Working with Self-Realised Beings

Introduction – We Need Help

We as essences need a lot of help. It is very true to say that we can not awaken and eliminate the ego all by ourselves. We need the help of our interior Divinity and the help of the Gods or in other words, those divinities that have awakened their consciousness and have eliminated the ego.

It is very important to recognise this fact, that is, the fact that we need help. This is the fundamental reason why we invoke the masters of the white lodge, because we need their help and we can not progress without their help. To recognise this is humility and because of a lack of humility we go far from the masters and alienate ourselves from their help and guidance and the danger is, that without their help we can easily fall into error.

True Humility

True humility is based upon true recognition, not assumptions nor self-defeating attitudes or ways of thinking. For example thinking, I am a poor person, a silly person, I always get it wrong, I can’t do it etc. When we recognise that truly we need help an aspect of the true humility arises in us. It is so important to have this humility in us and it is more important that we always have it present in our background and that we take it with us to daily life. We need help! This is a great truth!

Sound advice - Stay Close to the Masters

A sound bit of advice is to stay close to the masters. We never know how many times they have saved us from falling or getting into trouble. Though what we can do for our own benefit on the path is to stay close to the Masters.

Ask for their help often. Ask for their protection and their guidance. I repeat they are always watching us and often when the law permits it they have saved us from falling. Master Samael says that they the Masters of the white lodge always want to help us.

What is a Self-Realised Being?

Self-realised beings are the Divinities that have previously carried out the work on themselves and have become self-realised. They of course had to have completed their self-realisation using a human being, that is a physical vehicle. So at one point in time they had a physical body that had a human personality (body and energetic personality), that may well be registered in the books of history or may not be, but more importantly, that human personality (body and energetic personality) with essence worked for its interior divinity and this divinity achieved self-realisation.

Self-realisation is the degree of consciousness and integration to which the interior divinity is aware of its parts in creation and is integrated with these parts. The self-realisation starts when the human being has created the astral, mental and causal bodies and the human soul of the human being’s interior divinity is incarnated in the human being. The Interior divinity can then move and know the astral, mental and causal and through the human soul that is incarnated in the physical human being control his physical vehicle and fulfil a mission here in the physical world. That interior Divinity has gained control over himself through his human soul (essence gets converted into human soul) over a certain part of creation. That interior divinity then has to later perfect that self-realisation or mastery and expand it to know and gain dominion over the higher levels of creation. To know the higher levels of creation one has to delve first into the antithesis of these levels in the abyss and then rise up to those levels by correcting and clearing eh debts that are in the antithesis of these higher levels, this is how one gains access to these higher levels. SO as one ascends one also gets to know what is below. That way knowledge and dominion over the realms of nature and the corresponding realms in oneself is complete.

Best Divinities to Invoke

There are degrees of course, however the best beings or divinities to invoke are those whose self-realisation is complete, that those who have completed the great work.

We should at least work with those divinities that have gained their mastery that is their human soul has been incarnated in their physical vehicle or was incarnated in their vehicle. Even though every divinity is a master in their own right not all of them have gained the level of having created soul that is by having their human soul incarnated in their physical world.

In summary, the self-realised beings that we invoke in Gnosis are the Monads or the Divinities and the names that are used to invoke them are names of the Monads themselves. Just something on the side to complicate the issue a little more, the divinity being invoked may well use his/her human soul to tend to the invocation or another autonomous part that has it particular name, but integrating all the parts of this divinity into the Being that is formed has the name that we use in Gnosis, such as Adonai, Aroch, Anubis etc.

Working with Self-Realised Beings

When we work with them, just to take a short diversion here, by work we mean invoke and ask them for help, it is an incorrect term to use, because work with implies a joint venture that is something that we and the angel or master or divinity embark upon together or somewhat equals. In some way we are working on something together (so the tem working has some validity) but in a way that is not equal, we are the ones asking for help and the master or angel is the one that does most of the work. In conclusion it is better to say invoke and ask for help.

Here below is the General Procedure to work with Divinities.

General Procedure to Invoke a Divinity

Step 1.

Choose a position such as kneeling or siting on a chair.

Step 2.

Put your attention on your mind and emotions. Become aware of your mind and clear it by letting go of all extraneous thoughts. Spend some time doing this.

Step 3.

Focus on what you are going to ask for. Make sure what you want is very clear in your mind and heart. Make sure it is just, honest and ethical.

Step 4.

Concentrate on the Divinity, by introducing the name into your mind. Imagine the name in bold letters on the screen of the mind. Bring to your heart what you feel for that Divinity.

Step 5.

Concentrate on your heart. Feel your heart. Then concentrate on your inner Being. Invoke him using the mantra TUM. Chant it three times at least. Maybe even nine or more times.

Step 6.

Pray to your inner Being asking him to perform this invocation for you in the internal worlds.

Step 7.

Now begin your invocation (knowing that your interior Being is doing the same). You may use these words:
I call, I invoke the Venerable Master ###, in the name of the Christ, by the love of the Christ and the power of the Christ.

Venerable Master ###, Venerable Master ###, Venerable Master ###,
Come to me by the name of the Christ, by the love of the Christ and by the power of the Christ.

Step 8.

Use the mantra of invocation. There are basically two: ANTIA DAUNA SASTASA and HAGIOS. Use either one vocalising one of them three times. Then repeat step 7.

Step 9.

Repeat step 8 once more.

Step 10.

Make your petition asking for the help you require. Make sure what you ask for is just, correct and honest. Repeat your petition twice more, completing a total of three repetitions.

Step 11.

Close the petition by thanking the Venerable Master and vocalising the mantra AUM three times.

Example

Here below is an example.

Kneeling down and praying to one’s inner Being to invoke the Venerable Master Adonai.

“I call, I invoke the Venerable Master Adonai, I call you in the name of the Christ, by the love of the Christ and by the power of the Christ. I beg you to come to me.

Adonia, Adonia, Adonai.

Antia Dauna Sastasa, Antia Dauna Sastasa, Antia Dauna Sastasa.

I call, I invoke the Venerable Master Adonai, I beg you to come to me, I call you in the name of the Christ, by the love of the Christ and by the power of the Christ.

Adonia, Adonia, Adonai.

I beg you Venerable Master Adonai to go to a beloved brother of ours (mention the name) and heal his body, and alleviate his physical and emotional pain. May you assist him and take him to a full cure of the condition that is affecting him. I ask for this in the name of the Christ and for the sake of what is good and beneficial for that essence. I also ask that you may assist him in his interior work, I really yearn that that essence of our beloved brother advances in the path towards his Being and is protected and guided by you and the venerable masters of the white lodge.

So be it! So be it! So be it!

AUM, AUM, AUM.”

Conclusion

So in this post we have given you the basic practical fundamental to begin to work with and or enrich your invocations to the Venerable Masters of the White Lodge. In subsequent posts we will talk more about the science of invocation and more about the masters of the white lodge and their specialties.

The Ego is About Receiving

Our Problem is Receiving - Always Wanting to Receive

What the ego is centred around in so many cases is receiving. The ego is really about a one way street where we only receive. The ego itself is immensely happy to just receive and receive and receive without end. It is something else in us that wishes to give, it is the love of the essence and the essence perceiving that it is wrong to ignore the law of balance and not give anything in return.

Receiving Centre of Gravity

The ego unfortunately has a problem of only receiving, very much like the Moon. Well this isn’t the problem, the problem is the expectation of receiving love from somebody for example. When the expectation is not met there is some sort of wondering why not? And the thinking continues: “what I have done wrong?”, ”how can you be so rude?”, and “how can I fix this?”. The point here is that we suffer when we have expectations to receive and they are not met.

The best way to eliminate egos that are based on receiving are by learning to give. There are many ways of giving, there is the physical way of giving, the psychological way and the esoteric or spiritual way. When we give psychologically we give physically or spiritually. The psychological field in us is the bridge between the esoteric and the physical. It also originates the physical actions and the esoteric.

Examples

Lust is an ego that is based on receiving, self-love, self-importance and self-compassion are also based on receiving. Greed and ambition too are also based on receiving.

In fact the whole economy is based on it as well. To survive we have to receive much more than we give, otherwise there is no profit. Profit is another word for receiving more than giving.

Astute Ego – Adapts to Give But Only to Receive Later

Mind you there is a trick of the ego and it is to give, and her is the trick, it gives so to receive. If there is no possibility of receiving, the ego stops and suddenly feels that only giving is a tremendous burden that can’t be sustained for long. Consequently the ego loses interest moves on.

Counteracting

We basically have to repolarise the sleeping essence and change it from receiving mode to giving mode. When we give as long as we give in balance we will not suffer. This is a guarantee.

Origin of this Aspect

The ego is like this because it was made with a lunar organ, which we can say gave rise or the lunar nature of the ego and one key aspect of the moon is that it does not give energy, it rather receives energy from the sun.
It seems that Lust originated all the other defects, this has a very significant implication, because lust is about receiving, the other egos are also based on receiving.

Summary

The best thing is to give, just as the sun does, this is the true solar nature. But as we know from master Samael the sun is not autoegocratic it is rather trogoautoegocratic meaning that it gives and it receives. We need to emulate the sun, which is to give and only receive so as to be able to continue giving and give more. There is no suffering in this and there is forward movement.

The Being’s Strength Maintains His Essence

Tests of the Being

We have learnt from Master Samael that the Being from time to time tests His essence to know what He has in His essence. It is sort of a self-evaluation, it is the Being testing the weakest or furthest part of Himself. The weaker His essence the weaker He is. There is that saying that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

The Being wishes to know as Master Samael says: how strong His essence is to face the circumstances present in creation; how strong are the values of His essence, how strong is the nobility of His essence, how strong is the chastity of his essence, how strong is the humility of His essence, how penetrating, how expansive is His consciousness etc. etc.

Strength of the Being

We as people, that is a human body, with an essence inside it also test the Being, or rather make Him to exert His strength. The human being with the pluralised “I” is moved constantly in the direction of error and grave errors. The Being from the causal dimension of the person and using his causal power, which is the power over the circumstances of the person’s life He manages circumstances so that the person (His essence) does not make errors.

We Learn How Strong Our Being Is

At times when we are possessed by a very powerful ego we know and we have a tremendous desire to act wrongly and we don’t or we can’t we get to know or learn how strong the Being is. Really when the Being wants His realisation He is very strong and He exerts His strength over His essence. We are no more than His worker or His instrument. Just remember what happened to Master Samael when he was young about 16 years old after a night of drinking etc. He was reprimanded internally by His Being, where his Being wrapped him up in a white sheet and beat him with a heavy chain asking “are you going to work for me or not?”.

Conclusion

So, in conclusion with the ego we with the ego acting wrongly are a heavy burden for the Being and we make the Being to exert His strength. He especially exerts His strength to prevent us from making mistakes when He wants His realisation and those errors would harm His possibilities of doing so.

Creating Merits

We honestly need to create merits. Why, because nearly everything is a question of merits. We are helped because of our merits, we advance because we have the merits. We have what we have due to our merits. The more merits we have the more we are respected by the Divine Law, the Gods and human beings, and the more help, assistance, guidance, protection we attract.

What are Merits?

Merits are very simply put – values. Or to make a very simple analogy, merits are like coins, that instead of having a human monetary value, they have a universal cosmic value.

Just like coins that have a human monetary value, the more merits a person has the greater the person’s cosmic value and the more cosmic transactions can be made with those cosmic merits.

Another word for merits is cosmic capital. Our merits are stored in our dharma and are registered in the tribunal of cosmic law.

How to we Create them?

Merits are essentially won based on good actions, actions that were based on the nobility of the heart and the essence. These actions were generated by and carried out by the noble values of the heart. See below for an explanation of the noble values of the heart.

Basically we create them by working on two fronts. One front is by helping others in any way to make their life easier and happier and I want to stress that helping people spiritually is the way that pays the most. The other front is by working on oneself, by transmuting and by dying mystically.

Sacrifice is the Key!

The key here is sacrifice. When we sacrifice something of ourselves, whether it is our own time, our comforts, our energy, a desire, an ego, a fantasy, a pleasure for the spirit or for others we are creating merits.

Merits are of the Heart

By noble values we mean values that exist and seek expression by their own sake, not because of promise of a reward. For example, for love’s sake, because love is vibrating in the person’s heart and makes the person to act to benefit and help another.

How do we Lose them?

We lose them through our wrong actions, harming others and harming ourselves. By harming ourselves we mean strengthening the ego and going further away from the Being.

What are they Good for?

They are good for everything. They allow us to acquire all that we want, they protect us, they allow us peace, good health, good friendships, protection from suffering and paying our karma with pain and suffering and they also give us negotiating power to acquire spiritual faculties, knowledge, initiations and new stages on our spiritual path.

In Summary – Importance of Merits

We can not stress enough the importance of creating merits. If a person is without merits that person is in all the senses hanging by a thread. We have to use each day as way to create merits. Without merits we can easily get sick, we can even become gravely ill, we can be knocked over and put into hospital for weeks by a mosquito. Merits are the payment the Absolute gives to us when we serve Him, it is His way of paying us, so when we go to create merits we are serving him and so we are useful to Him and creation.

Hidden Meaning of the Ego

What is it?

Each ego or “I”, as Master Samael tells us, has a secret or hidden meaning, that is only revealed to the person in the final stages of the dissolution of an ego. Master Samael also says that a person may even dissolve an ego without knowing the hidden meaning, the danger in that is that because the person does not know the hidden meaning he or she may recreate the same ego in the future, perhaps in another life or Mahamanvantara.

Summary

In summary the hidden meaning of an ego is the deepest truth behind its creation or reason of existing. Each ego hides many truths but beyond that there is the hidden truth as to why it exists or is created in human beings, and that is the hidden meaning of the ego.

Ego, “I’s” and Defects – What’s the Difference?

Ego = “I”

An ego is the same as an “I”. In fact, “Ego” in Greek is “I”. So wherever you see or hear the word “ego” it is the same as “I”.

Many Egos = Many “I’s”

In Gnosis we know that the ego or the ‘I’ is pluralised, that is there are many egos or “I’s”, not just one. So we can say either that we have many egos and or many “I’s” in our psychology.

An ego or an “I” could be small or it could be large, usually in Gnosis the word or term used to describe the structure of all the egos or “I’s” put together is the term “the myself”. Master Samael uses this term quite frequently in his books “The Great Rebellion” and “Treatise of Revolutionary Psychology”.

The “I’s” or egos also fall into groups that is they belong to one or another defect.

A Defect and the Egos or “I’s”

Basically a defect is something much bigger than an “I” or an ego. A defect is a wrong functioning of the essence and it is made up of, or characterized by, or acquires its certain qualities, characteristics and peculiarities by the “I’s” that constitute it.

So for example, anger is a defect and it has many egos or “I’s” that make it up. What is interesting is that each “I” of anger will have the same logic as ,or the same principle as the defect of anger. The only difference is that it will be related to or confined to a certain aspect of life, for example getting annoyed when someone doesn’t speak loud enough or continuously drops something making noise.
