Believe it or not! Believe it or not evil begins in our sexuality. When go to one side of duality in relation to our sexual energy we initiate the beginning of evil. Duality – Cause of Good and Evil Good and evil are certainly duality, it seems that they are the first manifestation of duality. Good and evil are opposites and really they are derived from the sexual poles which according to Gnosis were the first manifestation of the opposite poles or in other words duality. So, in summary the first instance in the creation of duality, the opposites came through, or were expressed by sex, male and female. So, in sex we have the first holder of duality. An Ominous Name The tree of the science of good and evil is certainly ominous. It brings to mind the apple tree and the tempting serpent from the biblical scenario of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It brings to mind with some trepidation actually the fall of the human being and the human being and the exile from paradise (the Absolute). The Situation in Gnosis If we understand Gnosis well, we will come to the conclusion that Gnosis is not about us receiving and being pampered but about us giving and serving. This if I am honest is more what the real situation in Gnosis is about. A Wise Man A very wise man once said about Gnosis, that he came to Gnosis to pay, as this wonderful and wise man understood that everyone comes to Gnosis with a lot of karma, some more than others of course, but in general, we all have heaps to pay and Gnosis is a very marvellous way to cancel all the karmic debts that we have. Difficult – Why Not to Move between Centres? This is a very difficult subject actually and that is the reason why I am writing this post, in the hope to shed some light on the subject and make the issue much more understandable. You know I have seen many students really upset over this issue, and instructors as well. The Power of the Divine Law The power of the Divine Law, the esoteric body of Divine Beings that administer cosmic justice is immense. The Divine Law has power of our life and our death. What is it? Master Samael described it as situation or a very difficult state where the initiate is in a process of transition between darkness and light or in other words between the ego and the consciousness. The initiate has at the point of passing through the dark night of the soul a certain degree of awakening of the consciousness yet the initiate still has a large degree of ego, i.e. there is still sizable amounts of both light and darkness within the initiate. I tis also lust when we are trapped in or are only focussed on sensation, senses and matter. These four major indicators: devoid of love, care, respect etc., senses, sensations and matter are sure signs that lust is in our human machine. Surprising at First but Makes Sense! To someone who has worked on the ego for a while, this statement that the ego is in our genes becomes ever-so gradually more apparent, especially in relation to some egos. It is not so apparent in all the egos but in some, in the rather large ones that we have it can be quite apparent. Parents If you have the luck of having your parents still with you, you can by observation really come to verify this statement. The theory goes in Gnosis that the egos that we have, have a genetic component to them. We actually inherit in our egos certain characteristics that are present in the egos of our parents. Mystical Death the First Factor Pays the Most! A really good question is, which factor should we concentrate on? Some say the third because it gives all the merits that we need to progress in the second and in the third and some say the first. How can We Be Benevolent with Our Inner Divinity? We often wish that our inner Divinity is benevolent with us. In fact we all like being in benevolence and especially receiving benevolence. What about being benevolent with our inner Divinity? Most of the time we feel upset and complain in our mind or even out loud, when we are not given the things that we feel that our inner Divinity should provide us with. In short we only really think about receiving and very rarely do we think about giving back to our inner Divinity. Whatever has a Beginning has an End There is a principle in Gnosis that says whatever has a beginning also has an end. So any ego or any sort of creation will have an end one day, because it had a beginning at some point. This is why the ego of lust we have will have an end one day, either due to our voluntary efforts or the result of the efforts of nature working involuntarily on us. It is important to say here that the Being in us, the divine, immortal and universal presence has never had a beginning and so will never have and end. You as a spiritual Being or as a soul cannot be lost! But your egos which are creations, wrong ones at that will one day be dissolved and have their end. What is the Sexual Energy? To be very plain and clear the sexual energy in the human being is the reservoir of energy in the body that is used to function sexually. Why do we have a Crisis? Sometimes we pass through a crisis and the reason why we pass through it, it seems, is to first find out what is in our heart and then define our heart. Typically these crises are to do with definition and we usually end up in such a crisis because we have been harbouring a contradictory attitude for too long and we have wound up at a very critical point. Crisis Sometimes we pass through a crisis, and it seems that the secret reason of that crisis, is to first find out what is in our heart, and then later to define our heart for what we have discovered is in it. Sleeping Essence? By sleeping essence we mean the essence trapped or bottled in the ego. By ‘bottle’ (symbolic) we are referring to conditioning, from the psychological point of view the ego is a degree of conditioning. From the esoteric point of view the ego is a metaphysical entity or a bottle or container trapping a piece of essence.
