Crying and the Work and Crying in the Work – (508)

First of All

First of all I can’t judge and say that people should not cry, or that what they are crying about is nonsense or silly or fake. I say this because after all when a person does sincerely cry, it is because the issue is very important to them and only the person can know really truly if they are really crying or just feigning.

My Intention

My intention with this post is to present some occasions where in the work on ourselves we may cry and of which a good result may come about, of course if it was sincere.

Edge of the Abyss

When we have the ego so strong and we are really having difficulty in dealing with it and we are losing control and we see that it is taking us to a very dangerous place perhaps physically, psychologically and spiritually and we are just teetering on the edge of the abyss and we know we can not do much about it, we may seeing all of this, pray so intensely that we cry.

Gratitude

Sometimes when we receive such a marvellous gift or help from somebody or someone, whether it be the Masters or our interior Divinity or friends or family and we feel that we may not deserve it, we may cry out of the conscious feeling of gratitude. Or perhaps when we have struggled and fought for so long for something and then we get it or we suddenly verify something that Master Samael teaches we may cry out of gratitude that it is true and that our efforts really came through with a result.

Contrast, Pain and Yearning

Sometimes when we via contrast see how bad, how asleep, how big our ego is and how far we are away from the Being and the Masters that contrast may produce a lot of pain and also a tremendous yearning and out of that yearning comes a sincere prayer to be better and often tears flow because it is from the heart and there is remorse there for our errors that have taken us to be what we are etc. so far from the Being and the Light.

Conclusion

So here above are some occasions where we may cry, not every day of course that would be really difficult, we end up with a very sore and troubled heart. I like what the quote from Psalm 56:8 “Tears are prayers too. They travel to God when we can’t speak.”.

The key is just make it sincere.

Internet as a Substitute for Reality – (507)

Our Problem - Seems Real

Our problem these days is whenever things are not going well in any aspect of our life we turn as a crutch to the internet for a substitute.

We are doing this more and more these days at an alarming rate in fact.

Our problem with the internet is not that we use it, as if we would use a tool but rather that we rely on it as a substitute for our reality or a means to compensate for a real area of our life that is not going well.

For example, if our relationship side of our life is not going well we turn to the internet to provide or supply or fulfil the relationship aspect. We talk to people online, we send messages, we sign up to this or that forum etc. In general whatever desire that we can not fulfil in real life we turn to the internet to try and fulfil. The only thing though, is that the things we get from the internet are mostly an illusion, except for the shopping items that we buy.

Whatever we can’t get here physically we seek out on the internet. We can’t buy a certain car, so we go onto the internet and read all about that car and watch reviews about that car. So we use it to fill our desires when we can’t fulfil them in reality. So it a lot like the mechanism of fantasy which is essentially an escape mechanism where through fantasy we seek what we couldn’t have.

What is Real Hits You in the Face Over and Over Again

A property of reality is that its messages constantly hit one in the face time and time again. This is to help break the illusions that we have. Reality always shows itself as it is, and it is up to us to see it. The problem is that we don’t want to see it and so we persist in the illusion and the more we persist the more we get hit and the more and more disappointment and deceived we feel.

Reality teaches us, if we are open to learn, whereas illusion doesn’t teach but draws us in and takes our energy. Reality frees us while illusion enslaves us.

What is Unreal Makes You Hope

A key characteristic of our psyche when we are under an illusion, is that we are full of hope, and of course that hope can not be realised by things that are unreal, so these kinds of hope will not be realised, all that awaits that hope is for it to fall be broken.

What is Unreal Crashes

Always what is unreal crashes, so much of the things that we seek on the internet crash. This is the way to tell if something was real or not.

Some smart people know that people in general turn to internet to fulfil their unfulfillable desires and because of that they can easily catch people who are under the illusion that they will get through the internet what they really desire.

What is Real is Always There

Another property of things that are real is that they do not change and they stand the test of time. They remain steadfast and reliable as always. Some of things on the internet are not real.

Conclusion – Internet is Only a Tool

Really we should see the internet as a toll for communication, information sourcing and perhaps buying the things that we need when it is more convenient to buy it online than in a our physical store. To depend on it and to see it as a life saver, is not so good. It could mean that we are using the internet as a crutch and or are under some type of illusion.

Regent of our Psychological Moon - (506)

Introduction – Psychological Moon

We all know from our study of Gnosis that we can create a psychological Moon. The creation of the psychological Moon is really the first creation of our interior universe or interior Genesis. The psychological Moon is in other words the first work we perform in our self-realization, and our self-realization is the work of the creation of our interior universe. The psychological Moon is the permanent centre of gravity, where we have within us, the tendency to work on ourselves and to see life through the work on ourselves as the dominant tendency. That is within us we are more interested in the work than anything else. All other things come second inside of ourselves in a balanced way.

Gabriel Regent of the Moon

We also know that Gabriel is the regent of the Moon, our Earth’s satellite, and following the Hermetic axiom “as above so below” we must also have within us a regent of our psychological Moon when we create it.

So our interior Gabriel, a part of our Being is the regent of our psychological Moon. See this excerpt from the Pistis Sophia Unveiled where Master Samael talks about the inner Gabriel.

“GABRIEL, as a Regent of the Moon, is one of the Planetary Genii.

The Intimate GABRIEL is something distinct, is one of the autonomous and conscious parts of our own Being.

The Intimate GABRIEL governs our own psychological Moon.

The psychological Moon also has two faces, the visible and the hidden.

All of our psychological defects, visible to the simple sight, are in the visible part of the psychological Moon.

The secret defects are found in the hidden part of our own psychological Moon.

It is obvious that defects, psychic aggregates and perversities that we do not even remotely suspect exist in the hidden part of our own psychological Moon.

MICHAEL in the Sun is an ineffable Archangel, but the MICHAEL within ourselves is different. Michael is an independent and conscious part of our own Being.

Our readers must not forget the forty-nine fires.

The forty-nine fires are, obviously, the forty-nine independent and conscious parts of our own Being.
MICHAEL and GABRIEL, which means, the SUN and the MOON, the SULPHUR and the MERCURY, serve the Alchemist in order to perform the Great Work.”

Conclusion

In conclusion this post was just to make us aware that we have a Moon within us and there is a part of our Being, our inner Gabriel that comes to take up his function of regent of the psychological Moon within one we create it for Him.

Imperium Neptuni Regis - (505)

Introduction

“Imperium Neptuni Regis” translates as “The Empire of King Neptune” or in some cases “The Domain of Lord Neptune”. As above so below, we have within us our seas or spermatic waters which must come under the domain of some power within us. The principle of "as above so below" once again would have us think that as Neptune rules the seas of the Earth we must have an interior Neptune that rules our own waters.

Neptune we must Become

So like Neptune we must become. We must come to rule over or command our interior waters, that is our spermatic waters which is our sexual energy. Neptune is also the Mercury and the agent within us that can instruct us about wisely working with the Mercury.

Conclusion – Hidden Lesson

Our interior Neptune rules over our Mercury and we must come into favour with Him by working wisely with the Mercury and by creating Mercury through the transmutation.

Sometimes we can become fascinated by a particular aspect of the work, even intrigued about it. When we feel this there is a lesson there waiting for us to learn. Basically the lesson is to find what we are intrigued about within us and then become aware to the maximum of our capacity about that aspect.

Desire, Will, Mind, Simplify and Frazzle Free - (504)

Desire is Will

Basically desire comes from the causal world and filters through the mind and into our emotions and then into our actions. Desires are felt as more emotion than anything else, however before they were in the emotion they were in the mind.

Mind and Desire

Desires are trapped will, and what does the trapping is the mind. The mind also receives the desires or the will and either directs it into the mind’s own conditionings and patterns or diverts it or weakens it. The mind can accelerate the fulfilment of a desire or delay it. Usually what the mind does when there is a will to work on our self or to do something that the body or the senses don’t like, is to delay the idea.

Too Many Desires Frazzles

When we have many initiatives or desires they all collect in our mind and our mind as the organiser of desire becomes very frazzled on how to fulfil all of them. We can easily fall into a state of hesitation, excessive planning and overall frazzling, where we just get overwhelmed and end looking blank out the window for hours or just going around and around achieving nothing.

Simplify by Eliminating or Amalgamating

The best two ways to deal with frazzling due to having too many desires is to write down all of our desires and then really consult very honestly with ourselves if fulfilling this or that desire is convenient, useful and necessary for us. Most of the desires are not, so then and there we can just eliminate them or cross them off the list. Then we must go with conscious investigation into what is behind this desire and then with understanding and prayer to our Divine Mother come to dissolve this desire.

There is another way which is to amalgamate all these desires into one common desire, and the best desire is the desire for freedom, freedom from the mind and the ego. This desire can burn or consume all the other ones.

Conclusion

When we reduce the number of desires our mind will remain quiet or quieter than before. Also then when there is a will to work on our self or there is a desire to practice astral unfolding or something esoteric the mind will not be able to weaken it as much as before, and it won't delay this will or desire by putting it into a list of other desires to be fulfilled etc. etc. that we never get around to fulfilling.

Focus Brings Creativity- (503)

Why Concentration is Difficult

The Theosophists say that the substance of eh mental body by its very nature always seeks variety and so our mind being made of the same substance always by its nature seeks variety making it difficult for us to keep the mind on one thing.

This search for variety is actually a good thing, only if we use it in a way that works for us. Just like a knife, it can be very dangerous but used in the kitchen it is very useful. So it depends on how we make this search for variety to work for us. Read on to find out how.

Variety in Focus

Basically the way to do it is to learn to focus or concentrate and then the mind within that focus or concentration will discover new things. That is within focus the mind or the essence will produce creativity as the focus deepens or penetrates and integrates with the object of concentration.

Conclusion

By focussing we enter deeper into what we are focussing on and we then discover the new, because we are coming to see more about what we are concentrating on. What we see is what we didn’t know and can only come to us when we focus and delve with the aid of concentration deeper into the object of concentration.

For Smooth Human Interactions Appeal to the Divine Mother and the Third Logos - (502)

Difficult Situations

When it gets difficult between ourselves and others and things are rough, you know the situations, those that are very awkward, ill-will in the air, friction, tension, potential for arguments and offence etc. etc. To make such situations go smoothly and amicably we really need a higher power.

Higher Power

To make a situation go smoothly we really need a higher power, something higher than our good egos, holding our tongue, being alert and our self-control. While we may be able to hold back our own egos we can not hold back the egos of others. So to really appease the whole situation, that is to placate the egos in all those present so to make the event or activity or meeting go smoothly we really need a the help of a higher power. For this the best higher power to appeal to is specifically the Divine Mother and the Third Logos.

Why the Best?

I am not sure why, these two parts of our Being are better than the Father or the intimate Christ but they really work. In many occasions I have asked for their help specifically for such situations and the result has been really amazing. It was like a force descended over everyone and placated the egos of everyone, bringing a kind of harmony, a tolerance and good will. And the event went off very smoothly and amicably – really was amazing given the history.

There are some teachings to the effect that we can ask the Divine Mother and the Third Logos to help us to relate correctly with the environment. So it seems that these two parts of the Being are related to human interactions and our environment. They are also intermediaries between us and the Father. So perhaps it is that these parts of the Being can bring the Divine Forces down to us here in the physical world.

Conclusion

Give it a try! I give you my experience that the Divine Mother and the Third Logos really help immensely in this type of situation.

After Failing One Must Wait - (501)

Introduction

When we fail at something, for example the situation when the ego starts in its manifestation and the temptation for it to manifest builds and builds and then we succumb, not doing what the ego wanted the next day after we fail is good but does not have as much value as when it first built up.

We Need to Wait

We need to wait basically for our system to be reset so to speak, that is we need to forget all about the ego and its desires and get to the same state as when we failed the previous time. Then not succumbing to the ego after our physical and psychological system has been reset has the same value as what we could have earnt previously. This is all because the same external and internal circumstances and energies have recurred.

Not succumbing the next is necessary but it is very much easier because we have the pain of eh ego in us in a very intense way that helps us, because we don’t want to feel more pain so it is easy to not succumb.

Conclusion

When we fail we must wait, failing basically takes us backward in time. When we understand this we can have an extra weapon up our sleeve to help us next time. Those who fail and fail regress backward and backwards in time. The greatest failure of all is falling into the abyss where we fail more and more and end involving which is the regress or fall back further in time losing our Human state, then losing the animal state, then losing the plant state then losing this state to become a mineral then losing this state. Really awful hey, we must triumph!

Metals in Alchemy – (500)

Introduction

Alchemy as presented by the medieval Alchemists is something really very peculiar and interesting. Many of the terms are so peculiar and way out of line with what we commonly understand that we can so easily become confused and lost. On the other hand the Alchemy of Master Samael is very simple and clear, maybe even too simple we may think.

What is useful at times, is to understand what the Alchemists were actually referring to with their symbols and peculiar terminology. This verification gives light, understanding and more confidence or faith. This post is a little about that, looking at term of metals, which for me anyway was so very interesting, maybe because I am very stuck in my concept of a metal being the result of man taking ore from the Earth then moving that ore through a refining process to produce a very solid, hard and shiny bar or beam that if used wrongly can really hurt another person. Anyhow forgetting that let’s look at how the Alchemists saw metals.

Metals to the Alchemists

To the Alchemists the metals are values which can be either polarised to be egos or “I’s” or values, qualities or functions of the Being. Metals were or are also the colours of the Great Work. That is each metal symbolises a stage of the Great Work.

For example, if we take the metal iron, it is as a perfect metal the value of force and as an imperfect metal it is anger or the ego or “I’s” of anger. Roger Bacon said that “According to the purity or impurity of the Sulphur and Mercury, we shall obtain the perfect or imperfect metals.”

Therefore the more psychological death we have the more we create or produce in us the perfect metals, that is the free functions and values of the Being.

Oscar Uzcategui says in his book “The Mutus Liber Speaks”:

“Also a symbol of the colours of the Great Work. Alchemy says that in the Work, we should first see the silvery colour which represents the Mercury. Next we should see the black colour, Saturn. Later we will see the grey, related with Jupiter. Then we will have the white colour of the Moon and in progression there will appear the green colour of Venus; then the orange yellow colour of Mars. Finally the golden yellow colour of the Sun will appear.”

Conclusion

So then in conclusion the metals are really values, that can be trapped or free. As trapped values they are the egos that we know and when free they are the functions, qualities and virtues of the Being. Even as the colours of the Great Work they are still representing certain values or qualities. Gold is always in Alchemy the pinnacle or the perfect or the most refined.

Work In Series or Work in Parallel – (499)

Always Wondered which is Best

I have always wondered which is the best way to do things in life and in the esoteric and psychological work. Here is what I have found so far.

Many of the Same

From working at factory packing boxes with a variety of different items, I found by trial and error that the best way for me and also the guy who taught me was to not to complete one box and then the next and then the next but to lay out all the boxes and then put 2 brackets for example in each box then four screws in each box, then four nuts in box, then one console in each box, then one user manual in each box and so on, until each box was complete then close each box and tape them all up one at a time. This way worked out to be the quickest and the most enjoyable and less tiring actually.

We can work the ego this way too, it is crazy to just work on one ego until it is dead and forget the others, because the others can get very active, distract us and even cause us to make some big mistakes. So we can work on one ego decently then do the same practice on another ego and so on. There are times though that we just have to use will power to control the other egos and work very hard on one because it is making our life a living hell and also putting our path in danger.

Many Different

When at work we may have many different tasks to do. I have found the best way to go about that is to work in series, that is work one at a time. The trick though is to write a list of priorities. I often do the small and easy ones first then tackle the harder and longer tasks next.

Concentrating and focussing on one task at a time is very good, it gives us continuity, keeps one thing in our centres and makes life simpler. When we work on many things at once, that is work on something then switch, then switch back, you soon get the lost feeling or the tired and dispersed feeling. This is because our attention and energies are being dispersed among too many different tasks. We often at the end of the day we can’t remember what we have really done.

We can work on the ego this way as well.

Conclusion

Perhaps if you are wondering also which the best way to work at things, then maybe try these suggestions out and see how you go. I think it is really worth while finding out which way to do things is best for us, because it will help us to make progress and save us a lot of time.

End (499).

Why Alchemy is the Work in the 9th Sphere – (498)

Always Wondered Why and Never Understood

I think I still don’t fully understand but maybe I am a little closer to understanding why. Here anyway is what I have come to understand so far.

Within Sex

Within sex are the very primordial powers of creation. Very primordial, ancient and powerful forces move and come into action when there is sexual arousal, contact and connection.

The real creative properties of the sexual and instinctive centre begin to work in these moments and it is then that the person working in the Alchemy must channel and drive these forces of energy and creation towards an inner creation (transmutation, sublimation, Kundalini, solar bodies etc.)

Sex is Chaos

Because the chaos or the abyss or inferno is the birthplace of men, beasts and Gods and sex is really the birthplace of everything, sex is also the chaos and also the abyss. When I say abyss, I mean it in the sense that the abyss is where the light is taken from and where men and the Gods emerge from. Men and Gods are created by working consciously in the abyss or in the place where the primal and primordial forces are in operation. They become men and then Gods by having tamed, controlled and creatively used these primal and primordial forces for their inner realisation or inner creation.

The seminal entity is our particular chaos and the work with sex is really also the work with the seminal entity, that is the activation, movement and inner channelling of it. Also the number nine is very sexual, it is someway controls creation. Observe that a child gestates for nine months in its mother’s womb and there are nine heavens and nine circles of the abyss. Nine above us here in Malkuth, and nine below us. Malkuth is the middle ground.

Conclusion

So sex is chaos and chaos is the matrix or womb of any creation and the abyss is a womb and so when a couple connect sexually they descend into the ninth sphere. Most just descend and then fail or stay there, those that work in the Alchemy descend, work and then re-emerge transformed.

How Can People Do Such Evil Things? – (497)

Certainly Evil Actions have been Carried Out

Certainly there are people who have done some terrible things in the past. We may call those people evil and they may be partly or totally evil. There are those who have repented and felt great remorse for what they have done and so they are the ones who as a whole are not evil but have a part in them that is evil and they unfortunately failed to control it.

There are those on the other hand that are fully evil. Those are the ones that we can not understand because they continue to do evil things and they show no remorse at all.

Instruments of Karma

Gnosis says or teaches that there are cases where human beings have done something really terrible, such as for example, kidnapping and charging a ransom, that the essence or soul in the body of the person that does such a thing is sent immediately into involution, and what is left on the surface of the Earth is just a shell, the body. That later, the Divine Law puts a demon into, so to act as an instrument of karma. Then such a person is soulless and can keep on committing evil actions and never show any remorse for it.

Conclusion

This is the esoteric explanation as to why there are people who continually repeat offend in a very terrible way and show no remorse at all. Such people may even be able to live for a long time and avoid the authorities for years. This is because the Divine Law protects them until they are no longer needed, then they die or the police apprehend them.

The Interpretation of Relativity is More Important than the Perception of it – (496)

Relativity the Cause of the Ego

Basically the ego enters into quick manifestation as soon as there is relativity or in other more practical words – differences. As soon as there is that more or less in relation to one or the other, that is as soon as one receives more than another in comparison or in relativity the ego enters into action!

So, if we could eliminate relativity the ego would not manifest. However that in this world is impossible, we can not remove relativity and duality, it is part of creation. All that we can do is to modify our interpretation of it, we can’t modify our perception of it, but our interpretation of it.

Interpretation Causes the Problem

So it is not relativity that causes the problem nor is it the perception of it but what or how we interpret it. We always interpret relativity when we receive the less as something against us or negative for us and so we have to then feel negative emotions and then of course end up acting or speaking negatively.

We can not help seeing relativity, it is there in front of us that we receive 2 and the other receives 4, if we didn’t think i.e. no thoughts when seeing this difference, then that would not be a problem. If we understand the relativity in a way that is neutral or positive towards us hen that is ok too, but we usually interpret relativity as negative or against us.

For example when we received 2 and the other 4, we could say to ourselves, well that is fair he has worked twice as much as me this week and so no problem, or we can say to ourselves, that is not fair I worked just as much as me, the boss as something against me, he does not like me anymore and I don’t know why, I haven’t done anything wrong etc. etc. Obviously this interpretation causes anyone a lot of pain. And of course an interpretation that causes us pain is not fully true always. So the problem arises in our interpretation of relativity.

Conclusion

We basically have to work very hard our own sometimes strange and half true interpretations of relativity. That is the point or place to work.

End (496).

Why the Teachings about Creation are Useful – (495)

Knowledge of Creation

What I think is important for any human being is some knowledge of creation, especially the points of how creation began, how creation unfolds and how creation ends. Knowing where we are in the process of the expansion of creation is also so very useful. Thankfully, Gnosis is able to provide an answer to these four points. With this knowledge one is able to locate him or herself in the process of the expansion of creation and therefore be in a much better condition to understand the time in which we are living.

The knowledge in Gnosis about creation I believe has been given to us so that we can acquire an understanding of where we are as a humanity in creation, that is, from where we have come and where we are going.

End (495).

About Awakening – (494)

Awakening - the Heart of Any Spiritual Doctrine

Awakening - this is one of the hearts of the Gnostic doctrine and for that matter, any spiritual or esoteric doctrine or endeavour that wishes to transform he human being. Any attempt towards a change for the better will fail if there is no new awakening produced.

Awakening to See Reality

Awakening is to see reality in its various levels and depths and furthermore it is to see what is commonly not seen.

Awakening allows one to understand the things that previously were not understood and allows one to see the deeper causes of the present, and the future that the present actions will unfold.

Several Awakenings

There are several types of awakenings which we must gradually arrive at. There are the physical, psychological and esoteric awakenings. We can start working in the psychological awakening and later progress to the esoteric or spiritual awakening. The psychological awakening is to see our full inner reality and with that capacity come to always be aware and in control of our psychological (intellectual and emotional) processes.

Awakening Brings

Awakening brings new knowledge and experience which is extraordinarily powerful, as it removes suffering, produces changes and allows one full control over oneself.

Awakening Critical

Awakening is so critical for us, because we are dormant to so many things, the more awakened a human being is the more control one has over his or her life and future. Things that are not commonly accessible to a human being are accessible to the awakened one and this brings much happiness and understanding in one’s life.

Is Using the Mind for the Work Bad? – (493)

Mind is Useful Only in its Orbit

The mind can be very useful and helpful in the work, though as soon as it goes out of its orbit it becomes counterproductive.

The thing to watch with the mind is that we don't get trapped or stuck in it. If we use it as an instrument and get good at using this instrument that is fine, as long as we are free from it, that is we know that we are the essence and the Being behind the essence, and the mind is not us it is just an instrument, i.e. something that the essence and the Being can use.

With the mind as long as you live from the essence and the Being and think by virtue of the work, essence, path and the Being and use the mind as an instrument to help you in these endeavours and in life that is ok.

Conclusion

The problem arises when we live from our mind, if we can only do things that our mind plans and programs and we can't surpass the concepts in our mind and we can only move in our thinking and in our feeling and actions according to the concepts, judgements, prejudices, beliefs etc. of our own mind then we are in trouble, our mind then really becomes a jail, just as Master Samael said that it is. So using the mind this way would be very counterproductive. We have to use it to set ourselves free, if we use it to do this we are going ok.

End (493).

Ego of Video Games – (492)

Introduction – Video Games as an Escape from Troubles

Playing video games can be used as a way to take the focus off the hurtful feelings and thoughts that swirl around inside of us when there are troubles in our lives. Many people have this sort of thing, it could be drugs, alcohol, gambling, sex, smoking, driving fast, walking, holidaying etc. etc. though what they all have in common is that they are used by us or our psychology as a way to escape or a way to bring happiness, or a way to bring pleasant feelings and thoughts or even a way to regain control (because we can't control the hurt inside etc. so we look to a place that we can control). Because we know while we are doing those things we are far away from the troubles and we feel fine.

A Solution

Anyway the way to deal with these things is to solve the problem or the issue. Many times we can't solve the issue, just like that so then we have to provide a balm to the pain in us that our thoughts and feelings are producing. This is the best solution. Doing this we won't need to self-medicate with those things. Anyhow playing video games doesn't harm anyone, drugs and alcohol are much more destructive, though video games can drain a lot of intellectual energy and make the consciousness very much more asleep and slowly introduce us to living in the fantasy world of video games. See below.

A Key – Focus on your Consciousness

The key is to put the focus on our consciousness because it is like the video game, when we are focussed on the video game we forget, so when we are focussed on our consciousness we forget the as well and with the consciousness the thoughts and feelings can be understood and a solution can be got at. Doing it is hard at first and is for sure more painful than walking or video games, but very much more worth it. Because we develop consciousness that we can use in any area to solve problems and we gain more dominion over our mind.

Question the Painful Thoughts

The thing to do is, using our consciousness or common sense or objective as we can make it - reason, is to question our thoughts. To question what we are believing about the thoughts. When we fight with a reality we hurt. The thoughts may not be about accepting a certain reality and the thoughts could be untrue and when we question them to see if they are true and we discover with our common sense and consciousness that they are not true, then things in us change. We have to question ourselves on many different and deeper levels. The thoughts make the emotions, so the best place to start is with the thoughts. Even write your thoughts down to help you question them.

Conclusion and a Mantra to Help

For a mantra though, the thoughts that hurt us a lot are about there not being love or kindness for us, so the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is wonderful because that sends the love of our Being to us and at the same time we send it to Him which is really ourselves. So we give ourselves what we are wanting to get from others, which by the way is too hard to always get. We can only really solve those things of a lack of love or ill-will towards us but giving what we want to ourselves.

When is it the Right Moment? – (491)

Introduction

So many times in life when it comes to decisions, we would like to know when the right moment is to make and act upon those decisions.

The aim of this post is to give some pointers that may be true or helpful for you.

The Right Moment

The right moment may never come, or then again, it may. When the right moment does come, the trick is, that we will know that it is the right moment and we will feel that we are living that moment. Basically you will feel it. If you don’t feel it, then it is not the right moment.

Basically when the moment is right, the obstacles that stopped you before are now either physically not there or either in you a solution has appeared and you now see a way around it or them. Inside of you is the key. You feel the way clear and it is now all very possible. You may feel that you can no longer delay, you may feel that a new road is opening before you, the fear that you felt before is much less and the people that you thought you would hurt or affect, seem to be alright or you feel that they will be alright.

Conclusion

The key is that it is all inside of you. You will know and you will be able to do, when before you couldn’t see or do. You will also feel that it is now time.

All the Warriors had a Petty Tyrant – (490)

Introduction

I first heard this idea of a petty tyrant from an author Victor Sanchez, a disciple of Carlos Castaneda. He said that the warrior has a or many petty tyrants that help me or her to work on themselves. This petty tyrant provokes in a major way the warriors egos. The objective of having a petty tyrant is to get free of the effects that our own egos provoke in us because of the petty tyrant’s impressions.

A petty tyrant can make us angry, sad, depressed or very upset.

All the Warriors had One

All the warriors used someone to work on themselves. It was said that Master Samael would often visit a certain man in order to work on himself. It was said that that man would criticises and insult Master Samael and Gnosis. When Master Samael dissolved the egos that would often get affected he stopped visiting that man.

It has also been written that Carlos Castaneda’s teacher Don Juan would visit a certain man quite often because this man would always make him feel very sad.

Conclusion - Your Petty Tyrant

So do you have a petty tyrant. We may have one, but not realise it. If there is a person that always insults you, makes you sad, depressed or irate then as soon as you decided to triumph over the effects that your egos produce in you because of the impressions (words, gestures, actions) from that person you have a petty tyrant that you can use to get a step or more steps towards your personal inner freedom.

About Pleasure – (489)

With Pleasure Comes Fear

With pleasure comes fear, the fear that the pleasure will come to an end. When there is pleasure there is always that particular fear. Pleasure by its nature must have an end. Pleasure can not continue forever without an end. It is certainly subject to a start and a beginning.

While Experiencing Pleasure

While experiencing pleasure there is that feeling of anxiety that comes from our attachment to the pleasure when we know that it is going to end.

What is much better is joy! Joy comes from the consciousness and fear and anxiety is not inherent in joy.

Best Way to Approach Pleasure is with Detachment

The best way to approach pleasure is with detachment. We are even when pleasure arrives and we are even when pleasure stops. There is no great expectation and over exaggeration nor is there any sadness or anxiety when the pleasure is about to end.

Detachment produces moderation and that is something that is very good, because after pleasure comes usually pain.

Pleasure is of the Mind and Senses

Pleasure is of the senses and of the mind and emotions. We experience pleasure more with the emotions, and of course there has to be pleasant sensations involved. Sometimes the sensations evoke the emotions and sometimes the pleasure is more emotional than anything else. For there to be pleasure in the emotional centre there must be a positive perception or outlook in the mind first.

Philosopher’s Stone – (488)

Introduction

So much has been written about the philosopher’s stone, it is understood as being the pinnacle or goal of Alchemy. The following excerpts by Master Samael Aun Weor clearly reveal what the philosopher’s stone in very clear and easily understandable language.

Excerpt 1 – Philosopher’s Stone

“What is the Philosophical Stone? The Philosophical Stone is the Intimate Christ dressed with his bodies of Gold.

This Gold covering, formed by the bodies, is ‘To Soma Heliakon’, the body of Gold of the Solar Man. Whosoever possesses the Philosophical Stone has complete power over all of Nature. Nature knows how to obey such a being. This person possesses the Elixir of Long Life and can keep the physical body for millions of years.

Lo and Behold the path. The path is in the (sexual) seed. There is no other way.

Interesting things take place within the human organism. The existential superior bodies of the Being are nothing more than Mercury fertilized by Sulphur. Gold must then appear in these bodies of Mercury.

But who can settle the atoms of Gold in the Mercury? They can be settled with only one artifice. This artifice is none other than the famous Antimony, the Antimony of Alchemy. In reality, Antimony is a metal which is well known in Chemistry. However, in Alchemy, Antimony is one of the parts of our Being. This part of our Being knows how to settle the Gold in our bodies of Mercury. This is how these bodies of Mercury can be converted into the finest quality bodies of pure Gold.

Whosoever possesses bodies of pure Gold receives the sword of Gold. He or she becomes an Archangel with the finest quality sword of pure Gold, which threateningly turns in every way, throwing strong flames.  Such is the sword of the Archangels (Arche-Angels).

It is then worthwhile to settle the atoms of Gold in the Mercury. The whole of this can be achieved with the condition of eliminating the Dry Mercury (ego) and the Arsenic Sulphur (passional fire). If one does not eliminate the Dry Mercury and the Arsenic Sulphur, one simply does not achieve the perfection of the bodies, nor does one make them of the finest quality Gold.

The entire secret of the Great Work then consists of knowing how to make Mercury, how to create the Arche, which is the intimate and particular nebula from where our distinct bodies must emerge.”

Excerpt from the lecture: “The Arche”, by V.M Samael Aun Weor.

Excerpt 2 – Philosopher’s Stone

“However, the metallic Spirit of the Stone, which is the Intimate Christ, can be lost. The metallic Spirit can evaporate. When can this occur? When a metal is melted.

When is it melted? When the Hermes Glass is spilled, then the metallic Spirit is melted. It is the metallic reaction of the Gold. Thus, it is indubitable that the interior Magnesium escapes.

When this occurs, alchemically it is known that the Philosophical Stone is lost, that it has dissolved in the water. Speaking in other words, out of the terms of the Great Work, I will say that this is when the Boddhisattwa falls (fornicates).

In Alchemy, it is said clearly that the Stone is thrown into the water, that it dissolves in the water on Saturday. We must understand that Saturday is Saturn, in other words, the kingdom of death.

Whosoever dissolves his Stone in water loses his Stone.”

Excerpt 3 – Philosopher’s Stone

“Then, in the central plateau of Asia, I committed the error, as did the Count Zanoni. It was the error of taking a wife when it was forbidden for me. I once again threw the Philosophical Stone into the water. Now in this new existence, I performed the Great Work. The resurrection of the Lord will culminate for the third time...for the third time. Thus, I have now performed the work three times. So, this is why I have experience, I know the way...I know the way.

What I wish to say is a great truth. When I elaborated the Philosophical Stone for the first time, on the Moon, the Stone was powerful.

When I elaborated it the second time, it was much stronger. Now that I am elaborating it for the third time, it will be even stronger. This is due to acquired experience.

Within this experience there is an intelligent principle that we must understand. A human can fight a great deal for his transformation in order to reach the union with God. This human progresses until there. However, after a human being reaches the union with God, when God manifests himself in this human, we can say that from here on there is no progress.

If this human being wishes to progress, he must then retrograde, which means to throw the Stone into the water.

What happens to the Stone?

When the Stone re-emerges into life, it emerges much more powerful, more penetrative. It is something extraordinary.

There are Initiates who perform the work seven times. Beyond seven times it is very dangerous because one can fall into damnation.

I have performed it three times, but frankly, I will not make it a fourth. I do not want to expose myself to losing a great amount. However, the three times that I have performed it, the situation has come to me as it must be, extremely painful.

For example, in the central plateau of Asia, when I threw the Stone into the water for the third time, I said to myself, “How I have fought over the centuries in order to raise myself again. What frightful weights, such terrible bitterness!” And only now, after having suffered terribly, tremendously, this Philosophical Stone is again being reborn. In 1978 it will be reborn.

I carried all the history of the Aryan Race in order to raise it again. Therefore, it is extremely painful; it is a very painful process.

There are Adepts who, wanting to make the Stone more penetrative and powerful, intentionally descend. They do not fall, they descend.

How do they descend?

They take a spouse when it is not permitted to them.  But they do not ejaculate the seminal liquor (they do not reach the orgasm) and under the direction of a Guru, they work with all the rules of the Arcanum A. Z. F. They then lose the Stone.

After a certain period of time, they give life to the Stone. They perform the great Work so that the Stone will remain much stronger.

It is necessary to establish the difference that exists between falling and descending.

I did not descend. I intentionally fell. My three cases were falls, not descends.

In the central plateau of Asia, I committed the same error as the Count Zanoni. I took a wife. This is the forbidden act which I did. I tell you that after the experience of the centuries, I know that this is how the Great Work is performed.

Let us remember the Phoenix Bird. It is marvellous with its crown of Gold and with its feet and legs of a beautiful pure Gold. Nature surrounded and worshiped it. Tired of living for millions of years, it decided to make a nest with the branches of incense, myrrh, spikenard and other beautiful branches, and the truth is that she burned herself there.

Nature is always like that. But then the Phoenix Bird was reborn from her own ashes, much more powerful.

Likewise, it is necessary to perform the Great Work because when the Stone is thrown into the water, it remains drowned.”

Excerpt from the lecture: “The Arche”, by V.M Samael Aun Weor.

Summary

So in summary, the philosopher’s stone is the universal Christic or life giving principle individualised in us covered with the superior bodies of gold. So it is the result of incarnating the universal life giving Christic principle first, then purifying all of our bodies from their impurities or egos (psychological “I’s”).

Furthermore the philosopher’s stone undergoes much transformation and can be renewed by being dissolved and then built once again, and when reformed or recreated it emerges stronger than before. Esotericism tells us that this can be done only seven times, because if one does this more than seven times one falls under a curse. The philosopher’s stone is also the Phoenix bird.
