Gnostic Esoteric Study & Work Aids

Our body has intelligence and consciousness. Our organs have intelligence and consciousness. It has to be that way becasue they are alive and they contain atoms and every atom is a triad of matter, energy and consciousness. Conventional science does not recognise the consciousness in each organ as yet.  The atomic consciousness of our immune system has a really positive attitude, one of "let's go and face this invading force and we will restore harmony". There’s no negativity like: “not a again, fed up of that, tired of that etc. etc.”. It’s all positive confidence. The consciousness of a virus has the attitude to create a disturbance.  End (5728).

When we lack something we compensate for it in our personality. For example, if we are poor we try to show outwardly that we are not poor.  We make it important (a value) to present well, with expensive clothing and accessories, even with an expensive car, that one would have others think we are not lacking, which in turn makes us to feel that we don't lack. In general, the many values that we have in our personality are there because of compensating for lacking something.  The other thing is that we work like crazy, and sacrifice like crazy for those values (ways of compensating), which at the end of the day boil down to be 'a feeling about oursleves'. A remedy to all of this is to feel as our essence. Be our essence. End (5727).

This is a really powerful key that when we work with it, helps us change. Applying this key, we start to understand that the 'strange' reactions of others, whether it be their annoyances, impatience, fears or habits, all have a reason, and are not so strange and bothersome afterall. It seems, that us not understanding the reactions and behaviours of others, is really the problem or issue that bothers us so much. However, we think it is the other person that bothers us. Working with it, we start to feel that we don't need so many explanations from others. We also begin to stop finding them 'silly' or 'wrong'. Another thing that happens when we work with this key is that we shake our head in disbelief so much less when we see the reactions of others. We develop psychological maturity. One essence sincerely yearning for light has tremendous power. This power can move people and circumstances to it, to receive the light it yearns for. We never know how one essence sincerely yearning can bring people to it from very far away. One essence sincerely working on him or herself has the tremendous power to affect others near and far away from him or her. This power at first is invisble to human eyes, yet it works through space and time modifying and creating casues, which then cascades into human events, which is what we see. This power reveals itself to us through many small and large synchronicities. The result of all of this is that the sincere yearning of the essence is really something that taps into the power to create circumstances.  End (5725).

A Way Through Life If we were to take any human profession or occupation, and we are to look into the mastery and perfection of it, we would see that psychology plays a very important part. If we were to look into mastering and perfecting psycholgy we would see that the esoteric or spiritual plays a very important part. It is like the Absolute gives us a chance at inner discovery and the work of inner realisation through the occupation of our human life. We all just need to receive the knowledge that there exists a path of development leading towards the deep realisation of our Inner Being/self.   In other words, a path can be paved through our human life, working to make it a perfect work of art for the purposes of furthering a transcendental aim of self-realisation. When we have forgotten our esoteric work and we remember it.  The moment we remember, is the best and only time to work, if we want to retain the continuity of our work. End (5724).

In practice, in the begining, it is more important to focus on changing than being perfect.  Perfection is a later stage after we have changed. So often, when we are trying to be perfect we are not dying or changing in ourselves. We are imitating or pushing ourselves towards an appearance of perfect. To change is much more important. To be perfect is very difficult and attemtping to be perfect is very stressful. We none the less, carry the compulsion to be perfect in our minds and emotions all the time. This causes us much stress and frustration. This mental compulsion of being perfect is often the cause of anger and hurt self-love. It is very relieving to understand we are not perfect and there is much to correct, and much of what needs correction will be pointed out to us by others. It is also very stress relieving to understand that we can’t always get something to be perfect. It seems like, from so long ago, people have known about their guardian angel. Master Samael confirmed that we all have one as a part of our Being. Like all the parts of our Being, the guardian angel has a function. The function is to keep us safe and far away from danger. If we are ever in a dangerous situation, or worried for our safety, we shouldn't forget our Guardian angel. The trust we have in our Being we can extend to our Guardian Angel to feel more relaxed and secure. There is a story, where a person asked Master Samael, what would happen if he were to be attacked. His reply was that his guardian angel would disintegrate the attacker at once.  Wow! How powerful is the guardian angel! End (5720).

Personality is created by imitation.  What is original and authentic does not come from imitation, but from deeper within. Mostly from the essence, but sometimes from an ego that can tap into our creative energies. Anyhow when we say to ourselves I need to be more like this or that person, or more like a certain quality, we are going to end up creating a new layer of personality. We can study another person who has this or that good quality, and extract the wisdom, method and truth of their ways. Then blend that wisdom and method into our own way of things. That way we won't create new layers or aspects of personality. Imitation is often not a conscious process.  What we add to personality we have to later dissolve. As circumstances change...
