The Inner Divinity (The Being) Must Express Himself

He Must Express

Besides some other very powerful reasons the Divinity of each one of us comes to creation to express His wisdom, light and love for the benefit of the other Monads residing in the physical realm of this creation of the Absolute, and He does this through His physical vehicle.

Physical Vehicle

We are nothing more than the physical vehicle of a Divinity, that is the physical vehicle of a drop of the Great Universal Ocean of Life, or a spark of the Great universal Fire, which is also known as the Absolute.

We are nothing more than the physical vehicle, that is the physical manifestation of a Divinity. We are the combination of body (with its five psycho-physiological centres) and the essence (unfortunately there is also conditioned or bottled essence – “I’s”). The essence in the physical body is a part of this divinity, it is a detachment of this divinity, it is a part of Him that is sent into physical world, and that is what we really are. At our roots we are the Being (don’t forget we have to eliminate the pluralised ’I’).

The Being and the Physical Vehicle

The divinity who decides to realise Himself must use his physical vehicle to do so. The Being as we have learnt in Gnosis classically has two uses for his physical vehicle. Which are: one; to work through his physical vehicle for His realisation and two; fulfil a certain mission as a sacrifice, service and honour to the Great Common Cosmic Father, the Absolute. For the love of the Absolute the Divinity sacrifices himself and carries out a mission to enhance the splendour of the Absolute.

In the end the work of the Divinity is to enhance the light, experience, knowledge love and splendour of the Absolute, He does this through his realisation and through his mission, which is always to help other Monads to realise themselves.

Expression of the Being

In order for the Being to fulfil these two missions the Being must express Himself. The point here is, what is the Being going to do with his physical vehicle? The answer is that the Being is going to use his physical vehicle to raise Himself and to fulfil a mission here in creation, specifically here, in this time frame, on the planet Earth.

For the Being to do this He has to come to control his physical vehicle so that He can act and work to fulfil his realisation and mission. The Being can not allow that the ego be in control, that is a ridiculous situation, because the majority of the egos have no interest whatsoever in obeying the Being, let alone fulfil his mission and the undertaking of His realisation.

The Being Must Take Control

The Being takes control of his physical vehicle from the causal world, because that is the world of will and it is from here where, mind, emotion and action descend. As soon as the human soul is incarnated the Being can take control and begin really to take control of his realisation and fulfil his mission.

When the Being is in control, and even very rarely though, when the Being is not yet in control of his physical vehicle, He can express Himself. He expresses Himself through His physical vehicle and no doubt the physical vehicle perceives and knows it, others though may not know it. The main avenue in which the Being may express Himself is when teaching, when practicing the Alchemy when practicing the mystical death or when in some difficult situation.

Ascend and Descend

As the person or physical vehicle ascends toward the Being, the Being descends toward us. He comes so that He may express Himself and help the physical vehicle in the work of the three factors especially in the third factor.

Ray of the Being

As you may know the Divinity of each one of us has or belongs to a particular ray in creation. This is a very marked characteristic of the Being. The ray of the Being pertains to His function in creation. The number of rays are so numerous, they are, just to name a few: law, love, wisdom, science, life, death, medicine, force, politics etc.

Whenever He manifests, His manifestation or expression is marked in some way by His ray. As He descends further and further into the physical vehicle and as the physical vehicle purifies him or herself more and more the Being makes the person a more and more clear expression of his ray.

Getting it Wrong

Sometimes we can get it very wrong expressing our Being. We basically get it wrong when we decide to assume His expression and then with a sort of pride thinking that is very important that we express Him we exclude others, impose ourselves, control situations, putting others down, taking students from other groups etc. This is us acting, not the Being acting and it is us getting it wrong. In a very short time this will create problems amongst those around us and will lead to our isolation.

This all stems from the mistake that we assume the Being and decide to act for Him, instead of letting Him create the circumstances and for Him to come to express by himself, though of course through us. Put these things in his hands. If we do this we will not get it wrong.

Getting it Right

The way to know that we are getting it right when expressing our Being is when his expression does not go against anybody else. Because the Being, always acts outside of relativity and duality. We, when we act with the ego we are inside relativity and duality and we go against something or somebody where the result is one side being favoured more than the other.

Station X of the Cross – Jesus is Stripped of His Garments

Introduction

This, the tenth station where Jesus is stripped of his garments is a rather significant station. It is one that contains in it a deep meaning and it is one that conveys an important message to us.

Here is the text from the bible relating to the tenth station of the cross.

"19:23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.

19:24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did."

From a personal point of view, this is not easy to write about because we are writing about what a man lived and went through and it seems that by writing about it with the intellect we are disrespecting it slightly.

Legend

There is a legend that says Jesus had three possessions. One was a bowl, the other a comb and the last one was his tunic. The legend continues to say that while travelling he came across somebody who he did not know and was drinking water using his hands, and so Jesus gave him his bowl. Then one day Jesus came across somebody who combed his hair with his hands, and so Jesus gave him his comb. In the tenth station of the cross before being crucified Jesus gave up his only remaining possession which was his tunic.

I also came across some documents from the apocryphal where they state Jesus had the power to become invisible and change his appearance at will. There were many documented accounts of this, one that especially stands out is when Jesus was to be arrested by Pontius Pilate. The guards protested explaining that they could not arrest Jesus because at times he was invisible, then he took the shape of a red ball of light, then the shape of a yellow ball of light, then he assumed the appearance of an old man then the appearance of a young man etc. They did not know who to arrest, the old man or the young man.

Here, from these legends we can draw the conclusion that this station is about the renunciation on two levels, the material and the spiritual.

Elements of the Station

There we see Jesus being spat on, mocked and ridiculed, his garments stripped from him, Jesus becoming naked and Jesus being given to wear the crown of thorns.

Jesus or the Christ, considering that what Jesus showed to us physically is really the Christic drama that is followed by any master who wishes to Christify himself and incarnate the Second Logos, appears to be supremely humiliated in this station. It seems that he has surrendered and that he can’t be the Messiah, as he appears not to be even able to save himself.

However from the esoteric, Gnostic point of view he is renouncing to all worldly things and he is recovering from his previous three falls by producing a new octave in the process by means of sacrifice and renunciation.

Hi is being humiliated so to fulfil the law of the path that every exaltation is preceded by a humiliation. It appears that he is not in control but really from the esoteric point of view he is in complete control he is securing and guaranteeing the success or triumph of the process.

The message that we get from this station, which I will elaborate on later is that renunciation is a guarantee of success.

The Stations Before

The ninth station before this one – the tenth is Jesus fall for the third time. Here Jesus fall for the third and last time on his path to the crucifixion and later resurrection. There is an important message here, that is really worth learning and remembering. It is that even the Christ falls and or those who are to incarnate and become Christs, fall on the path. But as Master Samael says it is not important that you fall but what matters more is that you get up. So don’t crush yourself if you fall, work hard so as to get up again.

Jesus recovers from this third fall in the tenth or next station by his act of supreme renunciation. The tenth station is like a bridge and important milestone or a link that links the stages of the process together, the march to Golgotha and the actual crucifixion on Golgotha. Without the tenth station the crucifixion could not occur.

The Stations After

The eleventh station is where Jesus goes to be crucified. Here the work he or the action he has completed in the tenth station sets him up to be crucified on the cross. With that supreme renunciation of all material things and also the use of all spiritual powers, he recovers from the three previous falls and is now decided to make that supreme sacrifice on the cross.

The humiliation of the tenth station is the decision to be crucified; this is the last chance that Jesus had to free himself from the fate of the cross. In this tenth station he consolidates his resolution, his will and obedience to the Father. This is because in the eleventh station he is nailed to the cross.

Message

One strong point here is that Jesus or the Christ goes through this station consciously and voluntarily. That is the key word voluntarily. He could have at any moment stopped the process. He being the Christ could have invoked a choir of angels to save him, because such treatment if against the will of the Christ is unjust and surely a choir of angels would have come to free the Christ Jesus from such treatment. Even himself he had the power to free himself from that treatment. As we mentioned in an earlier sub-section it was said that Jesus had the power to become invisible at will and so he could have done that.

Renunciation is Something Voluntary

So Jesus doing this voluntarily and he did this for a reason or few several reasons. One reason could be obedience to the Father and the other could be to fulfil the laws of the path, that every exaltation is preceded by a humiliation. However, this shows us very clearly that renunciation is something voluntary and it is something that we have to do, or at least start whereby we will then get help to carry it out to completion. We have to at least show that from our will or union of our will with the will of the Father that we want it.

Christ Will – Higher Design

Anyhow the Christ will is in full action here. This tenth station allows us to see or to better understand what the Christ will is. We can see that it is based upon sacrifice and it operates according to a higher design, and it is precisely this that makes the Christ will misunderstood and ridiculed. That is why the Roman soldiers ridiculed him because they did not understand why he is doing this or being subjected to this when he is the son of God. It seems crazy and ridiculous to the common person but to the esotericist it makes sense.

Any sacrifice is Master Samael says is the conscious choice of one good superior to another. So this sacrifice that Jesus carried out was conscious it was done to achieve a superior good. So Jesus was acting consciously and voluntarily, this is very evident here in the tenth station.

Summary of Lesson Learnt

So in conclusion, we learn from this station about the Christ Will, in that it is voluntary, it is based on sacrifice to achieve a higher good and the Christ Will is not usually understood and is often ridiculed.

We also learn that sacrifice and renunciation are the same and that they are needed to recover form falls, to comply with the law of the path and to produce an superior octave in our work we need renunciation and when we honestly and consciously based upon conscious understanding renounce, we guarantee our future success.

Poverty

The issue of poverty pops up in this station quite significantly, and I think that it is worth digressing a little to expand this point.

There are really only three types of poverty at question here. One is physical poverty, another is inner poverty and the last one is spiritual poverty. However, it is really the latter that is the dominant in this tenth station.

Physical Poverty

This is simple, everybody knows deep within themselves this type of poverty. We have all at some point or another passed through this. We know it instinctively and deep down we fear it. It is to not have money or any possessions of worth that can be used to buy sufficient food, clothing and shelter.

Inner Poverty

This is the case of so many of us, this type of poverty is due to not having the Being within and furthermore not knowing that we have a Being.

We become internally poor when we put all of our attention on the external world, that is on what is external to us and we forget completely about what we have inside. Therefore we don’t cultivate the inner virtues and values, instead we only cultivate the aspects or things of our personality. We accumulate possessions, money, titles and anything that enhances our external image (the way we think others see ourselves). In that way we can become rich externally, i.e. a large bank balance but we remain on the inside, uncultivated, undeveloped and when we look into our interior we see only something black and empty. This is what is called internal poverty. This is so common today. This is what is also called “poor in spirit” or “poor of spirit”.

Spiritual Poverty

This is something a little different and the name is actually quite confusing, well for me anyway. It refers to that action of renunciation and it symbolised by the Jesus the Christ being stripped of his clothing. When one renounces one in effect strips themselves of all that they have of the external world. Even one may divest him or herself of one’s spiritual powers, skills and abilities which is what Jesus did in this station, because he could have quite easily used his powers to free himself, but he didn’t.

One does this renunciation for the benefit of the spiritual work, to come closer to the Father, to surrender to the Father and trust more completely in the Father. So in conclusion it is poverty done for the benefit of the spirit or for the spirit (the Being).

Renunciation

A guarantee of success, is the reason why we renounce.

This is something important in the understanding of renunciation, because the ego who is programmed to live does not understand why it has to renounce its desires, its apparent needs etc.

If we just think about it for a short while we will see that whenever we truly renounce we are safe. We will not lose internally speaking or in our work. So many times when we renounce to something, it later comes to us. To renounce is many things, but it simply could be that we just give up wanting, desiring, hoping for etc.

Renounce Consciously

We have to renounce consciously otherwise it will rebound on us. This is something that we all have learnt from our very own experience. We have all witnessed ourselves with great fervour stopping or renouncing a certain habit, only later on to dive back into it and what’s more even justify why.

Consciously renouncing consists of understanding really that we don’t need that thing that we are getting. When we fully understand this our renunciation will be hold true. We can hold renunciation true using our will until the moment of comprehension comes as well. But the bigger the thing we are renouncing to, the more will we really need and the more difficult and painful it will be. If renunciation is done based upon comprehension it is not very painful or difficult at all.

Sex and Imagination

Intimately Linked

Sex and imagination are intimately linked. To a new comer this may seem very strange and even scandalous. However with a closer examination you should see that they are indeed very closely linked.

Trio – Breath, Imagination and Sex

Actually we say in Gnosis that three factors or things are very intimately linked. They are imagination, breath and sex. They form a trio or a trinity or a triad. Looking at all three of them we see that they have life in common. The force of life or vitality links them all together.

Breath

We know that breath is life, without the breath we could have not life. In fact our life begins as soon as we take in our first breath and our life ends at the precise instant of our last exhalation. To die we have to inhale to begin to live we have to inhale.

Imagination and Sex

Life is creation without sex there would be no human life, no animal life, no plant life and in fact no other form of life. And I ask could we have creation without imagination. For there to be creation there had to have been the imagination of the creator at work. Before life burst forth into this creation we say in Gnosis that creation was being gestated to maturity in the imagination of the creator. Creation pre-existed in the imagination of the creator and therefore imagination and creation and therefore sex and therefore breath are all very closely linked.

A Little Abstract Isn’t It?

Of course this seems quite theoretical and abstract and far from our own human reality. But it isn’t really, and we don’t have to look far to verify this.

Whenever we create something or crystallise an idea here in the physical world we used breath and imagination and energy. Ultimately all the energy we have comes from the sexual energy. To fulfil any plan or project we had to have used our imagination and also some creative energy which is none other than the sexual energy.

When we are aroused sexually imagination becomes very active or when the ego of lust is active in us it can not be active without its use of the imagination in the mechanical form known as fantasy.

Conclusion

I would like to conclude this post with the most practical point at play here, which the use of the imagination. The imagination activates the sexual energy and causes it to used to crystallise or create what is being imagined. So the more consciously we use our imagination the better the crystallisations in our life will be.

In fact the sexual energy combined with the imagination can create and strengthen the ego, especially lust of course. But they are a very powerful combination that can move things to occur or to happen here in the physical world.

The Ego as a Thief

From Many Angles

We can see the ego from many angles, and certainly from one angle the ego appears as a thief. From another angle the ego appears as a powerful metaphysical entity that possesses us and only releases us from its grip when it has gotten something that it wants, from another angle the ego appears as a concept and a mental process. Taking the angle of mythology, the ego appears as the red demons of Seth (Egyptian), Medusa and the snakes on her head, the vile metals of the Alchemists and seems to be common to all the mythologies and religions is the ego appears as a beast, a monster or an enemy that the solar hero has to defeat.

Despite the many representations that have been given to the ego over time, we are going to dedicate this post to exploring the representation of the ego as a thief.

A Thief

Why a thief? The ego is one that has a piece of our essence in it. Because of our errors and lack of the transformation of impressions we created an ego. What an ego really is a piece of our free essence that has been conditioned to think, feel and act in a certain way. The nature of its conditioning is basically determined by the nature of the impressions and the events that were used to create it.

So for an ego to be formed a certain piece of free essence has to be stolen away from the body of free essence and put in a certain capsule or bottle. That capsule or bottle is a symbol or an analogy to the conditioning that that piece of essence has undergone.

The only way that ego or ‘I’ can continue to exist is for its conditioning to remain intact or in symbolic terms, that the bottle that holds that piece of essence remains intact and does not get broken.

A Thief that Wants More

For the ego to remain alive or continue to exist it has to maintain itself and it does this by trying to make the bottle stronger and in doing this, it in avertedly steals more essence and the contents the bottle grows and the bottle itself grows too. So the ego’s thievery continues.

If the ego would stop stealing energy from us to fortify itself it would get weaker and weaker and die. The ego needs affirmation otherwise the illusion that is at its core gets weaker and the free essence will come to understand that the ego in question is not really needed and is wrong.

The motto or underlying desire of the ego is ‘the more’. The ego is always about more, and in fact it only operates or exists in relativity. It wants more because it is made of relativity and duality. It makes a reference then compares and wants more.

In general the ego needs more energy and essence, and to get it has to steal it from us and so we can greatly weaken the ego by not identifying with it and not giving it our energy.

The Key to Stop the Thieving of the Ego

The most radical key that we can think of and have applied to stop the repetitive actions of the ego is to find out what the ego steals and why. At the heart of the reason why the ego steals there is the benefit that the ego looks for and gets.

It always looks for and takes some benefit. This benefit maybe something tangible or something psychological. It is very important to the work of the dissolution of the ego that we find this benefit. Because once we have found it we can investigate why the ‘I’ wants that benefit and why it has come to need it.

There may even be cases of “I’s” where we can get the same thing that the ego wants but via a different way, a way that is more respectful, honest and clean or we may get the thing that it wants but in such a way that it integrates with our spiritual work and does not go against it.

Once we no longer need the benefit that the ego always looks for or we break the attachment we have to the benefits of the ego we deliver a mortal blow to the ego. It cracks at its very foundations. The reason and the impetus for the ego to act is gone. There is no reason for the ego to continue and therefore it will be very naturally loose its force and all its stealing activities will disappear.

The Ego Steals Our Life

In a way the ego steals our life away from us. This is very obvious in the case of the big egos. Where, for example one ego can grow to be so big that it controls our life. For example, an addiction to gambling or drinking is a clear example. The person becomes controlled by the ego and all they spend their day doing is drinking or gambling or thinking about it. Then everything that they had in life begins bit by bit to crumble away until they are left with nothing only that ego.

The ego steals our good or decent level of Being and takes us to a much lower one where there is a lot of pain and suffering.

The Ego is ‘Life Greedy’

These egos are very greedy and they like to take more and more of our time and energy, which is equivalent to our life. This is something very serious. As the ego becomes bigger and bigger it takes more and more of firstly our inner life or psychological space and then it later takes more and more of our psychical life. Which includes our time and our physical energy.

The Ego Steals Our Energy

As alluded to earlier the ego steals our energy. This is the main thing that the ego does and this is where the ego takes its victory over us. The psychological and energetic fields within us are really a battle field where we (as the essence) either allow or disallow the ego to take the essence’s psychological space or the body’s and essence’s energy.

Whenever the ego manifests in our human machine, even if it is only in one centre such as the intellectual centre it is using up the energy of our centres. This is because it makes the centre to work or function. For example, the ego of lust makes the intellectual centre to conjure up images and create fantasies. What is terrible in us is that we have some absurd beliefs that we must give our energy to these egos, with the reason behind it being a very deep seated fear or defeatism or even scepticism that believes that these egos can not be defeated because they are so natural and right that we have to give them right of way and that means taking our energy.

The alarming thing about this point is that as the ego takes more of our energy the stronger it grows, in fact actually feeds off of our energy. It becomes stronger and stronger the more of our energy it uses up, until it gets to the point that it becomes a very strong habit and then a way of life and this is where it has stolen our life.

There are egos which we will see later on in this post that specialise in taking our energy, where their main function is to rob of us of energy because without energy we can not any make progress in any field of life, especially in the spiritual field.

The Ego Steals Our Will

As you may well know the ego or any ‘I’ has its own will. That is, it has a fraction of the will of the essence bottled and it is this will, that actually drives this ego to think and get what it must get. By this fact alone, that the many egos or “I’s” have a fraction of our will power inside them, means that there is not very much will power left free for the essence to consciously utilise.

When a new ego or ‘I’ is created it is takes a bit of our will power, and as the ego or ‘I’ gets stronger it increases its will and takes more of our free will. In the end an ‘I’ can get so such will that it can control our life and we (the essence) with an inferior amount of free will remain helpless before it.

This is really how the ego wins its ultimate goal the prize of our life.

The Ego Steals Our Human Machine

This is something that the ego must to do get what it wants physically. Every ego in fact does it momentarily. If an ego were to do it permanently we would definite candidates for a psychiatric ward. Can you for example imagine someone who has anger permanently in his or her human machine. That person would see everything from the point of view of anger and everything would irritate and aggravate him or her, eventually taking the person to violence.

The ego’s theft of the human machine is complete when it takes the motor centre. Without that we can remain in control here in the physical world, but once the ego has the motor centre it is in control.

Stealing our motor centre allows the ego to act, move, gesticulate but more importantly to speak, which really is what causes the most harm to us in life, is what we say.

The Essence Steals

Even the essence steals. It must steal back what has been taken from it. It must steal back through the esoteric and psychological work what is rightfully hers.

The essence has to become very astute to know how to steal the energy that the body has in its centres for the realisation. With the psychological work the essence wins back its psychological space and control of the mind.

Though the transmutation of the sexual energy the essence can take or steal the sexual energy which is an enormous fount of energy for the processes and works of self-realisation. The essence can channel and drive the sexual energy once it has stolen it by transmuting into the many spiritual and esoteric activities which server to enhance the essence.

Stealing the Secrets of the Abyss

The initiate must until a certain point in his or her path, work in the abyss of the nature and within his or her own abyss. The initiate in the abyss is there to learn and to steal the light from those that dwell there and to then use that light to progress in one’s learning and in the dissolution of the ego.

This is a major point in the first Venustic initiation or in the process of the first serpent of light that is gone through after the completion of the five initiations of fire.

The Two Thieves

There are the two thieves that are crucified on either side of Jesus the Christ on the mount of skulls. One is the good thief and the other is the bad thief. The bad thief is the one whom steals the sexual energy only to waste it, through orgasm and the good thief is the one that transmutes the sexual energy and uses it to build the superior existential bodies (solar bodies, astral, mental and causal) of the Being. The transmuted sexual energy can also be used to dissolve the ego and enhance and effectively complete many other magical and esoteric operations.

Fornication as the Thief

The ego that epitomises the ego as a thief the most, is the ego of fornication.

The ego of fornication only really exists to extract the raw sexual energy from the body. That is its main goal and aim. It has many guises which hide this rather brutal, instinctive, abrupt and animal like action.

It covers the animal characteristic of this aim with a beautiful logic that makes one to never see the true absurd and animal nature of this ego. Logic such as: relaxation, sexual bliss, sexual peace, the giver etc. Which, when one knows how to transmute the sexual energy, and actively does so, these excuses are see as 100% false.

In the end though, this ego is a true thief, the worst one because it steals our sexual energy and with it our potential for spiritual development. This ego works against us and works for the black or negatives forces within us and outside of us. This ego is the one that harms our spiritual development the most.

It is therefore the ego that has to be controlled and die the as the first one.

Mechanical and Conscious Hope

Hope Exists

There is hope. It does exist. What is it though? Is it only an emotion or is it only a way of thinking? Does it exist by itself as something independent of anything else? This is a very difficult question to answer. It may just be better to stick with something that we know and that is in hope as it is in human beings.

Hope it seems only exists in human beings or perhaps also in other sentient beings. However, if it exists in sentient beings, it exists, it has therefore some type of existence. Whether it would still exist of we were to take away all the human being in creation is another matter, that isn’t the topic of this post.

Generally, we have hope when we are experiencing some sort of lack, whether that be to do with a lack of having or a lack of being. For example, we are suffering financially and naturally we hope one day to be in a better financial situation.

Mechanical Hope

We have two kinds of hope, one is mechanical hope and the other is the hope of the consciousness or another word for it would be conscious hope. Mechanical hope works by a mechanism of compensation. Fantasy is also a mechanism of compensation, and being of the same quality both of them, fantasy and hope (mechanical) unite and work together as one. Mechanical hope is really the combination a desire and the projected fulfilment of that desire, which is fantasy.

Hope of the “I”

Each ego has its hope. Some egos use hope much more than others. If an ego has a desire the hope that it can be fulfilled will be born. Mechanical hope is also a belief that the ego’s desire can one day be met. With mechanical hope a person may do something for the desire to be met or the person may just do nothing physically but he or she continues hoping and fantasising.

Lust, ambition, greed etc. are examples of “I’s” that frequently uses mechanical hope, mainly because they rely on the future heavily.

Conscious Hope

Conscious hope is based in action or work, plus conscious faith. It knows that the goal is possible and it knows that by working towards the goal, the goal will be achieved. This is very different to thinking “will it happen” or “it can’t possibly happen". It is not based in thinking but in real action and real facts.

Hope and Darkness

In some way hope implies to be in darkness, it is like a gamble. When we put all of our heart into a hope we are investing our heart in that thing, project, person, enterprise, activity etc. Actually, though what we are doing is investing in what that thing could turn out to become or bring to us.

Hope is a Force

Hope is a force like faith it is an investment of our belief and faith in something. Hope is also always related to a brighter future, it is about things or the person getting a lot better. Hope is a combination of wishing and the desire for it to happen. The desire is usually from the ego and the wishing of the ego is usually the fantasy of the ego and this wishing also implies some use of egoical will. In the case of conscious hope, its foundations are yearning, working or acting, imagination and will.

Conclusion

Hope to conclude, is something very powerful. Work and have hope in the success of your path. Then it will surely come to you. What can defeat a clean, honest, sincere heart, working with all its faith and love? Tell me? Karma you may say. But if this heart that works that way persists even karmic obstacles will be surmounted. It is just a matter of time.

Our Future and Our Karma

Right Now!

What we do now in the present is a guarantee for the future. That is because the work that we do now goes or is transferred to the future. This is a secret that few people know. The work that we do now pays or cancels the karmic debts that we are going to receive in the future. So this work that you do now will secure and will guarantee our future karmic circumstances.

Karma – A Blank Cheque

Karma is a blank cheque for the future, so in conclusion, work honestly well (psychologically and esoterically) and consistently now to win the trust of the Lords of the Law for them to secure your future.

Rest Easy – A Secure Future

We can then, knowing that we are working well now, can trust in the future. While others feel uncertain and unsure, we can work hard now and trust that our future will be secure.

Becoming Whole - Illuminating the Dark Corners of Our Life

Dark Corners (Introduction)

There are many dark corners in our life.

What is a Dark Corner?

These dark corners are aspects of our life that only we by ourselves or with a very select few indulge in. These dark corners are physical or psychological activities that are contradictions to the rest of our life. These dark corners are only a small number of activities compared to the number of activities of the rest of our life, however they seem to take up nearly all of our psychological or inner space. We know that they are contradictions because they are against in principle to the rest of our life, and so we keep them secret.

Example

For example imagine a man who is: a husband, a father, a son, a manager at work, a coach, a volunteer community worker, a church goer and is also a heavy drinker. The chances are because this man has a by the far greater part a very decent, honest, responsible life where many people place their trust him he will keep that small area of life the area where he drinks heavily a secret and it will remain as a dark corner in his life and in his psychology.

Dark Corners and the “I”

These dark corners are nothing more than an expression of the fragmented and polyfacetic life that each human being with the ego has. The only difference here is that one of the facets of the person’s life is something that is not acceptable to others and also to him or herself.

A Secret At All Costs

We keep these dark corners secret because the image we give to others is that we don’t have these dark corners and they don’t expect us to have these dark corners and we know that, and so we also know that if we told people they would be greatly disappointed and disillusioned and so we stay quiet virtually at all costs. We may even be capable of enduring great physical pain, financial strain and physical inconvenience just to keep these dark corners a secret. We may even harm others just to keep these dark corners a secret.

We may be a respectable person who has an honest decent job and treats people with good manners and respect, and so we put into practice certain good values in that aspect of our life, and when we are at home we act with consideration, we try to keep the peace where possible, we help out, we offer financial support and we give our attention and care so to help others feel better. However, we could well be in another area of our life very much the opposite, and just be judging the person’s  behaviour at home we would never suspect that the person has that behaviour in that dark corner of his or her life.

You Never Know

So you never know what activities a person gets up to in their life, for the reason being that the life of each person with the “I” alive is polyfaceted. A person could be excellent in one aspect of their life and give us the impression that they are like that in the rest of the areas of their life, but that is not always the case. We actually in better or worse degrees are living examples of that.

The practical lesson here is to see people and keep in mind that they are polyfaceted and that to know them really well you have to know them in all their areas of their life.

Are Dark Corners Crimes?

These dark corners are not necessarily crimes, though they can be in the worst of cases. But one thing for sure is that even though they may be legal, they are not seen by people that matter in the life of the person as acceptable forms of behaviour.

Why Such a Secret?

Why do we guard such a secret, the major reason why is because we ourselves, the ones who possess those dark corners can not come to terms with it. That is, come to terms with the fact that we actually possess such a dark corner. The key in other words is that one can not accept that one has it, nevertheless one happily and so easily indulges in it, as if one were in a semi-conscious or unconscious trance. This is a huge contradiction within us, it is something really strange and it is something that is very hypnotic. It is something that does not make sense. Something that we don’t accept but dive deeply into.

Such a Hypnotic Grip

These dark corners contain a very strong hypnotic grip, and that is precisely what keeps us in the dark corner activities and that is what causes us to indulge in those activities in a trance like state, i.e. a state where our consciousness is not or only very partially present. It has to be this way, because our consciousness has to be put to sleep or put into a very sleepy state for it not too really realise that we are doing this strange and way out of place thing. You not honestly speaking if our consciousness were fully present while we were acting out in one of these dark corner activities we would very naturally say to ourselves “What am I doing, this is not right, I can’t do this, stop, stop, stop!”.

So they key is bring our consciousness fully there when we realise that we are in stuck acting out in a dark corner.

Remedy – Shed Light onto it and Accept

If we were able to shine the light of our consciousness onto the dark corner we would learn to see it and therefore the need to accept it would arise and when we accept it we would find the courage to not allow it to be such a secret, why? Because we want to get out of it and so we ask for help. If we are able to ask for help that is the surest sign that we want to get out of it and that we will.

By telling others, those whom we really trust we also shed light onto it. Because there we are forced to look at it with our consciousness and also the comments of others who are not stuck in that dark corner are comments of the consciousness that help us immensely. Their comments offer us a chance to contrast the dark corner reasoning and logic with the light and that allows us to see that that the dark corner way of thinking is not correct. That it is not really in line with reality.

Surrender these Dark Corners to the Unity

The whole rest of our life is a unity and we need to surrender or sacrifice this dark corner to the unity. To become one with the greater part of our life, which is also the rest of our life, it is also actually more who we are really are. We are not the dark corner identity. It is silly to assume that we are that when the greater more wholesome rest of our life is there waiting for us.

Assume Your Unity and Feel at Peace

Become one, have one face and that will bring enormous peace to you. Relaxation, less guilt, less worries, less stress, less problems, no more being two people a false one outside and different dark person inside. No more deceiving people and no more second secret life.

Dark Corners – A Shadow and a Weight

If you have a dark corner you will know what I mean here when I describe them as a weight and as a shadow. A dark corner is a weight and a shadow that we carry around with us, whenever we go to meet people or enter into any arena or field of life we have that weight and shadow weighing down on our conscious and covering our consciousness (awareness).

Dark corners make us dark and heavy, to not have one will make us lighter, and clearer. Think about this, think how you will be without that dark corner. You will be much better off. The dark corner does not make us a unity, it divides us, it fragments our attention and we become distracted and we lose the capacity to dedicate ourselves to anything. The result is that we become very watered down, we lose We lose drive and energy and in life. Our energy is going into a dark corner that is not benefiting anyone. Think about this and choose your next step carefully.

Conclusion

Accept the dark corner. Many people have them, don’t feel ashamed. Accept it and shed the light of your consciousness onto it. Get to know it well. Study it, analyse it and comprehend why you have it and what you are getting from it. Seek the same thing that it gives you but from a higher octave from within yourself and from within life but in an open and honest way where it is acceptable, correct and beneficial to you and others.

The Kan Dil Ban Dil R (Mantra)

Use

This mantra KAN DIL BAN DIL R, Master Samael says is to be used awaken the kundalini.

Application

This mantra can be vocalised by anyone, whether married or single. It can be vocalised during the practice of the Alchemy or outside of the practice. Obviously the effect is much better during the practice of Alchemy, because that is where the kundalini awakens.

Master Samael says that if he mantra is used outside of the Alchemy it can be vocalised for an hour daily while meditating on the Divine Mother and begging her to awaken from her slumber. Realistically speaking if one is practicing the Alchemy and works with the mantra as just indicated outside of the practice of the Alchemy as a complement that is the maximum ideal.

Pronunciation

Master Samael vocalised the mantra for us on at least one recording that I have heard and the way he vocalised it was to vocalise KAN DIL in one breath just as it sounds. He then vocalised BAN DIL in the second breath and with the R he rolled it and changed his tone to a high pitch. He rolled the R for the whole length of his breath. He also vocalised it quite intensely and loudly.

Angel Aroch

It was the angel Aroch that in the astral plane gave Master Samael this mantra. The angel Aroch Master Samael tells us, is an angel that belongs to the ray of command. This is a ray that unfortunately Master Samael did not write too much about, though it seems that it is a powerful ray that may exist by itself or may belong to one of the seven planetary rays such as Force for Mars, death for Saturn, Science and Medicine for Mercury, love for Venus etc.

Master Samael also narrates how at one time the angel Aroch taught aster Samael how to pray. He said that the angel Aroch was there taking the bread and the wine and praying to his father with his hands together pointing

The title of angel is a little confusing, because we know that the inner Being of the initiate acquires the degree of angle after completing the first labour of Hercules in the second mountain. This is a significant work as the three demons and the father of the demons are eliminated. We can though that most definitely the say that the Angel Aroch was self-realised and had finished that work of the first labour of Hercules. Though I have a feeling though that he may be well much more beyond that labour of the first labour of Hercules.

Angel seems to be a term or name for those who have achieved the self-realisation and have finished at least one or more of the 12 labours of Hercules.

Kundalini

I think it worth explaining here that the kundalini is usually awakened in the Alchemy, however there are some exceptions. One classic example of this is what Master Samael explains about Belzeebub, where he took Belzeebub to a region of the Absolute to have the kundalini of Belzeebub awakened.

Despite this the kundalini we taught in Gnosis is not awakened mechanically and it its awakening depends on the merits of the heart, how much one loves, serves and dies psychologically.

Usually not always the case though that kundalini readily awakens in those who are working in the Alchemy and also in the third factor.

Divine Mother

The Divine Mother has a representation in us as the kundalini. That is the first part of the Being that we incarnate or rather activate. We always have the kundalini in us resting on the second vertebra. When we awaken kundalini we have a greater capacity to dissolve the ego and separate the ego from the essence in us. The hypnotic grip of the “I’s” and the myself are weaker and become weaker as the kundalini develops and it is like a link that is establish between the Being and the essence which is the person.

Sexual Energy and the Poisoninoskirian (Venenoinoskirian) Vibrations

The Term – Poisoninoskirian Vibrations

Origin

This term “Poisoninoskirian vibrations” was originally introduced to the west by Gurdjieff in his book “Beelzebub’s Tales to His Grandson”.

English and Spanish

As far as I know it seemed that this book was translated first into either English or French from its original Armenian, and it was only later translated into Spanish. In Gnosis though, we usually use the term “Venenoinoskirian” instead of “Poisoninoskirian”, and the reason why, is because that is the Spanish term for it and as Gnosis was given by Master Samael Aun Weor in Spanish we have come to use the Spanish term. I think that it is good to know this and to understand that both terms are equivalent, just one is English and the other Spanish.

First Part of the Word

What is interesting about both the English and Spanish words is that they both contain the word poison. This strongly indicates to us that the vibrations being mentioned are pernicious or harmful and are like a poison. Indeed they are, and you will see why this is in this post.

Meaning

This term refers to the condition of the sexual energy (semen or sperm in men and the sexual secretions in women) when the person has neither lost the sexual energy through ejaculation etc. nor have they transmuted the sexual energy. In both cases the sexual energy has remained stagnant that is, it has not moved, it has just been accumulating without movement, and as a result, just as what happens to water that does not flow, it becomes stagnant and begins to change for the worse.

When the sexual energy stagnates or rots or in other words enters into an involutionary process or a degenerative process, the sexual energy begins to give off certain vibrations,  just like when a piece of fruit begins to rot, it begins to look different, its shape and colour changes and it begins to smell. These involutionary vibrations of the sexual energy actually affect the psyche of the person and make the person to therefore act in ways previously unknown to their character.

Attitudes Towards Sex

There are commonly two attitudes towards sex, and the interesting thing is that they are diametrically opposed. That is, they are opposite to one another. One attitude is to desire and the other is to avoid. Well, we can rephrase it as abuse and rejection. These terms may appear a little strong, however it is true to say that when there is a great desire for something it usually leads to abuse and when the desire for avoidance is great there is a strong force of rejection present. They are really the two sides of the same coin.

This post considers what happens to the sexual energy in those individuals that choose to shun sex and even psychologically and physiologically reject sex. The short answer is they develop those Poisoninoskirian vibrations.

Shunning Sex

An Interesting Scene from the Movie “Silent Flute”

There is a very interesting scene in the movie called the “Silent Flute” or also known as the “The Circle of Iron” that starred David Caroldine and was actually written by Bruce Lee. In that very interesting scene, Cord the main character while walking through a desert comes across a man sitting in large vat of oil. He is naked, alone, in the middle of the desert and under a dried up old tree with only a few grains of rice to eat.

The man in the vat of oil explains that he experienced bliss and mystical rapture while on his spiritual path then he says “that thing down there, said hello I’m here”, he then said that he came crashing down and all his mystical aspirations and experiences ended. So he decided to rid himself of it, his first idea was to cut it off but he couldn’t, so he ended up dissolving it by putting himself into a vat oil for years and years.

Reasons Why

There are several reasons why people shun sex. Most of the reasons why, are actually unknown to the person. Why, because they are usually deep seated reasons that have something painful, that happened in the past, as their cause.

This thing in the past could have been some sort of violation of their will in relation to sex or it could have been a spiritual fall. All the spiritual falls occur because of sex or at the very least the sexual fall made the fall complete or consummated. When we fall we fall away from the Being, and its light, love, strength, force, power, knowledge, consciousness, confidence, security, immortality etc.

Being removed from the Being or separated from the Being is the worst thing that can ever happen and for this to happen means to be plunged into deep suffering, pain and the cycle of Samsara. This is something really traumatic and of course this painful trauma becomes directly associated with sex, because without sex there could not have been this separation or fall from the interior divinity.

People instinctively know this and this is why some people faint at weddings (usually men) and why there are people who become monks and nuns in monasteries because they know deep down that by shunning or avoiding the issue of sex they are safe. No harm will come to them. In a way in the normal sphere of life, sex brings children which can be a huge difficulty and source of worry and suffering. Even relationships themselves where sex is involved get complicated and difficult at times and make one to suffer.

Effects of the Two Attitudes

Acting on these two attitudes towards sex previously mentioned actually modifies the way the sexual energy flows within our body and mind. The following sections explain this in a little more detail.

Effects of Abuse

The effects here are simpler than the complex effects that belong to the attitude of rejecting sex. Here the sexual energy is consumed and wasted at a very high rate. Here the sexual energy of the person is totally diverted outside of him or her and as a result the person accumulates the sexual energy and then wastes it. After a while the person begins to lose those energetic values and impotence appears on the horizon. In other words the person loses their sexual potency and becomes weaker and weaker. This weakness affects their overall energy level and the thinking of the person.

Before that though while there is energy available to the person to burn such people suffer from uncontrollable sexual desires, that puts them into a vicious cycle. Every time the desire is satisfied, a stronger desire to receive the same sensations or more intense sensations is created. The more one indulges their desires the more one desires. So, people in this situation actually suffer quite a lot because they are continuously driven here there and everywhere by their desires.

Because of the lack of energy and the immersion in desire people can become very impatient and angry. The lack of energy makes one angry, because it happens that anger is used as a compensation for the force they lack, that has been lost in the abuse of sex.

Effects of Rejection

One of the clear effects of rejection of the sexual force is the Poisoninokirian vibrations. Though there are other consequences, such as when the sexual energy due to the wrong attitude starts to flow in the wrong channels, and this is a disaster. Because that energy should not be circulating in those channels, however it can be made to and this causes the person to be irritable, restless, angry and annoyed.

When the sexual energy circulates in the wrong channels it can create disasters, really adversely affecting the person’s whole system. The sad side about rejection is that, soon the pendulum will swing and people end up going to the other side, which is the side of abuse. This may not happen for a number of years even or it may not even happen in a lifetime. It may be that a monk in one life becomes a terrible womaniser in the next.

Effects of the Poisoninoskirian Vibrations

Gurdjieff mentioned in his book “Beelzebub’s Tales to His Grandson” that the effects of the poisoninoskirian vibrations were two fold. That is on one hand they produced a lot of fat in one class of monks and on the other hand they made the other class of monks very skinny with pimples.

More importantly though was the effect that these vibrations had on their psyche. Gurdjieff said that the monks who became as “thin as a rail” developed a markedly dual characteristic to their psyche. Where they would on one hand be seen from the outside as bigots and on the other hand be very inwardly cynical.

That is they may treat others who were not religious with utmost disdain and parade as perfect but on the other hand inside themselves they would be very disbelieving of their own religion and not sincere practitioners inside themselves, thinking that they can get away with their negativity and selfishness as if it didn’t mean a thing only what matters is the outside impressions given to others.

Remedy – Transmutation – the Middle Way

The way to heal oneself of both attitudes towards sex is to seek the middle. When one seeks the middle one is healed of so many sexual disorders and problems and consequences of being on the side of abuse or on the side of rejection/avoidance.

The middle way is transmutation, which is to still use sex, but use sex wisely. It is to know how to use sex to benefit one’s self psychologically, physically and spiritually. The transmutation is the transformation of the sexual libido and raw sexual energy into energy which is absorbed by our consciousness and physical and vital organs.

This way is not the rejection i.e. the non use of sex nor is it the abuse or over use of sex. It is really the middle way, the balanced way which is always the correct way and the way that is stable and does not bring pain or suffering. It is also the way of intelligence because it is the knowledge of the opposites extracted to produce the synthesis or the wisdom.

Conclusion

We can always potentially develop the poisoninoskirian vibrations, especially if we are single. That danger always exists. If we are transmuting though, our sexual energies, that danger does not exist.

Our advice is to seek the middle way, which is the transmutation. We don’t really know how much of a beneficial key the transmutation really is. It is what saves us on so many levels. It is a real blessing.

Applying the key of transmutation heals all our sexual problems.

The Sexual Force is Blind and is Tamed by Redirection

Two Points About the Sexual Force

There are two (among many) important points regarding the human sexual force. First of all, based on experience I honestly think that many of us would agree that sex in the human being is a very powerful force, that exerts a very intense driving influence on us. There are times of our life where the sexual force really pushes for expression and we may have been driven to take risks and do things that are outside of our normal way of acting. In such times of our lives we really come to understand how powerful the sexual force is and how important it is to learn how to control it or

There are two characteristics of that sexual force, now that we have agreed that it is a force inside the human being. They are one, that the sexual force is blind and two, that the sexual moves or flows and its direction can be modified by us.

The Sexual Force is Blind

This point I honestly think is point that is really worth coming to understand. Why you may ask, because it will first of all bring to you a sigh of relief, and secondly it will open up a door for you to understand how to control and later come to control your own sexual force.

So what we are saying here is that the sexual force is blind, meaning that it is like a wild horse that just gallops in any direction. It does not know if that direction is bad or good or convenient or inconvenient. It is volatile and powerful and just needs to move. So, understanding this as being part of the very nature of the sexual force itself, that is the sexual force or energy in everyone is blind and volatile we should not suppress or blame ourselves and call ourselves evil for feeling that our sexual force is there and is trying to move us. That impulse is natural, but I want to make it very clear here that as soon as that impulse hits the mind then we can have the problem because the human being has what is called the many egos of lust which are really mind created or better self-created patterns of sexual behaviour, which could range from being very perverted, twisted, warped or to things that are not so bad in relativity but are still belong to lust or lustful desire.

In summary, here the sexual force is blind, it sends a blind impulse in us and it is up to our discernment and consciousness to point it in the right direction. What happens usually in human beings is that the sexual force is directed outward by the common modes of thinking (lust) into licentious activities that in the end strengthen the a use of the sexual force that harms us.

Redirection

The key is redirection! Redirection! Redirection! Redirection!

We control the sexual impulse or sexual force by redirecting it. Where you may ask, well if you are married, direct it into your relationship, if you are not married or even if you are, the best place to direct it is inside yourself. Why? Because, that energy, by you consciously and voluntarily redirecting it inside yourself gets transformed into an energy of higher quality, that energises the brain, the heart and many other organs. But more importantly, your consciousness or your awareness or your faculty of lucidity receives that energy and it is a great help to the person.

The most important thing though is that when you redirect that energy or force within you are relieved of that pressure, agitation and desire to do something with the sexual force. Why, because you have already done something with it, you have channeled it inside yourself.

If say you still like agitated and sexually restless then you have to channel it inside yourself again and again until you feel the relief. It maybe that, the mind presses and presses you wanting a certain sexual sensation that you remember from the past etc. That is a different thing, there we have to work psychologically on ourselves, understanding the memory and the sensations etc.

How to Redirect

How do we redirect the sexual force inside of ourselves. We do it by focussing on our sexual energy or sexual force and then making an effort of will and imagination in time with our in-breath to make that energy go inside oneself and be absorbed there by principally our brain and heart.

We may need to this may times to feel a result. Don’t worry just do it and you will feel the effects. Some people say to clench the teeth and fists, push the tongue to one’s pallet, curl the feet like suction caps on the floor and close all the sphincters, with the most important one being the anus. It is called the big draw or for an image it looks a bit like superman when he is about the take-off.

This can be done at anytime and anywhere. The maximum effects are felt when the sexual force is active, this includes during sexual activity.

Conclusion

Feel a relief. There is nothing wrong with your sexual force, it is natural that it should impulses to you, and it is natural that they be powerful. Also feel a relief that there is a solution if you are having lots of trouble with controlling your sexual force. The remedy is to redirect the sexual force, to redirect within. There it is safe and you are much better off for it, physically, psychologically and spiritually.

We still though have to work psychologically to remove all those mental patterns of directing it into fantasies, other people whom we are not in a relationship with, ideas, habits such as masturbation etc. The first step here is to basically stop feeding all those desires by not allowing he sexual energy or force to be driven into them. Don’t let the sexual force get driven into your memories or mental images. Just doing this will help you no end. Try it and see for yourself the effects.

About a Fall and the Factors Behind it

Introduction

Certainly it is worth studying what makes one fall spiritually. We know straight away that sex is one of the avenues, yes that is most certainly true, yet it is not the only avenue by which a human being can fall spiritually. Studying and knowing in depth where, how and why the human being falls is a great help to keep us alert to any dangers in the future that would have us fall.

This post also exposes the psychology involved in a fall. It is my greatest hope, that you, dear reader, may remember this and may it ring the alarm bells of your consciousness warning you that you are in danger of falling! Do all that you can to back out and return to safety. Because to fall only brings pain, no matter what the mind believes. Pain will come no matter what the mind says. PAIN WILL COME!

What Are We Doing Here?

We are all here paying karma because sometime in the past we fell. We fell away from the Being and we lost our paradisiacal state. Before we could fall we left the Absolute, not so much as a fall but because the Monad, or Monad that is had the desire to be someone or something different to the Absolute and so this caused an imbalance in the Absolute where the Absolute had to vomit our Monad.

A Marvellous Teaching

Where or in what avenues do we fall. Well there is a marvellous teaching that says we fall or danger of falling exists in sex, money and power. The conclusion here is that we have to free ourselves from these three things, if we do not want to fall.

May be we can Fall in Other Ways?

Let’s have a look at it, can we fall due to any other avenue of life or esotericism. Let’s be open about it and explore, that way we can really come to an understanding of how we fall.

Of all the things that a human being can do to fall spiritually they all have as their base reason one of these three factors (sex, money and power). For example, an initiate may betray his brethren or his/her order or the white lodge by divulging certain secrets that only pertain to members of that order. Such an action would precipitate a fall yet apparently it did not have anything to do with money, sex or power. But if we were to look to the reasons why he or she betrayed his/her order the reason would coincide with one of these three factors.

We lie, we steal, we kidnap, we murder and all the many other things all because of one of these three factors. Behind money, could be attachment, luxury, ignorance and materialism, behind sex is lust, behind power is pride, control and ambition. The thing that is common to all of them is desire, they all desire something separate to the Being. They are all about pursuing a will separate or distinct from that of the Being. They desire to be more than the Being or to have more than what it seems that the Being can give. Desire is twofold it is always either the desire ‘to be’ or the desire ‘to have’.

Three Primary Forces

There are, as master Samael said three primary forces or principles in the universe that also belong to our very own Being and they are the first, second and third logos. They are commonly known in the West as the Holy Affirming, The Holy Denying and the Holy Conciliating forces or perhaps more commonly known as the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. The point here is that when we go against one of these three principles we certainly distance ourselves from them and therefore our own Being and we either go further away but can come back or we either we rupture and break away. If the latter happens then we definitely fall in a way that can not be easily repaired, and we have to start from zero again.

Those principles are Truth, Love and Chastity. When we lie we go against the Father, when we hate we go against the Son and when we fornicate (loose the sexual energy) we go against the Holy Spirit.

To tie this all up we have the three factors that produce the spiritual demise of the human being, which are sex, power and money. So we can tie sex straight away to the third primary force, power to the first primary force and money to the second primary force. When we are obsessed with money it is for ourselves and it is not to give to others and when we desire power it is to be greater than or as great as the Being, so it is against the principle of truth, where the truth is that the Being is the one who is truly greater.

Sex

A question do we need sex? The answer is yes. But in a certain sense, not in the vulgar common sense that may come to mind. We need it for the work of realisation, that is, to create the superior existential bodies of the Being. Going back to the answer to this question, from the vulgar point of view, there are people on the Earth, such as supposedly all the monks, nuns and priests that have not had sex in their life or renounce to sex for the rest of their lives when they take their vows. So, in the vulgar sense it is not needed and people can live without it. How well do they live without it and does living without it cause some sort of problems in the body and psyche of the person?

How we Fall through Sex

We fail with sex or through sex when we voluntarily ejaculate the sexual energy (semen in men, sexual secretions in women) through orgasm, that is when we have been transmuting and not losing the sexual energy. If we have been transmuting for a long time the fall is greater. If we have been on the other hand transmuting for only a very short time then the fall is not really a fall because we have not climbed very far.

When we have been keeping, cultivating and transmuting the sexual energy for a long time, we stand to lose a lot of what we have gained spiritually. This is what we call a fall. A fall occurs where we have climbed to some height and then do something that belongs to a much inferior level of the Being, such as fornication (loss of the sexual energy).

Energetic, Biological, Psychological and Esoteric Fall

When one does lose the sexual energy there is always technically speaking a fall, because the energy that was being accumulated in the body has been lost. A certain potency of energy and vibration has been lowered in the body after a loss of the sexual energy. One’s energy level always drops after the loss of the sexual energy.

Also, the more voluntary the loss of the sexual energy, is the greater the degree of the fall. If a person loses the sexual energy that may not be considered a fall as such before the Divine Law. Energetically, biologically and psychologically and also esoterically it is, however such a person will not get such a punishment as the one who spills the sexual energy knowingly. Because the person who does it knowingly, knows better, knows the value of the sexual energy and is then voluntarily acting against the Christic force or principle inside him or herself and in the cosmos. It is like a betrayal and we know that betrayal is one of the worst crimes or the one that is punished more severely. You can find this in the laws of the various nations in this world. Betrayal or treason carries the highest punishment especially in wartime. As an aside Dante’s Inferno of the Divine Comedy puts treason right in the ninth circle where the punishment for the deceased souls is the harshest compared to all the other circles.

Deep down in our psychology we know that in losing the sexual energy there is a lack of will and that there is something that is not right. There is a sort of lowering of oneself or submittal of oneself to fleeting pleasure. That is a reason why so many men get angry after a loss of the sexual energy and mistreat women, because they blame their weakness on the women. It is not their fault though it is the weakness of the man, he should have will, respect for his energy, not submit himself and look forward to or cheer on to a depletion of his power. This is what upsets the man either knowingly or unknowingly, though after a while the man forgets this and becomes a slave to that sensation of losing the sexual energy and does great and crazy things just to experience that loss (strange pleasure) again.

A fall through the loss of the sexual energy is terrible when one has the kundalini, because then the kundalini drops a number of vertebra, and as master Samael says it is very costly to recuperate from the fall. The source of eh fire is in the sexual energy and when it is lost the kundalini fire’s source is weakened and so it has to drop, just as when the flame of an oil lamp suffers when some of its oil is spilt.

Money

This is quite a broad category and in it we should include things such as luxuries, security, safety, materialism, gold, precious gems, and in general all that money can buy because without money these things can not be acquired. A synthesis of this category is matter inside of relativity and duality.

Do we need money? The answer to that question is yes we do need money to live in this western and modern society. If we were an Australian indigenous tribe living off the land in the remote outback of Australia we would not need money, however in the cities of the world we need it. The need for money is relative it basically depends where and who you are in the world.

Why Money Leads to a Fall

How can money make us fall spiritually? This the key question here. The answer is that our relationship to it becomes so overly unbalanced that we end up doing wrong things to get it or get more of it. Usually because of some sort of desire whether it be to have something or to be something that we want money.

Why we Fall Due to Money

The first thing that we do wrong is to forget the Being, our interior divinity that is. We forget that he is the one that provides for us, that he is the only real and permanent one, we forget that everything that comes with money will one day perish, we forget to trust in the Being that what he has provided is all that we need.

The actual desire that is making us to go for money is a factor that acts inside of us in the same way that a wedge works. It gets in between us and our Being and as the desire grows the distance between us and the Being grows also. We tend to see more purpose in the efforts to acquire money than in the Being.

Why Do We Suffer?

The desire to or to have through money becomes so strong that it is more important than our spiritual work and so logically what happens one day is that we go and do something physical that makes us to lead a life where we don’t take into account the Being and we feel we don’t need the Being. This life then takes the person down into the normal run of values where the ways of doing things are not acceptable to the ethics and nature of the esoteric path. So the person neglecting the path will be vomited by it, and the result will be a fall.

Once again when we get out of control the Being, the Law and the spiritual path path are the right ingredients in relation to money we will unbalanced ourselves and fall, especially when we seeing money as the very means to maintain our work.in relation to the

Power

When an initiate or a master begins to progress in the path, certain powers and faculties are acquired by him or her. It is important to be able to differentiate between the following four cases:

·         Some powers are granted from the Being to the initiate.
·         Some powers are granted to the Being from the White Lodge or the law.
·         Some powers are granted to the initiate by the White Lodge.
·         Some powers are acquired by the initiate him or herself.

Having Powers is Risky

Having powers with the ego alive is a very risky affair for both the Being and the initiate, because, with the ego alive there is the potential or the risk that the initiate can make a mistake due to the misuse of a power.
However, it can be said that having powers acquired by either of the four means above is not really the concern, but what is the concern is what those powers are used for. If those powers are used for the interests of the ego then a fall will result.

One though can always say that if there are no powers, there is no risk of falling due to the misuse of powers. So no powers, no fall due to the misuse of powers.

The above statement is true and that is may be why so many initiates these days don’t seem to have the powers that Master Samael and the initiates around him had. May be because Master Samael was the avatar and he had a greater degree of consciousness and so he could manage those powers, and also because the Beings of the initiates these days, wants to keep their vehicles safe.

Egos Behind the Abuse of Powers

Mystical pride, vanity, ambition, self-love and self-importance are the egos that wish to acquire powers and use them for their own interests (agenda) and advantage. The fall is produced due to the misuse of powers when either the initiate does something wrong with the power and the karma for that is block the person from their own Being and submerge them in darkness once again or either it the initiate begins to think and believe the powers belong to him or her and so they believe that they do not need the Being and they become more and more disobedient and they begin to separate from the Being, with the result Being that they have to fall away from the Being and a fall is inevitably produced when the Being forces the vehicle to obey but the vehicle does not want to obey.

Attachment to Powers

The attachment to powers is the hidden danger, if powers have been acquired and they are used for good that is fine, however if attachment grows to the powers then a danger exists. A fall can be produced if the initiate or person does not want ot renounce to the powers if and when the Being demands that it be done. In general if there is no attachment to sex, money and powers to the degree that the person can give them up at any moment then the danger of falling due to these things is very slight.

Master Samael and the Sacred Key IT

Master Samael fell due to the misuse of powers where he misused the sacred key IT (not information technology) to make a queen fall in love with a certain gentleman. This act of magic went against the will of the Queen and so he was punished for that. This story is very interesting as it says to us that a bodhisattwa can be made to fall by the law of karma. Actually, it is better to say that the punishment for the grave misuse of a power is a fall.

Psychology of the Fall

The psychology or in simpler terms, thinking and feeling processes involved in a fall are very easy to identify, but hard (depending on the strength of the ego involved) on certain occasions to brush aside.

In fact, you can tell them a mile away, why? Because they are absurd, illogical and don’t make sense. They are sometimes as silly as spending $1000 to buy something that is worth 5 cents and can be bought at any corner store. In other words they are very hypnotic. They make us to see the illogical logical. The logic that the psychology of the fall works with is the logic of either pain or pleasure.

Due to wanting to avoid some intense pain, maybe physical or emotional, we let go of what is priceless and most valuable to us, or due to what is pleasurable we also let go of what is priceless and most uniquely valuable to us.

Balance and the Fall

Intimately Related

Balance and a fall are very much related, simply because we always fall due to a lack of balance. We at some point lose our balance and we have to fall to a place where we can find balance again.

Fall- Lack of the Balance between Forces

If we look at the physical reality for a moment now, we will see that whenever we fall or topple over, it is due to a lack of balance amongst the forces acting on our body. For example, if we are standing and we begin to lean forward the force of gravity will begin to act over the length of our body starting at from our head going down to our waist and maybe even a bit further down. To counteract this increasing force of gravity on our body we have to use our stomach and leg muscles to keep us from falling over. However, usually as our stomach and leg muscles are not so good at holding us in this position, the force of gravity wins and we either stumble forward or fall. As soon as we are on the floor or in a new position we are balanced once again, and we can maintain this position for a much longer time.

So the same thing applies to the psychological and physical realities, we basically fall or go backwards due to a lack in the balance amongst certain forces acting on and in our psychology and in our esoteric realms or dimensions.

There are within our psychological and esoteric constitution forces of the essence, of the Being and the work and there are forces of the ego and the personality etc. all acting within us. If it happens that we choose one option, say the work, the essence and the Being and we are balanced there in that position of taking the side of the work, and the forces of the ego begin to get stronger and stronger that balance will begin to become affected and then there will come a moment where we will not be balanced in that position because the force of the ego is too great and then will inevitably come a fall which only appears to seek balance. The result of the fall will be to take a position where the force of that ego is more in command of the person then the work, the essence and the Being. Usually, actually always the fall and the new balance will be complete when some sort of decision and action is made. When no decision is made and no action is taken the person is suspended in space and is not on either side (on both sides) , in such a state the person can not progress on either side.

When there is only one thing there is and will always be balance. However when there is duality balance must be sought. This is the difficult task seeking balance between two opposites or between two sides. This obviously requires wisdom, intelligence and love.

Classic Example

There is that classic example of how we start something with a fury, like meditating two hours a day to later in the following week to find that we have abandoned it and now instead of meditating two hours a day we are watching TV for two hours a day. This fall, is due to of course a lack of balance where the new very weak force was overcome by the forces of the ego, personality and body etc. The new force was not strong enough to establish a rebalancing of the person in their new position of meditating two hours a day. If the force was very strong it could have been done.

Why of the Fall?

Why do we fall, well that is easy to answer. The answer is that we violate some law, the principle law that we violate, being the law of balance. The reasons behind why we violate a law are many the main reasons have already been given and they are sex, money and power.

Temptation and the Fall

Before the fall there is always or usually always some sort of temptation, we are usually always tempted to fall. The temptation comes into play when the other force appears in us. Now, this other force which is an opposite to the line of our spiritual work can be brought to us by a recurrence, by the Typhon Baphomet or by our own sleeping consciousness, that is we allow the ego to get bigger and bigger in ourselves. No matter who or how the clash of the forces within us happens the natural result of the clashing of forces is a feeling of being tempted, we consider and get fascinated with the option of the ego.

Typhon Baphomet and Lucifer

The role of the Typhon Baphomet is to tempt us in order though to train us in wisdom and strengthen us. He does not want us to fall but his role is to tempt us so that we become invulnerable to falling. That is his job and so he has to polarise himself with the ego and do his work of tempting us.

Karma and the Fall

Obviously and very painfully the fall or a fall has very intense karmic consequences. Why, because the fall is the result of transgressing a law. Every fall implies some sort of karma, because with a fall we go backwards or down to where the level of the Being is lower and the circumstances are darker and of more suffering and difficulty compared to the level of the Being from where we fell.

Even the fall is a karmic consequence, because the law of karma is also the law of balance, so when we fall it is because the law of karma or balance has come into effect.

Usually the mistakes that we make that cause us to fall have their karmic consequences, and we have to pay those karmic debts for having made the error that produced the fall.

Even a fall can be karmic, that is it can be processed due to a previous karma. In simpler terms our own karma makes us or allows us to fall. This is of course because we have in the past done something to merit the fall or it is because we have to receive a tremendous lesson so not to fall to fall again. An initiate may be very close to the Being and very high up in the Great Work only to fall because of karma. This is obviously very painful and so it is done to never forget how painful the fall is and to not fall again in the future.

Master Samael gives us a very specific idea of the karma that is accumulated by a bodhisattwa that falls. He in fact says that the now fallen bodhisattwa is charged with betraying the white lodge, assassinating the inner Buddha (Atman) and various other minor crimes.

Karma and a fall or the fall, are very well related. We so easily for get this though. We often and that is part of why we fall because we are tricked by the ego that the fall will be make us happier or bring us pleasure or that things will still ok, nothing will happen or change if we fall.

Types of Falls

Two Types of Falls

There are basically two types of falls. One fall where we can recover from it and one fall where we have to start from zero again.

Even the above is relative, Master Samael said that when a bodhisattva falls he or she loses one third of all his or her powers. So the bodhisattwa is not really set back to position zero. However, if we treat the case where the mistake or error is not so grave, we fall to a lower level though with repentance and hard work we can regain what has been lost and advance again.

This situation, where we can recuperate what has been lost is symbolized internally by the Being descending from his throne, stumbling on the ground but keeping his sword firmly in his right hand. If the Being loses his sword then it is a definite fall, because the sword is the symbol of power, fire, virility and the kundalini. So losing these things the Being or actually the bodhisattwa of the Being loses his path and has to restart from zero.
A definite fall occurs, when the kundalini and all the raised serpents of the bodies, after making the mistake, descend and close themselves up in the coccyx once again. However, if the kundalini only drops a few vertebras then the fall can be recovered from.

The last thing to say here is that as karma and the fall are very related the type of all or rather the circumstances the person is left in, after a fall will depend greatly on the person’s individual karma. Every case will be different.

Final Stage of the Fall – The Most Important One

Any and every fall is complete when a decision is made and an action is taken in the physical world. The fall though may occur internally and maybe seen by others beforehand internally, though with time the fall will filter down to the physical world and will be manifested.

If the mistake does not happen physically it can be repaired, the Being can work from the causal to erase the filtering down of the mistake into the physical world.

Conclusion

Just don’t fall! Things will not be the same! Things will be worse!

Always keep a very watchful eye on these three things: money, power and sex! They are the avenues in which if a fall is going to happen, it will be due to one of these three factors. I repeat sex, power and money!
