Transmutation and the Dissolution of Lust

Our Mind and Sexual Energy are Linked Just in case you do not know or are not fully aware of it, there is a very strong link between our mind and our sexual centre. We know that our thoughts, especially our imagination affects our sexual centre, I’m sure everyone knows about this. Mind Affects Sex So it is quite easy to accept then that the thoughts we think can stir up, pacify or direct our sexual energy. That is well known, but it is not so well know that our sexual energy can affect our mind. Sex Affects Mind This has to be so, that the state of the sexual energy affects our mind. This is so because any type of relation goes two ways. In fact we often in relationships only see one side and we make the mistake here of only really seeing one side too, the side that the thoughts affect the sexual energy. Both are linked and they share a similar nature, just as in the theory of yoga that if one controls the breath, one controls the mind and the sexual energy. ...

Prana and Us

In the Individual Prana is in the individual, for example a person. Everyone comes to life with a certain amount of prana and we can maintain it, increase it or decrease it according to the food we eat, the air we breathe, the thoughts we think and the life we lead. When we die the prana that has been accumulated in the body leaves, if it were to stay perhaps the body would not decompose, or at least decompose at a slower than normal rate. We die because essentially prana, leaves the body, so in the end prana is that which gives us life and sustains our life. A Prani An individual is called a prani because he or she has prana and consciousness. Prana is the greatest friend an individual has. It comes as an aid, because it is the cosmic Christ it comes to everyone as an aid to help everyone and as the Cosmic Christ always does it comes to us so to save us. In particular prana allows the energy we need to fabricate soul and with soul we may free ourselves from Samsara and reach ...

More about Prana

Prana is Very Elevated Prana is something very elevated and we can’t readily perceive it as it is, that is how it is within itself with our five senses. Though what we can perceive with our five senses is the prana that things have or radiate. For example, in the case of a rose, the smell of the rose and its beauty and the life that radiates from it are an expression of the prana contained in the rose. In short what we really perceive with our five senses is the prana that things have, so when it comes to perceiving prana with our five senses we can only perceive prana as it is in things that have or had life, that is in other human beings, plants, animals, rocks, food etc. Prana can not be Perceived As we have mentioned earlier, prana by itself can not be perceived as a solid physical substance, i.e. something that can be can be weighed, photographed or measured. All that we can do is to perceive prana when it undergoes certain modifications and subdivides itself. For example, ...

Prana as the Cause of Motion

Vibration Prana is also vibration, as mentioned in the section on the definition of Prana, Prana has the quality of never being still, it is that which is in constant motion. Prana is in constant motion because it has within it both poles, the positive and the negative that is electricity and magnetism, and by the very nature of electricity, the component of electricity in prana makes it look for the other pole to travel to, so to fecundate it. It is the nature of electricity that produces the restlessness of prana, and it is worth noting here that when electricity finds its other pole, magnetism is created. Just as when a couple, man and woman sexually unite (union of the two opposite poles) magnetism between them is created. The sexual force that brings them together is their sexual electricity, a force that comes to them from their interior divinity. So, prana is sexual in nature because it has the two poles within it, which as we have mentioned are electricity and magnet...

Prana as the Cause of Electricity and Magnetism

Introduction It is said that prana contains both electricity and magnetism, and that prana is actually the cause of electricity and magnetism. Master Samael also described prana as being Universal Magnetism. Magnetism Magnetism is considered to be the negative pole of prana and electricity is considered to be the positive pole. The positive pole of prana being electricity has the property of always looking for its opposite negative pole. We can say that the positive pole is magnetically attracted to the negative pole and as electricity being the positive pole searches for magnetism the negative pole a magnetic force or attraction between the both poles is set up, creating within prana that pervading universal magnetic force. Electricity The role of the electricity the positive pole in prana is to fecundate, and it when the positive pole finds the negative that is electricity finds magnetism, the result of the coming together of these two opposite poles is electromagnetis...

Prana –In Science and Myth

Scientific Perspective From a modern scientific perspective, conventional scientific research today describes prana as a complex amalgamation of several forces or energies, such as the magnetic, electrical, electromagnetic, photonic, thermal and mental forces or energies. In Myth There is a story from the Upanishads that goes: “Once all the deities that reside in the body - air, fire, water, earth, ether, speech and mind - had an argument. Each claimed that it was superior to all others, declaring, "I sustain this perishable body." Prana was listening to this debate, and ultimately said to them, "Do not delude yourself. It is I, having divided myself into five parts, who supports and sustains this body." The deities did not believe him. Indignantly, Prana began to withdraw from the body. Instantly, all the other deities found themselves withdrawing too. When Prana again settled in the body, the deities found that they had assumed their respective places. Co...

Prana – As Energy

As Energy Prana is an energy rather than a substance, just as electricity is associated more with energy than matter. Prana is not matter but an energy, that comes from the Cosmos , from the Universe , from the Cosmic Christ . Note, prana in Gnosis is described as being the Cosmic Christ. Prana is a vital force that sustains creation, it is a primeval force at the base of creation. It is described as being the force that came from the will of the absolute to bring about creation. It is at its very root a cosmic energy, that descends from the very heights of the cosmos so give life and help all living creatures without exception. That is the love of the Cosmic Christ.

Prana - Many Names

Prana is known in many religions and spiritual systems of knowledge. In Hinduism and Ayruveda this cosmic energy is known as prana , in Gnosis it is known as the Cosmic Christ , some oriental traditions call it Chi , while others call it Ki . Other esoteric traditions may refer to it as the Cosmic Mother and they are right as well because we know that what is in the Mother is also in the Father, and what is in the Father is also in the Son the Cosmic Christ.

Prana - Definition

Definition It is a Sanskirt word consisting of two syllables “pra” and “na” that together denote constancy or a force that is in constant motion. Meaning, prana is dynamic, is always moving and is never still. It is the force the yogi’s say, is behind every action and thought, and it is the force or energy that gives life to, and maintains life in each cell of our body. Note: Prana has also according to some sources been translated as Pra (before) and ana (breath), meaning that which is before there is breath. Because prana is not the breath it is something enters and leaves us through the breath. It is the vital energy that rides on the breath. The ancient Indian yogis called the force inherent in all motion, prana. Furthermore prana can be translated as energy or vital force. It is also translated as breath. Prana has the quality of livingness and it can even be called life force. Prana is not something that is only known to the yogis of India, the various world t...

Origin of the Elements

Image
Everything Begins with Prana Gnosis teaches that everything begins with Prana which is that great cosmic energy that is life itself. That Prana is then later transformed into a substance called Akash, which happens to fill all of space, and when the substance Akash is modified it becomes the Ether. When the Ether vibrates, these vibrations become what are called the Tattwas, which are known to be the different vibrations of the Ether. When the Tattwas condense or crystallize the four physical elements of air, fire, water and earth are born. Tattwas The different Tattwas which are really the closest origin of the four physical elements are the various states of the Ether. It seems that the Ether can be in several states, though what is of interest to us here are the states of the Ether that produce the physical elements. Master Samael answers this question quite concisely saying: “The Ether exists in an igneous state, (Tejas). The Ether exists in a gaseous fluidic s...

The Being is Natural in Us

Introduction This statement “the Being is natural in us” is something very useful for us to know and to comprehend. This short article will reveal to why. Experience The Being in us is something that is entirely natural, the Being is something that is neither sensational nor spectacular nor amazingly spiritual. The Being is something spiritual yes, most definitely, but yet it is something that is very comfortable and natural at the same time. Concepts We often can develop concepts or ideas of what it is like to have the Being inside of us, and they can often either scare us, produce repulsion inside of ourselves or on the other side of things, make us to fantasize, thinking that with the Being we will be ultra-powerful, all-knowing etc. etc. Anyway, all of these concepts are false. When one makes the Being inside of oneself a reality, these concepts can be directly contrasted with the reality, and the person can then know how true these concepts are. Truth More lik...

The Key of Changing Centres

Introduction There is a very simple key in Gnosis called ‘changing centres’. It is very natural, so natural in fact that we may even stumbled across it by ourselves at some point. It is even so simple and common sense that we often make the mistake of overlooking or dismissing it. So, if we find ourselves in a negative sate which could include feeling worried, anxious, sad, angry, upset, hurt, low, apathetic etc. the key of changing centres is a simple and excellent way of transforming that negative state into a positive one. This key is especially helpful when trying to displace negative mental and emotional states. Applying the Key In order to apply this technique effectively we first have to determine the predominant centre in us that is working negatively. In the case of being very worried or anxious it is the mind or intellectual centre, that is functioning predominantly more negative than any of the other centres (emotion, motor, instinct and sex). The mind or intell...

What is a Master and What is Self-Realisation

Master In Gnosis what we refer to as master is a human being who has worked on him or herself enough to have prepared him or herself so to be obedient to the Being and be able to incarnate the Being and accommodate the Being within their constitution. A master is also It is also the angel or the adept, it is essentially the human being with the human soul, the situation where the Being is in control and the divine Being has won the battle to control matter, which is the body and its five elements. It is the logical and correct order, where the divine, the noble spirit of creation rules over matter. Symbol of a Master The master is symbolised by the flaming star or the five pointed star or pentagram with the single point pointing upwards. The five pointed star master Samael says, is the position that Masters use to meditate in. To adopt this position one should lie down on the floor with his or her head facing east. The Real Master The real master is the divine Bei...

Emptying/Cleaning Yourself

A Need Sometimes we feel the need to empty ourselves of all that we have swirling, orbiting, popping up and lurking inside of us. We can accumulate so many impressions inside us that we feel full of impressions and so the need to empty ourselves of these impressions arises. We can be also at times, so full of the mental activities related to buying things, organizing finances, organizing people, organizing events, worrying about people and their problems and so many more trivial life related matters, that we are dragged away from our inner core and stuck instead in a mind whirling with images, ideas, problems trying to organize and solve all these issues. And this can be very tiring. After experiencing these things we come to the conclusion that we need to empty ourselves and clean our mind out. The way to do this is to peel away or shed all these layers and reach the inner most essential part of ourselves. Shedding Everything As we mentioned above the way to empty ourselves a...

Everything Boils Down to a State of Consciousness

Everything We Do in Gnosis Everything that we do in Gnosis is really to increase and maintain higher states of consciousness. The practices of mystical death, alchemy or transmutation, astral unfolding, mystical practices, jinas science, and meditation etc. all in the end or in final synthesis just produce in us and maintain in us a superior state of consciousness. Each of these practices should leave us with a new, different state of consciousness. The fact that we feel very different after each of these practices is the proof that we have elevated ourselves to a new, superior state of consciousness. All that Counts All that counts is our state of consciousness. All that we are left with at night when we sleep and when we die is our state of consciousness. So really we should make efforts in our life to increase our state of consciousness and maintain what we have gained. Our Treasure We can have a warehouse full of gold and precious jewels and we can have 50 millio...

Working with Self-Realised Beings

Introduction – We Need Help We as essences need a lot of help. It is very true to say that we can not awaken and eliminate the ego all by ourselves. We need the help of our interior Divinity and the help of the Gods or in other words, those divinities that have awakened their consciousness and have eliminated the ego. It is very important to recognise this fact, that is, the fact that we need help. This is the fundamental reason why we invoke the masters of the white lodge, because we need their help and we can not progress without their help. To recognise this is humility and because of a lack of humility we go far from the masters and alienate ourselves from their help and guidance and the danger is, that without their help we can easily fall into error. True Humility True humility is based upon true recognition, not assumptions nor self-defeating attitudes or ways of thinking. For example thinking, I am a poor person, a silly person, I always get it wrong, I can’t do it...
