Sporadic Posts Stretch - Retreat Stars and Banners - (3012)

Just to let you know, over the next three weeks starting from today, the posts will be very sporadic and if there are any they will most likely be hasty in quality. I'll be hopping over the Pacific in a flying kangaroo to take part in some retreats. When the flying kangaroo hops us back over the Pacific and then over the nullarbor plain I'll get back into regular posting, hopefully with some interesting bights to share with you from the retreats.  End (3012).

A Retreat is a Spiritual Practice - (3011)

A relationship is really a spiritual practice. Any Gnostic worth his or her salt can see that.  The ideal is to relate essence to essence, transcending with the work, the personality and ego combinations in a  relationship.  When the relationship is essence to essence then we have the magic and marvellous case of two Monads relating. A retreat is also a spiritual practice. Obviously as you can see from the previous post a retreat experience contains many egoical states that can be, through the work, cleaned and worked to be fresh and clear. End (3011).

An Experience of a Retreat - (3010)

The experience of a retreat begins a few days before the actual start date, with a bit of a pinch. One begins to think: "I'll be travelling and I'll be at the retreat so my daily routine will be disrupted and I won't be able to do this and that...". Then naturally one begins to feel the effort involved in travelling and with a bit of freshly injected will and a refreshed positive attitude one feels happy to be going and the numerous benefits put a smile on one's face, just like the day we signed up to go. The trip to the retreat venue is something novel and adventure like which is exciting. The travel to the destination has its exciting parts, its uncomfortable parts as well as its relaxing parts. It is not all excitement or discomfort but a series of states experienced in appropriately ordered stages. The time comes that one then arrives at the retreat venue and a new flavour or atmosphere takes over. A little bit of uneasiness creeps in mixed with look...

Have You Constructed Your Heart Temple in Your Conscious Imagination Yet? - (3009)

The Real Picture There are several inner temples and it can all get a bit confusing. There is the heart temple - a real inner temple residing in our heart centre. Where the atom Nous of the Being resides. There is the temple in which the Being of a person receives when the person completes the first initiation. In this temple the Inner Being officiates. This temple, as I understand it is located outside of eh person in the internal worlds such as the astral world. Then there is the generic inner temple, which is more of symbol than anything else, depicting the status of a Beings work of self-realisation. Inner Temple as Symbol of a Being's Work As we work, we either construct our inner temple or we restore our inner temple (fallen bodhisattva). When a person falls and remains fallen over several lifetimes, due to neglect, the person's inner temple goes to ruin. The work that we do and the Inner Being does on the esoteric path constructs or resto...

Energy Accumulates According to the Activity - (3008)

Energy Accumulates that is What It Does  When we use energy it gets stored in our system. A person who makes an effort to use their consciousness, will by virtue of these efforts will end up accumulating energy in their consciousness. If a person sits all day and night that physical activity causes energy to get stored in their physicality which makes to sit more and more. That they get heavier and heavier putting on weight. If a person exercises physically they accumulate energy in their muscles and other systems of the body that allow them to exercise in time for longer and for more intensity. Important Point So then we all have energy, and the important point is that it accumulates in us depending on the activities we undertake. So then here is the key how the masters have so much energy in their consciousness and how they have all these powers. Because they accumulate vast quantities of energy in their psychological and esoteric systems and constitu...

The Value as Remedy to an "I" - (3007)

The value hidden in the entrails of any given "I" is the magic potion that remedies the ills of that very same "I". So know the value and you have your magic potion. With fear, I don't think I will ever get tired of saying that it is TRUST. During the Melbourne retreat a missionary gave a talk and he recounted an experience that a truly wonderful master from Venezuela who has now sadly already disincarnated, told. The experience went that in the astral this master faced a vicious dog, which was it turns out one of his own "I's" of lust. He fought the dog, however it only grew in size and fury. He then suddenly remembered the values inside of lust, such as: transmutation, love, wholeness, connection the Being etc. and he then began to chant HAM-SAH transmuting his sexual energy while remembering his inner Being. The dog then began to diminish in size and fury until it disappeared. So then, I think that the best thing that we...

Develop Your Imagination - (3006)

Necessary We can benefit so much from having a well developed imagination. It helps us with our mystical practices and psychological practices. You don't know how much until you really develop your imagination more. Mystical Work You know the reason why so many of our mystical practices fizzle is because we lack concentration and imagination. Imagination like concentration is an ability that we accumulate. Our physical vision is really pale compared to the richness and clarity that we can develop our imagination to. In other words our imagination can be realer to us than what we see with our own eyes. This is a rather large mug just in case you were wondering. Photo taken at the Country Place, Dandenongs, Vic. (Easter Retreat venue display cabinets). Psychological Work With imagination we can construct the scene of any egoic manifestation and delve deep into the egoic state that we had, and extract some of the information about the ego under study ...

Work Gets Easier - (3002)

The work is really hard in the beginning. It is overwhelming and one so easily gets lost in all that has to yet to be done. The path orders all of this work for the person. However, with time and work as one begins to work down in size one's "I's", and the essence grows a little, one sees that the work gets easier. This is because there is more free essence to understand the other "I's" and each "I" is connected to other "I's" and by working on "I" we also work on all the other "I's". That is why working on the P.P.P is so critical. End (3002).

Vision of God - (3001)

Do you know the vision of God that you have? Your own vision of God is actually something important you know.  You really must know it, and know it in depth... Real Value It actually has a real value. To repeat, the vision of God that you carry inside of you has a real value. Why you may ask. It is because this value creates a perspective (certain outlook) within you. This perspective then has a large influence in the way you take and respond to the events of life. Your own vision of God sits as a backdrop in your psyche, forming a support upon which many psychological processes unfold. Your vision of God influences your thoughts, your emotions and your actions. Many Visions of God There are really many visions of God. Actually there are as many different visions of God as there are people. There are vast and infinite visions, there are narrower and more human visions, there are low visions and there visions of nothing. There are vision...

AIN - Legimate Nothing - (3005)

Ain in Hebrew means - nothing. That to me makes a lot of sense. Why? Because before there is anything or before there is creation of any kind there is nothing. Nothing has to be the true and legitimate origin of creation. The true source of everything is nothing - the no-thing. The non-entity. The 'nothing' is really that which will not ever change and will always be. End (3005).

Trust has to do with Clairvoyance - (3004)

When a person truly trusts, a kind of clairvoyance accompanies the person. This makes sense because with a true state of trust one knows and can see in a wide an open way that will unfold will be ok. Fear the very opposite of trust, is a state that lacks this open and wide vision. There is vision but it is very narrow and distorted to the point of being false. This vision is not clairvoyance it is rather fantasy. There straight away we have a key to work on fantasy. The vision of fantasy is so very very narrow. If we blow up that narrow vision of fear, the same fear retreats a surprising amount. End (3004).

Menorah - Tree of Life and Added Insight - (3003)

History Within the tradition of Kabbalah it is said that the first form of the "Tree of Life"was the Menorah or the candelabra of seven candles. It is said that it was Moses who first brought the tree of life to the people in the form of the Menorah. It is said that Moses chose the format of the Menorah because the people were largely illiterate.    If we superimpose the menorah over a tree of life diagram you'll be able to see how the main features of the menorah match up with the various Sephiroth of the tree of life.  The base of the menorah represents Malcuth and the very middle candle holder represents Kether. The three candle holders to the right represent the Sephiroth on the right hand side of the Tree of Life, namely: Chockmah, Chesed and Netzah. The candle holders on the left represent the Sephiroth of the left hand side of the Tree of Life, namely: Binah, Geburah and Hod. The Sephiroth on the middle line of the Tree of Life are represented by th...

Death in the Details - (3000)

There are many details of the egos in which a person can die in. One such small detail which quite often turns into big trouble for us: is reading into things. There comes a time when it is part of the death of an ego to really die in that detail of “reading into things”. That's right knowing that they are there and dying to them. To read into things means that we allow the mind to bring up the past and draw similarities and make assumptions and suppositions about how a person is feeling or why. To die in that detail means to stop the mind quickly and definitely and ask the Divine Mother for her help to dissolve that “I” straight away. End (3000).

Important Important Anger Anger - (2995)

The sense of importance leads to anger, mostly when some kind of an obstacle is present. Before anger appears, the sense of importance comes from pride. If you are doing something important, watch out for anger, because if an obstacle appears, anger could also appear. Constantly question that sense of 'importance'. Sometimes we get it really wrong. What seems important is not and what we don't take as important is really important. It is a wise measure to renounce the sense of importance while we are doing things. Like getting to the airport for example. Just concentrate on getting there not worrying about how important it is. We can always say to ourselves if we miss the flight ok, there is a solution, we'll catch the next flight - it is not that important that we lose some control and get all flustered and scold others when there is a solution. Renouncing that sense of importance really reduces stress. End (2995).
