It's You and Your Being that Walk - (4925)

On the path you and your Being walk.

It is a walk between you and your Being. 

At times it is very lonely. Like walking in a desert. 

As symbolic as this sounds, it translates to psychological loneliness. Where almost no one understands your thought, feeling and actions and thinks that you are wrong.

Though people may distance themselves, our Being does not. We think at times the Being distances Itself, but more often than not, it is us that distances ourselves. 

In reality the Being is more lonely than us as as our Being is the one that leads the responsibility of taking up the path. The leader is often the more lonely one...

When you know that it is really you and your Being that walk, as a duo, our main responsibility is to our Real Being who is the first one to take up the path. Our thinking, feeling and actions are accountable to Him.

Understand Our Life: Two Sides of Pride - (4922)

At some point we crossed the line, that is went a bit too far with our pride. Imposing our authority or will or force. We did it again and again in so many different ways accruing karmic debt as went along. Life after life we repeated the same pattern...

Then one day either because our karmic debt has become so great or because our Inner Being wishes for a change or we are working on or for the initiatic path, the pendulum swings to the other side…

Then we go to the other side where we are no longer crossing the line humiliating others, and it is us that is getting humiliated and we very often find ourselves in the lower position.

If this change were not to happen, we would never be able to pay our karmic debts due to pride and we would never be able to dissolve our pride.  

We understand that walking the path means to lighten progressively our karmic debt and dissolve our egos, especially our pride which is so strong.

In the case mentioned where the Divine Law intervenes, the Divine Law sees that there is not so many lives left and so an interval of change is needed to pay the karmic debt and hopefully produce some corrections to not accrue so much future karmic debt - thus the Divine Law helps us.

Duality - Opposites side by side - (4928)

So often we see two opposites side by side in life. 

Tall city mansions along side city slums. Poverty and wealth side by side. Pristine healthy nature along side polluted and poisoned waterways. Meek and content indigenous people beside large corporate mines pillaging the earth with sophisticated machinery 24x7.  A church next to a brothel, a hospital next to a church and many more...

This is because of duality and to teach people or rather those who wish to see and listen that we must learn from the opposite to ours and move to the middle.

The poor to be inspired and moved by the rich to come out of their poverty, and the wealthy to lower themselves from the lofty fantasy of themselves and come closer to the middle ground of giving to those in need, and appreciating life itself. Dropping the fantasy that we have time...

Each instance of duality is a great opportunity of contrast which serves to create light.

Two Sides to Apply the Virtue - (4926)

To consciously apply any virtue or quality of our Inner Being, we need to take into account the duality inside the virtue and the duality of the virtue, that is, its two sides.

We are interested in consciously applying the virtue because that is what we need to do die within ourselves. On one hand we need to dissolve the ego and on the other, we need to bring the virtue to fully replace the ego and educate the essence that is freed as we work on the ego.

For example to consciously apply justice we need to know about mercy and rigour as they are the two columns of the law and we need to know about the two extremes of justice. That is unjust because of being too lenient and injustice because of being too harsh.

When we know the two sides then we need to balance the two sides and we will apply the virtue correctly - that is consciously.

Love, patience, trust, chastity, wisdom etc. have their two sides.

Some virtues must be applied with another virtue. For example, wisdom and must be applied with love present. 

Within love there is remedy and correction.

Within chastity there is transmutation and then the two sides of losing the energy and the other side of retaining it but not transmuting it.

Use this formula for any virtue that you need to apply. It will save you lots of time in working out how to best and most correctly apply the virtue in the circumstances of your life and path.

Grateful for All the Things We have and Don't Have - (4921)

Thinking a bit, all that we have is that which we truly need.

All that we don't have is that which we don't need. 

We could have other things and because we don't need them, they would make life more difficult right? Like an illness, a leisure boat with monthly maintenance fees.

There is so much we can be grateful for not having - like ill-health, a sore tooth, a unreliable car, a painfully slow computer, unruly neighbours, etc.

If we have some of the above things then it is because we 'need' them for some reason. To learn something right?

When We Get Identified We Get Really Confused Thinking Everything we Think and Feel is Right - (4923)

When we get identified with some drama in our life we start to lose our common sense and our will power.

We get really confused thinking and feeling that everything we think and feel is right.

Then we make so many mistakes in our decisions that we normally wouldn't make.

We think its good to drop prudence and respect which we normally wouldn't do because of its known benefits, but when identified we think we are right to do that and then things get worse for us.

We become our own worst enemy when identified...

We Go Outside Because there's Nothing to Look for Inside - (4920)

Basically us human beings don't look inside ourselves because we don't have anything to look inside for. 

The work on ourselves gives us plenty of reasons to look inside.

If we were just to face life with an attitude that wanted us to know the deep reasons for things we would also end up looking inside of ourselves. 

So because the system in charge of the way we live, does not encourage us to truly know the deep reasons for why things happen to us in our life and why we are the way we are, we don't look inside ourselves and further more we don't have any reason to look inside of ourselves.

Technology specialises in keeping looking away from inside ourselves.

Karmic Debts and How they are Paid on the Path and in the Work - (4916)

On the Path and in the Work

On the path and in the work our karmic debts are all about learning a lesson so that we don't repeat the error. As it is by the law of recurrence that we keep repeating our mistakes accruing more karmic debt.

If we affected others negatively in the past and we don't remember, and we don't know that we accrued some karmic debt, that is all fine, until we now are on the path or in the work and we want to dissolve our pride and anger that remarkably unknown to us, was precisely the elements in us that affected others negatively in the past. 

Then two things happen for that karmic debt to be paid. The first thing is that we get affected negatively and secondly it becomes very difficult to dissolve our pride and anger. We actually tend to strengthen our pride and anger instead. Hence we suffer greatly...as the circumstances become more difficult to bear...

We soon see that we can't continue like this for much longer so we try to do something to pay that karmic debt. We try to get closer to help those who affected us negatively. That doesn't work - things only get worse and our pride and anger get bigger now with resentment added on top.

Way to Pay and Learn at the Same Time

Then what to do?

We know by virtue of the teachings that karma on the path is about learning a lesson and that lesson is learnt by consciously developing a value that we come to understand is the best solution to the difficult circumstances that life throws at us. As we develop it, it becomes a part of us so that we will naturally answer with that value and not make the same mistake again in the future.

The big question is: what is the value?

The value is hidden in the circumstances themselves...

What others are doing to us, we must do the opposite to them. If for example they are gossiping about us we must not gossip about them but remain quiet and be magnanimous, don't allow any internal judgment to be made about them. Send them understanding and good will.

That's the formula either do the opposite of what others are doing to us that negatively affects us or do the opposite of what our egos want us to do to them in these trying circumstances. 

In Case we Reject the Value/Lesson...

We find the value and we don't want to give it. Oh well we still have to pay - back to paying with pain.

Pain gets too much ok let's pay with the value. A little later on, we see that we still don't want to give it. 

Then we have an experience seeing what we did and we see how merciful really the Divine Law has been and we then decide to pay with the value to benefit and repair the relationship with ourselves and others.

How stupid have we been is the main thought and how merciful is the Divine Law and our Inner Being.

We see that our Karma wants our awakening and the realisation of our Inner Being... Before that we saw it as a misfortune, a curse or random egoical non-sense...

Then we gladly develop the value not caring about our thoughts and feelings as to who is right and who is wrong.

Conscious Relationship to Pain & Suffering - (4901)

Pain and suffering just like sexuality, love, balance, energy, consciousness, health etc. are real unavoidable issues that we must face and accept. The better we know how to relate to these areas of life and ourselves the better for us and others.

This post presents some guidelines on relating well with pain and suffering:

1.) Pain is unavoidable in this world with the physical body we have.

2.) Suffering which is psychological is optional. We can chose to modify it.

3.) A bit of suffering at first which saves much more suffering later is worth gold. Always choose gold.

4.) Everything costs and sometimes suffering and pain is the price. Be prepared to experience pain and suffering to get what you desire. No gain, no pain as they say. Fully accept the suffering and pain required.

5.) There is intentional suffering and mechanical suffering. Mechanical suffering gets you nowhere but intentional suffering used well (intelligently/consciously/) elevates you.

6.) Avoiding suffering creates more later. It is a mistake.

7.) The truth seems as though it will make us to suffer but after a short time it frees us.

8.) When pleasure passes over a the line of balance pain enters. It is painful to correct the unbalances made with pleasure.

9.) Suffering can be transformed into learning, growth and love for others, which helps others to avoid suffering.

10.) Don't allow pain and suffering to become part of our identity. We are not pain nor suffering. We are an essence whose unique and on real identity is found in the Divine Being that we derive from.

11.) Avoiding telling your truth brings suffering to us and others.

12.) Not being what you are or are capable of brings pain and suffering to us and others.

13.) Raise above good and evil and suffering will be much less.

Friends are about relating well. If we can make friends with pain and suffering we are relating well with both. Our friends bring us something and we bring them something. Pain and suffering try to teach us and when learn from them we alleviate them of their burden.

Karmic Debts and How they are Paid in Life - (4915)

Recapping a little from the last post (4914):

We have a karmic debt when we face unreasonable or unclear delays, obstacles, conflicts either inside or outside ourselves or both at the same time.

Well, the teachings of Gnosis tell us that we did something in the past... And now it is time to balance that...

The very valid question is: how do we pay and why are the circumstances this way?

The Basic

The basic teachings say, if we affect others negatively they will come back to affect us as equally as negatively. Ok easy to understand. In life the way karma processes is easier to see and understand. 

Through the circumstances we are passing through we are basically going through what we have made others to pass through.

We simply have to trust in the teaching until we know for sure by remembering the past that we did what we are currently experiencing to others.

So usually people just pull through and keep going until the difficult situation ends, and it ends when the debt has been paid.

The danger of this is that we are likely to repeat the same mistake and incur the same karmic debt. This can happen several times until we make the connection between our actions and consequences and then we break the cycle.

The Medicine

Karma is also a medicine. The medicine is the intelligence of the Law trying to teach us a lesson so that we don't repeat it. This happens now and then in life but on the path or in the work it happens all the time because the objective is to definitely pay karma and not accrue any more debt.

When we have to learn a lesson we are forced to learn it by paying something. But paying with a different currency instead of the currency of suffering where we just have to get through it, weather the storm, hold strong and fast while winds howl and the flood waters rise... 

The currency in which we have to pay this debt with and learn the lesson is giving a value. But what is the value?

The value is hidden in the circumstances themselves.

Accept the delays, conflicts and difficulties. Don't get angry by them, understand we are in this for a reason. Accept the right of others to make our life difficult and understand we are being negatively affected because we deserve it and we are meant to be learning a lesson.

Humility always pays so handsomely. In general humility is to know our place. In this case humility will show us that we deserve it, we are not innocent and that we still need to learn a lot. We don't know everything even if we believe we do.

Basically the value is found in doing the opposite of what we want to do in the whole difficult situation. We won't to protest and fight, run, cancel, give nothing and take all, insult and humiliate then the value is found in us when don't do those things. 

The power that we use in ourselves to not do those things and basically stop being angry and become sweet and trusting in justice is the value, is the lesson that we need to give to pay the and learn the lesson.

Karmic Debt Processing and Payment Steps: Introduction - (4914)

This post announces a two part series of posts that explain in general how our karmic debts are processed and how they can be paid.

2.) Karmic debts and their payment on the path or in the work on ourselves.

The motivation of these posts is to help us understand our life, because we all have karmic debts and to a large degree the way our debts from the past are processed determine the way our life is.

In general, we have a karmic debt when we face: delays, obstacles, conflicts either inside or outside ourselves or both at the same time.

If find any of the above in our life Gnosis tells us that we have done something in the past... and now it is time to pay...

What then comes to mind is: how do we pay and why are the circumstances this way?

The next two posts address this.

Four Parts of Wisdom According to Plato - (4913)

According to Plat0:

Wisdom has four parts to it.

1.) Principle of Correctness.

2.) Principle of Justice.

3.) Principle of Fortitude.

4.) Principle of Temperance.

Correctness

Something done correctly is the wisest thing we can do, as if it is not correct it will falter and fail many times causing us and others much grief. 

To know how to do things correctly requires wisdom. The effort to do things correctly implies effort of reflection and investigation. 

Often the wisdom to do things correctly accumulates from previous learnings from mistakes. 

Justice

Give and take the right amount. This keeps balance and keeps all things in their orbits. Things out of their orbit brings clashes and others receiving more unbalances and unbalance is pain in one form or the other.

Always give a little more, as this slight unbalance keeps things moving and flowing. Trust in the justice of eh Gods or Universe when we are thinking of bringing justice into our own hands. 

Fortitude

The best opportunities for wisdom come from the greatest problems and difficulties. 

Further still sticking through something to the end brings more and more wisdom. As more virtues are invoked and tested and the wisdom of the power of the different virtues deepens and widens.

Temperance

The result of  the learning of the two extremes brings the wisdom of the middle, the balance or in other temperance in all things.

Notes

Some other wisdom notes:

'0' in dreams can indicate wisdom. The more "0's" the more wisdom.

Wisdom does not usually bring happiness. Love does. Wisdom brings more responsibility and often bitterness.

Wisdom must be applied with love or compassion or heart otherwise the seductive power of wisdom leads one astray into error or misusing that power. Use wisdom to benefit and help others is the key.

Instead of Anger - Force into the Consciousness - (4912)

To be tried next time you are angry. 

Take this post out when you next feel angry and follow step by step.

When you are getting angry force is being liberated. Take that force and put it without mercy (that is without consideration to any part of yourself - pride or fear) into all into your consciousness.

Do the following with that force in your consciousness:

1.) Hold onto with force above all, to your Inner Being and protect your and It's dignity.

2.) Look deep into yourself for the truth about what is being said. If we have gotten angry there will always be something to look at it.

3.) Use the force liberated to accept what you find, without mercy or consideration to our pride or personality.

4.) See the solution and resolve with balance to act. Even if that be just to stay quiet and listen.

5.) With force in our consciousness pray to the Inner for light and calm and be that calm that it radiates out to those around touching their consciousness.

Just try it don't think about it, just do it!

Is it Edifying? - (4910)

"Is it edifying?" is a good question to help correct ourselves in any given moment.

Anything that is edifying for both you and me is something generally done by the essence.

Before any internal state and attitude sincerely ask: "Is this edifying?". 

An answer will always appear. 99 times out of a 100 it will be clear. Then we know what to do.

Solution to Sexuality is Relationship - (4908)

As mentioned in previous posts sexual energy is a tremendous force that we all have a relate to. The way we relate to our sexual energy is generally called sexuality.

All the virtues and values of our essence are ways of relating to an area of life. Sexuality itself is a value. The highest form of the value of sexuality is conscious/esoteric sexuality.

Whether we like it or not by the very fact that we have a sexual centre and sexual energy we have to relate to it.

We can chose not to relate to it but after a while it proves to be so strong that we have to look at and relate to it. Always the better we relate to something the better for ourselves and everyone else.

The worse thing we can do is to cut off that relationship to our own sexual energy. And people do cut off their relationship to it, by either castrating themselves physically, surgically removing their sexual organs, changing their sexual organs or psychologically castrating themselves by taking a vow of celibacy like the monks, nuns and Catholic priests of the world do.

To have the attitude that sex is something ugly, disgusting and gross is stupid, because whether we like it or not we all have to face it and relate to it and we have all come from it and we all didn't come from something stupid, and if it was gross and disgusting why did God use something so disgusting to create us? That would mean God is disgusting and so are we?

To be single is difficult. Because to be single one has to have dissolved or at least worked a lot on desire. As desire of any kind mixed with sexual energy causes new deviations to appear and for them to take on a life of their own. 

To be free of desire is no easy feat at all. IT authentically comes in later stages of the initiatic path with eh elimination of the three demons, with the first demon being the demon of desire. So before then it is best to be in a relationship working consciously with sexuality for the integration of our Inner Being.

The sexual energy is there to create and give life. If the sexual energy is made to align with the other centre in working for a cause then the intervention of the sexual does marvels.

Going to back to the root of the word: 'sex' we find two classes of roots word which all indicate implicitly or explicitly to cut or to divide. The latin root word 'sexus' and the old French word 'sexe' both mean sex or gender and the latin words 'seco' and 'secare' both mean to cut and divide. There is also a Tamil word which it is said to have influenced the origin of the word sex which is the word 'siku'. The is word also means to cut and divide. Indeed, sex or gender does divide the whole of humanity into two: male and female. 

We can see the truth of the above origin of the word to cut and divide in many way sin human life. It is also very much as Master Samael said, sexuality is a sword that can wound terribly or heal and benefit wonderfully. 

In Lemuria there was no sex. Only when the cut or division occurred was there then the sexes, sex and sexuality.

So what happens is that sexual energy merges with desire and creates another facet in us and as often is the case we can't express this facet openly because it won't be accepted so we keep to it quiet. In the background it grows and becomes stronger and then the sexual energy instead of unifying us cuts us into half making two people - one with a public life and one with a secret life where we fulfill our desires. This happens all over the world in many different ways, some more decent and others less.

Now days though that secret life is being rebelled against and people want to bring that secret life to be accepted by the public. Because they know that to have a secret life is suffering and that to be one is happiness. 

Even people change their sex because they feel divided or feel like they are two people. For example, a woman living in a man's, so has an operation to cut of his mal genitals so to become one.

The karma now days is that he sexual energy is being used against us dividing us internally because we abused it using it against so many others in the past and against ourselves at the same time. 

The solution to sexuality is in relationship, but with the proviso of relating well to sexuality. By 'well' Gnosis always says: consciously. 

When we relate consciously to something we balance and unify it when we relate unconsciously to something we go to extremes and create two poles, that is separation where conflict arises.

The Dance of Change from One Life to the Next - (4900)

How we change from one life to the next and how we also stay the same, is the theme of this post.

From one life to the next we change sex, from one life to the next we change nationality and hemispheres. From one life to the next we change colour, and from one life to the next we change social status from upper to middle, from nobility to peasant and from poverty to upper.  

It all depends on the karma we have and accumulate and the lessons that our essence must learn and the lessons that our Inner Being wishes to learn and teach his essence.

Each life has a secret, a secret reason or factor by which we are alive Master Samael teaches us. This secret always guides the course of our life. If only we could know it, could we then deeply understand our life.

We change from adulterous to chaste from life to the next and from cruel and forceful to kind and over complaint in the next. Because in one life we provoke the law of the Pendulum and we abuse what we were given and had and so in the next we have to experience the opposite to know the balance and pay for the abuses. 

In the dance of change from life to the next we see the cosmic laws governing us, the Law of the Pendulum, the Law of Return, the Law of Recurrence and above all the Law of Balance or Karma.

Then at times appears the Law of Destiny where the Inner Being in us pulls us up, raises It's bodhisattva from the mud into It's light... So then the lives of an initiate unfold for many reasons some of those reasons to serve to humanity and some for the soul and some for reserved for only the Inner Being to know.

Sometimes we move from poor health in one life to good health in the next or a few lives later on.

From being intellectually handicapped to be intellectually capable in the next. Many times to lose what is normal and regain it later so as to in truth appreciate it.

From a womanizer to a celibate monk. From the fields as a farmer to a writer in a stately office and manner. From a warrior to a coward. 

Once the essence tastes the light of the mysteries it always searches in one way or another for the light that it lost if it was lost.

The soul always seeks It's spirit and the Spirit always seeks It's Divine Logos.

What always stays the same is the essence and its timeless qualities... 

Knowing your essence I will always recognise you, no matter how far away in time and space you may be.

A personality to personality relationship is one that withers and does not stand the test of time, even many times within a single lifetime.

Align to Making Inner Being is First - (4910)

What has more priority in ourselves? We really have to know what factor has the most priority. Once we really know which it is, we can decide to make changes.

To know something about ourselves is often to eat humble pie. Eating humble pie initially tastes bitter but after a few chews it becomes so sweet.

Because we realise the benefit and we see the potential of what we can now do!

We see that the Inner Being in us is not first.

Though once we see we can work to change that, whereas before we couldn't do thing a bout it, but believe something untrue.

To make the Inner Being first is something really huge. It means to be a radically different person that only those who know abut the Being and are working for the Being can understand.

It is an inner revolution of point of reference and priorities.

It is a whole new dialectic or paradigm of thought and feeling.

Anyway, to start is the question!

Each day, a deeply sincere prayer to number 1 (Inner Being), to help start this momentous and colossal feat. 

Any revolution is made up of mini-revolutions. Start by doing it once and don't forget that purpose to do it again and again during the day and night.

It will accumulate, and one day it will be done!

Negative Thinking is Critical to Stop - (4908)

I watched a short video yesterday where a researcher was interviewed about positive and negative thinking. 

The researcher said that the scientific evidence is outstandingly clear that human beings get the most benefit covering the most areas of their life from stopping negative thinking. 

The researcher said positive thinking is great - keep it going. What is critical is to STOP negative thinking.

Gnosis says the same. Well let's do it. Be really serious and strict with ourselves and let's do it day by day, moment by moment.

I believe that to do this now is more important than ever.

Initially Set a Limit to Anger - (4909)

There are many steps to working on anger towards its full dissolution.

An initial good step is to set a definite limit to its manifestation.

Be fully committed to once anger passes this limit then that's it - just stop. Leave the room, walk away just stop, do whatever it takes to stop.

In many cases when there is a high level of respect, the respect we have naturally sets this limit and we don't cross that line.

But when we have little respect we need to set a clear line for ourselves.

Then work from there to bring this line back and back working on the dissolution of that facet of anger.

It's the anger without any boundary or limit that causes the most harm to ourselves and others.

That is the natural limit. When anger begins to harm others and or ourselves then stop.  

"An ARGUMENT is when you are trying to determine WHO is RIGHT. A conversation is when you are trying to determine WHAT is RIGHT."

Conclusion to the above is to converse instead of arguing.

All the Rays are Qualities of the Universal Spirit - (4907)

All the rays that we know of in Gnosis or can think of are all spiritual in nature. None of them are of matter. They have their expressions in living human beings and creatures but there is nothing in matter that says: force, medicine, art, wisdom, law etc.

Force, wisdom, art, law, life, death expresses through someone who is alive...

The rays are the qualities or virtues of the Absolute.

Trust in a Gnostic - (4905)

How trust worthy is a Gnostic?

A Gnostic instructor trust a student totally when it is clear that student has within him or herself made their Inner Being and the work towards it first in their life.

That total trust mentioned above unites two or more people in such a way that it transcends all else and is very powerful.

A Gnostic who works seriously and takes what he or she promises and says as real can be trusted.

Any gnostic person that lives and conducts him or herself with an ethic that adheres strictly to the work can be trusted.

Learning in the Evolution Process - (4899)

The essence learns through all the cycles that it is subjected to.

One great cycle is the cycle of involution and evolution. 

Evolution and Involution or Devolution form a circuit. It takes two opposites to form a circuit. One factor can only form a continuous line. Duality forms all the cycles and circuits.

About evolution and involution there can not be one without the other. They come together. 

The essence learns while devolving and while evolving.

We all carry within our essence the knowledge we have learned from devolving and evolving.

This knowledge is the knowing of life in the four kingdoms of nature. Human, animal, plant and mineral.

We learn about the ways of life in each kingdom. We learn about mother nature from the angle of the four kingdoms.

We learn about the laws that govern each kingdom. Incessant life and death is common to all kingdoms.

When we are human this knowledge allows us to understand and connect to the creatures in the animal, plant and mineral kingdoms. 

The main focus of life in each essence in evolution is preparation for the human kingdom. The guru divas guide, educate and prepare the essences in their evolution.

In evolution the essence prepares and works to live well as a human being and in involution the essence suffers dissolving all the mistakes of human life and learns what was not learnt well in evolution and in human life. 

In each kingdom the secrets of the elements are unveiled and the Earth's more inner processes are learnt through the very life of a mineral, plant and animal. 

For example the life of any mineral is reveals the secrets of Alchemy within the Earth. Each crystal starts off as substances totally different in appearance and character yet though the secret Alchemical processes of the Earth these substances are transmuted into shinning, sparkling transparent crystals and precious stones.

Our Relation to Sexuality Deeply Affects Us - (4857)

Sexuality and sexual energy are a very important part of our life. Both of these two factors play an important role in our psyche.

Sexual energy is in every part of us. We are after all the very product of sexual energy. It is in our cells, in our mind and in our thoughts, feelings and actions...

We are all sexual beings and it is not outrageous to say that the topic of sexuality and relationships of one form or another occupies a good part of our thoughts.

Therefore the way we relate to sexuality and the sexual energy really determines how we feel in general, how move through life and how we relate to others especially the opposite sex.

If we fail in sexuality in any of the different ways to any degree we may begin to become angry towards sexuality and that will reflect in our interactions with the opposite sex.

The two extremes of relation to sexuality are to reject and or become indulgent to the point of being controlled by it. In either case both extremes are the wrong way of relating.

Being angry towards sexual energy and sexuality in time causes us to become bitter and difficult.

Any wrong type of relationship to sexual energy and sexuality always produces a schism in our psyche. This in time in guaranteed. We one hand appear to others as normal but due to that wrong relationship we have a different side that we don't show others or if we do it is at odds to our nature and profile in external life.

The conclusion to this post is that we should relate excellently well to our sexual energy and to sexuality. I mean that in the naturalist and most dignifying sense. It does not mean to relate well to what in Gnosis is called infra-sex and other things such as pornography but to relate consciously.

Callous Anger - (4903)

There are many types of anger, the worst though is the type of anger that I am going to call callous. Because it is devoid of feeling, and being devoid of feeling or any kind of remorse it easily becomes criminal.

If callous anger were to act we would be jailed. The only way to work on it is by means of knowing it by its thoughts.

It is anger that appears mostly after a while of extended pressure. It sometimes seems that the pressure provides a crack in our psyche where this type of anger can surface through.

It can appear all of a sudden however only when the circumstances are unexpected and very intense.

This anger appears by means of a switch. It is like a switch clicks and then that anger in is control and in possession of our human machine.

It is an anger that quickly goes to an extreme.

The only way to work with it is with the help of the Divine Mother and by displacing it as quickly from the three brains as we can.

The capacity to displace it gets greater the more we try.

Injustice of some sort is always the trigger of that kind of anger. But the extreme it goes is certainly not justified.

Hiding and Lying is About Non-Acceptance - (4904)

We may lie and hide (very similar) because there is something that we have not accepted yet.

It may seem that we accept everything but that is not true if we have hide something or lied about something.

It is something that we are not accepting within ourselves. In other words there is something that we are lying to ourselves about. We think something is not a certain way but in reality it is that way.

Once we fully accept something we stop hiding or lying. Because we no longer need to keep up some appearance that is different to the truth or to our truth.

It is better to make the effort within ourselves of accepting and presenting to others the truth so that they can accept than make all the effort that goes into covering things up.

Deceptive Gleam For You? - (4896)

What shines for you with deceptive gleam?

Deceptive gleam means things that shine and seem to indicate the happiness and triumph of the soul, but in reality they do not.

They appear to be representative of something real but in reality represent something else.

I'll give some examples of deceptive gleam.

• A person who owns a Lamborghini is not a God.

• A person with many university degrees may not know everything about him or herself.

• An attractive looking person may not be a good person or a conscious person.

• Having lots of money does not mean you are a good or happy person.

• Being poor does not mean you are a humble or more conscious person.

• Having suffered a lot does not mean you are wise or deserve a praise.

• Having a big house a very expensive shiny wedding ring, constant overseas trips does not you have a happy marriage.

• Occupying a powerful position does not mean that the person has power over his or her own egos.

• A very muscly and fit person is one that may not be strong psychologically.   

The list can go on and on...

Of course none of these examples may apply but at least the concept has been conveyed and we now have enough of a guide to find out in our particular worlds what shines for us with deceptive glean.

We must know that what shines for us with deceptive gleam is that which we one day, with our own consciousness, must clear from our way.

These things are removed naturally when our consciousness discovers the deception.

Strangely Offset Sad Face Listening to Talks - (4891)

I always wondered why some people really have a sad face listening to Gnostic talks.

Then one day listening to a talk it came to me. 

It is because we are too much in the personality. 

Being too much in the personality we feel that Gnosis is not important and we are wasting time or we feel that Gnosis is out of alignment with our life and interests and we feel sad.

How the Ego is Dissolved in Involution? - (4898)

By starvation!

I have often wondered about how the psychological aggregates of human beings are dissolved in the process of involution or devolution.

We know by the teachings if we are given the chance to dissolve them here in life but if we don't nature will take charge of dissolving it for us.

I reflect that in nature living creatures die: by violence from other creatures, by starvation, by accidents, by old age and by illness. As the ego is psychological and energetic it won't die by old age or by illness or by violence or by accident. Leaving only starvation as the only means of dying.

Furthermore, other creatures and the abrasive elements of nature take care of decomposing the corpses that living creatures leave behind.

The same in the process of involution/devolution that takes place in the abyss of nature or the entrails of the Earth. 

When the human condition is lost and the egos enter into the bodies of animals many egos are forced to die by starvation. They are the egos of the intellect. This is because animals do not have an intellectual centre and so all those egos of the intellect in time die by starvation. There is no way for them to manifest and receive impressions that would keep them alive.

As a plant the egos of the emotional centre die and as a mineral the egos of the motor centre die thus completing the process.

The order of death is motor centre, emotional centre and intellectual center. The order of liberation is intellectual centre, emotional centre and motor centre. The process of involution is a process of liberating the essence from its conditioning.

Why Now the Octave of Individual Responsibility - (4897)

I was reflecting about: "why is now the time of individual responsibility?" and I remembered a phrase from Master Samael, where he explains what happened in the Absolute before this cosmic day begun.

Master Samael explains that the Gods in the Absolute during the cosmic night wanted to initiate the process of a new cosmic day and the Cosmic Common Father said to them: "you will see".

Creation begun even though it seems that the Cosmic Common Father advised that it will come after creations begins will not be easy.

As above so below. When we disregard advice from a higher authority, and as we all have free will we are naturally left to our own devices which means - that we are now responsible for what happens.

Just like how parents say: "well do it, though it will be your mess to clean up if it goes wrong as we warned you that it could.".

Now days humanity has individually and collectively veered so far away from their Inner Being that our Inner Being can no longer do much but leave us to our own devices. 

So then the Being of each one of us has to work within this lower octave of individual responsibility.

Sometimes Some Things Can't Be Repaired But Have to be Burnt Right Down to be Constructed Anew - (4894)

With many things in life it is sometimes the only way to do things. The same thing applies to the work. Sometimes we have to just start all over again.

The reason why we sometimes have to take this approach is because things have become too complicated and things have become stagnant. 

If the heart is still there starting again will be beneficial. If the heart is not there burning things down may not leave enough strength to start again.

Attention to Motor Centre 'to Be' - (4893)

The centre of 'being' is the motor centre.

If we are able to focus our attention through our intellectual and emotional centres on our motor centre and be totally intellectually and emotionally attentive to our motor centre we are really totally present in whatever we are doing and wherever we are.

This is a peaceful state and it is also one where we can concentrate and align ourselves with the flow of life that comes from our Inner Being.

It is also a state of trusting in the flow of life, that whatever we are doing right now is right and is worthy of our full presence of being.

Facebook is Good for Matter and to Lull Our Consciousness to Sleep - (4895)

Facebook is very good at knowing our subconscious and therefore very good at throwing hooks which catch our subconscious and then the fascination and sleep of our consciousness follows.

The overall result of this fascination or sleep of our subconscious is for our psychology as a whole, to become more focused on matter, which covers a myriad of things: shopping, our appearance, our body, fixing things, entertainment, food, the issues and things of common life made shiny and interesting...

Seriousness in Quality Makes it Real - (4892)

If we are ever struggling to do with something not being real then the first thing to work on is to become serious in dedicating real effort towards quality.

When there is quality then it is undeniable that something is real.

Before there is quality in results there must be quality in effort. One follows the other.

To Whom Sets the Tests - (4894)

The tests of the path are set by those above and beyond us.

The tests are not set by ourselves and they are not set by those who are used in the test. Nor are they set by those who are behind us in the work - like a work colleague who we know is certainly not doing the work on him or herself.

We may say that a given circumstance or incident can not be a test because a person involved, reacted in the same way as they always do - so it is just karma or mechanical psychology at work and it is not a test.

That may be true that the person reacted in the same way as they always do but that does not mean that they designed and orchestrated the test = the incident. Some other factor beyond them did. They were simply used to make the test possible.

The tests are set by our Inner Being and the Masters who are beyond us, and they set the test using people who have predictable and programmable reactions for a very defined purpose. Which is to test a virtue of our consciousness in a particular way and to also impart to us a specific lesson about that how that virtue works within and outside of us.

Conclusion: the tests are set by those above us and for a specific reason.

Now is the Octave of Individual Responsibility - (4892)

In times gone bye there were the temples and the masters. All a sincere seeker of the light had to do was to dedicate him or herself to gaining entrance into the temple...

Once admitted into the temple, all was taken care of. One had to dedicate him or herself to the teachings, practices and order of the temple, and results would follow. 

Now days in the octave in which we find ourselves in, there are few temples and few masters. There are masters yes but they are not like those of times gone by with the powers, knowledge and faculties.

Now days there are no physical temples of the mysteries whose didactic of teaching and practice takes care of your aspirations to the light. 

We are all left to ourselves... 

The responsibility of us applying the teachings and practicing them is up to us.

Now days success is granted based on finding the teachings and applying them with dedication to quality. The more serious we are in demanding application and quality from ourselves the further we travel.

Whereas before, success was granted by being admitted and degree of submission to the order, teaching and practices of the temple.

Different times we live in, all has to be for a reason.

Not Knowing Good and Bad - (4890)

Not knowing the why of a difficult life circumstance for example is good and bad. 

The bad is that not knowing means that we don't really understand why we are passing though such circumstances, and because we don't understand why, we find it very difficult to respond correctly so as to navigate out of them in the best possible way.

In other words, not knowing the karmic debt we don't understand why and therefore we don't know what we owe and we don't how to pay it as quickly as possible.

The good thing about knowing is that it forces us to know, it really piques our inquietude to know, and to know means we have to go to our consciousness and Inner Being to find out. Thus helping us to develop very important skills and to enter into closer communion with our consciousness and Inner Being.

Arcanum 1 Notes - (4881)

Introduction

The forces and principles of the Arcanum presented by the major and minor arcana of the tarot are ever present in the cosmos and therefore our very own lives, as we are all a part of the cosmos.

There is at least one of these principles of the major arcana influencing us and acting in and through our lives at any given moment.

To be aware of our life is in some ways to know what principle is acting on our life. 

The Tarot is a system of wisdom used to guide ourselves on the path and in life while walking the path. It can also be used as guidance in common life but fulfills it potential and purpose when used while walking the initiatic path.

Once we know what principle is active in our life we can straight away guide our thoughts and actions. Each principle is a ruling guide. If align with that guide we get the best. If we clash against that guide we get into error in other words difficulties.

These principles of the major and minor arcana of the Tarot are also in our Inner Being and so they stream out of our inner Being to guide and rule over our lives.

When we know what principle is ruling we then know what we can expect and so then we are prepared to roll with it and make the most of it. In other words, we will accept how things are and get to work and not suffer needlessly. We will understand that if we are suffering the answer is working in alignment with the principle. 

What To Expect 

When we are under the influence of Arcanum number 1 we can expect:

• Defining moments, so that a new octave may begin. Often defining moments are brought about by circumstances calling for definition.

• New beginnings, a new stage of the path and or life.

• The priority to start.

• The urgency to act.

• The necessity to create.

• The call to use will power and take up a new or renewed discipline.

When under the influence of Arcanum number 1 we can't expect to:

• Lapse in our will.

• Delay starting.

• Inertia ands laziness.

• Feelings of defeatism and unable to start or start again.

• Confusion in what we need or want.

Under Arcanum Number 1

Under the force of Arcanum number 1 we are called to work with the principles of the four elements. That is: Fire: will and energy. Earth: firmness and persistence. Water: intelligence and adaptability. Air: swift and free in thinking and movement.

The intelligence of Arcanum number 1 tells us to work with the constructive aspect of the elements so as to create the or bring about the new start.

Work with the creative energy (Ibis). We can't forget to draw upon our creative sexual energy for vitality, perseverance and strength. In other words channel the creative to create a new start. 

Work with the three forces to create. The Law of Three creates. Use the second force the force of opposition to make the intent to create something stronger and better. Do not allow opposite forces to wear away the creative process instigated by Arcanum Number 1.

Work with the stone. Which indicates the constant work of refining and strengthening what has been created.

Work with the staff. Which is will. One has to be expected to invest greater than normal quantities of will to get things off the ground and established in their firm march forward.

Work with the power of unity. Confidence, virality, faith, prayer, concentration are the powers of unity.

Virality is the number 1. What is virality? It is the power to stand up strongly within oneself. To unite one's forces and hold strongly onto them. 

Both men and women have virility. Virality should be used wisely up to the point where it is useful and then dropped back after that point.

① It is really important to make a start. If we never start we will never arrive. Everything is as it is because it was started or never started.

① The Inner Being within us is the start and the end. As everything has a beginning everything has an end. Therefore if the Being is number the Being is also the end. Because all ends are a start of something new. 

① If we make a start then the Being within us takes the following steps.

① Every morning we work with Arcanum number one when we start our day.

① Affirmative psychology finds its most appropriate place in unity and under the influence of 1.

① The values of hope, faith, trust and love are the main values of affirmative psychology.

① Number 1 is the heart 💓. Because if the heart fails all is at an end with our body and physical life. So the lesson is to start that which is in your heart and has heart. Number one is all about heart and combining mind and heart.

① At each morning, at the beginning of each day, remember our Inner Being! At the start of each day we are under the influence of number 1. That is why it is so important to remember our Being at the start of the day because we can then collect together what we are going to use our day for and that way we can make the most of our day and manifest all that we hope for, for that day.

① The axion of Arcanum number is 1 is great. "Be in deeds as in you are in thoughts". This means to bring down thought into action. If we work with this axiom we come into alignment with the force of Arcanum Number 1.

We can solve almost all of our troubles by interiorization.

We have to pay attention to our interior. All the time. to observe and to carefully examine all the psychological flavours that appear.

Spend time discerning what the psychological emotional flavours are really about.

So many times we say so many things about every angel of an issue... Then only to go inside and find just one psychological point within us. 

By the power of discovering that one psychological point, everything shifts and the many things that we have said all collapse...

This is how we get free.

We want to be tremendous interiorizers - to be one is the first step to be an esotericist and to live a different life that is much more profound than the common mundane life lived by so many of us, including us until we one day interiorized and meditated on an issue.

The key to concentration is to find something interesting in everything we come across.

We all naturally and easily concentrate on the things we are interested in.

We have to learn to see things of interest in the most mundane of things.

When we can concentrate our attention we open the doors to our consciousness which slowly reveals new understandings, insight and revelation.

This new insight and revelation is wisdom.

Conclusion we must cultivate the great tendency of mind to find something interesting in every moment and in everything and in every event and then focus on it and with focused attention will come insight.
