Weapons to Displace, Weaken and Dissolve Lust - (392)

Important

What is really important is that as soon as we discover something new about lust we put it to work inside of ourselves. As soon as we apply the new discovery the sooner it becomes a weapon in our hands to displace, weaken and dissolve lust. This applies to any defect really.

Sometimes we can have so many keys but because we don’t apply them they remain as just words, and of course we remain as stuck as ever in the mud of the ego.

Take Your Weapons With You

Something that I have found very useful is to take your weapons with you everywhere. Take them shopping, driving, walking, working, meditating, singing, showering, sleeping, talking, thinking, you name it, everywhere and anywhere that you go externally and internally.

Weapons

Runaway Sexual Centre – Out of Order and Balance

My main weapon against lust is now knowing that all the thoughts of lust lead to a runaway sexual centre and that leads to great imbalance and disorder. A runaway centre is against the order of life, the body, it is against harmony, balance, stability and what is logical and orderly. So when a lustful thought arises I remember this understanding, which allows me to comprehend that this lustful thought I am currently observing wants to create in me a runaway sexual centre situation where the sexual centre will end up operating against the benefits of the whole (body, mind and essence) or the other centres put all together.

As I am not interested in creating unbalance and a runaway sexual centre why do I need to look twice, or make efforts to try and grasp or even think about pursuing or even dreaming about “what if” or “What could have happened”.

Connect to Reality

Lustful thoughts are all one-sided and far away from reality. We think that other people are interested in us etc. If we just look at reality we will see that is not quite so, or at least as we think it is, for example they may be interested in us but not in the way we think (this is 99% of the time like this). If we see the reality of the situation we will see that lust in us abates quickly and reduces itself to barely a thought and our thinking and perception turns more normal and realistic.

Does that look, coincidence etc. really mean anything serious? If we connect to reality we can see that so much of our assumptions are real fantasy. People may have things in their subconscious but they are usually very unprepared to do anything about it. As soon as the subconscious is brought to light everything changes.

Why Look

If I have already a partner or spouse and I am committed why bother looking ! We are not going to go there anyway, why bother looking, nothing will come of looking, so why even bother to look? We just make fantasy worse and make our illogical assumptions even stronger and more out of reality. Why dream when we are going to remain as we are in the same position in reality? No point right?

Conclusion

Apply what you have understood about lust or any other ego that you are working on. That is where the difference is made – in the application of the keys.

An Esoteric meaning of Easter - (391)

A Note

The following text does not come from me but from notes taken from a talk given by someone very advanced in the Spiritual path and who is about to live, soon, his own intimate Holy Week.

Easter in the Intimate Universe of the Being

In the intimate world of the universe of the Being, Easter is extraordinarily significant. It is where the parts of the Being in the person who are expecting the culmination of the second mountain, that is the point in the path where the intimate Christ is about to die. This process is where the Being is about to recognize all his errors, debts, wrong doings before the Absolute.

A Difficult Period

When the intimate Christ dies it is a period of darkness where much has to be paid and corrected. The other parts of the Being have to work very hard to correct and pay for all these debts and get ready for the resurrection at the end of the years of Job.

Conclusion

That is an initiatic or esoteric meaning of Easter. Holy week is more meant to be lived within the person following the processes of their Intimate Christ.

Our Precious Intimate Christ - (390)

He is Special

The Intimate Christ for the people who are doing the work is something special. Him the Intimate Christ and the Divine Mother are the closest parts of the Being to us. Our Divine Mother comes to check us when we are very ill physically and when we are psychologically unwell. She heals us and helps us to recover physically and psychologically as well.

He Redeems from Within

Our Intimate Christ is the one who redeems and saves us from inside. When we are almost at the edge of the abyss due to one or another ego, we can appeal to Him to save us to help transform our possible fall, averting danger. He is the one that transforms that redeems us from being terribly stuck in the “I” to being free.

When Hope is Almost Gone – He is the One

When we feel that hope is almost gone, He is the one to help us. He can come to us and from inside extract all the wisdom and love from our experiences with the “I” and work in us, helping to extract the lessons that allow us the wisdom, conviction and strength to overcome the “I” and our beloved Divine Mother eliminates what we have overcome and understood.

Divine Mother and the Intimate Christ

They the Divine Mother and he Intimate Christ work together to help, no matter what state we are in. Even if we have not incarnated the Intimate Christ that power and that principle is within us somewhere and works to help us. Thank God, He the Intimate Christ is a God send to us.

Conclusion – Thank Our Father

For any help ever given to me from Him we have to thank our Father, our Being because it is due to His our Father’s compassion that He comes to help us. He the Intimate Christ mostly helps us through the human soul as the Human Soul is the Human face of our Intimate Christ.

Sexual Energy Sublimation - (389)

Introduction

Sublimating the sexual energy is to take your sexual energy to the Being. It is to transmute first your sexual energy and through prayer and remembering of the Being offer and fuse that transmuted energy into your Being/Inner Divinity.

Prayer and Remembering of the Being are Essential in Sublimation

Prayer and remembering of the Being are essential in any act of sublimation. We concentrate on and yearn for the Being daily during our prayers and various activities where we ask for help and so it is then natural that during the sexual activity or rather in the practice of Alchemy or sexual transmutation we concentrate too on the our inner Being and offer our best product – our transmuted sexual energy. It the most powerful and the most intimate energy that we have as it comes from all that we eat, breathe and think, feel and do.

Sublimation is a Complete Act

Sublimation uses all of our centres or brains. Prayer may only use the three centres, that is the intellect, the emotion and the motor. Sublimation uses all five centres. It is a very complete and full offering and surrender to our inner Divinity. Many people may offer their money, their external life, their thoughts but perhaps not the control of their sexual energy. They may still have their “I’s” of lust controlling/managing their sexual energy. Thereby making the sexual centre a runaway, where it constantly is being diverted by lust from the Being.

Conclusion

Sublimating the sexual energy is the way to transform our waters from the black colour or state to the white colour. So sublimation is the key to solving so many sexual problems as it brings us to suprasexuality and to the white waters colour and state which is clearer, calmer and less volatile. It is the waters under control. How marvellous hey! This is a tremendous key that can do marvels for a person.

Role or Function of Laziness - (388)

Introduction – A Curious Observation

After some observation it seems that the effect of laziness is to always stop the flow of progress or the continuity of work progressive or not, on a project. Whenever we are working on something that requires the input of continuous effort over several days, weeks, months or even years, laziness is ever present.

Role or Function

The role or function of laziness is as we know, is all about resting, and that is true in any project or continuous work the law or rest and repose is present, so is the law of work or activity. The overall balance in any work is the choice of progress and completion. So the function of the law of rest and repose must not be the dominant one but must be there to complement the law of work. That is rest to replenish forces and ideas so to continue and work more efficiently.

Laziness is really that principle of rest and repose but exaggerated or taken out of the instincts or natural order and put into the mind where it goes out of proportion and becomes anti-progress or stagnation.

Hypnotic Grip

The hypnotic grip of laziness is always to convince us that we are tired and that we need to rest now and that we can work later. Of course when we do we lose the flow of work to be done and our progress gets delayed. Most of the time we are not tired, it only appears that way. If we were to just follow our instinctive centre we would not be lazy, but we follow the mind and we get it wrong.

Laziness Stops Progress

Laziness is against continuous progress. If the creators were lazy we would not have creation as complete as it is today. Nature is quite laborious; just observe how much effort the animals go to survive.

Setting a rest period is necessary, and this is where laziness steps. Laziness being in the mind is one sided and out of proportion and so it gets things wrong and ends up as being an obstacle to our creations and progress.

Laziness Stops Creation and Life

Laziness stops creation! If we were all lazy creation or life would go into a steep decline. Laziness is there to break the continuous flow of work to be done. It is the opposite of the laboriousness needed to work in our creations, projects and spiritual work. It is a destructive ego as well.

Overcome Laziness

The right thing to do is to work and enjoy working and love working but when necessary rest to recover strength, ideas so as to be able to work better. That is the right perspective on work and rest and so laziness becomes redundant, when we follow the instinct centre. When our work efforts become fruitless it is time to rest.

Conclusion

Laziness exists when there is a flow or line of work to be followed and carried out. It will always appear then. The way to step over laziness is to not believe that we need a rest just right now but later on after working. So work first then rest. Resting after working is delicious. Though resting out of laziness is guilt and that which gives you a headache and makes you strangely fatigued.

Symptoms of Disconnection from the Being or the Work - (387)

Introduction

We can get disconnected from the work and the Being due to many causes and egos, not only due to lust or pride.

The things that we feel when we are in a low state of disconnection are the following:

1.) Feeling empty inside and feeling others and life are also empty and devoid of meaning.

2.) A loss of faith, one believes less in the work and in the possibilities of the work. One becomes more sceptical and cynical than before.

3.) One is polarized with the ego and believes more in the ego and the personality.

4.) One feels weak in all the senses, physically, vitally or energetically and spiritually. One feels like an empty shell.

5.) One feels confused, not sure what to do, to work on oneself and die in the ego or do nothing. One feels confused about the ego, it is difficult to understand the ego and to know what is clearly wrong and what is clearly right. The ego seems more right.

6.) We suffer a drop in the value of our self-image. One starts to think of one as a failure, incapable and degenerated.

7.) Loss of happiness. One only feels happy and relieved when Gnosis class finishes or we have time to ourselves and our own devices. So our happiness becomes very conditioned and relative to not working on ourselves. We are unhappy with the work. We lose our unconditional happiness if we had it, that is our happiness where we are happy anytime and everywhere.

8.) We are happy having a break from Gnosis and working on ourself. We don't look forward to retreats or other Gnostic activities.

9.) We associate with others who are struggling with the work, or have a negative attitude towards Gnosis or our instructor.

10.) We feel anxiety very frequently, because deep down we know we are in a wrong state and to keep this state for loo long will bring in karma and difficulties.

11.) We start to think that it is not bad that people leave Gnosis. We in general rebel against all the so called rules or dogmas. We defy the belief that people have "we will go to the abyss if we leave Gnosis" etc.

Conclusion

If any of these symptoms are being felt we can work or make efforts to change our attitude or state. If we employ our faith once again in the work and slowly start to work we can reverse all of this.

Awful Pride - (386)

Introduction

Pride is the ego in us that finds itself incapable of bowing down to another. It would rather just get angry or use anger to storm off. Especially when we for example have done something wrong or harmful to another with the ego of pride in our human machine (i.e. in our mind and emotions) somehow think that they should be grateful to us or forging. This is something very unrealistic, especially considering that we never act this way when others do us harm.

Pride wants Others to Lower Themselves

With pride we would always like others to end the tension, to break the ice, to succumb, to bow down to us, to apologize or forgive us. With pride we just want hold our high position and never stoop down, even when we are wrong. To be made to ‘come off our high horse' by force makes us very angry.

Pride Impossible to Lower Itself

Pride finds it impossible to lower itself when it thinks it or rather when it considers it has been treated unfairly or wrongly. It believes that we should be forgiven, apologised to or treated nicely.

To neutralize this we have to see our faults and see that we are not that 'high and mighty' and without fault. What is very important is to understand that harmony is better than the ugly tension' of pride.

Good Reasons to Forget Pride

Pride says 'why should I apologize or be nice' in a very intense protest. 'Why should I? Pride cannot see a reason to succumb.

There are really many good reasons to do so. They are:

1.) harmony
2.) friendship
3.) togetherness
4.) good future-relationship
5.) It is easy to do, just smile and say 9 am sorry.

Conclusion

Giving up pride can easily be done and it restores balance, if we feel the awful pride and we feel that we can not apologize, then we are unbalanced to the side of not fulfilling our part. We have to carry out our part and then if we do it we will balance our interior scale and we feel at peace.

Our part is to perhaps apologize and their part is to accept it.

End (386).

The Ego and Cosmic Order - (385)

Introduction

In creation there is order and balance, and keeping that order in place are laws and principles. These laws and principles present the order of things and hold everything together in balance and stability.

Essence and Being in Order, Ego in Rebellious Disorder

The essence and the Being are in accordance with those laws and principles. The ego in us on the other hand are not in accordance with those laws and principles. The ego is always the one that breaks these laws and principles. The ego free to act would erode, break, destroy all these laws and principles and eventually create a tremendous disorder.

Abyss is Anti-Order

The abyss is the place for the ego. This is because the abyss is the antithesis of the Being and the natural order. Disorder reigns in the abyss, as does breaking apart, disintegration and destruction.

The ego in us is connected to the abyss and is destructive in nature and because we have had the ego for so long and the consciousness in us is asleep we see the disorder and destruction of the ego as right or correct.

Learning that the Ego is Wrong

A part of the awakening in us is learning that the ego is wrong. This lesson or awakening can be learnt by contrasting the order and harmony in the cosmos with the nature of the ego. The law that the ego is against will teach us the lesson as to why the ego is wrong as soon as we become conscious of that law.

For example it is wrong to walk around naked because it is against the law that sex is intimate and sacred, and that we are all, or humanity that is, living in an inferior octave at the moment.

End (385).

Pursue the Path when Lust is Under Control - (384)

Introduction

With lust if we are able to control it and keep it under control and feel very satisfied doing that we can pursue the path.

Fundamental Step – Dash the Egotistical Need for Lust

This step is so fundamental. It is imperative. Basically we have to have psychologically and biologically tamed the sexual waters and impulses, and to then have challenged the belief that we no longer need lust.

We have to believe that we can live without the belief that says that we can't live without lust, that is without that psychological desire for gratification, distraction, adventure that it uses sex to fulfil. We have to have gotten to the stage where we don't need lust biologically or psychologically but we know for the path that it is needed, that is the Being in us needs sex, not lust to complete his inner creation.

Conclusion

We know very well that we need to transmute and that the transmutation is what satisfies and completes everything.

May All Beings Be Happy! - (383)

A Wish to Help - Practice

Is a wonderful wish. Imagine a beautiful blue light spreading from your heart covering the whole of the room, and filling the room and then extending to cover the street, the neighbourhood the city, the country the globe (Earth) then extending out to the other planets in our solar system. Imagine that blue light irradiating from your heart, healing, curing, benefitting and helping others.

Use this Practice when in Difficulty with Others

Master Samael gave a variation of the above practice to someone who was experiencing a certain difficulty with another person (Person A had offended or hurt person B). Maser Samael advised the person (person A) to concentrate on the heart, imagine the beautiful blue light extending toward the person (person B) and chant the mantra OM. Imagining that the blue light and the mantra heals and cures the person of the moral pain and harm.

This practice shouldn’t be a substitute for an apology or for some physical reparation but used to complement our efforts of reparation. It is especially effective and useful in cases where communication has broken down and there is high animosity (unfortunately this can happen but this practice can overcome it).

End (383).

Do Everything Consciously - (382)

An Excellent Practice

It is an excellent practice to go about our daily lives and do all the things that we do in a relaxed conscious state.

One Thing at a Time

Be conscious in everything that we do. To do this, just do one thing at a time. Be fully aware while acting, be alert and aware of the thoughts not allowing our consciousness to get caught in them.

Conclusion

In conclusion, relax, remember yourself remain alert and act. Master Samael said that what was very basic for him every day was to relax and self-remember.

End (382).

Awakening occurs by Facets - (381)

Awakening in the Areas of Life

The awakening of consciousness occurs in practical life via the awakening in or to certain facets or sectors of life.

Consciousness is Like a Diamond

The consciousness is like a diamond of many faces or facets. We happen to awaken the consciousness facet by facet at a time. In other words we awaken in the various areas of life at a time. For example we awaken to the word, to sexuality, to trust, to love, to the Divinity, to speaking the truth, to our relationship with money, others, the Earth, the cosmos, to our dreams to the astral plane, to life, to death etc. etc.

Conclusion

Through living in intense alertness with the intention of awakening we awaken in aspects of sectors of life one by one, In conclusion, by insight and later conscious revelation we awaken to the truth of the various laws, principles and reality in the events and happenings of life.

About the Absolute? - (380)

Introduction to Excerpts from V.M Samael Aun Weor

The following extracts inform us that the Absolute has three aspects or layers. This is an amazing surprise. Master Samael describes each of these three aspects in the following excerpts.

It is worth noting that the Kabbalistic and Christian traditions also coincide on there being three aspects to the Absolute.

The Three Circles of the Absolute

The Absolute has three aspects: Ain, Ain Soph and Ain Soph Aur.

Ain

“Ain, which is the same as Sat in Sanskrit; that is, the Unmanifested Absolute.”

Ain Soph

“Ain Soph, the second aspect. This is where a certain manifestation already exists. Here remain all creatures when the Great Pralaya (Cosmic Night) arrives, because they do not have the right to penetrate Ain, or Unmanifested Absolute which is beyond thought, the Verb, the atom, sound, beyond all that has form, number, weight, etc.”

Ain Soph Aur

“Ain Soph Aur, the third aspect in accordance with the Hebraic Kabalah, to be found here is the First Cosmos, the purely spiritual Protocosmos, the Solar Absolute formed by multiple Spiritual Suns.”

End (380).

Abstract Space and the Absolute? - (379)

Introduction to the Excerpt by V.M Samael Aun Weor

The following excerpt taken from Master Sameal works essentially describes Ain in much more depth then what was provided in the previous post.

This excerpt is also very useful to help us to understand more about the Absolute.

Please Note

Please note the following text is all one excerpt, I have taken to liberty to add in section titles to make it a little easier to read, these section titles do not appear in the original text by Master Samael and were not ever used by him.

Abstract Space

“Abstract Space is the Causa Causorum of all that is, has been and will be. Profound and joyful space is certainly the incomprehensible “Seity”, the ineffable mystic root of the seven Cosmos, the mysterious origin of all that we know as spirit, matter, universes, suns, worlds, etc.

“That”, the Divine, the space of happiness, is a tremendous reality beyond the universe and the Gods. “That” has no dimension whatsoever, and truly is that which will always be and has been; it is the life which palpitates intensely in each atom and each sun.”

Great Ocean of Spirit - Ain

“Let us now speak of the great ocean of the Spirit - how can it be defined? It is certainly Brahama, the first differentiation or modification of “That” before which Gods and men tremble.

Is “That” spirit? In truth I say to you that it is not. Is “That” matter? I say to you that it certainly is not.

“That” is the root of spirit and of matter, but is neither one nor the other. “That” transcends the laws of number, measure and weight, surface area, quantity quality, in front, behind, above, below, etc.
“That” is the immutable in profound divine abstraction, Light which has never been created by any God, nor by any man, that which does not have name.

Brahama is spirit, but “That” is not spirit. Ain, the unmanifested, is uncreated Light.”

Absolute is Life Free in its Movement

“The Absolute is life free in its movement, is the supreme reality; is abstract space which only expresses as absolute abstract movement, limitless happiness, total omniscience. The Absolute is uncreated Light and perfect plenitude, absolute happiness, life free in its movement, life with out conditions, without limits.

In the Absolute we pass beyond karma and the Gods; beyond the Law.

The mind and individual consciousness only serve to cause distress in life. In the Absolute we do not have mind nor individual consciousness.

There, we are unconditioned being, free and absolutely happy.

The Absolute is life free in its movement, without conditions, without limitations, without the mortifying fear of the Law; life beyond spirit and matter, beyond karma and suffering.”

My Final Comment

The “Absolute is life free in its movement” is one of Master Samel’s great pieces of wisdom. It has I think helped so many students, instructors and missionaries in their work of dissolving the ego. Why? Because essentially because it shows us how we should be authentically, originally when we had no ego and were pure essence. It is like a standard or level or state of consciousness to strive for.

The Absolute - (378)

Introduction to Extract by V.M Samael Aun Weor

This extract written by V.M Samael Aun Weor is very good for us to get an idea and feeling of what the Absolute is.

When one reads these paragraphs one comes to the conclusion that the Absolute is something indescribably profound, more profound than our greatest capacity of comprehension, yet we are all of it and that gives hope that one day we can know of its great mystery.

Extract

“The Absolute is the Being of all Beings. The Absolute is that which is, has always been, and always will be. It expresses as abstract absolute movement and repose. It is the cause of Spirit and of matter, but is neither one nor the other. The Absolute is beyond the mind; and the mind cannot understand it because what we must do is intuit its nature.

The Absolute is beyond conditioned life. Beyond that which is relative is the Real Being, (He). He is Non-Being because He does not retain any relationship whatsoever with our concepts, but is however, “The Real Being”. Because we do not understand this intellectually, for us all of this is as Non-Being, although it is the Real Being of Being.

To be is better than to exist, and the reason for Being of the Being is the Being itself. Our legitimate existence is in the Absolute, which is a Non- Being; to the human reason a non-existence.

The Absolute is not a God, and is neither a Divine nor human individual; it would be absurd to give form to that which does not have form; it would be nonsensical to attempt to anthropomorphise space.

The Absolute is certainly unconditioned and eternal abstract space, far beyond Gods and men. The Absolute is uncreated Light which casts no shadow anywhere during the profound night of the Great Pralaya.

The Absolute is beyond time, number and measure; beyond weight, chance, beyond form, fire, light and darkness. Nonetheless, it is fire and uncreated light.”

Conclusion

This extract by Master Samael at least answers for us what the Absolute is not, and invites us to change our concepts about the Absolute and about what God is.

End (378).

Why Learn about the Absolute? - (377)

Abstract and Impractical Perhaps

Naturally the topic of the Absolute is a very abstract subject and one that is seemingly impossible to grasp with our mind. After all, how can the finite (our mind) grasp the infinite, impossible! Despite this, commonly we regard the absolute as something so very far away and the study of the Absolute as something impractical. However, from a knowledge point of view, it is very useful to study the Absolute.

Origin and Destination

Why? Because, the Absolute is the very initial origin and the very final resting point of us all. The Absolute answers those two very fundamental questions that none of us seem to have an answer for, where have we come from and where are we going. We have come from the Absolute and we are going back there.

It is so useful to know where we have come from and where we are going, so to put our life into perspective and of course to understand our origin is to understand ourselves. To understand our final destination is to understand what we are doing here in creation and life, and how we must travel so to reach our destination.

Absolute

The Absolute is the cause of all things and the Absolute encompasses all. There is nothing that is outside of the Absolute. Just as the name suggests, the Absolute is the Absolute there is nothing beyond it or greater than it.

How can we Study it?

Only the great Masters or enlightened ones were more readily able to bring back to us knowledge of the Absolute, this is not to say that a person can not acquire knowledge of the Absolute, but because of the high development of the consciousness that these great enlightened ones had, they were able to experience the Absolute directly through mystical ecstasy and bring the knowledge of their experiences down to us here on Earth.

It just happens that Master Samael was one of these great enlightened beings that was able to go to the Absolute with his consciousness and as difficult as it was to express in Words, describe to us here how the Absolute is. The following posts are extracts on what Master Samael has to say about the Absolute.

Everything Revolves Around Sex - (376)

Introduction

I remember reading this statement from Master Samael and I never really understood it. Though it seemed really important to me to try and understand it, since it was saying that the basis of all human social activity is really sexual and that meant that if I couldn’t or didn’t understand that then I didn’t really know much about what really goes on in life – that there was something secret underlying truth that I was ignorant of.

This post represents one attempt at trying to understand this teaching of Master Samael.

Three Stages in Sexual Interaction

Every kind of sexual interaction has three stages, a beginning, a peak and an end. For supersexuality the peak is not the loss of the sexual energy and the peak can be at the same level of intensity as the end but the end is far in time from the peak. In normal sexual activities the peak is the end and the end in time is very close to the peak, almost coinciding.

Every interaction between human beings is sexual but not on the level of the interaction between the physical interaction of the sexual organs. The lustful person tends to take or gravitate or pull down all the human interactions to that level of the physical sexual organ interaction. The lustful person knows that they can not go to that level because it is not acceptable, so they use their word, saying things that have a double meaning, have innuendo and connotations at.

General Human Interaction has the Three Stages

Each type of human interaction is sexual in some way because it always follows these three stages. The correct vision Gnostically is to know that sex is everywhere though it is expressed in different octaves and we can not make the whole of life the sexual organs and the senses and the sexual act.

Lust has to understand this, that everything is not sexual at the organs level, but at the different octaves or levels of the exchange of life force, of which sexual energy is a direct expression of. Sex creates, and any human interaction also creates, such as friendship, trust, a deal, an agreement, a pact, a contract, a success etc.

Conclusion

The less lust we have the clearer and more correct our interactions will be in relation especially to others of the opposite sex!

Every human interaction involves life force or sexual energy and so it is sexual and it also has a beginning, a peak and an end. Even a simple conversation has these three stages.

This is one lesson from working to dissolve lust, this effort or work teaches the right use of sexuality in all the spheres of life! There is a correct expression or use of the sexual energy at the correct octave for every occasion and interaction in life. For example, a problem requires the use of our sexual energy at the level or octave of creativity and force to think of the solution and carry it out.

Who can Control Us? - (375)

Introduction

Who can control if we don't have weaknesses?

Imagine

Just imagine that if we did not have lust, anger, greed, fear, vanity, etc. we could not be controlled by anyone or anything.

Conclusion

So, if we do not want to be controlled or we feel controlled, work to eliminate or at least control your weaknesses.

With your control over yourself you will be immune from the control of others over you.

End (375).

Balancing the Three Brains - (374)

Introduction

To balance the brains is to align the three brains in everything that we do and or in the events and activities that we undertake.

Balance is Harmony

To balance the centres is to have the brains working in harmony related to that activity. That is no contradictions in the brains related to that event or activity.

Contradictions Splinter

Balance is stability, contradictions are a breaking apart, contradictions can not bring stability or unity or balance.

Conclusion

To balance the brains we have to eliminate contradictions.

End (374).

Continuity, Memory and Consistency - (373)

Introduction

Continuity, memory, purpose, capacity, and results are fire factors that go well 1g one-and relatively important in the work on ourself and for that matter in anything and in any project in life.

A Work

Whenever we take on a work we have an end result in sight and that end result gives us the purpose or reason for taking on this work.

Sometimes though, we have to though do the work for the love of doing the work and forgetting all about the end result.

Normally, after having the end result in sight and the purpose, we have our certain innate capacity to do the work. However we may not have just yet continuity and memory related to that work we are taking on.

Continuity

Continuing is a magic ingredient for success in any project or work that we take on. It is to establish a line of work, in other words a series of steps that build upon each other. Usually, we leave huge gaps between the steps and if the time that passes in one of these gaps is too long we slip backwards and lose the steps that we gained.

Then we progress in a forward, backward type of a motion. This is really not continuity.

Memory

Memory comes into the picture in establishing continuity. We need continuity to remember our previous steps and build upon those already taken. A good notebook with a reasonably detailed written record helps immensely.

Continuity Most Important!

The most or one of the most important things in the work is continuity and doing or making steps regularly, every hour, day, week etc.

Continuity allows us to establish a continuous line or flow and this, even though it is slow will lead to success in achieving the end result.

Capacity

We have to measure our capacity to establish a regular effort or series of steps. We have to be taking steps or trying to take steps regularly, say everyday but how much time, how much effort, how much intensity etc. we put in must be measured, according to our capacity.

If we overdo it we will get tired and we will stop our regular efforts. Then we will break our continuity and the end result begins to slip away from us.

Conclusion
