Fire – Esoteric Education 2 – (1650)

Water and Fire Water is the primal matter, from where creation emerged from, in the beginning it was absent of life and fire came to water to infuse it with life. Fire is the life and water is the matter. We need both fire and water to have creation. There is a great balance that must be struck between the two. These are the two principle elements in creation. They form a cross. Everything created is a product of water and fire, in the general sense these two elements when crossed together create. End (1650).

Fire – Esoteric Education 1 – (1649)

Introduction Esoteric Education I want to use this post to prepare for a talk I am going to give in a retreat coming up this Easter. The theme of the retreat is Esoteric Education. Reference Points and Balance I feel that with regards to esoteric education there are two important points. These two points being the use of the correct reference points and balance. With the correct esoteric reference points, we can orient ourselves correctly and make the right decisions in our path and esoteric work. Our life is the result of our decisions. By coming to balance we come to learn the complete lesson about the area of life and or esotericism that we are concerned with. Balance is the intelligent synthesis of both sides and the two sides are the completion of the subject, there is nothing more than two sides. Truth is Never Far from Nature – Fire and Water Master Samael said that truth is never far from nature. So I am going to take nature as a reference poin...

Reason why we are not Given what we Ask for – (1648)

We Lack Will A reason why we are not conceded what we are ask for, is because we lack will. When we have will it is surer that we are going to work with the help provided to get what it is, that we are asking for. When we don’t have will we are not going to work towards what we are asking for, so it is going to fail, and so for the masters to help us, it is a useless investment or a useless exercise for them. We would not help someone who does not really want to be helped would we? We may do something out of compassion to help them but we know it will be useless in the end, if they still don't want to be helped. Will is the power in us to make things happen, and so if we lack this power we are not going to make something happen. We have to have some will present in us before we ask for certain things. End (1648).

“We are Transformed by what We Accept” – (1647)

I heard this while listening to an audiobook, but I can’t quite remember who said it. The author of the book did mention who this quote comes from, but I don’t remember just now who it was. Never mind though, this is something amazing for me. Because we always fight to not accept things, all the time not realising that right there in front of us is a huge chance for transformation. What we can’t accept or don’t want to accept, is a huge chance to make us very different. And that is something very positive! We may not accept that a person treats us a certain way. But when we decide to try to accept it, we can start a process that can transform ourselves. When we accept something, a lot of stress and anxiety drops away from us and a transformation in us begins. It can’t otherwise begin. End (1647).

Fear Believes it is Clairvoyant and Anxiety Believes it is Telepathic – (1646)

Fear Within fear there is the hidden belief that we are or it is clairvoyant. It really believes that what it imagines for the future will come true. It also believes that what it sees right now is also true. But this is not true is it? Fear is definitely not clairvoyant and we are mostly not clairvoyant. To weaken fear we must shatter this belief and it is relatively easy to do. Anxiety We get anxious about what others are feeling towards us or what they are planning to do to us or with us and so anxiety believes that it knows what others are thinking and feeling just as if it were telepathic or had the ability to be telepathic. But once again this is not true is it? Anxiety is not telepathic, we may be a little but that is not the problem, the problems is how we interpret what we receive. It is easy once again to shatter this belief about anxiety being telepathic. End (1646).

Lust Beyond Seeking Pleasure – (1645)

Introduction We typically understand lust as the ego which is about seeking pleasure. This is superficial and is not profound enough and does not help one all that much when one really wants to understand the ego of lust with the purpose of eliminating it. Used to Always to Achieve Something Whenever a human being uses his or her sexuality, which includes their sexual energy, they always use it towards achieving something or creating something or towards some sort of result. Right? It is Causal – It’s Number is Five! It is always used this way, very very rarely is it ever used for no reason at all. It is an element linked entirely to cause and effect. This is because it works with causes and brings causes into effect and those effects create new causes. Sexual energy is intimately linked to will. Meaning lust traps will, and therefore it traps our causal power. Conclusion I think that if one uses ...

Chastity Brings all the Order that we Need – (1644)

Introduction Chastity brings all the order and respect into your life that is proper to you. The opposite brings the opposite: disorder, difficulty and disrespect. Chastity remember is transmutation or the wise use of the sexual energy for our genuine inner benefit. All Because This is because the sexual energy working in decent harmony within us sets the foundation down for the higher ethical principles to flow through us. Water and Roots of the Tree Each human being is a tree and sexuality is a great root system connected to a tree. It is our water and our roots. If our waters are calm and in harmony, that is they are being used in working for our higher good and for our inner benefit and for our inner Being what will be drawn up our roots are positive values and they will bear positive fruit or fruit conducive or aligned with the higher principles of our Being. If our waters are polluted because ...

Discover – Stop – KRIM – (1643)

Introduction This can be a good way to work on ourselves. Because sometimes so many different thoughts come out of us that we just get lost in them all and even though we want to work on them, we don’t end up working on any of them. Discover and Stop As soon as you observe a thought that warrants work, i.e. comprehension and dissolution stop there! Break from what you are doing and go deeper into the thought. What does it mean? What does it imply? Who generated that thought? What does it want? Why does it want that? What are my needs that make to think I need that? How did I get that lack? Where have I become unbalanced to have that lack? KRIM Once you have done some comprehension ask the Divine Mother to work on it dissolving the ego that was behind that thought and chant KRIM as long as necessary or until you feel that thought and the totally receded. End (1643).

Esoteric Education - (1642)

Introduction There is so much to the topic of esoteric education. One topic is the right choice of reference points and the other topic is balance. If we have the right reference points as a guide and we are balanced or at least know that we have to reach balance, and we know to reach balance, we are pretty well equipped for our life in esotericism. Reference Points To guide us esoterically we need reference points. The doctrine serves as a reference point. The work on ourselves serves as a reference point. Esoteric teachings serve as reference points and our own consciousness and nature serve as reference points. Even our own common sense is a reference point and our own feeling and instinctive centre is a reference point as well. It is also good to know what does not serve as a reference point, and these are personality, ego and mind. Even for me the book “Yes there is a Hell, Yes there is a Devil, Yes ther...

Open Mind to Forgive to Pardon to Open Heart - (1641)

Forgive for Yourself Straight to the point. It is hard to forgive and we may not want to, we may think that it is unfair to forgive or that it is even not right to forgive. But do it for yourself! For the peace, for the calm for the open mind and heart! Give yourself that gift! Open Mind The whole process starts with open our mind to the person or people that we want to forgive. This is the first step becasue our heart can not open until our mind is open first. The first step in this process is the most difficult because we must face our resistance.  This resistance is essentially intellectual in nature where we believe that it is wrong to even think about forgiving them. This resistance is fixated on the idea that what the other or others have done to us was wrong and was nothing but painful for us. These two beliefs have to be openly investigated for us to be able to open our mind. In fact, as soon as we consider investigating these two beliefs the ope...

We Care Most Our Psychological Life, Yes Even More than Our Physical Life – (1640)

Die for Values Human beings die or risk their physical life all to keep intact their psychological values. We do anything to preserve our psychological values, even if it means to put our health at risk. That shows us what is really important to human beings, is not eh physical body but the values that we have. We happily go to war and die in battle for what? For values! Values – Most Important! The most important things in human being is our set of values. Based upon these values we create our life. We don't risk our life to save a precious heirloom we risk our life out for our value of attachment to that heirloom. We don't care about that heirloom but about our value of attachment. What that heirloom means to us is what we risk our lives for. Our values are expressions of our sense of meaning. Conclusion What are our values? Whatever they are, whether we are aware of them or not they are running our...

Top Three Fears in America – (1639)

I was listening to an audio book while driving the other day as part of my research on anxiety and I learnt that the top three fears in America according to all the studies and surveys that have been done are: A Brazilian Walking Spider Number 1 : Fear of Public Speaking Number 2 : Fear of Death Number 3 : Fear of Spiders . This tells us that pride is a big source of fear right? End (1639).

When it comes to the Psyche there are no Accidents - Every Strange Flavour has a Reason – (1638)

Immutable Flow There are some flow or processes that are immutable in us. One such process of our centres is the following: Thinking->Feeling->Acting This is very good news, because it says that whatever we feel, no matter how obtuse and strange there is a thought behind it. This thought comes from a thinking process that is churning away in the conscious levels of our mind or in the subconscious levels of our mind. Emotion is the Result of the Intellect The process that is the strongest or the more intense is the one that prevails in our emotional centre. If the thought process is strongest in the subconscious then what we will feel in our emotional centre is the emotional result of the subconscious thought process. Many times we have a neutral or positive thought process active in the conscious levels of our mind but we feel terrible emotionally speaking. This is because there is a stronger and more powerful process working within the subconscious levels...

Q: Why Fire on a Altar? – (1637)

A: Living Spirit! Because fire brings spiritual life to the altar. If one observes an altar one will see that perhaps present on the altar are several objects that may seem to be lifeless (not really because every atom is a triad of matter, consciousness and energy and especially altar objects have a certain magnetic force that links them to spiritual forces), and one may feel that a certain something is missing, an element of aliveness. Fire burning from a candle or a oil burner etc. brings life and the spirit to the altar, because fire is movement, heat, life and it is the element most akin to the spirit of things. In short it brings the altar alive. It is quite a special element. The Chrsitic force is said to be symbolised by fire – the Christic fire. End (1637).

Q: What Agitates the Sexual Waters? – (1636)

A: Thoughts! By observing nature we can learn some valuable lessons. Only the wind can agitate the water in a lake, a river and a sea. The Earth (earth quake) too but that does not happen very often. Observed A River Have you ever sat by a river and seen how calm and still the water is, how flat and glassy the water is? Then a breeze moves in, coming out of nowhere, almost like a disturber of the peace. We see the surface of the water become rippled. As the breeze persists, small waves develop and as the breeze continues the river becomes choppy and agitated. It is not instant, it takes time but it happens. The breeze are our thoughts and the water is our sexual energy. If we watch our thoughts and stop them on time we can keep our sexual waters calm and so we can work with our sexual energy much easier. Transmuting our sexual energy is much easier and more effective when our waters are quiet. End (1636). ...
