Perfectionism is Compensation - (5836)

An ideal enforced absolutely, in a relative and imperfect world breaks balance. Because it is impossible to secure an ideal perfectly in the physical world. An ideal can be secured perfectly in a perfect world. For example, mathematical laws hold perfectly true in the abstract world of mathematics, however in the physical world new variables and constants creep into the equation. Whenever there is an imabalance there is compensation. Perfectionism comes from some kind of inferiority.  It is hard to find but it is there... End (5836).

How Our Mistakes Through Repentance Become a Force of Love - (5835)

When we look back at some 'big' mistakes we have made and there is repentance in our heart the memory of that mistake creates consciousness that brings love. That love carries us forward towards more conscious action. The magic ingredient to turn our worst past misakes and actions into love is repentance. Repentance has been taught to be a Christic factor.  It just goes to show us how the Christic factor is marvellous in its single ability to make darkness work for the light in a way that is extraordinary, and this would not be possible if there was no darkness there previously, to be transformed into light. Is light just light no matter where or how it comes about? Or is the light that has been trasnformed from darkness different and have something special to it? Who knows... The paradox is that greater love is born from previous hurt transformed... To love deeply there has to be injury? End (5835).

Annoyances at the Body's Nature - (5826)

It is a lack of our good will to express annoyance at another person because of the sounds they make when they eat or drink.  Here are some observations about this situation: We don't get annoyed at the sounds we make when we eat or drink.  We tend to get more annoyed when others are eating and drinking and we are not. We tend to get annoyed when others eat and drink quickly most especially when they are enjoying what they are eating and drinking. We tend not to get annoyed when we have eaten and we have prepared the food the other person is eating and enjoying.  These observations aid us to understand that the annoyance we feel is actually in a big part from the factor of selfishness in our psychology.  It seems that when selfishness is pleased somehow we are ok, but when it itsn't we get annoyed. The remedy here, is to feel happy that the other person is enjoying nourishing their body howevere they chose to. Selfishness gets disturbed at others enjoying nourishing ...

A Person's Atmosphere - (5834)

A person's atmosphere is interesting, it holds lots of information about the person. It is there is plain site for anyone to read. The useful thing is to be able to read it. A person's atmosphere holds information about the person's level of being, what they have been thinking and feeling about as well as their immediate internal state. A person's atmosphere is usually filled with the end result vibrational quality of what they have just been doing. Someone just coming from a musical concert will have that in their atmosphere, someone just coming from the hospital will have that in their atmosphere and so on and so on. A person's atmosphere is what we can perceive if we look carefully at a person. From within a person's atmosphere we can see the person's presence of cogniscience and perceive the particular flavour of their psychology.  It is a special kind of looking that is not physical but it is of a psychological and or conscious type. It is a type of per...

Grounding, Presence, Meditation and the God's of the Earth - (5833)

Work with your element to get you started. To start with familairity and affintity if available often leads to a easier and also a good start. Each element has much to offer. We all have our affinities with the elements. The Earth element is very helpful for meditation. As all the elements are. It is the earth element that may teach us the most to start with. Being present is mostly related to being grounded, that is to the Earth. It is difficult to focus in meditation if we are not grounded. When we are not grounded we are too easily overcome by the air element in our thoughts and the tendencey to float around amongst the winds of thought. Establishing and maintianing a practice of presence or meditiation is very much related to the Earth element. To learn more and draw more from any element we need to become one of the features of that element. For exmaple to draw from the Earth element become a mountain. To draw from the water element become a lake. To draw from the air element beco...

An Alchemical Couple Can Not Be Anything But Abundant - (5831)

By its very nature the sexual energy is abundance. The sexual energy is creative power and it is the primordial base energy of all creation. This means that it partakes in everything and is the centre of everything. Master Samael also says that the sexual centre is a centre of gravitation, meaning that many things will have the tendencey to gravitate around it. This tells us that it is magnetic, that it attracts and creates. A couple working in the Alchemy firstly conserve their sexual energy, and secondly they fecundate it, giving it creative power. These two actions increase the potency and magnetic power of their sexual energy. The blending of their two energies in the practice of the Alchemy causes a creative multiplication that attracts and opens new possibilities and opportunities.   A couple or an indiviudal working alchemically or hermetically with their energies can only bring abundance to their lives. The sexual energy that is potent seriously attracts abundance. Lik...

Remembering the Being through the Head and Heart - (5832)

It's different to remember the Being through our head than through our heart. Through the head we experience a spike of consciousness that says: "what am I doing here?" "Who am I?". Questions arise that are deep and probing and can make one feel very uneasy for a while. Through the heart we experience the flash of renewed consciousness as a joy that says: "I am here in the world!". "I am present!". It is affirming and it makes one feel grateful, responsible and embracing of our life and our Being here in the world. We may feel courageous, expansive and loving. The most intelligent way is to combine both head and heart together to receive the benefits of both centres which combining together produce something new.  End (5832).

Old Notes on Will Power - (5830)

Not Will Power Excuses, evasions and justifications are the opposites of will power. The above things stop will power from developing. If we work seriously on eliminating them we will strenghten our will power. Evading responsibility is the biggest act of evasion. Responsibility and consistency are also will power, as is discipline and persistence. Will power is used 'to be' and 'to conquer'. What is not and what does not lead to conquering oursleves is not will power. Ill-Will The element of reinforcing ill-will is justification. Ill-will needs the ego to manifest. Good will needs the consciousness to express. The awakened will uses the free consciousness. If we have good-will it will draw the consciousness closer and closer. When we align our centres with a virtue we are engaging a high part of our being that mulpties benefits for others. Ill-will also multiplies the benefits for the egos.   Clairvoyance is best used by not destroying people's ideas but helping an...

Anger Mostly Comes from Not Seeing - (5829)

Anger blinds and also produces memory loss. Anger has the function of defending, protecting and correcting. Anger is related a loss of vision. When we get angry our ability to visualise disappears. Because of a lack of vision, that is usually not being able to see what others are saying, we get angry.  Often also not being able to see our own truths in a pressurised environment we can get angry.  When we can't see a truth, or see the real reason for something, or see a defect we have or an error we are making, we get angry. When we can't see the solution, a way out or a better way to do something we get angry. When we can't see an alternative to our desire or that letting go is better we get angry.  To stop being angry we need clear, wide and deep vision. Getting angry ruins this vision and cultivating this vision weakens anger. End (5829).

Values have their Order - (5827)

Every quality has its order. If we get the order right we express that value freely and beautifully in such a way that it helps both ourselves and others.  If we get that order wrong it either disadvantages others and later ourselves or vice versa.  The order is the right application and often this is what confuses us and takes us so long to work out. For example, happiness is not about being happy with what we want but being happy with what we already have. Trust is not about trusting others but much more about trusting ourselves. So that when we trust ourselves we can trust others even if they do not inspire trust. Becasue we trust we can handle whatever happens. Order is defined as the place where we centre our attention, that is the point where we place most of our attention on. Love is about loving consciously ourselves first to give to others of the love we have.  Giving is about giving to ourselves until our cup is overflowing and then giving of the overflow to oth...

Additional Balance Notes - (5828)

When we ourselves are unbalanced, or we are in a situation that is unbalanced, to keep ourselves or that situation going, a tremendous amount of effort is required. That effort very quickly becomes unsustainable To sustain an imbalance, which is something that lacks true order, enormous effort is required. Crime is a very good example oif this. Crime is very costly and requires great effort to commit and to recover from. Crime we all know is imbalance and is against the order of things. When things fall down it is a call to balance or a re-balance. It is easy to become a saint or a sinner. It is much more difficult to become and stay balanced. Because neither the saint or sinner work with consciousness. The consciosuness balances. It is the agent of balance. The general pattern of the saint and sinner is that they are respectively good or bad in a certain area and the sub-areas relating to that area. Each saint and sinner are the same in that they are mixture of good and bad. Neither i...

Declare for Dharma - (5825)

Our life is the place to create dharma and karma. Dharma and karma for us and our Monad together. Our life here in the physical is the place for us to manage our dharma and pay our karma. To do something expecting a specific return does work to bring us dharma.  To give 20AUD to get 20AUD does not really work to bring us dharma or pay our karma. Because we are not working with the law consciously. We are working with the law mechanically with the expectation of greed ('having'). To work consciously with a law to bring dharma, means to work with that law using the values of faith, love, hope and trust. Without these values we are working mechanically and dharma is not going to appear. The law will still work mechanically, we will get 20AUD at some point but we won't get that multiplication which is dharma nor that freedom which is the payment of karma.  Principally we need faith and love to work consciously with these laws. We work with a law based on conscious faith where w...

Dharma and Karma in Relationships - (5824)

Accumulation of dharma and karma also applies to relationships. That is the secret why many relationships work and others do not. When a relationship works there is dharma or merit. When a relationship is problematic there are debts. Putting values to work in any relationship creates merit or dharma. Merit or dharma makes things to work smoothly. Even if the ego is well and alive in both people. Debts can also be accrued, by not using values in the face of the many different events and scenarios, relationships encounter.  The very first time two people meet there is no karma or dharma, this the most nuetral point. Merit or debt can be created from there onwards. When there is merit or debt, it is clear that two people have meet and interacted before. When co-operation is required and there is merit, it is easy to bring co-operation, and values are used multiplying the merit. When values are deficient, to bring co-operation and make things work as they apparently should, coercion ar...

Anger as Clue to the Unseen About Ourselves - (5823)

One of the worst kinds of anger is the anger that is unkown, and is disproportionately strong.  This kind of anger is that way for a purpose. It is there for us to receive a shock and investigate. This kind of anger alway hides something about ourselves, it tells us that there is something that we are not facing nor accepting about ourselves.  It says there is something that needs correcting. It says you are believing the oppsitie of what it is trying to show you. It says take notice, accept, correct and gain the strength in your essence that this anger manifests with.  End (5823).

Resistance Accumulates - (5822)

The best way to face resistance is to always notice it as early as possible, that is, notice that what we are thinking and feeling is resistance. Recognise it as resistance, accept it as resistance, find out what the resistance is exactly to and find out reasons why. Then find something useful in accepting the resistance, sit in the resistance, be happy and dissolve it.  Working on seriously on resistance we won't get the accumualtion of resistance which manifests silently, unexpectedly and mysteriously in an unknown and hiddden way where we get sick and all sorts of obstacles suddenly fall in front of us. End (5822).
