Anger arouses the person and then foreplay begins. That is, the two people start to feel annoyed or frustrated and then they begin to stir each other up. There are abrupt challenges, ironic and sarcastic comments, instances of mockery and insult accompanied with demeaning accusations etc. etc. After the act of foreplay, the initial annoyance or frustration has heightened, and then the angry exchanges begin.
