The up definition happens when we are working on ourselves going forwards and we reach a point where to continue forward, we need to make a decision to leave behind the old and embrace the new. The down definition comes when we let go of our forward moving line and we slip back into the old and comfortable, and then we are faced with the decision to stay with the old or keep the present line going. The up definiton is the better one for our work. End (5764).

One very fundamental thing in relating to ourselves and to anything else, is to be able to see ourselves as we are. That is to see ourselves accurately, as close to reality as possible.   The ego of Pride blurs so much, the vision of ourselves.  I think starting with myself, we all have such a distorted vision of ourselves. If we have a distorted vision, we don't have a good relationship with ourselves. Because we are relating to something that we think is real but it isn;t really. It is something else, which contributes to so much misalignment. So much that we believe about oursleves is not accurate. It hurts the wrong beliefs about ourselves so much when those beliefs about ourselves are challenged.   Anger comes to defend those beliefs with counter-judgement and pride helps us hold onto them with arguments of denial, skepticism and justification. Each level of Being on the vertical line is a person with life circumstances that correspond.  A level up is a new person with new circumstances. To move up or down the ladder of the levels of Being we need 'to be' different. That is become a changed or different person. The solution to save the world is in everyone individually changing their level of the Being. Beyond a certain level of the Being conflicts are not possible.  With changes in our level of the Being come new circumstances. At every level of the Being there is an intersection with the horizontal line. There will always be this. At high levels of the Being the horizontal line that intersects has a narrower span of possibilty as the high level of being rules out so many circumstances.  At low levels of the Being nearly everything is possible...   End (5762).

We can be present for a variety of reasons. To listen carefully, to not make a noise, to observe something, to drive home safely for example, are all instances where we use presence. What are we present for is a good question to ask. Before presence there is attention and alertness. Attention first followed by alertness. Once we are present we can bring what we are going to be present to.  Say we are going to be present to the essence - to the soul. We would remember the soul in our mind and direct our attention, alertness of perception and presence to it. Then we can be present for our essence, i.e. self-remembering through presence. We save so much energy when we stay out of other's business. We have to practice it to see just how much. It also frees up much mental space.  End (5760).

When we need to dissolve pride because something within us needs to die in pride, the following happens: we are seldom right and while others are impeccably right, all falls apart when we are proud, tension won't leave us until we apologise and the more we fight back the worse it gets...  The game to play when we need to dissolve pride is to forget about being right. There is a higher cause to serve with a much greater purpose than being right.  To remember that humility is a great power and the circumstances causing pride grief, are the way to develop humility and free ourselves from the aweful bottle of angry pride - having to be right even we are wrong.    End (5759).

The work of others can not become a bottle. We are all there to help others in their work, in the way best suited to their capacity, our capacity and the needed result/s. To be concerned that another person is working on themsleves or not, is really not our concern. To be concerned about that the work of others puts our consciousness into a terrible bottle of expectation, correction, judgement, frustration, worry and unnecessary sadness. I say unnecessary because they themsleves are not sad... they are all fine...  It is always the case that we have to do our work. Whatever crosses our way, our work is to be as impeccable as we can. That is to be best of our ability in that moment. If we think that the other should be working on themselves and shouldn't say or do this or that, we will react and defintely we lose our work. Can we remember how we have died in our past lives? We actually can. Anyone of us can.  Dying physically is always a metaphysical experience.  When we are about to die, some moments before dying, an angel of death is present, just as Master Samael says, and in those critical moments they can comfort and help us. Saying: "It's not so bad, it will be quick, it will be all over soon...". Knowing this, to die physically just really not be as bad as we may think.  End (5756).

About this Post This post presents some practical tips to help us stay out of our abyss (subconscious). Notes The foundational knowing is that nothing too good comes from our abyss. Another foundational knowing is that the less time we are there, the better. We do need to descend into our abyss to see and know, and as soon as we have seen, leave! The best way to study our abyss is with light and separation. We may go into our abyss. With awareness, purpose and above all separation, we can take away precious gems in disguise that when polished, will shine beautiful colours of light. Comparison does not solve the current situation. It may make it worse... It may give an idea or two, but it won't solve anything. It won't help us to accept what is going on either. It will give us arguments to protest and fight, but not to be at peace, accept and get on with what is in front of us.  It will give us an unsolvable puzzle.  We will use a lot of mental energy coming to the conclusion that our life is our life and their life is their life and that's all that can be seen or understood...  We will create a pattern of making ourselves unhappy and others too, when we bring comparison to them as a protest or point of argument. This is the best question to ask ourselves when we get annoyed by the reactions and response of others. It could be that we are provoking their replies that annoy us so much... We can ask ourselves" "what we do to annoy them?" instead of always asking ourselves and others: "why do they always react that way?". We get more light asking ourselves: "what do I do that annoys them?".  This is much better for slef-discovery. End (5753).

Introduction We need to know the different types of trust and when to use them. To stay using one can mean that miss out on taking the action that was needed. Often trusting in the Inner Being alone rolls over to the trusting in ourselves, and if we don't make that transition we stop the flow of further opportunity coming to us by not acting.  Sometimes we trust only in ourselves and we make a mess trying to control things. Sometimes we only trust in Life and we make many wrong decisions. Different Types of Trust The different types are:  1.) Trust in the Being 2.) Trust in ourselves 3.) Introduction This post presents some notes on the very common and necessary experience of the spiritual night. Notes A necessary stage we must all pass through. We all pass through it differently, depending on our degree of misalignment with our Inner Being. For some it is longer and for some it is more intense. A stage of purification. To die in an aspect of our egoic self is by far worth more than holding onto a few dollars. The freedom and peace dying gives us has to be worth much more than a few dollars. We can even pay hundreds of dollars for a few hours of peace and relaxation. But we surprise ourselves, we find that we are bottled up in something that in the end is only a mtter of a few dollars, yet before the option to die in a small facet we chose the few dollars. Prana is the energy of life, the energy of the primordial electrical hurricane that was present in the first instances of creation. It is an energy that came from the unity and still permeates everything everywhere as a unity, connecting life to everything. It is the networking agent uniting all of life. When prana appears and enters it brings life, where prana flows life sustains and when prana leaves, life too leaves, bringing death. Death then connects to life and prana enters again to bring new life. As prana comes from the unity it unites, and in unity there is always joy. Everyone feels happy and joyful when in harmony with a unity.  Prana as experience is joy. Prana is in everyone's sexual energy and the sexual energy brings all human beings joy. Pretty true right? What we judge, we end up finding it in our life over and over again. What we judge disappears from our life as soon as we stop judging. To stop judging, what we judge has to intersect with our life so that we can get to really know it, understand it and see that we are not above it, as we supposed that we were when we were judging it. Love does not really judge. It is what helps us to overcome judgement nad our expectation. End (5748).

In separating ourselves psychologically there are two fronts to consider. One is the effects of the impressions coming from outside and the other is the effects of the impressions coming from our subconscious. When we do separate ourselves psychologically we are there present as essence and we should start to feel the plenitude or happiness of our essential nature. If we don't feel the happiness of our essential nature, we then are not fully separated or isolated. Being fully separated from the effects of the impressions from outside and separated from our subconscious is how we can be calm in an envirnoment that is getting very heated with irritation. We can often separate from the effects of the impressions coming from the outside but not be separate from our subconscious.  End (5747).

If a person is hit and they hit back then the karmic cycle is complete. Either the debt is paid or more debt is created. However if a person is hit and they do not retaliate a debt with the person's (who got hit) Monad is created. With more hits this debt increases and the Monad Itself administers justice. This justice may take many forms. Often it is the form most appropiate to the life circumstances of the person and the will of the Monad. Overall we can always have faith in the justice of the Monad. Master Samael speaks a lot about the path of the razor's edge. Why is it the path of the razor's edge? This post answers this question. Through the answer to this question we will see how profound a description 'razor's edge" is. The razor's edge indicates a very fine line. Such a fine line is the line of balance.  Balance is an exact line. It is the mathematical meeting point between two opposite qualities. There is a spectrum to the left and a spectrum to the right but balance is a line, between the two spectrums. Any conscious quality is a fine line. A little to the left or to the right and the conscious quality is lost. We have to know how to relate to the things that we do that work out and to the things that we do that don't work out. We get angry with ourselves for doing or saying things that don't work out. That's one thing, now, when what we said or did that didn't work out is brought to our attention our emotion amplifies. Basically due to frustration. When we don't know how to deal within ourselves in relation to the things that we did that didn't work out, we get angry going outside of ourselves directing our frustration at the person bringing our shortcomings to our attention. If we can accept our shortcomings, not feel less or humiliated abut them, be patient with ourselves, apologise, look to understand where things didn't align, we are not going to get angry with ourselves and not get frutrated at the person bringing what didn't work out to our attention.   In this case anger is showing us that we have not made that area of our life consciousness yet.
