc. does not help and stops our progress. Many teachers advise against doing this because it creates confusion. The thing is students see it as a fanatical kind of restriction and they do it anyway. Some students then get their experience and learn from it while others get confused and end up dropping all their spiritual studies or settling for a doctrine that will not give them the path. Well maybe that is where they need to be for now. 

If one is intelligent one can unify it all by knowing that by freeing, awakening and using one's consciousness all becomes known and available when we intentionally focus our consciousness. To free and awaken our consciousness we need the work which Gnosis gives us.

The answer is to concentrate on one thing and go deeply into it and master it. Then apply the age old principal that by mastery of one comes mastery of all!

Got to Yearn for the Initiatic Path - (4526)

Why are studying Gnosis if somewhere inside of ourselves we are not wishing to be on the timeless path towards our Being.

The yearning to be on the path is the drive that makes us to try, do and persist in the work needed to be on the path.

Yearning for the path makes us to change... No doubt about it. It reminds us to change, it forces us to change from inside of ourselves.

To want to go to our Being is also to want to walk the path.

If we have not asked to start our path. To ask why not we have not done that is a good question? 

If we have not asked for help to progress on our path and also for help to protect our path - why not is also a good question to ask ourselves

The path is a reality on its own. It is THE PATH not the path as we see how it should be walked. IT is walked according to IT'S LAWS and PRINCIPLES, most of which we at the start know almost nothing about, but learn as we walk it.

Mix Life and the Work - Get More Life - (4528)

If we mix the vertical and horizontal lines of life what happens in time, is that we end up with a mixture that favours the horizontal more than the vertical.

Balancing the two lines of life is different to mixing them.

If we balance the two lines of life having chosen the vertical we get more the vertical than the horizontal.

Balancing the two lines of life is not about adulterating either one. It is intelligently choosing one and staying in the centre of the chosen option.

Mixing means to 'water down' or adulterate. A 'watered down' activity or teaching does not reach its originally intended target.

For example, an activity done by human beings for the spirit is an activity of the vertical line. When we mix that activity with elements of the horizontal, the purpose and nature of the activity changes and the activity is no longer reaches the spirit. A meditation mixed with the social eventually becomes a meeting of 'like minded' people drinking tea and talking about meditation.
