Why Don't We See the Defects in Ourselves but we See them in Others - (5702)

This post is a supplement to the "Hidden Side of the Psychological Moon" lecture. We see the egos of others so clearly and become bothered by them, because we have the same ego, and we are very identified with it. When we are very identified with an ego we have no separation, and so we can't see it in ourselves, simply because we are it. When we are identified with an ego in ourselves, it is tightly glued to us, and because of the fact that there is separation between us and others, it is so easy to see it in others. The separation between you and me is always easy to perceive. Because the ego is an egoic consciousness, when we see it in others, and it feels threatened because it likes to be the only one. Each ego likes to be the boss inside of us. It does this by dethroning other egos inside of us, plus it likes to do that outside of us as well. As it does inside it does outside. The ego in anyone really likes to be the only one present in the environment. To do this ...

Why is Something Empty? - (5700)

Empty words, empty promises, empty friendships, empty marriages, empty ideas, empty apologies, empty activities, empty plans, empty talks...   Going by how many expressions of 'empty' there are in the English language, it's not a far strethch to say that 'empty' is a common human experience and perception. What makes something empty? From my reflection, something is empty because it lacks the presence or the support of the consciousness or the heart… I think that we can say the presence or support of the consciousness is at least the presence of one of the attributes of the consciousness, such as the love of the consciousness, the force of the consciousness, the wisdom of the consciousness and the will of the consciousness. The support of the Divine Law and the Divine Being also make something 'full', or at least to have substance, meaning and significance. Something that is empty is totally the 'known' and is mechanical and superficial. It only has ...

To Extract and to Stop Extracting Payment of a Debt- (5701)

This post is for when we realise that we have a karmic debt with someone, and we are in the position of unknowingly knowlingly wanting to extract payment to cancel the debt. If we ever find ourselves deliberately for 'some' reason, wanting to extract something from someone, such as pain or suffering, that is by making them deliberately suffer. Where tears, anxiety, stress, problems, fights, stagnation are the terms of payment, then we have a karmic debt with that person and we are owed. Some debts that we have with others are really huge and now have to be paid not in the same way but over time so as not to destroy the lives of both people. For example, a person encounters a person who murdered them in a past life. That debt can be cancelled by doing the same. But now because both people are working spiritually, for one life to be taken by anther would be devastating for the spiritual work of both people. The debt collector managers within us are ill-will and the subconscious. ...

Offer Your Efforts to Awaken to Humanity - (5694)

From the tradition of the way of the bodhisattwa, the way is begin the day surrendering the merits of all our efforts to awaken, to others, forgetting ourselves. This is the way of trust. This is the way of the compassionare heart of the bodisattwa. We know and trust that if others are helped to awaken we will be helped by them to awaken to something.  We can all do this. As frequently as we want to, or feel that we, or others need. Really, precious are the people who do this seriously, every morning or every second day... Doing this, we get a glimpse for what compassion is, and a flash of insight into the tremedous compassion courising through the Divinities and their bodhisattwas. End (5894).

Transform Comments to a Higher Good for Our Own Benefit and Sanity - (5697)

This is a lesson for ourselves. A lesson about how to look after ourselves. We can not be reacting all the time. Getting angry and upset, manifesting negatively, turning normal circumstances into unnecessary difficulty and suffering. We can't. We end up ruining our physical and mental health and seriously upsetting and worrying others, as well damaging relationships, which in turn, eats away at our own exprerience of life. The key is to take every comment with a serious and real outlook to something positive and truly good for ourselves. It is really also a good workout for our consciousness... We don't do this for anyone else but for ourselves. This is also part of the key. Resentment and pride make it too difficult to look towards transforming something negative from another person, especially if there is some history there.  Pride and resentment just want to fight with the secret aim of extracting from the other person, the pain that we felt, and transform nothing. By knowin...

Insurance, Guarantees, Backups - (5693)

Human society life these days is all about insurance, backups, liability contracts, contingency plans, warranties and guarantees. We have all these things to protect ourselves from loss. Sometimes that loss is real, objects, money, information, skills and people are really lost - gone temporarily or forever. Most of the time though, insurance, backups and contingency are there to soften the fear provoked by the two worded question: 'What if...?" and the open ended thought: "Just in case, you never know...".  In life we have to have our backs covered. We have to look after ourselves first and don't do anything that risks our security, whether that be financial, physical or our peace of mind. Why is this? Because the main logic of life is to not suffer loss. To always gain, win and be physically, financially and mentally better off.  The principles of the work are different, It is not to win, gain, lose, be up or down, it is to develop the consciousness which somet...

Personality is What we Encounter First But Ignore - (5692)

The first part of ourselves that we really encounter more than anything else is our personality. Also the first part of others that we encounter is their personality. We don't actually realise this. Because we are the personality and we can't see it. In other words we are very identified with the personality. We believe that our real and true identity is that of our personality. Becasue we don't easily see the personality we instead focus on the egos we have. Which is good but they flare out much less than our personality which is practically there all the time. The personality is the structure that the egos express through. The way our personality is formed, conditions the way the egos express themselves. The first step is to make our personality passive. The true way of doing this is by understanding that it is our false identity. Our real identity is our essence. The next step is to then stop serving the interests of the personality (false identity) and start serving the...

Knowing When to Use and Not Use Imagination is CRITICAL! - (5890)

It is so important to know when and when not to use our imagination. The use of our imagination makes all the difference. It is our imagination that trips us up and it is our imagination that delivers us success. We use our imagination negatively when we project mechanically or unconsciously, which is not to our or anyone else's benefit. For example, someone is late, and being worried, we imagine them having had an accident.  In such cases we should not use imagination, just know that they are late and thgat is it. It stops there. The same thing when we are feeling unpleasant sensations in our body. Feel the sensations but not imagine anything else.  If we feel the sensations and nothing else, as if we lack imagination, we will help ourselves out so much. We won't activate the emotional cnetre which then activates our insticinvitve centre and the unconscious parts of our physiology, where we lose control and feelings such as panic and nervousness appear, all becasue of the nag...

Understand Someone Instead of Judging - (5689)

This is hard to do, but worth it. For example, say we see someone with a bad attitude, remember this exercise and make a conscious effort. Use our imagination to be in their shoes and look out from their eyes in the circumstances they are in, to be open to what they could be feeling. Stay there a minute or two and watch the antipathy and fascination start to release.  As soon as the fascination starts to go, things change in our perception. Judgement goes, and with the judgement, those feelings of magnetic dislike also go. End (5689).

Points to Help to be Accountable Everywhere: in the Work, Life... - (5686)

Good to have a study of these processes as represented below. So as to see how they work within us. Once we are aware of how they work within us, we can start to change one process for the other. That is let go of the victim loop and take up more the accountability process. End (5686).

Deep Meaning of the Ego Notes - (5688)

Introduction the ontological perspective it has been said that each Being comes into creation to learn truths about Itself - which are really in turn cosmic truths. The Absolute, the Great Flame from which all creations stem from, knows Itself through Its creation. Furthermore It knows Itself an atom more when one of It's virginal sparks knows Itself. To know and to learn imply the unknown and the undeveloped. That is unrealized. To realize is to know, become aware of, learn, develop and complete that development. So when a Being enters into creation there are lackings and unknowns within It. Even though it is pristine and free of conditioning.  Owing to the duality of creation, what happens is that these lessons or cosmic truths to be learned become the Being's greatest conditionings. The way these lessons are learnt is by undoing these conditionings. Therefore each ego that we have contains lessons about cosmic truths hiding within it. The way it is hidden is via the lesson o...

Anti-Dote to Anger is Definitely Force - (5687)

The anti-dote to anger is certainly force. Conscious force used correctly and internally. Bring conscious force when we are about to get angry and apply it correctly within us, we will avoid getting angry. In the difficult situations of life that call for force, our essence will send force. It will do this automatically and naturally. If our force is trapped in our perceptions of being harmed, it will express as anger. Even if our force is trapped not all of our force is trapped. We always have some force free. Therefore we can all remedy anger. Real and free force can be used to make us enduring, strong, calm and capable of doing the right thing within us and outside of us in the difficult moment. The force that we have must be used that way to remedy anger. To displace anger and make it an obvious wrong answer. Because we are weak inside of ourselves, we become angry.  We get angry to push away pain, becasue we can not deal with it. Whether it be psychological, spiritual,  e...

Types of Conflicts Notes - (5685)

Literature is an expression of human nature. Really good literature is about unfolding the truths inside one human being, to invite others see the truths lying within them. If literature then expresses what we have inside then the below are the types of conflicts we all face and have to work through at one point. Every conflict that we have outside of us we have already existing within us.  We can work to resolve conflicts by precisely locating what in us gets triggered that we have a conflict with. A person may trigger a feeling within us and then it is not the person we really have a conflict with it is that feeling. The keys are to dissolve that feeling that is produced by ourselves (by working with comprehension and the Divine Mother) and or work to relate better to that feeling. A way to relate better starts with acceptance and stop disliking and projecting negatively when we feel that feeling.  End (5685).

Remedy for Greed is Unity and Connectedness - (5684)

A central theme of greed is taking all for me and leaving none or little for you. A sense of unity, a perception that we are all the same and giving to you is the same as giving to me, helps a lot to diminish the feelings of greed. The perception that we are all connected and that "no man is an island" helps to remedy greed. Your joy of having received my gift is also my joy. Greed is a lot about pleasure - the pleasure of having. Whether that pleasure be physical objects or semi-physical objects or sensations. That pleasure mentioned directly above which is an inferior scale, can be transmuted to a superior kind of pleasure that becomes joy. End (5684).
