Gnosis Wisdom

The moment is a refuge. The heart temple is another refuge. When assailed by strange emotions and thoughts, seek refuge. Non-identification allows us the light. When identified one thing becomes in a given moment the 'be all and end all'. Only really our essence has that place to be 'the be and end all'. To seek the light solves our problems, out and in. Light is intelligence. We can seek light from within and from without. To seek the light we need to bring our light. Or at least look towards the light and make an effort towards it. This is by the law: reciprocity, correspondence and affinity. Always seek that which will reply or which is capable of replying to the essence's questions. Those answers are within and in the teachings and in those who live the teachings. The old outside seeking methods will not satisfy the essence. If they did all of our essences would be overflowing with riches and none of us would be here.   End (3926).

For all of us working on ourselves, recognising the inner lacks in ourselves, and recognising our outside compensation for those lacks helps a lot and it does help fill them in a certain way but honestly we are still like in our physical constitution left not quite fulfilled. This is all because we didn't practice! From our comprehension we may find that we lack a value of the essence, that is something that we have always been searching for, or we may find that we lack something such as force, light etc. but what happens is that we normally don't go further, we usually leave things there at the point of comprehension, but the intimate fact remains we are not quite fulfilled and the thing is we can go and compensate for that again later on. We have to go to practice, go to do a mystical practice, a transmutation practice, a prayer kneeling, a massive long KRIM at the feet of the Divine Mother etc., a good meditation etc. We just have to practice, that is integrate into the moto...

There's a point where an ego is just a pest. We really want to be at peace and it brings its same suggestions, thoughts, images, impulses to us all the way through the day. It's sort of like a mosquito. So with a mosquito we usually spray it, which is best no more pesky mossie, or we apply some repellent or go inside the house. The same for us with this pesky little ego. Spray it dead with the help of the Divine Mother and KRIM, generate a strong force field of inner will and determination, or self-remember and go to the heart temple. End (3924).

We may instinctively think it will help us be more conscious, or solve things, or make us feel better, but we are not right in thinking that. Only like draws like. To be more conscious we need the consciousness.  There is no point in going into eating, sleeping, drinking, shopping, music dreaming and other ways of dreaming, video games, TV, movies, internet, YouTube etc. because they all push our consciousness further away, and we can't get the light and force we so desperately need.  When a person has vices, they tend to turn to these for help. But they are not good helpers at all. When we have little vices we become passive to the consciousness which is not much of a help. We have to make ourselves active to the consciousness, open to it to make the right conditions for it to appear in us. End (3923).

We try earnestly to be conscious when we totally need it. When it is as necessary as air for us. When nothing else is any good and offers us only confusion. Then we really really seek the consciousness. There are many things to do.  One is to select our thoughts. Let so many thoughts go. There are so many thoughts that are not helpful. Following those thoughts is even more 'not helpful'. Concerning an issue, there are many lines of thinking or logical processes that are not helpful either. We can select to think other thoughts or chose to them let go and not think. We need to make in ourselves the right conditions for our consciousness to appear. Otherwise it just won't appear. We need help from our interior Divinity for so many things. We need help. We do the work alone. Every person who has finished the work, all the great masters had help. As a general rule I find the more conscious we can be, the better state are in, and the more we are helping ourselves, and the more we are prepared to receive and understand the help that may come. We at times want something magical. A magic wand to be waved, and all our troublesome, obscure thoughts and emotions made clear and understood... We may get that help at the wave of a magic wand or maybe it appears in time or happens in a very different way or happens totally incognito... Thinking, protesting, comparing, complaining doesn't help... This does not draw the help we need closer to us. We have to try to make ourselves the most conscious that we can be to get that magic help we need. To not think at all and to pray. Keeping our mind as clear as possible for as long as possible is the best advice we can give ours...

When we start we believe in the Divine Mother, Her existence in us makes sense but we don't really know Her or experience Her or relate to Her in an alive direct way. We need to use our imagination to see Her, to talk to Her, to feel Her presence. Our imagination is a medium for Her to relate to us, for Her to talk to us, by transmitting light, love, and Her help to us. So we need to everyday, many times a day imagine Her as powerfully and vividly as we can. Chose whatever representation that allows us to do this. Then after we I don't know have built up something like a bridge or channel or I don't know what is in our imagination we will see that representation take life, or new details about Her start to appear in our imagination, ever so subtly and naturally. We must open our heart to Her, pray to Her, explain all our concerns, yearnings, She always helps us but all that I can say is that She becomes a stronger power in us when we imagine Her, pray to Her, love Her many ...

Skepticism does that. It says that the past is the same as the present and the future will be like the past. That is no changes, the same things continuing forward.  It does not recognise nor accept the changes already made and because of that it can't see those changes working ahead of itself in the future.  This is skepticism related to our esoteric work.  Our first step to overcome skepticism is to see it in action. See how we see a future of nothing happening and how we project that onto the future of ourselves and others and how we don't accept the progress of others and ourselves as real.  Once we see it in action, we can know that it is plain old skepticism, and then we can begin counteracting it by accepting and recognising our own work. When we do that we can begin to modify that skepticism and replace it bit by bit with conscious faith. We will then naturally become encouraging and optimistic about the work of others. Boasters are Scary Whenever I hear a boaster in the esoteric studies I tell myself: "Oh no - best wishes, may all go well".  No one is a constant hero - triumphing all the time. In the long run, as a trend, yes yes yes, that is true the Being is a triumpher. It is a law that every exaltation is preceded by a humiliation and the one who has worked on him or herself for a while knows that feelings of strength don't last long before we are hit and sent back to work hard. So one learns after a while to be humble, enjoy a rest for a while after a long battle but be wary that always a descent or a humiliation is needed to progress further and it is never far away. What are carnal passions really? Master Samael mentions that term "carnal passion" often in his books, as does Dante Algieri in the "Inferno" part of his literary work: "The Divine Comedy". They are an itch that is felt in the body and we apply our passion or enthusiasm to scratch that itch.  Passion is not a bad thing, it is essentially enthusiasm. It is just where we apply our passion is the question. If we put our passion into dissolving an ego we get some good results. If we apply it into pursuing a desire we get that desire fulfilled etc. which is maybe good maybe bad depending. There is wisdom in that teaching that says we must chose our passions, our enthusiasms. A conscious person is always one who has before him or her the freedom to chose! So many things make a leader. Values is one of them. A person naturally becomes a leader when he or she has held up high, a certain value against great odds. The value of dong this is a kind of moral force that commands respect and invisibly maintains a group marching together. One of the avenues the force to lead comes from, is having upheld a value, having defeated many obstacles inside of oneself that tempted one to lower that value to the common. Leadership in any area is not for the one weak in values as there is no force to lead people to the higher value.  End (3915).

Above the horizon there is a full 180° of options and things to do. There is no reason to go below the horizon. We are more than guaranteed to find something restful, refreshing and fulfilling above the horizon.   Often people having worked hard for a while seek a kind of a break and for the one working on him or herself with spiritual goals, above the horizon is always the better choice. Here are some practical work points. Obviously the post has been written from a man's point of view, however it applies just the same to a woman. Because it is to do with principles. So a man sees a woman and feels some attraction, desire or anything else we wish to call it. Allow or work to give victory to the right thing in you!  Allow the right thing to remain forefront in you! Ruling your thinking and feeling. We lose it, its gets dethroned. Only notice and bring it back. To bring it back is not impossible. We had it there a little while ago, we can bring it back again. With the essence there at the forefront, remembering its Father-Mother it can enter into our thinking and feeling.  When I yearn for the Divine Mother in Her strength I like to imagine Her as above. When it is present in our thinking and feeling we can face many things in order, in balance, in control, with wisdom, we can feel optimism, and we can dispel fantasy (positive or negative). Sometimes due to circumstances we get swamped psychologically with problems and stress etc. we can start to forget the work, the Being, the essence, the knowledge and its like we see ourselves drifting further and further away from the shore into the lonely, barren and unrelenting deep sea.  We just have to say "Ah #$%& these problems, stress and hurry" and swim back to shore. Connect back again to the work, to the knowledge, read, study and practice again.  In other words don't let life's circumstances make you fall asleep. Stop, hit the brake and seek the Divinity within! Maybe we lose this or that but it may not be worth losing our work, our consciousness for. Obviously we need help when we are in these times or states, and to let ourselves helplessly drift out to sea going far away from our Inner Divinity where all our light, life and love is, is silly! Here is something new to do with polarities between us and our Divinity. When masculine and feminine come together, each one becomes active in its nature. The masculine becomes active and emissive and the feminine becomes passive and receptive. Right got it, can't deny that. So if you are a man and you want more of the qualities of the masculine in a given moment, then you are wanting your masculine principle to rise and so then we must pray and connect to our Divine Mother, to the eternal feminine. Because when we connect to Her, She being the eternal Divine feminine, the masculine principle in us becomes active. Then praying to Her asking for those qualities makes us to receive them. We think that we should pray to the heavenly Father in secret for those masculine qualities but praying to the Father does not quite do that, it makes other qualities more active in a man. Introduction Here are some ways that our mind tries to get rid of the unpleasant thoughts, emotions and sensations that arise in us. Just before I list them, if we know what our mind does we can switch to what our essence does. Sounds promising doesn't it? List The mind uses aversion. Aversion is not the best strategy in dealing with the unpleasant. But the mind still uses it. The feelings of aversions are contraction, discouragement, self-pity and bargaining. The remedy is to be totally clear and open to the arising and feeling of it. Consciously watching it, conscious attention. If we don't open up fully to it, we feel fear, then it gets worse, and we start to ask how long will it last and we feel even more nervous.  We can use bargaining in our mind. We think: "I'll work on it, observe it, understand it and be conscious of it and open to it if it goes away". This does not cure it. The remedy to aversion once again is clear conscious openness. When a disturbing or unpleasant thought arises with an awfully unpleasant emotion we look for comfort.  We do this instinctively. I think it is good to try to make that instinctive escaping more conscious.  Usually we look for something quite engaging that will take our attention completely away from that thought and emotion or conflict or problem.  We think that being more conscious in these moments of escape will just make things worse or be too much. Good example: now that's a tempting escape, take a hot bath with that view. Well first we have to try and see if that is really true. We know why we go to watch YouTube because it means relaxing and interesting and comforting etc. But our essence feels like that as well, except that it is consciously relaxing, open, novel and comforting? Desire has many different forms . We need to know this because without knowing we can't cure anything. So they range from an life overtaking obsession to attachment, to addictive craving, to recurrent fantasy to a passing want of something. Desire comes from the pleasant nature . We experienced a pleasant thing and so we desire it again. Where is desire taking us? Is a good question to ask ourselves! Desire does not satisfy us! This we have to know. We have to know this down to our bones. Not to be driven or caught up by desire . This is our goal to do with working on desire. Joy of renunciation . Is a good means to work on desire. Addiction to a desire is the burden and renunciation is the freedom . We must see renunciation as the freedom. Normally we see desire as the freedom to seek comfort. But renunciation is the freedom and the joy. Desiring everything is hell. Peace is letting things pass by. Desire distracts, detracts and disturbs . Imagine watching all these TV commercia...

So I've just finished writing this weird post. I'm asking myself where did this came from, obviously from me, but why, I'm not in that difficulty. Anyway here it is maybe someone will get some benefit from it. Before reading it is good to know, that there are many binges from the subtle (thinking, fantasy, planning etc.) to the gross (drinking, gambling, sex etc.), they all really are the same, except for their consequences, but leaving each one of them follows the same principles.  That's an impressive breakfast. The binger, deeply underneath it all wants self-control. The binger yearns deep deep down to find the special key within him or herself that will cure him/her and give him/her that control. Not that control of sheer will power but the control of deep comprehension that fuses nicely into the very essence of the person healing that gaping and aching wound or that strange something that escapes us.  Having not found it, the binger dives in again hoping to find it...

Anyone's purity is their best protection and their best magnet.  It is one's best protection as one who is pure is one who is clear and has not done wrong things in thought, feeling and action and so have justice on his or her side. The very strong powers of justice protect the pure one if not right now definitely later perhaps when it is most needed. The white powers, the enlightened beings are attracted to purity. Human beings who are seeking purity are also attracted to purity for the learning, for the benefits of its luminous radiations for the consciousness etc. We probably would all like to give something to someone who is pure because we know that they would not misuse it. Do the same when we invoke an angel in purity our chances are much better. Obviously the heavy egos and the negative forces don't like purity, too boring, too stupid, like stagnation etc. It has for them a flavour they dislike that tastes bad that turns them away. A list right? A list of qualities: virtues and defects, a list of titles, a list of roles, a list of points of view, a list of styles, a list of experiences, a list of sufferings, a list of dislikes and likes, a list of strengths and weaknesses, a list of skills, a list of abilities, a list of victories and defeats, and the list goes on... (pardon the pun). That's life - things accumulating, lists forming and filling out, experience and debts accruing... Death is list deconstructing...list erasing...  If we want to know ourselves in real values of Being we will know ourselves in the struggle to die psychologically and we will know others when they are in their fight to die psychologically. Maybe it is only in difficult circumstances that we get to know ourselves and others. The rest is just more or less you know West Australian strawberries which look nice but taste insipid because the soil is too sandy, lacking the nutrients which give strawberries their wild and exotic flavour. Jesod is what? The vital body, the etheric plane and the sexual energy, the waters of life. In the tree of life seen as attributes Jesod is the one that represents purity.  In the tree of life there is also a very interesting connection. Jesod is directly connected to Malcuth and to Kether. Meaning that Jesod directly affects Malcuth and Kether. If we mess up Jesod we also mess up Malcuth and Kether. Jesod is the source of life for our whole tree. Sensual love does not free us, it rather traps us. People get stuck in the sensations and emotions for years and don't transcend them. There are so many like that, all their unhappiness and mood swings, complaints etc. show this ad nauseam. The people working on themselves are called to do this difficult work. Conscious love which is more difficult to arrive at, but it does not enslave us. Because it does not make us fearful. Conscious love begins when we have a permanent centre of consciousness within us.
