Cosmic Value of an Alchemical Couple - (3664)

A couple practicing the Alchemy has a high value. A high cosmic value.

A couple who are practicing the Alchemy are fulfilling a cosmic function. Yeah yeah we may think - cosmic cosmic - heard that before.

But it is true, how can we say that it is not of cosmic significance? Read on a little, I'll explain... 

The alchemy is the sexuality of the Monad and is primarily for the Monad. Of course the two human beings and the Earth benefit, though ultimately it is for the Monads, and the Monad is a cosmic entity who has a  cosmic destiny and the work of alchemy fulfills that destiny. The realisation of any Monad enhances the absolute, and how can we say that the absolute is not cosmic? We can't right?

The Alchemical couple in scientific terms are a circuit through which energy can flow. In an alchemical couple the energies that flow in that circuit are spiritual and of high voltage.

A circuit is always constructed for energy to flow, and flow or circulation only ever exists between two poles. Between two opposite poles is where the maximum flow exists.

There can be a flow of respect between two men, two women but in terms of all the energies and potentiates available in the cosmos - physical and esoteric, this flow takes its maximum high voltage form between two opposite poles.

It is worth saying that normal sexuality where the sexual energy is lost and there is no cosmic purpose or no Monad, there is no circuit. If there is no circuit there is not much spiritual life being radiated. 

With an Alchemical couple, if we are careful observers we can see the glow and the beauty. That constant hermetic flow of energy makes both to glow, and beautifies both. The haggard looks that life prior dealt out disappears bit by bit, revealing replenishment, beauty and sparkle. (Other types of sexuality don't really do that - i.e. beautify the person).

The circuit of the Alchemical couple greatly benefits those around the couple, as according to conventional and esoteric science whenever there is a circuit, energies of a new and higher order can be induced into it and made to flow in that same circuit. 

If there is a flow of energy there is also a radiation of energy which benefits those in proximity.

So in a Gnostic centre the Alchemical couple is a generator of spiritual energy.

That's why I am very happy about Mr. and Mrs. C, as now, cosmic forces will be able to radiate outwards to their group and also cosmic forces will descend because now there is a circuit upon which those cosmic forces and energies can be induced into! And through that circuit certain forces that wish to help the group members can make their help more effective.

All these things we don't perceive, but given the contrast, then before and after we can perceive them.

Bad No-Thinking Start = Effort to Transform - (3663)

No-Thinking

The best thing is to start the day with some disciplined no-thinking. That starts off our staying awake effort for day on good-footing.

A good start usually converts into a good day's effort.

But say we start off on the wrong foot. Like thinking superfluous stuff while driving to work. We can still do something. We don't have to take that lying down. We can convert a bad start into a good delayed start of course.

It is that way that to get something back requires a touch more effort. 

So then, if we were dreaming for 25 minutes then we need to be concentrating as essence for 25 minutes. Then we level the scales and to go for a few more minutes tips the scales to a good start. 

Of course after having being dreaming, to concentrate the essence requires some effort. More effort than if we we had not been dreaming.

Moral of the Story

Try hard to hold onto the good work we do.

Combinations and Associations - (3662)

Combinations

If I am not mistaken there is actually a Law to do with combinations.

Creation in nature is the result of the combinations of many different elements. 

Master Samael says that:

"Mechanical evolution is processed according to the Laws of Cause and Effect, the Laws of Associations and Multiple Combination".

There is a small branch of mathematics all to do with combinations and probability.

Basically in the Law of combinations different elements combine together to produce a result or outcome that is different to the two or more elements that were combined. 

Many time the order in which the different individual elements are combined influences the result or outcome.

The Law of combinations is also very prevalent in our mind.  

One thought combines with another one and then that combination associates with another thought and we end up feeling dark and sad. when it all started with a seeing someone in front us accidentally drop their wallet before paying for their lunch at the counter.

Often this happens we have a neutral thought and we end up feeling rotten due to precisely this mechanical process of combining and associating.

Associations

There is no doubt that our own mind thinks incessantly via associations. There are in fact several different types of associations that our mind uses.

Learning what these are really opens our eyes, as we discover that so much our mentation is based on the mechanical associating of things, and we believe our thinking to be a genuine and original initiative.

Master Samael says the following about the types of mechanical mental associations:

"There are two types of mechanical associations which are the foundation of the opposites:

a) Mechanical association by means of ideas, words, phrases, etc;

b) Mechanical association by images, forms, things, persons, etc.

An idea is associated with another, a word with another, a phrase with another, and the battle of the opposites follows."

There are also associations where we associate:

1.) Sequence: like pen to paper, ship to sea, shovel to trench, gun to violence etc.

2.) General to particular: animal to elephant, view to landscape,  mountains to snow, 

3.) Whole to a part of the whole. For example: cat to whiskers, cat to soft paws, car to wheel etc.

4.) Object to adjective. For example: Earth to round, coin to silver, ice to cold, lemon to yellow etc.

These associations actually form like the four different roads of thought.

Interesting he says that they produce the battle of the opposites, duality.

Master Samael also says in a recording, that combinations and associations form the basis of relativity and duality.

The Virtue of Your Being Can Not be Made to Fail - (3660)

Certain endevours that we undertake in our work really depend totally on certain values within us not faltering, actually, they are values of our Being that can not fail.

We can not make those values to fail! We have to hold onto that as if it were the last thing we have!

The payment of a certain karma depends entirely on key values not failing!

There are many examples of this.

Master Samael said in Mexico that if he were to lose even a drop of sexual energy the whole Gnostic movement back then would fail.

In a guru and disciple relationship, rebellious and obstinate pride for example can not be made to go out of control. Humility, balance, respect etc. must be active vibrating above all other factors in the disciple. 

In a Alchemical marriage, transmutation, supra-sexuality must take wings and be above all other forms of sexuality. 

In the third factor, disinterested love and sacrifice must be more present than any other elements and so on...

Accumulated Sexual Energy is Not Like a Pile of Gold Coins it is Different - (3661)

We may see in our oneiric experiences the sexual energy as golden or silver coins or as precious jewels. This indicates to us its high value, its merit, its potential...

How the sexual energy is felt inside of us is more important. That is our reality in relation to it.

The sexual energy we accumulate is not like a pile of gold coins. Where we may say that losing a bit, say just like a few coins off the top of the pile makes no real difference because there is still a whole heap of coins left.

That is the materialistic and common way of thinking. The esoteric way as taught by Master Samael differs in thinking and feeling. 

Another point to consider in relation to this, is that a person may not as yet have developed a contrast within themselves. A contrast is developed when the transmutation has been developed to a higher level than the level of the normal sexuality within the person.

The sexual energy is energy, not coins, and that energy is a flow of life, light, will and consciousness that when we transmute, we connect and draw closer to our inner Divinity, to the source of life, energy and light within us.

It is more like an electrical current, than coins.

So losing sexual energy then is weakening that connection, that current flowing in that circuit. When the current stops flowing the opposite appears entering to fill that absence of the current.

Yearning and Pain - (3659)

Introduction

There are particles of pain of the Father in our essence. These particles are there for a reason, that reason being to push us towards the Father we have in secret within us.

These particles have their role in us. They make us restless. They make us to look up to find a solution. To look for their remedy, to look to soothe the irritation, to heal the wound. 

The yearning of the Being becomes in us the yearning for the Being. The Being yearns to find Itself.

It is good to know that yearning is like hope a causative factor. It wishes to cause the bringing down or bringing closer of what we yearn for.

Prayer

A person yearns with all their heart to find something of the soul. What can they do? Pray and pray and work and work. 

Often people resort to praying. They pray with pain. Hoping that the more pain we pray with the closer we are going to get to what we yearn for. 

Pain Made into a Bridge and Path

We can begin to believe that pain can become a bridge between our state now and what we yearn for. We believe that if we maintain the pain we are going to be sending a message loud and clear to the Being, to the Masters that can help us.

When we do that we actually bring pain into our life and we live amongst a painful backdrop. We make pain our path. 

We come to believe in pain, if something does not hurt it is not real and it won't ever happen. 

What curiously happens though is when we do get it, we don't believe it. We believe we are unworthy of it and it will just all turn sour or disappear.

Fascination with Pain

In that state we can become fascinated with pain. The fascination with pain only actually makes us more asleep. 

When we get to working we start to stop feeling the pain and we start to stop being fascinated with the pain we feel. 

Pain is not the actualization of the goal. Just like the thought of the person is not the person.

Love and Pain

"Why give me that yearning if I can not fulfill it", one may say in pain. This is when yearning becomes painful.

Love and pain share a kind of relationship. 

From pain the sparks of love can surge forth, and a love unfulfilled becomes painful. 

The unfulfilled love if we are not careful, converts itself into pain, bitterness, hatred and we go against what we loved before.

This new hatred or going against takes the form of skepticism, resistance, opposition, non co-operation. In other words pride. Pride because we feel humiliated, that that thing proved too high, too good, too hard, too something or whatever for us to reach...

Skepticism

Skepticism is non-acceptance. We no longer accept but reject and that is to become skeptical. Often resentment takes the form of skepticism. When we tried to go closer to the Being or reach out and grab something, but failed, then, in the humiliation, the pain, we become skeptical and non accepting of It. Then rebellion follows. The smarter person will know that even not being able to reach the something just now, it is still better to keep working and paying as rebellion will only bring down more pain and suffering. One day the work will pay the debts and change things.

The Obstacle of Karma We Have To Know - (3658)

Karma is always some kind of obstacle, some kind of delay, some kind of standstill, some kind of block, some kind of pain, some kind of wanting to move forward but yet one can't... Even it is something that whatever one tries it just gets difficult and does not work out.

It is very important to know that this is karma. 

What is even more valuable is to accept that it is karma. That is due to some kind of debt, something that in the past we didn't do all that well, and we ended up breaking harmony and balance. 

To accept that it is karma gives us a great relief and allows light to enter into our psyche and with light some emotional clam.

When we accept this, the next clear step is to want to pay the debt. A part of wanting to pay the debt is to know what the karma is for and what we did to create it. Our consciousness can be marvellous and it can tell us where that karma has come from.

If it is due to the things of this life we can readily find that out. It gets a little more difficult when it is due to the past beyond this life. 

For certain, without doubt we will know, what will make the karma worse! Here is a point of leverage, our point of escape.

We have to stop the karma accruing. When there is no karma things flow along so easily. Things naturally fall into place.

So knowing the above sentence is a relief, it gives great hope that it shows us that if stop accruing new karma and begin to pay what we owe the block that bothers us so much will fall down, revealing open doors and easy or much easier sailing.

Be the Headless One - (3656)

That's it be the consciousness that looks out at the universe.

When we look out we don't see our eyes nor our head. We are like headless, we just have a ball of light on our shoulders - our consciousness. 

In our thoughts we are an object, we stop being the subject (the one that looks) and we become an object (one being looked at).

If we are the headless one we help ourselves to squash vanity. 

We think about ourselves in the third person as if we are an object. For example if our name is David we pretend to go into the minds of other people and we think thoughts about ourselves like “David did that well, David messed that up.” Trying to mimic what others will be thinking about us. 

What happens is that we leave our seat as the headless one, as the headless one we remember ourselves and we are more our consciousness.

Fantasy is a Macadamia Nut and is Really Due to Compensation - (3657)

When we try to greatly reduce fantasy, we get overwhelmed how much of it there is in our day.

Fantasy is really a 'hard nut to crack'.

Not just big obvious silly fantasy fantasy, but all other kinds of thoughts that are really fantasy as well.

Fantasy draws energy from our sexual centre. 

If our sexual energy is drawn we have less feelings of well-being, less creativity, less will, less intellectual inspiration and so on... 

More importantly for the person working to weaken fantasy - having less sexual energy means less energy to decide and stand up against fantasy.

Fantasy totally ruins our effort to be aware or be more awake! Even just the simple thoughts that are not aligned or connected to the current reality ruin our effort to be more awake.

Concentration on the present moment and reality is the major antidote to fantasy. 

There are particular repeating fantasies. With heightened alertness we can see that before every fantasy there is a feeling of inadequacy or a pang of pain or suffering. Then to compensate for that inadequacy fantasy unfolds.

Unfortunately when fantasy is unfolding our attention is well diverted from the cause of the inadequacy.

When we fix the inadequacy that fantasy goes with it.

So we need to stop fantasy from unfolding but also uproot the various particular reoccurring fantasies.

Many fantasies are due to the wrong perceptions about things.

Long ago m.m.m says that the perception of humanity was altered, back in the time of Hyperborea from the realities of the Being to the fantasy of being here in the physical world fascinated with being a good citizen. The left over tendency to fantasize is what is active in us here and now clouding over our consciousness. It is really a conditioner of our consciousness that we have to remove.

Consciousness Notes - (3655)

Sorry a bit of a boring post. Just me jotting down some notes for a class I am giving tonight.

States of Consciousness

There are really many states of consciousness. Each minute puts us in a different state.

We see life through a state of consciousness.

Our state of consciousness creates our internal states.

The best thing in practical life is the right internal state. With the right internal state we can give the best answers to the events of life. 

Level of Being and state of consciousness are directly related.

There are contracted states of consciousness and expanded states.

What is the most important thing is the state of consciousness. 

Each state of consciousness carries more understanding or less understanding about ourselves and life.

Consciousness is above and beyond our mind and our affections.

Consciousness acts. It does not store information nor does it reason like the mind does. It knows directly.

It has the property of revealing and of making realisations. Such revelations and realisations are those which change the course of our life and change our internal states.

It is contained in our essence. 

It is us, it is innate to us. It is not: colour, sex, identity, it accepts all, encompasses all, is neither good nor bad and is like a mirror that reflects all for us.

It is independent of our body. It is not our body either.

It is exists in the now, the present moment. So in any given moment we can contact it.

It is not the thoughts. It is what is, between the thoughts.

It is our light, via which we can see. Light and consciousness are intimately linked. If we know the laws of light we come to know more about how our consciousness functions.

Attention

Attention and consciousness are very linked. We can bring our consciousness and make it to work for us when we focus our attention onto something.

So often our attention gets hooked. Mastery of attention is needed.

Where our attention is our consciousness is. Our consciousness follows our attention.

Attention is magic, it is a flow of life, intelligence and energy and love. When fixed on an issue it solves it, when we focus our attention on others and ourself we heal, we nourish, we energise etc.

Focused Consciousness, Diffuse Consciousness

We can focus our consciousness, like a spot light or the way a magnifying glass focuses the rays of the sun and we can have a diffuse consciousness that is aware of say a large area, like a flood light.

Even though there are more than several thousands of states of consciousness there are four broad classical states. Sleep, waking (vigil), self-conscious and awakened.

What we Want from Life is our Lack and is Already in Our Being - (3657)

Recall that which you really want, what you are missing from life and note it down very clearly.

These things are most likely very spiritual qualities that feel to you deeply fulfilling.

If we get something external, deep down in reality we are not really wanting that external thing we are wanting the deeper emotions that come from it. Like fulfillment, happiness, peace, purpose, dignity etc.

Well, the news is that those qualities or things we unfortunately have to find within our own Being. 

Even our own Being, our Father or Mother already has those qualities and they are waiting that we search for them inside of ourselves and begin to cultivate them and incarnate them.

Unfortunately it is truer that it is us that has to give those qualities to ourselves, by developing them. Which is a really interesting journey to do so and the most soul fulfilling journey and learning at that.

Blue Egg and Jinas - (3655)

Master Samael says that the chicken's egg has special properties related to the powers of Jinas.

He says the egg reminds us of the Orphic Egg or the cosmic egg from which creation gestated in and sprang forth from.

Wonderful - so how do you make sense of that?

Well, marvelous things take place inside an egg. From the fecundated yellow yoke and the transparent white albumen processes of forming and congealing and drawing in from space-energy take place.

So many new substances have to be made, organs, feathers, bones, claws, feet, a beak, eyes - my goodness me where does all those substances and atoms come from, that make those new parts of the chick. Magical processes really. It is a process of condensing energy down into matter. 

So with Jinas the reverse process occurs one goes from matter to energy. So the egg having the powers of creation, the egg also has the reverse - the power of absorption back into the higher dimensions, and this precisely is what Jinas is about.

The sexual energy normally goes down and out but it can be reversed using will and imagination to go in and up. If there is a downward force there is always an upward force. If there is a downward path there is always a return path.

So using concentration, will and imagination we do the Harpocrates practices with the blue egg for Jinas. That's why Master Samael said get an egg and imagine yourself to be inside the egg being acted upon by those forces present in the egg.

Person's Past Impacts You - (3654)

Introduction

If we want to work on ourselves, this can be a very good area to work on. 

The impact of hearing a  person's past depends on the person and on what their past had to do with. 

If the area of the past is important to us or we consider it important we will feel an impact.

Usually, we had other ideas about the person's past, and this clash contributes to the impact.

Usually we have negative ideas about a person with a past like we just heard about.

Usually that person will be in our field of life. If they are not we are not likely to be too phased.  

Things that Help Transform

The following things are something that can help us to transform these impressions.

Why we feel bothered is because we project that they will be like that again or they are like that now. Which is most likely not true. We must see that it is our own projections that are bothering us.

We find that we can't accept that they could be like that. The remedy to that, is to begin to accept, slowly, gently bit by bit.

Fantasy takes over in us thinking that they are repeating their past or will repeat it. When we begin to see our own fantasies we actually can't handle our own fantasies, and we start rejecting the person, but it is our fantasies that we are really rejecting but we don't see that. Basically we have not accepted that area of our subconscious yet.

Knowing about their past is bringing up what we have in our subconscious and powerfully indicating to us that we need to work on that. When we do work on that we see that the impact and difficulty of accepting it all diminishes greatly.

The work can do marvelous things. The Christ is there to transform the bad past into the marvelous new future. St. Paul and Mary Magdalene were tremendous examples. The Intimate Christ works this way!

People deserve a second chance and if they are sincere they can change. Haven't we already had several second chances?

We don't know about the past lives of people do we? The people we are fine with now, in their past lives were really terrible, maybe so terrible that we would not be able to transform that at all. Even the person who has had a 'interesting' past this life could have been a saint in the last life. Things work like that in our past lives, things swing from one side to the next.

The present is 'now', and dwelling on the past means we miss right 'now' and we are not relating to the real person but a phantom that our mind has made up. We then stop seeing the real person and only see the unlikable phantom. In conclusion, we are dreaming again.

Due to those experiences that person is the way that they are now, and without those experiences they may not be the good way that they are. They have obviously learnt a lot and because of that learning they are not going to fall back into that, but we not having had that learning can fall into that.

We have to check with ourselves, have we been the same? Maybe we were or are and just don't see that. Or were we just as terrible but in a different area, while they were saints in that different area?

Mind Impossible, Reset Button Energy Power Up - (3653)

The work with the mind can be really difficult at times. Thought after thought. Our consciousness gets tired and we just seem to only be able to notice the thoughts then let go. 

We don;t really notice how active the mind can be until we really try work with silence. When our alertness seems to be failing we need to do something.

A energetic reboot is one good way to get our consciousness to be back on top. 

Some very deep breathing, mantras chanted energetically, runes done intensely, some physical activity etc. all help to do that.

With that new energy we can resume our observation of the mind and focusing our consciousness.

Automatic Compensation Does not Address the Cause - (3652)

We have many compensation mechanisms in our psyche. Most of them work subconsciously. 

All of them that are subconscious attempt to make up for some lack or psychological discomfort or suffering.

These subconscious compensations do not actually address the root cause of the lack or discomfort.

They provide some relief, some forgetting but afterwards they take one back to beginning again, with the same void or suffering unaddressed.

The wise truth seeker would look deeper inside to delve into the actual suffering and find the real cause of discomfort.

When we break into that suffering we see that no one can really fully help us. Others can certainly help. But the solution is ours to forge. It is mostly a certain relationship with ourselves is not quite right, and it needs fixing.

People drink to not feel suffering, to feel happy showing by duality they need to
face the suffering, accept it, feel it, absorb it and transform it into feeling ok.  

I can't face myself, I can't deal with myself in that situation, I can't be with myself etc. It all boils down to there being some bad way of relating that is all packaged up in one ego or maybe two.

when one finds the egos at the cause, one sees how far away from addressing the cause the automatic response of compensation is.

The automatic compensation if we pay attention points always to a problem (sometimes exactly to it by duality) and in the case of fantasy it shows one by duality what qualities one is lacking.

Concentration on the Event to be More Awake - (3651)

Simple Goal

Many Gnostic people in the morning set for themselves a goal. One simple goal. To live their day being more awake. A little more awake than yesterday. 

Keeping this goal builds and accumulates over time, producing as only we can imagine - good things right.

To be awake during our day means noticing many thoughts and many egos. Noticing them, we can take some time to die in them.

In this post I am going to pass on a key from m.m.m. that has been very useful.

I am not sure why this is, for every one of us there are keys which work so much more effectively than others. What works to perfection in one person is 5% effective in another. Why that difference? Too complicated a mystery to contemplate perhaps...

Helpful Key

In each event, concentrate! As you concentrate on the event naturally you will begin to notice the various fantasies that you have about yourself and the event. Notice the fantasies and dispel them, or KRIM them or ask the Divine Mother to dissolve them. Just make them disperse though, that's the main task of this key.

Then concentrate again and as you do you will begin to see the realer nature of the event and your place and role in it. Then with our consciousness clear of cloudy fantasies we are being more awake in the event and we are living our day being more awake.

This key is a real pearl for those who fall asleep in events because the fantasies that they have, cloud their consciousness. I'll give you some examples below:

If we are walking, concentrate on walking left right left right etc. In a work meeting, concentrate on the content of the meeting knowing you are concentrating.

Examples

Walking along all dressed well for a meeting at work. "People are looking thinking - this that and the other...",  "auditors in the meeting are not looking too pleased", "A reprimand soon", "saved the day, diverted the scrutinizing eye of the auditors" etc. etc. Then later the auditors come back: "what about this?"-  diverted their eyes - nothing!

 

Walking through a 'well to do' area of the city, expensive apartments and wonderful views. "Maybe they'll invite me in for a cup of tea and let me see their view". "Maybe one day an old person with no family who lives there will see me and like me and put me in their will - ah just dreaming!". 

All total fantasy that cloud our consciousness over and cause us to fall asleep in the event and the day.

Concentrate the essence in the event and you will see the benefits, if this key is one that works for you.

In Absentia Lucis, Tenebrae Vincunt - (3650)

"In the absence of light, darkness prevails."

When we forget about our light, our consciousness, we end up lost in a lot of thoughts and emotions. That just seem to take us around the bend or in circles - no where.

Bringing our light clarifies and orders. We look to thinking to make us feel better but it doesn't really. The refuge is our light. 

If we just bring our light for five minutes, we can notice a big difference. Just fixing our attention on our breath making the effort not to think anything is really helpful.

Our light helps to order our psyche and dispels most extraneous thoughts by seeing through them.

We often to look to our mind for help or answers or order. But it just as often falls short. The one that helps and answers in us is our consciousness. 

No-thinking is a very helpful means to bring our light, so are the many other methods, mantra, breath awareness, body sensation awareness, remembering the being, concentration etc.

Emotions Don't Help in Times of Inner Turmoil - (3648)

When in a state of inner turmoil, certain emotions come to us. Some of these emotions come to us from others, from music, from movies, from memories, from our thoughts and fantasies...

But all these emotions don't really help us. They are usually a bit off track, missing the point and that does not help us.

Emotions are not really good advice givers. They change so often and the one that was advising us before goes and comes and others come and go.

What really helps is the clarity of the consciousness. A quiet mind. That is what we have to work on. 

Even a sound practical plan from a clear mind is more helpful than emotions.  

The control of emotions in such a state is very beneficial.

Sometimes to Find an Answer an All Nighter is Needed! - (3647)

When we really need an answer to something, and to our consciousness an answer does not appear, and to our petitions made during the day and at night nothing appears, we have to resort to an all nighter of concentration begging and begging for the answer we are needing.

We shouldn't really be afraid of that even doing several of them. 

In the end we have to do it, we have to resort to it, because not having an answer is really eating away at us, even burning us. There is nothing else that we really can do. The effort and sacrifice of doing this moves our inner scales to help us get an answer.

Pain and Pleasure - (3646)

Pain and pleasure are intimately related. If there is one the other is close. One is the cause of the other and one takes one to the other.

A person delves into pleasure beyond a healthy limit when there is something wrong, something is not quite right, or because something has failed (will, reason, common sense), or because the consciousness is absent, or because there is some pain somewhere or because they just want to... 

Well what do you reckon about that, they want to dive into pleasure knowing that empty pain will result and that when feeling the pain they will regret it. Still something is not quite right there. There is something not made fully conscious yet. There are still some contradictions there. Basically it says I just want pleasure and the pain. Who knowingly wants pain - only a sleeping person does. Anyway that is a contradictory state. I love and hate you. I like and dislike you. I kiss you and punch you. In that state we are neither here nor there. No one wants a friend who loves and hates you - are they a friend or what?

Anyway we have to find the injury or the cause of the pain so that the automatic response of pleasure seeking has little and less and less to compensate for or cover up for making us forget that pain.

I want to be Me! - Nonsense! - (3645)

We say that, or people say that, but they don't want to be themselves. They want to be the person with that house, with that car, with that job, with those children, with that happy marriage, with that wife, with that husband, with that lifestyle etc. Or the Gnostic person wants to be the person who has the Kundalini, who has finished the Great Work, who can unfold consciously into the astral, who can meditate profoundly, who has dissolved a lot of ego...

So often we don't really want to be 'me'! But we say that we do. Contradiction.

When we decide to look at: "being me" we discover we don't really want to be that either, because it is difficult to find a real 'me'. We find that whole collection of junk inferior interior states, concepts and senses of self and more and more stuff. We deeply feel that we want to be something different.

What do we have left to do or to be. Only to empty ourselves and to make way for It. Allow that stream of presence power, that gives us life to Be in us through our essence. That is what we all really deep down want to be!

Who was Born When You were Born? - (3649)

So who was born when we were born?

Our body, but not really. It was more the life in our body that was born. That incarnated once again. 

Some babies these days are born 'still'. and no one considers them to be born. Because a new life was not started. 

And so then, who are you? If clearly we are not the body we are then that new life of the baby aren't we?

So you are life, consciousness, energy!

Sex as Function - (3643)

From an esoteric perspective sex is seen to be more a function. 

What is important to the esoteric perspective is the energy and the elevation of that energy into higher levels of Being. 

Sex is used to produce a shock that helps elevate that energy to a higher level. 

Most of the work of maintaining that new elevation, and preparing for a new shock of elevation is done within the person themselves, in their psychological work along side their devotion.

From the current society perspective, sex is seen as more than a function. It is almost offensive to people with the common view of society, to consider sex as a function. Sex is 'the spice of life' they say not a function. The sphere of sex can increase and even can become a way of life, an identity, a defining characteristic, in fact many lifestyles are built around it. In this day, this is very easy to see. 

With fascination and identification a thing takes on a state that is much bigger than it really is. The classical example of "making a mountain out of a molehill". Identification exaggerates and veers away from the real, where the real is seen as disappointing or scary.

When there is fascination or identification the view taken is not trustworthy as being true.

A way of life was first a recurrence that later became a habit that later became a way of life.

When something is a life style we are in "hook line and sinker". 

The esoteric view is one of freedom and the societal view is one of being trapped. 

Being in the esoteric or the common societal all has to do with will. In the higher there is the will to be free and in the lower there is the will to need.

To effect a real change, a transmutation of will is required and this is difficult as the will in every aspect of ourselves is always strong. Will is strength. But with will it can be done. 

To transform will one needs a higher purpose. 

To transform 'need' to freedom is the question. The consciousness helps by cutting away the false, showing the real, revealing the higher and the way to shift to the higher.

In this case, of transforming 'need' to freedom, the key is making the esoteric view the new ‘need'. In the esoteric view, in the reaches of the Being freedom is found.

Energy follows will. Where we direct our will to, our energy will flow to. If our will is to the lower, our energy will flow there and activate and powerfully engage the lower. If will is to the higher it will flow there and infuse with the higher and start blending us into the higher.

What is the Flavour of the Relationship to your Being? - (3644)

Kneeling down and praying to our Being in a manner of openness and transparency of heart helps us a lot in dispelling some strange attitudes that we can develop towards our inner Being. 

Before we kneel down open up and pray with transparency of heart we can have some flavours going on in our mind and emotions.

What are those flavours? Perhaps: complaint, bitterness, frustration, distrust, doubt, incapacity of understanding, too hard, etc.

It is good to notice them and mostly praying to the Being with love dispels them. after praying it is good I think to evaluate if those strange flavours have gone. If not we have to get to work.

Regular non-mechanical, (praying with essence) prayer keeps the relationship with our Being going well.

Prayer is also action. Action is a living prayer.

Esoteric View Transcends Relativity and Duality - (3642)

The esoteric view of anything is the one that transcends relativity and duality.

That is its identifying characteristic. 

To be anchored in the esoteric view of anything changes our perceptions and changes our whole life related to that which we are viewing.

The esoteric view is that which is reduced to the core, to the essential, to the real, to what really exists and is not of a mental creation.

The esoteric view of sex for example transcends relativity in the sense that it sees sex above the human. 

We are human and if we only see the human side of sex we are only ever seeing sex relative to us. Further more we can see sex relative to emotions, imitation, popular views, past experiences etc.

No Answer from Interior Divinity, Ask the Guru - (3641)

If time after time we have begged our interior Divinity for an answer and we have not received anything. Then we have to turn to the Guru and ask.

The Guru is one that can contact our interior Divinity and knows already our destiny and can answer us. The guru has the quality of answering directly, clearly and quickly, sometimes immediately.

Well sometimes the Divinity gives a person intuition to find out the answer for themselves.

Classic Esoteric View on Self-Stimulation of the Generative Organs - (3636)

From the esoteric point of view, as is found in many esoteric books, where there is the loss of sexual energy, such a use is classed as something that draws away from the intelligent common sense use - which is the esoteric use of the sexual energy.

When the sexual energy is lost, a certain harm is done to the nervous system. The violent discharge of energy jars and shocks the nervous system. As well as jarring the brain. 

The relaxed inward and upward flow of the energy energises, heals and balances the nervous system as well as the brain.

The natural flow of the energy is for it to be returned to the Divinity from where it came. Instead it is sent illogically sent into space with no function or use.

Usually always the act of self-stimulation of the generative organs is done with fantasy. These fantasies create mental forms in the Etheric and astral dimensions which can be given life by certain low level invisible entities living in the inferior astral that then turn into little demons which tempt people in the vicinity to turn to sensuality.

Esoteric View of Sex - (3637)

Reason of Post

I think that it is very beneficial to the human being to expand its awareness to explore the higher dimensions of what is called sex. 

It is always the higher that orders, harmonises and remedies. While the lower brings disorder and difficulties.

To see the higher aspect of something creates an entry point in us, allowing it to access us, and allowing us to reflect on it. If we can not see it or allow it into ourselves we can not reflect on it.

When we learn to relate to something esoterically that is from its higher dimension we can do away with so many different functionings of the egos related to it.

In other words understanding deeply the higher dimension of sex we can help ourselves enormously in the work of the dissolution of lust.

Human beings have their view fixed in stone upon the human dimension of sex. 

Unfortunately now days, the above sentence is fast becoming less and less true. Human beings have turned their view downwards to know the lower dimensions of sex. And this as we can see in people and society is not really of much help. Human beings more than ever now need the view of the higher dimension. Well that is what I say, they may not say the same. The truth is though, everything has its two sides, its higher and lower.

Dilemma

The human mind being balanced after seeing both higher and lower allows the consciousness to appear.

With the consciousness present, a conscious choice can be made.

Knowledge of the higher aspect of sex is lacking so much that human beings have nothing to contrast with and so their consciousness does not appear and they can not be conscious regarding this aspect. They are instead taken by the general downward currents operating powerfully in society.

This is what is lacking terribly in human societies, there is no ability to make a conscious choice, because the knowledge of the higher is not present.

The mission of Master Samael was to bring this knowledge of the higher aspect of sex to human beings, so human beings could decide consciously, and define themselves for up or down.

Life Force

Sex is better esoterically understood using the term 'life force'.

A life-force that is magnetic and electric in quality. It can flow and radiate as does electricity and it can also attract as does magnetism.

Source and Descent

This life force emanates from an infinite source. From the first cause of the cosmos. From the Causal Logos which is the Sacred Absolute Sun. This life force is therefore divine in origin and nature.

This life force descends into life. 

In our case, it descends first of all from the Sacred Absolute Sun to the Monad. Then from the Monad down to their particular vehicles or bodies. Finding us here in the physical.

Once the life force enters a vehicle it is conditioned by the nature of the plane at which it lands and it is further limited by the imperfections of the individual on that plane. But it always remains divine.

This life force is given as a kind of trust to each individual, that it be held carefully and wisely and used to benefit both the individual and others. Like a kind of cosmic capital.

Two Principal Roles of the Life Force

The life force maintains in existence all that is. It preserves living life forms from being worn away from the many disintegrating forces that exist in creation. 

The life force maintains in creation all that has achieved a form, and it works to hold it to the level at which it has evolved to. This function is known as the Life Preserver and it is a force with a single aspect - no duality.

The second role is to create. For it to create it must take on a dual aspect. It must function in polarities. With the two polarities being positive and negative.

From here derives the esoteric view of sex.

Esoteric View

The esoteric view of sex is to see the opposite polarities combining to create. It does not see two bodies but two polar forces of specific qualities, described below.

These two forces have the differing qualities of being: actual and the other being potential. The first force, the male force, is an electricity, an electric shock, and the other force is a creating energy locked up in potential.

The action of the first force is an electric shock that instigates the activity of the creating potential stored in the feminine force.

The male force seeks to cause and to advance that cause, while the female force awaits the stimulus of the cause needed to unfold its form creating powers, where before the instigating shock it is passive or impotent to creation.

Positive being active energy and negative being potential energy, that is energy stored and waiting to unfold. Both are needed to be combined to form any creation. The potential energy can only turn active when stimulated or shocked into activity by the positive force.

So the esoteric view of sex is to see these two forces in action combining to create inwardly or outwardly.

Trouble is the Enormous Additions

Once one is privy to the esoteric definition and origin of sex, one can see how many superfluous things have been added onto it.

Furthermore all these superfluous layering prevents us from seeing the simple esoteric view of sex. We seem not to be able to embrace the simple esoteric view. We think it is too this or that. This is because those additions just have acquired to much weight which also blocks or confuses our vision. 

As the weight mentioned above reduces, one sees that really sex boils down to, sifts down to the esoteric view. It is just after all the combination of these two forces. 

Our task then is remove all these layers of misunderstandings that we have about the subject of sex.

Practical Conclusion

The way to work with sex is to go to the higher aspect and from there pull the lower up into it. The direct means to do this, is transmutation. 

The higher always governs the lower. If we are in the higher we can control and use the lower wisely.

One must ascend to the higher psychologically then transmutation will be effective at transforming the lower into the higher.

Vertical Line of Life is More Important to Everyone - (3640)

Our life is really lived as now, right now. And right now is always the entrance or meeting point with the vertical line of our life.

So every moment allows us to meet our level of Being or position on the vertical line of life. 

But people are not in the moment though. So not being in the moment does not allow people to embrace and develop their vertical line of life.

The consciousness is the one which can meet and enter into the 'now'. The mind goes forward or back in time but is not in the now.

On the vertical we have our level of Being and from our of level of Being we see life. The way we move through life and respond to life all depends on our level of the Being.

Our priorities and perspective of life are all determined by our level of the Being. Our contentment, our happiness, our fufillment in life, our understanding of life, etc. are all determined by our level of the Being.

Materialism and the predominance of the horizontal line of life will one day collapse because the human being is  primordially an essence and needs to be nourished by the vertical and the more we ignore the vertical the more unhappy human beings will become and the more we will need the vertical.

Two Minds Battle - (3638)

We have basically two minds.

This we are not really aware of. It is really worth being aware of this. Becasue as soon as we are we have a way to resolve conflicts and a way to be free opens up.

Master Samael says that really life is about a battle between these two minds.

These two minds are the sensorial and the inner. The sensorial works with the senses and the inner works with the consciousness.

One mind is a foreign installation and the other is really our own. The sensorial is mind is the foreign installation, made up of all the things we have learnt this life, all the things, from culture, upbringing, school, university, society, norms, customs etc. etc. 

The inner mind is the one that is really our own. It is a plane that allows thinking based on what is received from our consciousness. The impulses, perceptions, messages and understanding of the consciousness is converted into profound thought.

Our sensorial mind is the one that thinks up so many problems and difficulties all based on matter, people, events, emotions, people's reactions and hundreds of other things of the sort. It is also very skeptical and limited, almost fixated . It has a lot of difficulty understanding people and events.

When we realise though that there is another mind in us that thinks very differently to the above, things change. The inner mind thinks along a different line, one that has to do with trust, one that is clear, knows what to do and feels conviction in that, one that guides, that calms, one that touches our essence and shows us what we really want, one that dispels so many projections and sticks to reality, one that causes us to reside in its feeling of calm etc.

Then it is a matter of jumping from the sensorial to the inner by putting our attention on the inner mind. Then many things begin to change.

Two Lines of Life Everywhere - (3639)

Everywhere

The two lines of life: vertical and horizontal are everywhere, in the small details as well as in the big picture, among our thoughts, among our emotions, inside of us and outside of us, in our life's events, in our relationships, in our words, in our life's moments and in the stages of our life.

Human beings don't know about there being two lines. We only conceive one and so we only see one. 

Seeing only one does not allow us a choice, it only allows what has already been set up to continue along, just like we are set up on a set of rails with our future events already determined.

With the knowledge that there are two lines we can have now the openness to the opportunity to change. 

By experiencing the vertical line we definitely know that we can change.

A part of self-remembering is to remember the two lines. Self-remembering begins with the contrast of the two lines. When we chose the vertical line self-remembering continues and strengthens and carries us through further into the vertical.

To see the two lines of life is a mini awakening!

Big Ego Means Big Ignoramus in a Given Area - (3635)

The bigger a person's egos are, the more ignorant they are to the realities of the area of life those egos move in.

The crux of this post is that if we learn to relate to something esoterically we will be create space inside of ourselves to be able to gradually put the egos aside more and more.

That is where the teachings come in. The teachings expand our understanding to see those realities that the big egos can't see.

Usually the big egos have a very materialistic view, they only see the physical.

The teachings expand our view to see the psychological as well as the esoteric.

To study the teachings is helpful to dissolve the egos.

The teachings give us the wider esoteric view. When we relate to something in the wider esoteric way we can begin to be able to really change.

If we see the sexual energy from the esoteric sense we begin to change in that area, when we see money esoterically we also begin to change - less greed and selfishness.

A very interesting key is to begin to study the teachings and learn how to see and relate to all these things in life from an esoteric point of view. Then we give ourselves the ability to give the ego less and less of a role in the different areas of life.

Some Notes on the Esoteric Science in Sex - (3634)

Introduction

Presentation of some interesting esoteric details regarding sex.

Seven-Fold

Sex has a seven-fold scope. 

Sex is never complete considering only the physical. A more complete map of sex is to see it as seven-fold. That is as having seven dimensions, starting with the physical and extending to the spiritual.

Following Master Samael's teachings it even extends beyond the spiritual.

This point is totally ignored by the common view society has of sex, which only sees the physical. The "I's" of lust share this view. Actually they are responsible for this view. The view of lust is materialistic.

To conclude this point, if sex is at least seven fold, it has ramifications within us that are not only physical. It affects our emotion, our mind, our will, our consciousness and our spirit. Of course, in a beneficial or damaging way, depending on how it is used, and this is often also ignored.

Promiscuity and Fidelity and the True Value

Promiscuity is often the result of ignorance of the point explained above.

To the esotericist, the effects of promiscuity are considered on all seven planes. As pointed out above the effects will not limit themselves to the physical only. They will have consequences on the higher or more inner planes.  

The full value of sex appears when all seven planes are united. Logically this is evident.

To unite all seven planes means to bring all seven bodies of two human beings into union. 

The above does not sound easy. It implies much time, as a tender harmony between affections, intellectual sympathies, alignment of wills and an agreement of spiritual ideals all has to be struck or mated.

Of course anyone with "two fingers worth of a forehead" (dos dedos de frente) will understand that this takes time and is developed through an intimate relationship.

Promiscuity would not allow that as one would be starting this work over and over again with each new relationship.

Fleeting numerous unions can only touch the first plane, the physical, that is the senses and sensations. Nothing deeper results from that.

Therefore, to reach the full and true value of sex fidelity is needed. The truth is the full value, not just the first of the seven aspects.

Subtle Forces in Sex

When a sexual connection is made, the subtle forces of man and woman rush together creating like a vortex or mini twister.

As the energy of the two is not lost, the vortex can grow. It logically will extend as far up or internally as the union is taking place. 

If the couple love each other and are partaking of an esoteric endevour, work, they will be united on all seven planes, i.e. body, vitality, emotion, mind, will, consciousness and spirit, and their vortex will extend all the way up to their Being nourishing and transforming it.

If the their union is only in relation to body, that is they like each other’s body, through the senses and sensations the vortex will remain hovering around their physical body, not extending to nourish or influence the emotion, let alone the essence. 

In reality what happens in the above type of union is that the egos become active, then they drag this vortex into the subconscious where it feeds the subconscious, activating deeper subconscious elements and setting in place causes for further repetitions of this type of union. 

Karmic Links in Sex

When a sexual union takes place a karmic link is established. As well as of course a rapport. 

With sex the two bodies are linked, as well as both auras, and etheric bodies.

As an aside, in the case of two people there is a sexual sympathy when without sexual union the auras are able by virtue of their sympathy to unite and form a single auric shell. This is the origin of what is called ‘chemistry’.

If there is no vibratory affinity between two people the two auras will not mingle and form one. So there is natural protection. For example, when we sit next to any person because there is no vibratory affinity the auras don't mingle and all is normal - business as usual.

The auras unite, but also do the two psychological environments of both people. In that union of the two psychological environments an exchange of psychological influences takes place. 

It is then by virtue of these psychological influences that a karmic link can operate. If we act upon those psychological interests, likes, tendencies that we are exposed to when our psychological environment joins with the other's then we create a new ego and add the karmic value of that ego onto our scale. 

Those psychological influences stay in our psyche for a while, they dissipate over time, but none the less they collect there, and if a person has had many partners before there logically will be many psychological influences to fight against or rather use our psychological work to guard our essence against.
