In the Don't Want to Work State - Use Diplomacy - (4400)

We as a person in our centres like in our emotional centre for example, don't want to meditate or look inside or practice and sometimes it is the mind that just doesn't co-operate with our intention to practice by quietening down or allowing us to focus our consciousness. So when faced with this situation inside of ourselves we can do something else that we have yet to do like things around the house or use another approach - diplomacy and negotiation.

Just as professional negotiators appease and solve very tense and difficult situations we inside of ourselves can do the some with our mind for example. Let it run a little, just watching it wonder off and slowly reign it in to quieten down. Same thing with the conflictive or opposing emotions, do something like a practice or activity we feel like doing and then slowly once we feel better slowly redirect the emotions towards meditating and or practicing and go ahead with our practice.

It may sound childish, however there are so many times when we fall into this state and don't do anything about it and just stay stuck and get nothing done at all, not even something as quick and easy as wiping down the kitchen sink...

Mistaken Functioning of the Centres Notes - (4395)

Intellectual Centre

Mistaken Functioning - Intellectualism

With the intellect we create intellectualism. We receive knowledge and convert that knowledge into intellectualism. To stop doing that we need to meditate deeply on that piece of knowledge so to understand it. When we understand any piece of knowledge we balance it into our human machine, that is we act upon it or apply it.

How is Intellectualism Created?

What happens Master Samael says is that knowledge gets trapped into the different "I's" that we have in the intellect. That knowledge then takes on a wrong course. Which has two branches: more intellectualism feeding pride and intolerance and misuse - that is using that knowledge to harm or disadvantage others. 

Intellectualism and Illuminated Intellection

"Intellectualism is the opposite pole of intelligence. It is very different from illuminated intellection."

Intellectualism is the mixture of the psychological "I" with information acquired through the external senses; intelligence is an attribute of the Being, it is a faculty of the superlative consciousness of the Being."

Keys to Work With

To know that an "I" in our brain is thinking. Non-identification with the thoughts. To know that we are not the thoughts. To know that we are not thinking really - that it is one or another "I". 

Work to possess an individual mind. A mind that works on its own findings and information and not one that just thinks what any "I" thinks. A mind that is independent of the intellectual processes of the "I's".

Emotional Centre

Mistaken Functioning

Negative emotions are the mistaken functioning of the emotional centre.

Negative emotions have their root-cause in mechanical associations and in the identification with ourselves and others.

"The intellectual animal looks at life through the information stored in the centres and when an exterior event does not coincide with certain information, the result is a negative emotion."

The false concepts that we have about ourselves surely provoke inferior emotions.

Remedy

The non-expression of negative emotions.

To sacrifice our own suffering. When we don't sacrifice our sufferings we create so many different "I's" especially resentment.

How Beautiful it is to Meditate on the Sun and Be With the Sun - (4396)

It is so wonderful to go to the Sun, to be there mediating early in the morning waiting for its rising.

When it is risen, there is so much solace shining down. 

The SUN is our Greatest Father, the source of our life, our governor and the central point of intelligence of our Solar System. 

It has witnessed the folly of human beings since the beginning, it has seen where we have gone astray and where and when we have done well. It has all seen all the solutions to all the problems and so Our Beloved Sun King may you help us by guiding us to the solution to the problems and difficulties that we face in our human and spiritual life. 

May you help us to be complete your experiment of forming part of solar men. It is certainly our deepest wish.

Head and Heart Balance and Femininity - (4397)

I read recently from a very well known contemporary Gnostic author that when a woman develops the mind and forgets the heart. That imbalance between head and heart eventually begins to take away from the natural feminine qualities gifted to her by the Cosmos. By cosmos I would even say by the Divine Cosmic Mother. 

When the above happens, women lose touch with the feminine qualities and instincts and dislike anything motherly. This may happen for a long period of time or just for a while depending for how long the heart goes ignored and undeveloped for. 

This could also, why not, happen to a man. In this case the overuse of the intellect would lead the man to become out of touch with his natural masculine qualities, also gifted to him by the cosmos.

Terms: Self-Love, Self-Compassion Clarification - (4394)

In this post I am going to give some clarification about these two terms which cause a lot of confusion here in the English speaking world and often due to that confusion, we don't work effectively on ourselves in these areas. Which is really not a helpful thing.

Self-Respect

This term is very clear and is not held in confusion. It is either the case of knowing or not knowing what it means. In both English and Spanish the meaning of this word coincide. In both life and in the work the meaning of this term agree one with another. Only that the work gives it a spiritual dimension.

Self-Love

Lots of confusion. Like self-respect it contains a 'self' and a virtue in this case - 'love'. So logically it has to be about a virtue directed towards oneself. Which is all fine. The question is which 'self'? If we see 'self' as really what self is - the Real Being in us, then self-love is love to the Being in us. But if we see 'self' as the false self the 'myself', then we have self-love as meaning love for the ego and the personality in us. Which is where Gnosis comes in and explains that self-love is really an ego that brings us all much suffering. The famous - the ego of self-love. But when self-love refers to the self as the Real Being it is something sublime and a great remedy for much of our sufferings that come from the egoic self-love.

In normal English usage 'self-love' is understood to mean to look after ourselves in all respects. It can sometimes have a negative connotation where that refers to conceitedness or selfishness. In self-help circles it is to accept and love ourselves just as we are which has some positive aspects to it, in the sense that it changes the negative way we see ourselves, but it needs to be raised to a spiritual octave to become truly transformative.  

In summary, it is better to differentiate between the two by saying, 'love for the Real Self 'and love for the 'false self'.

Self-Compassion

Lots of confusion. There is the real compassion for ourselves that kicks in when we falter or fail in something and works in us to help ourselves to get up and repair. Then there is the type that is negative that only wants commiseration and wants to wallow in sadness, misery and in the state of having failed or fallen short or not being good enough etc. This negative type likes to wallow in sadness and make things worse even but does not want to look for the remedy and make efforts to accept the failure and get out of the hole. But the real self-compassion sees our errors, has compassion for them in the sense of not judging them and then has the love to work to get ourselves healed and out of the hole. It is very much like how a doctor works. The doctor works to understand the illness and then work to get the patient better no matter what it is or how it happened.

From the Gnostic point of view whenever self-compassion is mentioned we all think of the negative type, the self-wallowing type. So it is good to understand that Gnosis talks about the need to eliminate the negative type of self-compassion which is full of judgement and sadness and not remedy and hope.

In summary, we should call them real self-compassion and egoic self-compassion. Or another good word for egoic self-compassion is self-wallowing.

War Makes Love Real - (4394)

There are true horrors in war. No one can deny that or even justify that. As all is dual there are also true acts of love in war. True acts of kindness that stand out to be remembered through out all of time. It is a real paradox that why the conditions of war make those acts of love to be true acts of love... 

In what other way could it not be love than to respond to the call of another in distress putting all of us on the line against every fear, selfish interest and instinct of survival. Only war provides the maximum of conditions to prove the deepest love, loyalty...

In so many ways love is proven in the times of war. In so many ways such as: not going to war, as giving your life for that of another, as risking your life for that of another, foregoing food rations for a week for others, in risking your life to find medicine for others, for being tortured to ensure the well-being of your companions and the success of a mission...

There is the God of War. In contemplation it is confusing as to why there even be a God of War. But there are wars and there are wars. Wars for greed, for power, for pride, then wars for justice, for the defense of people and for the spirit... It can only be that the God of War be the one to lend a hand in the wars for the spirit and the wars for justice.

How could there be real love between man and woman in the domestic setting with everything really so available and obtainable with little effort. A modern life, cars with air conditioning and safety features galore, every house appliance... But for the spirit a battle field opens. It is in the battles for the spirit on the path against the different "I's" and negative influences, that the love between man and woman is proven. 

Its for sure not the only place where love shines or is proven  - the battle field... But it is the only one that can not be mistaken and always shines as real.

A marriage between two 'poor devils' to one day receive the spirit is no doubt a battlefield...

Don't Bring the Abyss Expecting Light - (4393)

We can't bring our abyss expecting to get light from others...

Bringing our anger or frustration to others is our abyss. 

If we bring and give others our light, the light inside them will respond and naturally shine to illuminate some of the darkness that they have within, and come to understand what there is to be understood.

When we bring our abyss, for example our anger, self-compassion, negativity, resentment, fear etc. we only cause the darkness in others to appear. We either provoke the same to appear in them (anger, self-compassion, fear etc.) and they become identified and so then all that they can do is defend, counterattack, feel bad and the last thing they really do is listen. Or if they do listen by chance, their fear listens and does the correct thing, but in doing so fear gets stronger and because fear is an ego it can be displaced to do the opposite and the problems continue...

Balance is within from Moment to Moment - (4392)

We can't find balance until we find it within ourselves first. When we decide or chose then we can resolve and come to a balance within ourselves. 

Once we have chosen our centre point to balance around we can balance our external environment.

Then when we have balance within we naturally have the force and intelligence to go through any difficulties or problems that we have to go through to establish the balance.

The balance also changes from moment to moment, depending on what the moment brings. However the overall balance will remain the same.

The real balance is like 60-40, 65-35 or sometimes 70-30. But not 50-50 as this only provides unbalance and lots of conflicts and great swings of the pendulum over the very small details of life.

Control, Dying and Others - (4388)

The real control is the control over our own reaction inside of ourselves when things happen in an event.

No doubt to control things means to control people. We can't control any event or outcome of an event without controlling people. We control others physically or psychologically. However, more psychologically.

We often control out of fear. Because we don't want something to happen we control people to not do or say certain things often make happen what we don't want to happen. 

Maybe out of ill will we control people. So that someone whom we dislike does not receive a certain benefit.

When we are confident about being able to control the our own inner psychological reactions we don't need to control people and the event. Anything can happen and we know that we will be able to control and transform what erupts inside of ourselves, then we are really free of controlling.

To be free of controlling means dying in all those things that within us have to have things happen in their particular way.

Notes About Avoiding the Abyss - (4390)

Important to know that two abysses don't make a heaven. If one is angry don't get angry thinking our anger will solve or improve the situation...

When one abyss appears, stop, time out and just walk away is more beneficial to the situation and to each member than continuing to talk or listen...

If in the abyss, time is all key. Too long and all becomes impossible...

Once in the abyss notice and make ones way out. How one goes out is not as important as one getting out.

In the abyss, all is confusion, non-understanding, attack, blame, error, wrong, unsurmountable difficulty, pessimism even extreme pessimism...

Resistance Constructions and Deconstructions - (4391)

When two parties are in resistance - that is resisting the other or resisting reality the situation becomes impossible.

When just one party drops the resistance the situation becomes workable.

When there is n resistance in both parties life flows easily and effortlessly.

Ease with reality overcomes resistance. 

Resistance does not overcome ease or acceptance of reality...

Bringing resistance to overcome resistance does not overcome resistance. Bringing ease with reality to  face resistance does overcome resistance...

In summary, resistance constructs resistance and acceptance of reality brings down resistance.

Gnostic Student Physical Body - (4384)

In general the condition of the physical bodies of many Gnostic students is not all that good. Understandably so because to care for the physical body requires a lot of time and effort that takes away from the time and effort that as Gnostic student we need to put into practicing and working psychologically and esoterically.

To get a physical body in top shape is almost a full time job and we just don't have anywhere near that time, and frankly the desire to spend time doing that either, as it does not free us from our suffering and karma. 

None the less to ignore the physical body is not correct as it is one of the three very important relationships that we have (body, environment and consciousness) and it is the physical temple of our inner Being.

Well the intelligent way for a Gnostic student to look after the physical body is to join the looking after the body with the psychological work. Which would mean being strict with the egos that harm the health of the body. 

Which means to work seriously on laziness, gluttony, lust, self-compassion and anger. 

We find duality and the need to seek balance. Because if we look after the body too much we forget the work on ourselves and think that marvelous health will solve all our problems. Some of them yes for sure but certainly not our esoteric and psychological problems.

Inner Castle - (4389)

We really need something like an inner castle...

There is a law called: "The Law of Interior Spaces".

An inner castle is my way of saying that we need some inner space that is has been put aside, is always there and remains free. 

To work on ourselves we need to some free space within ourselves no matter what is going on.

When that free space collapses inside of ourselves we can't do too much but become very identified and lose some or all control of our work and often ourselves or our life for a while.

We have to create it and then guard it just like a castle with its moat.

We need some area of peace within us to do some work. In that area of peace we can keep outside of our abyss and be able to see things with some kind of sanity or normality. 

As soon as you decide to go inside in the difficult moments you have access to it. Just staying there is hard bit. What helps us to stay there is the emotion of hope. 

Trust in how the castle works helps us to go there too. Trusting that going to the inner castle will help - really helps us to stay.

Faith in the castle is the strength to maintain ourselves there. Having faith in the castle is having strength in the abilities of our consciousness to help us.

Bread and Wine Notes - (4387)

Introduction

This post is a collection of notes on the subject of bread and wine which is an ancient subject much older than Christianity.

Notes

The bread and wine are one representation of the balance between spirit and matter.

Via magical formula the spirit contained in matter is released, but does not escape from matter. It remains loosley with the matter it has been relased from so that it can act freely and function freely.

The Spirit in this case, are the Christic atoms.    

There is a uniting and collective aspect to the bread and wine. It unites and shows us that the spirit of the released Christic atoms is unity. Almost never is the bread and wine given to one person.

The Christic atoms link us all to the fight for the same cause. There is such a beautiful teaching that says "when love is present He is present".

Lust within a person destroys the values of the bread and wine.

When a person takes the bread and wine they receive Christc atoms in their throat. The only other way to receive Christic atoms in the larynx is through the Alchemy.

The best ways to approach the bread and wine is to align with the Spirit of the Christic force. Which is the movement of sacrifice and unity.

The christic atoms enter teh blood of those take the bread and wine and then these atoms strengthen the Humbledzoin which is known as the blood of the Being. 

The Humbledzoin is a substance that is in our own blood that carries into our physical body energies of our Divine Monad.

Blood is a life bridge. The Christic force has been described as being the 'powerful astral mediation that links our physical personality to the solar emanance of the Father". Christ and the blood are both mediators and are intimately linked.

Traditionally it is a priest who offers the bread and the wine. This is because the bread and the wine are the mother and the Father's role is to fecundate matter (bread and wine) as He is the Spirit. However as the bread and wine have already been fecundated - the Father releases the Spirit from the bread and Wine. The Spirit is the Christic atoms. Which is also the son of Spirit and Matter. That is why Christ is the cross because He is the son of the Spirit and Matter.

There is a rich history to do with he unctin. Master Samael in teh Quinto Evangelio speaks beautiofully about it. This history as Master Samael explains is tied into the history of the Holy Grail.  

Why bread? There are many explanations which tell us why bread. One of them says that bread is made up of five elements which correspond to the five main ingredients of bread. Which are flour (Earth), salt (fire), oil (ether), water (water) and leaven (air). The four elements also correspnd to the four seasons. As each of these ingredients are harvested over the four different seasons.

The bread and the wine are related to the last supper. Which was a very esoteric ritual that had as its purpose to link Jesus to the apostles. That is to link the master to his most trusted disciples. 

We see here in the purpose of this ritual how the bread and wine are like the Christ in that they perform a linking function, a function of mediation just as the Christ mediates between master and disciple and spirit and matter.

More on blood...Breath, blood and semen are the three most magical substances, and are those which correspond to the three logoi. Where blood corresponds to the second logos.  

When the bread and wine are celebrated together it links all present in a superior spiritual octave.

Blood links and in our blood there is a link to our karma. To our ancestral karma. There also exist the very famous 'blood pacts'. Blood is used in such pacts as it binds and contains energetic substances of our own being and so it can be sworn upon as it is the same as swearing upon our deepest honour which is our Real Being - our Spirit.  

Blood is a link that works on the astral level and blood is an astral vibration. That is that is where it vibrates most perceptibly and powerfully.

Each body, astral, mental adn causal contains a different level of Humbledzoin which is the blood of the Being. The causal body logically has the highest degree of Humbledzoin.

If we have the astral body we can influnece more the astral blood links favourable ot unfavourably. After the last supper ritual the master is able to materialise his or her astral body for sometime until the astral dimension calls it back once again. In the case of Jesus that period of time before the astral called his physical body back was said to be 11 years.    

Blood is a also a powerful bridge between the essence and the physical body. It is a kind of an electromagnetic link.

Lust is Any Wrong Relationships to the Sexual Energy - (4386)

Lust is not just lusting after some one of the opposite sex. It is any kind of wrong use or relationship to the sexual energy. We understand that the right use of the sexual energy is to serve the Spirit in us. 

Any kind of wrong use could be avoiding the sexual energy, being scared of it, disliking it etc. etc. Which is also lust.

In relativity there are many relationships that are worse than others. In general the uses or relationships that are not comprehended and instead are somehow suppressed end up taking on other degrees of  complexity that they originally were not at all about.

Space in Alchemy - (4385)

We need space to do everything we need to do. Both physical and psychological space. Also actually esoteric space.

Even to practice Alchemy we need space. Of course for anyone the most important space is psychological space. Esoteric space is also important as it ultimately allows one to practice or not.

Back to psychological space. If one has created a space within one's psychology to practice Alchemy one can practice. This space is like a refuge or a fortress. A space that we can go to within ourselves so that we align with the principles of Alchemy and we can bring our centres into alignment with the practice.

When we don't have this space we can't reliably practice Alchemy. We become a victim of circumstance, both outside and inside of ourselves.

To have this space means that it is created within us. There is like a steady and solid structure made within us where we go to and it does not disappear if the physical or emotional conditions are not present. It still exists and we can turn to it and from there practice the Alchemy when called to.

More on Individuality - (4380)

Individuality once again is when we have created a space of free essence within ourselves and we can go to it any time and operate, decide, think and speak from there.

This is the true order within us and sets up order outside of ourselves also.

We learn after much pain what the true order is within us and outside of ourselves.

We can with good intentions disrupt this order believing we are doing a good thing for others and ourselves and later on suffer for it.

We need our will to be an individual... To be an individual we need to rescue our will.

We need to be able to exercise it reasonably with balance and consideration. If we can't exercise it we don't have it.

We can exercise it at total random and subject to any whim if we like but we will notice that soon it will become trapped again or restricted because of the karma we get.

If the exercising of our will affects others we can intelligently work with others. Co-operation and good-will goes a long way.

When exercising our will towards higher values over lower values, informing but not conceding is more correct.

Not exercising our will in favour of higher values causes us to lose our individuality. Our entrapment or conditioning increases as we weaken our will.

Lessons from the Circles of the Abyss - (4382)

Introduction

This post comes from a study that we are currently doing with one of our groups. This post presents just some of the main lessons that each circle of the abyss offers to teach our consciousness.

Lessons

There is a lot of learning to be had in studying the abyss. This is because of the relationship between light and darkness. Consciousness is light and the abyss is darkness. Darkness can be converted into light. Therefore by studying our abyss we can convert what we have of darkness into light of our consciousness.

The main understanding about the abyss is that it is an inversion of the light. It is light inverted into darkness. So if we just see the opposite of the darkness we get the light. The abyss when we study it we see that it is an inversion of the tree of life. The different circles of the abyss contain the inversion of the Divine attributes seen in the Tree of Life. The Devil is God inverted.

1st Circle

Here we learn about definition. That there is greater value in taking a decision and sticking to it. There is even greater value in making the wrong decison then not making any decsion. That there is greater value even in taking the wrong side than not taking any side. This circle is Limbo where people are neither here nor there. Here we learn that not taking any side is selfish and it is opportunistic and being opportunistic produces a lot of stagnation - i.e. limbo.

When we make the wrong decison we can soon enough learn that it is wrong and reverse it or at the very least learn a lot.

2nd Circle

We learn about the relatonship to the sexual energy in this circle. About the correct relationship with the sexual energies through seeing one side of the wrong relationship. There are other sides but these sides are seen in deeper circles of the abyss such as in the seventh circle.

We all learn about the sexual energy early on in our life. How we relate to our sexual energy from there onwards in many ways dictates a lot what happens next in our life. Here in this circle of the abyss we learn how not organising, not intelligently or ethically directing the sexual energy has great power to rule our life and produce chaos in our life.

3rd Circle

Pleasure later becomes pain. This is because we go past the points of balance in the body.

We can avoid the pleasure and pain cycle by relating consciously with the sensations of pleasure. Which means using will to keep to the balance. Will in the sense of an inner kind of control over ourselves.

This inner control is correct. Often it does not feel correct it feels like we are depriving ourselves of enjoyment etc. But no-one is saying we can't experience enjoyment it is just up to us how much as to whether we pass the balance point and then have to deal with consequences which are often painful. 

The lesson is also that there is a realer joy in moderation - which is called contentment. Which is a stable kind of joy that is long lasting, unlike pleasure which is very short term and needs to be experienced again and again after experiencing pain again and again.

4th Circle

Here we learn about the Law of give and take. How it is so common to polarise ourselves with either side and not locate ourselves in the middle. We learnt that either side of this Law has harmful consequences for humanity, ourselves and the Earth.

Here we learn that the right thing is to give and to take. Not to be on the side of giving or spending or on the other side of saving and receiving the whole time. This applies to money mostly but to anything else where there is an exchange or flow. It could be related to services and favours that we do for others. We can't just give do favours for freinds all the time and not let them help us and we can't just get friends to serve us all the time either.

5th Circle

Here we learn about the relationship with force. We both learn about the external and internal use of force. 

When we use force against ourselves inside of ourselves we end up very sad and depressed. We learn here that sadness is the result of using force inside of ourselves against ourselves.

6th Circle

Here we learn about the relationship to power through seeing all the abuses of power. We learn that using power to separate people from God, from others, from family and causing divisions in groups and society is one of the worst wrong uses of power.

It is only really by the wrong use of power that can cause such separations. This circle teaches us that we should use power or authority to unite others, groups and people to God. 

We often due to materialism cause separations. Especially in spiritual groups, societies and communities.

7th Circle

This circle is about violence. Here we really find the "I's" of self-compassion. Where self-compassion combines with anger to become violence. Which is force turning to become destructive. The worst kind of self-compassion is the one where self-compassion invokes anger becoming violent and then with anger it begins to destroy all that is good and of value and all that is good and of value to us are: ourselves, nature (this includes others) and God. Hence the three smaller circles within this circle. 

So this circle is about the wrong relationship to compassion. How, due to failure we allow compassion to invert and become hatred towards ourselves for having failed or gotten it so wrong. The real compassion once again recognises the suffering and acts to repair and return one back to the path to success. Real compassion feels the suffering and acts to repair the suffering.

8th Circle

This circle for sure is about the relationship with the truth. This circle shows us how many different wrong relationships there are with the truth.

It shows us how the truth is indeed a very high value that pays off spiritually speaking and how not working with the truth really harms us and our spiritual work and the relationship to our Real Being.

9th Circle

This circle is about the relationship to loyalty and trust. This circle being the greatest antithesis of the Divine shows us that the greatest virtues are those of loyalty and trust.

A good thing for us to note here, is that if we work with these two virtues or qualities they will really pay forward in our spiritual work and development.

Once again the worst kind of break of trust is betrayal of one's spiritual master. Because the highest qualities are alive in such a relationship and so to break or kill such qualities it is of much graver consequence.

Conclusion

Through the study of the abyss we learn the right relationship to Divine attributes by seeing all the wrong ways of relating. 

The wrong way of relating are usually the extremes. The balanced way is the conscious way and that takes us up towards the inner Being.

General Principles About Learning from the Abyss - (4383)

Like the light the darkness has its shades. The abyss has its levels and each level has a predominate kind of darkness. 

Invert the abyss and get the light. The highest virtues in the light have their opposite in teh deepest levels of the abyss.

The abyss is the opposite of the light. Duality.

True profound lessons about the light are to be found with the abyss.

The abyss contains all the lessons about how human beings go astray from the light. How human beings stray and distance themselves from their Inner Being.

The abyss contains the wrong ways of relating to human beings, nature and God.

It can so happen that in a life we secure certain experiences for us to pass through in the next.

We may even be doing this - this life. What we are we anchoring now in this life to experience in the next life?

We may not want to be doing this in the way of suffering and the work on ourselves will ensure that we don't.

Introductory Notes on Individuality - (4378)

The top part of this topic is sacred individuality. There are really a few different types of individuality.

There are always degrees and degrees of everything. Things are worked out in octaves and octaves. Very few things are like a switch where one day there is nothing and the next day it is all there. There are some things though that are like that but not always. There is always usually some kind of process behind every thing that we develop in the work on ourselves.

So we need to start now working on our sacred individuality. At our level we can certainly do something towards it.

We can say that sacred individuality is achieved totally when there are no "I's". Sacred individuality begins to be achieved in the esoteric sense when we have fabricated the psychological moon. A significant level of development of the sacred individuality is when we have fabricated the golden embryo. In the normal sense of life we are individuals when we think and decide for ourselves and do things only because it makes sense to us to do them etc. etc.

It is also something needed for a successful relationship. 

To blend so much into become half of another person is not individuality and this does not at all make for a useful or successful relationship.

Both in a couple must be 1 (i.e. individual), because a true relationships is between two. So two full 1's are needed to make 2. Or we could see it this way that if we are only half of what we really are because we have blended ourselves too much with the other person, when we relate we are half times a half which makes a quarter. Because relationships are always an operation of multiplication not addition. When we relate we cross which is the mathematical operation of to multiply. Two people being less than what they really are makes for their relationship to be less than whole. Thus so many problems.

So for any true relationship to be true and to work it must be between two individuals. Relationships get better and better the greater the degree of sacred individuality has been achieved.

Being an individual is being what you are and holding onto what is yours. Which means living out and speaking out one's truth and not negotiating on what is truly ours.

What is truly ours? Our thoughts, our point of view, our feelings, our merit and dharma, our relationships, what we have honestly worked for, our consciousness, the values of our essence, our essence, of course our egos too...

Individuality starts in the psychological when we can separate from the ego. Being able to separate from fear is a big big part of that work.

Esoteric Vestment Notes - (4377)

Introduction

This post is a collection of short notes all to do with the topic of Esoteric Vestments.

Notes

Related to the temples, the inner Being, the consciousness, the essence...

Respresents merit, a degree of consciousness, a certain fabrication or result, a degree of realisation...

For example the white vestment represents chastity and chastity is a state of liberation from lust and a degree of crystallization of transmutation in the physical and internal bodies. The same thing with the purple vestment or tunic which is for those who have finished the great work, signifying liberation from karma and the myself (ego). 

The yellow vestment or tunic of the Buddha represents a degree of liberation from the mind. 

A body is nothing more than a vestment. A vestment is something decorates the essence. Therefore that which decorates the essence has to match the quality and qualities of the essence that it decorates.

Each internal body represents a degree of realization and therefore a degree of liberation at the same time. as realization and liberation go hand in hand.

A body such as the astral body as a vestment is a vehicle of life and manifestation in a dimension. In other words vestments allow a kind of vibratory affinity with other dimensions and invoke the manifestation of other dimensions in the dimension in which they are worn/used. 

Vestments serve as a kind of talisman. That is vestments made out of certain materials and of certain designs and certain colours draw and attract certain currents and forces in creation.

Vestments have particular functions. Vestments of different types are worn for different purposes and activities. Only certain vestments can be used for particular activities. Just like certain clothes are best worn for certain jobs or activities. Like a wetsuit is best worn going scuba diving or surfing.

We through the work on ourselves make our own inner vestments and then make them to shine. Which means to fabricate the solar bodies (superior existential bodies of the Being) and then to die in the egos which inhabit them making them to shine because the consciousness now more freely inhabits them. 

A vestment is intimately related to a temple. In a temple is where, more than anywhere else people and Beings wear a vestment. Why? Because a body which is a vestment is also a temple. Our body is the temple of our inner Divinity.   

The function of a vestment could be to invoke a certain force, or to eclipse an ego in us or eclipse the personality and bring out the essence in us. That is make us to vibrate more with the essence or a determined force or current. Esoteric vestments cause us or rather help us to vibrate with esoteric forces and currents.

Some temples hold vestments as sacred relics. Officiating in temples can not be done without a vestment or tunic of some kind. Vestments distinguish the esoteric from the activities of mundane life.

Everyone's inner Being has their particular vestment. Master Samael knew the vestments that the Inner Being of his students back in those times was wearing.

The vestment of anyone's inner Being expresses the mysteries of that Being and the ray as well as the degree of realisation that the inner Being has attained.

Vestments are a work of art. They belong to the column and ray of art. Each vestment tells a story.   

A part of knowing our inner being is to be able to see Its vestment.

Specific vestments are needed to enter certain temples. 

Vestments are also a sign of identification, they lend to being an expression of identity. Life knows about this quality as the many uniforms, and typical work wear indicate a specific identity. Fashion is a degeneration of this.

There is the tunic of the Divine Mother which is sky blue in colour and has twelve buttons representing the 12 signs of the zodiac which are the product of her gestation.

Vestaments worn by people become magnetised to them after a while and that magnetism contains their yearnings, their concentration and many of their internal states are imprinted onto it. After a while it becomes something esoterically personal as it has been used only while taking part in esoteric activities. Once a certain magnetisation has occurred such a vestment can not be transferred to others and it is best burnt if the vestment is abandoned.    

Vestments give those who wear them an: identity, role and function. 

Golden vestments are worn by those who have the bodies of gold.

The Typhon Baphomet of each one of us wins the right to wear the tunic of glory once he is freed from his role at the end of the second mountain.

Vestments are also related to the kundalini. As each kundalini serpent has its particular coloured vestment.

There is also the cape of wisdom, which one earns in the path...

The angels of death have their vestments as kind of a identification and work wear.

The symbols on vestments basically show the history (founding values) and particular characteristics of the temple.

Different Colours, Codes and Symbols for the Same System - (4376)

That's one thing that happens when we study esotericism: we are exposed to the chakras for example, and we learn from this source that a certain set of colours corresponds to the chakras then another source says that a slightly different set of colours corresponds to the chakras. Then we find the same thing with the elements - different colours for each element, then we find the same thing with the astrological star signs and then the same thing with the archangels then when we find different sources saying that different organs correspond to the different planets and it goes on and on...

So in the end we are left confused and we don't know which system of correspondences to follow or invest in...

Well the solution is to just chose one that resonates the most or makes the most sense to you and use it to connect to what the colours help us to connect to. After all the point of it is always to connect to the planets, the elements, the star signs, the organs, the chakras etc. etc. It is to CONNECT with our consciousness!

If one system of correspondences works well for us and we are exposed to a new set keep the old going as it works for you or if you chose to try the new one try it for at least a month to see what the difference is.

Also we don't need to impose our system or what works for us onto anyone else, because they may be using a system that works very well for them.
