We are Part of the Earth
We usually think that we are something separate, distinct or
different to the Earth. When we think that, of course it opens the way for us in
our minds to justify our abuse of the Earth. To rob its precious metals and
minerals, to control, destroy and profit from its vegetable and animal life. We
think that the Earth and us are different, that the Earth will keep on living
even if we continue to abuse the Earth.
The truth is though that we are really an important part of
the Earth. We are actually an organ of the Earth. The Earth is really our
Mother, she is the one that gives us life and sustains our life. We are the
ones that are dependent on her. How wrong our way of thinking is. It is also important
to say at this point though, that she the Earth is in some way, dependent on us
as well, we will see how later on in this post.
Humanity as an Organ of the Earth
We say in Gnosis that if we were to die, that is if the
whole human race were to die out, the Earth would soon die out as well. We are
the Earth’s most important organ.
Gnosis says that esoterically speaking among many other things
that the human being is, the human being is a transformer of energies. The
human being (through its three brains) actually receives cosmic forces or
energies, absorbs them, transforms them and later transmits them to the Earth,
so that the Earth can be nourished. The Earth is fed from the cosmos we say in
Gnosis. So the Earth also needs food and is dependent on the cosmos and us to receive
that food.
Every animal, plant, tree and mineral or rock does the same
thing, though they receive different cosmic energies and transmit different
kinds of energies to the Earth.
So we, in conclusion are an organ of the Earth and we are
part of the Earth and we are necessary for the survival of the Earth. Also we
live off the Earth and we are totally dependent on her and the full functioning
of all her systems.
Earth’s Machinery
We are part to the Earth’s mechanisms and machinery. We are
a great cog in her natural machinery. The important question to ask here is
what really ties us to the Earth? We may think that it is our need for food, we
may think that it is our need for water, that it is our need for shelter, but
really what ties us to the Earth, is this special esoteric organ known in
Gnosis and also to those who have studied Gurdjieff and the teachings of the
Fourth Way School, as the kundabuffer organ.
The kundabuffer organ was given to humanity in a very remote
past indeed. Among the reasons why it was given to us, is the reason to
fascinate and hypnotise us with life. I would actually say fascinate rather
than hypnotise. Hypnotise or hypnosis came later.
In conclusion, it is the kundabuffer organ that kept that
remote humanity tied or linked to the mechanics of the planet. It also made
them more willing participants in the mechanics and machinery of the planet.
Kundabuffer Organ
A brief analysis of the name kundabuffer is illustrative. Looking
carefully at the name shows us the word kundabuffer (introduced by Gurdjieff)
is a compound word containing the word ‘kunda’ and the word ‘buffer’. The ‘kunda’
relates to the particular name given to that organ, the ‘buffer’ word indicates
the essential property of the kundabuffer organ. It reveals that the
kundabuffer organ is there to stop us from receiving or perceiving something in
its fullest form. Basically, that something is the reality in its actual real
or crude form, it essentially buffers reality. It does not allow us to receive
the full impact of reality, instead it makes possible that we perceive reality
through our own lenses which are the egos and the concepts that we have.
Important Aspect of the Kundabuffer
One important aspect of the kundabuffer organ, actually it
is better if we stop here and say that, right now the current humanity does not
have the kundabuffer organ but has the consequences of that organ. In fact Master
Samael says that we don’t have it physically as we did in the very remote past
but what we do have is only a very small part of it that is located at the very
end of the coccyx bone.
Actually though our ego or “I’s” have a kundabuffer organ
that is part of their internal constitution. It is present in the egos in the form
of an energy that points downwards. The kundabuffer of the ego is channel that
sends our psychic energy down to the Earth whenever it is wasted egoically. So
for example, when we get angry we are use the energy related with the centres
of our human machine (intellect, emotion and motor), where that energy may go
into shouting, yelling and hitting things, though some of that energy also goes
to the Earth through the astral component of the kundabuffer organ that each
ego has. We don’t have the kundabuffer as whole because if we did we would be irreconcilable
demon. Mind you there are some of them in the world.
One of its key components is the relationship the
kundabuffer has with sex. Hard wired into the kundabuffer organ or one of its
properties is the reproduction of the race. There have been numerous wars in
human history with enormous casualties. Though the human race has bounced back with
great force, and this is due to a property within the kundabuffer organ.
Which rightly so, must be there to keep the mechanics of
nature going. If we die out so does creation or so does the Earth. We (humanity)
have to be kept alive for the Earth to function. So how alarming is that? The
kundabuffer is the one that has our sexual functions under control, actually
together with the Moon they both in fact exert an influence over our sexuality.
Kundabuffer and Hypnosis
The kundabuffer works by means of hypnosis. One of the most
powerful tools of hypnosis is fantasy and concepts.
In fact the hypnotic power of the ego is in its tail. Each
ego that has not been worked upon intensely has a tail and that tail is where
the maximum of its hypnotic power resides.
Hypnosis is to not see the truth. Each concept is not the
truth, and of course fantasy is the truth. The problem is that we are
hypnotised and we believe in those concepts and fantasies that are not true.
When we stop being hypnotised we awaken. We are in fact hypnotised because we
are asleep.
Kundabuffer and Sex
There is a link between sex and the brain always. The
kundabuffer is linked to the brain. To the sexual force. In fact what really
eliminates the kundabuffer is the kundalini which is risen by means of the
sexual transmutation (upward flow of sexual energy). Furthermore it was made by
and developed by fornication, by expelling the sexual energy. That is why there
is the tempting serpent of Eden, that actually tempted ancestral man into spilling
the semen during the sexual act. Which is a symbol of the kundabuffer, it even
physically looked like a downward flowing snake.
The tempting serpent of Eden is also the same tail of Satan which
is the kundabuffer organ developed to engulf the person as a whole where they
become a demon or a malignant entity.
The kundabuffer is highly related to the ego of lust. It is
linked to imagination and so is the sexual force. The sexual force is creation
and so is the kundabuffer, but in the negative sense. The kundabuffer Master
Samael says has the power to create concepts and new egos.
