Stand Still It can happen in life that we find ourselves in a stand still. Locked into a difficult situation with solutions in view but none that either or both parties wants to take up... Who is going to change and take up one of those solutions is the 'big' question in a stand still.  What typically keeps a stand still in place is the following: The Other Must Change One party believes the other must change and take up a solution. This solution is usually suggested by the party that believes the other needs to change.  The stand still comes about when the other party does not want to accept the suggested solution. The way true force expresses, that is the force of the Inner Being, is in serenity, peace, patience, trust.. It is not in violence and fierce activity as we so commonly suppose. Master Samael said that physical strength is the most inferior kind of strength. It is practical in human life yet in the psychological and esoteric work it is not the strength that moves us forward. It takes a tremendous amount of true force to remain serene before someone who is angry and violent. This curious point maybe complimentary for the "Seven Rounds and Seven Races" lecture. Master Samael says that in the Hyperborean race, human beings back then were androgynous and reproduced via sprouting. That is a new hyperborean would bud or sprout from the calf of a mature hyperborean, in a very similar way to the plants.  Wihtin our physical nature today this process of sprouting still remains. New hair and nails are 'born' and grown via sprouting. There is also remaining in our psyche today to do with the way of reproducing via sprouting from the calves.  There is within our psyche still a slight fascination, fixation or perhaps appreciation of the calves of the human being. Why the rigour in Gnosis? That is why the insistence in regular attendance and practice? The reason for it is that is and will be of major assistance to us. It may not seem as to why that is the reason, but underneath whatever we may see, that is the reason and that is the help that is formed in us. If we follow the rigour in attendance we will create in ourselves a certain magnetic centre and crystallisation that will really help us to continue working on ourselves whatever happens in our life. If we can no longer attend a Gnostic centre because of external circumstances then because of that magnetic centre and crystallisation we will continue working on ourselves. It is my musings on this short film that it was written for those already a little awake. To the sleeping person it will appear as pure fiction. However to the one who is a little wake and open to the esoteric (like you who is reading this), it won't at all appear to be fiction. It is a wonderful story, which is short and teaches us a lot.  It shows us marvelously how simple concentration can transform our life. It shows us how easily a simple mind accepts the esoteric. It shows us the realistic discipline, the consistency and what the wise use of psychic powers could look like. This is a question that we at first say to ourselves: "No, in this life, not in the next!". Though as we go along we start to think about it... Thinking deeply about it, it is not about of having failed but rather having worked and needing more time. When it comes to time and our capacity it is a realistic concern.  We have to be real with time and our capacity and not suffer. One thing though, all this thinking can't mean that we reduce the time, energy and attention we are currently putting into our work. It can only mean that we update our expectations while still doing our best. We know deep down that what will make the self-realisation of the Being to occur in the next life is that we do all that we possibly can in this life. What is important is the bridge, the connection between lives, so that the work done this life is carried over to the next to be taken up again. In general an organ in any person's body is strong and resilient because of the degree of vital values it has and how conscious we are of that organ.  There is something that we can do to increase or at least conserve the vital values that we have in our organs but there is much more that we can do about increasing our degree of consciousness of that organ. We can study up about any organ and then go to visualise it and start to try and sense it. The more we visualise it and sense it the more we will get to know it and the more familiar we become with it and gradually the more conscious we will become of it. It's the same principle that we find with our hands. Because we use our hands so much, we are more conscious of them, and so we feel a kind of appreciation towards them, a kind of natural control over them, an innate knowledge of them and a realistic view of them in the way of what they can do and can't do and how strong they are. Difficult but well worth the effort to do. To train ourselves to listen for what's behind the anger. Either the anger of others or own. We don't usually come to life with this skill. It is something we have to work at. Because it is an actively conscious action. Not a automatic, mechanical one. To do it means to consciously chose to not listen to our anger and listen with our consciousness to find the issue behind the anger.  What is it that is unfair or hurting in the other or in me that is causing that anger? Is the question to find an answer to. To train ourselves to listen with serenity is another tremendous skill. It means to listen without fear knowing that whatever is said is not something that must 'be' in this very moment. So the quick necessity of fear to react is not something that does not need to be. The longer I live, the more I see that the Earth is really a planet of diplomacy. Not because the Earth's key vibration is diplomacy, in the sense that for example, the key vibration of the planet Mars is spiritual strength, but because diplomacy is what we really need to relate amongst the human beings of the planet Earth. Master Samael said that he came to the Earth to learn diplomacy. Because it is something lacking on the planet Mars because they are so direct and because the ego there is not very strong.  A direct person always rubs people up the wrong way... Because the ego does not like to see the truth presented so clearly and forcefully. If we observe all the Masters towards the end of their lives become in some ways diplomatic, as they have graduated from from the many lessons that dealing with humanity has given them.  Diplomacy is needed here because the ego is so strong. The reason is that we are far too weak now days, physically and psychologically. The tests now are mostly internally so as not not harm us physically and to psychologically. Previously in by gone days, the tests of the path were very physical. The tests of the elements for example were all physical ordeals in the times of Ancient Egypt. Even the test of the Guardian of the Threshold can be passed physically by divulging to a group of people all of our errros of this life without omitting one single mistake or wrong doing. Obviously now days becasue the general level of dengeneration is so high to divulge all of our errors is not possible and even those listening are not mature enough to listen to number one: keep silent and number two, to listen, forget and act towards the perosn like they like didn't hear anything. Following on from the previous post, I believe one of the lessons learnt from the animal kingdom, to be transferred to the human, so as to live wiser as a human is this: "live like an animal, then suffer and die like one". To live as an animal is to live for the satisfactoin of the instincts. To live to survive, to live for pleasure, to live to satisfy all the appitities of the instinctive centre, whether they be related to: food and drink, sex, sleep, thrill, violence, comfort, security, distraction, the list goes on. We see the animals suffering in so many ways, even the strongest and most powerful of animals suffer as part of the nature of their life. They all die sadly alone - either violently or due to starvatoin or injury. Their daily life is one of intense effort to just remain alive - the fight for survival. The Itoklanos Principle is the principle which places human beings on the wheel of Samsara. When the human being fell in Lemuria, the human being was transferred from the Fulasnitamnian principle to the Itoklanos Principle. In other words, from being free of the great wheel to being subjected to it along with all of its transmigrations.  A characteristic of these two principles as master Samael explains, is that under the Itoklanos principle human beings repeat the same error time and time again, until learning the lesson, while under the Fulasnitamnian principle any error is only made once. The Itoklanos principle governs so much of human life, from the great things in life involving thousands of people to the small details of life. All of life is about making errors over and over until we learn. This is essentially how we all learn and become 'wise'. One of the important roles of a teacher of Gnosis is to teach the very important skills of acquiring information from our inner worlds. It is so important to teach students the skills needed to make a connection to their inner worlds. Gnosis is really not about knowledge but about practice. Eventhough the knowledge is profound and life changing what matters most is practice. One of the most important skills to be taught is how to direct one's attention. How to relax the centres. How to activate one's consciousness. How to ask questions of their interior and how to listen for the answers. How to distinguish the flavour of the ego. How to learn about the ego from its flavour. How to pray and how to undo the conditioning of relativity and duality in the mind.   With these skills all that we need for our work we can acquire. Without these skills we are like a tradesperson showing up to do a job without tools. End (5010).

It seems that when life and the path meet, it is life that always tries to subdue and crush the path. The path does not seem to do this to life. Why? Because life has no other means but violence. It does not have a transcendental nature and therefore the capacity to transcend the path. It is the path on the other hand that can transcend life. It is just something that the people who walk the path have to suffer through - the humiliations from life.  This is the nature of walking the path on this planet where life and the path form a cross of the vertical and the horizontal. The cunning walker on the path uses life to help him or her to advance, conceals the path from those of life and organizes things such that the two do not collide. End (5004).  

When the work is part of our nature we stop doing the work. We are the work. The goal is to make our work our life. The path can be made to be instinctive in us. Then we are becoming the work.  The human nature that we have has to be sublimated and surrenered to the Divine Being within us. Life in the three demons is the wrong life. We must at some point see this. The three demons are desire, mind and ill-will. Nothing changes abut us through time. Only the personality, our body and culture. However after the first mountain things change and we do defintely become a different person to the one that carried over from life to life. Life is really a continuity of ourselves, however after the third mountain this continuity modifies. To die in ourselves we must take into account the following points: 1.) Identity 2.) The Gnostic teachings are really the psychology of the superior worlds brought down, to be taught and lived here in the physical. The Gnostic teachings don't come from the psychology of human beings living here in the physical world. They come from the psychology of those who live in the superior planes of consciousness. From those who are awakened and have a psychology free of the conditioning of the ego. That is why the teachings are often not understood by people here, because the human three dimensional psychology gets in the way. The psychology of the superior worlds represented by the teachings put us in touch with the superior planes and the greater universe. The teachings at the same time allow us to see and understand the human psychology yet not be a product of it and not limited as it is. End (5006).

There are some dreams, especially those where there was an important conversation, that is vital for us to remember but unfortunately are very difficult to remember. The good news from my experience is that we can remember more and more of that important conversation. We just need a photo or a short video clip like memory of that conversation. Visualise that scene again and concentrate. Keep that scene present in the mind's eye for as long as possible focusing on it and waiting for feelings and memories to come up. Concentrate again and again the longer the better. The key is to concentrate and patiently and attentively listen for feelings and new memories to come out of the background of our subconscious. We can also get help by chanting the very good mantra: RAOM GAOM between durations of concentrating on the dream scene. Fuse We can fuse the practice of aligning our three brains with the practice of dividing our attention (key S.O.L). S.O.L Our instinctive centre can perceive our environment (Location). Our motor centre does what we are doing (Object) and our emotional centre feels ourselves (Subject). Intellect - Turn Off The intellectual centre is best used when needed. That is when we are doing something that requires the intellect such as counting or scheduling or calculating. When not needed it is best left quiet as it interferes. Divide Attention So if we divide our attention over our three brains, in the direction of: 1.) perceiving through the instinctive centre our environment; 2.) becoming aware of the motor centre; 3.) becoming aware of the feeling of ourselves in the emotional centre,  we can achieve an alignment of the three brains plus activate our consciousness. Introduction Tonight m.m.m spoke about laws useful to awaken. Notes How can we awaken consciousness taking into account cause and effect? In some way the one who is awakening remains unwaivered by cause and effect. Meaning in other words to be psychologically outside of cause and effect. To awaken and stay awakened we need to take into account giving everything the right proportion. To give everything the right proportion is balance. To give everything the right proportion we have to have some awakening in that area. To give everything the right proportion we have to take into account the whole picture. It is very much related to the perception of the whole. This law is one of the foundations of balance. We are skeptical of others because we ignore the big picture, we forget the good of the past and because of that we then don't give others the right proportion and lose balance inside ourselves and in relation to them. This law is physical, psychological, esoteric and ontological. ...

There are an almost infinite number of facts in this world and those facts are governed by laws. Those governing laws are much less in number and are mostly invisible to us. In turn those laws are governed by principles which are even less in number and are even more invisible.   A lot of the cosmic laws coincide in being invisible to our eyes. Some are more visible than others, yet they all appear to be partly or fully veiled to us. We only only see come to see them when by some kind 'good fortune' we one day discover them or they are taught to us. There are laws that work no matter what, whether we know about them or not. Examples are the laws of karma, recurrence, return, entropy, the pendulum etc. There are laws that only work when we know about them. Such as reincarnation, epigenesis, revolution etc. About the laws that only work when we know about them, it is said that they only work when certain conditions are in place, by us. There are laws that override other laws....

Sometimes on the work on an ego we need a breakthrough. To produce a breakthrough we need to come from a a new angle. A new angle could be the word. If we examine the use of the word that an ego has, we can get a lot of new understanding. The word of any ego expresses it's logic.  The word also expresses it's justification and reasons.  From that point of seeing its justifications and reasons we can have something concrete to 'get our teeth stuck into' to dissolve. Fascination or giving something an exaggerated importance is to lose our power. When we lose our power we lose control over ourselves. We get fascinated because within our psyche we have made what we get fascinated with, to be something greater than ourselves. Something that we can't stand or resist or possibly overcome or be normal about. To bring all things back to the real order of priority - the number one most important thing to ourselves and to everybody else, is the Inner Being. When we get fascinated energy flows out of our psyche and into the ego or mental representation directly related to the fascination. To not get identified we need to work on the fascination first. When the fascination is less we can then start to identify less and less.  Identification concerns identifying with the ego that is related to the fascination. However, fascination makes our consciousness so quickly identify with the ego related to the fascination. When we get fascinated we sign over precio...

We ultimately learn respect for the masters by interacting with them... Of course it is best to start with some respect. Usually the definition of a master inspires some kind of respect within us. Later with our interaction we deepen that respect. However it starts from within us. When we do petitions to the masters or invoke them, we are interacting with them internally.  By visualizing while making a petition we are in their presence. Then we will feel what is appropriate and inappropriate.  What we feel is appropriate is concentration, clean, clear and noble language, beautiful  imagery, appreciation, honour etc. etc. When we do the opposite of what we feel is inappropriate, we start to deepen our respect.  This way we prepare ourselves for when we meet the masters physically. The pride and anger combination can be very strong. Anger comes to protect pride when we don't accept we have got something wrong. Always the stronger the anger the stronger the ego behind it. For everyday pride it is a difficult impression to transform when we are told that we are justifying an error. However, if we are able to accept that we can get things wrong and we don't feel 'more' or 'less' for having gotten that something wrong, we can transform that impression a lot easier. So the key is to work on ourselves so that we feel normal or ok about us having gotten something wrong. In other words don't feel disappointed that we got something wrong and don't feel that we should have gotten it right either, and most important of all, don't feel that we can't get things wrong or that people can't point out things to us that we get wrong. The Law of Seven is vertical. The black waters that we all come to the knowledge with make it difficult for us to make sacrifices. Sacrifices are the engine for anyone's progress in the spiritual field and in any walk of life. The waters are made black from relating with our sexual energy in an unedifying way. Losing the sexual energy in any way, lust, adultery, using it for egoical purposes (pride, vanity, ambition), surrendering to desire etc. are ways of relating to the sexual energy that make it black. Introduction Follow this guide to align the three brains. One - Environment and Activity Know the environment you are in, and the activity you are in or are about to be involved in. Two - Motor Centre Know what you need to do with your motor centre, so that it will participate and align fully with the activity. Put your motor centre inline with that activity. There are three subtle feelings in any recurrence. First The first subtle feeling is that very quietly in the background, something, someone (a “I”) within us is happy. The flavour of the happiness is that another cycle is complete, the actor or actors in the recurrence successfully fulfilled another mission. Second The second is that of a temporary subtle illusory feeling, that having fulfilled the recurrence there is something good and it means something good...Something is now solved so that it won't happen again ...
