Reflections on Common Entitlement - (5975)

There is this psychological quality called entitlement.  Usually when this word is mentioned, there is a negative connotation. It is often associated with some kind of arrogance, because it is really a word to describe a feeling. In general, entitlement is the feeling of having a right to something. Where this 'something' was agreed upon previously or is a tradition, a society norm, a law or just plain common sense. For example, you paid for something fair and square, you are entitled to have it. There seem to be four cases that can be observed in relation to entitlement. There is the simple case where there is the right to something and it is granted. There is justice and peace because merit and right come together. This naturally inspires respect. There can also be the case of entitlement where there is clear right but merit is lacking. Then there is the case where there is some right but little merit. Then there is the case where there is neither right or merit.  When we ob...

Comprehension the Payment for Judgment - (5977)

What usually happens is that when we fail to comprehend in the moment and instead judge critically, we later on end up in the same situation. We end up in the same situation as those we judge, so as to comprehend . The reason why we end up in the same situation and acting the same as those we judge, is because we failed to apply comprehension, and the best way comprehend is to be in the same situation. The payment or escape from judging is to comprehend. Apply comprehension and we will not fall into the into the same situation as those we judge. This is because with comprehension we learn and we fix the lesson into our consciousness which naturally allows us to avoid falling into the same situation. When we fall into the same situation the heat we feel is the feeling being a hypocrite. Which can be embarrassing. It invertedly gives people the evidence to call us exactly that - a hypocrite - especially those we previously judged. When we judge and realise it, this is one of the best opp...

With Inner Silence Problems Disappear - (5974)

In the inner silence - the more profound the better, is where one can heal, rejuvenate, strengthen and balance In the inner silence problems melt away because one is closer to the master within. People said that they would be full of problems and when they were before Master Samael ready to explain all their problems - their troubles melted away. Inner silence allows us to digest the impressions and transform them. Inner silence relaxed and conscious allows the consciousness to be present and when it is present it naturally transforms and orders what we have been going through. We just need to give it a chance to do so and it naturally does all by itself or with some gentle prompting (like AI but better). Many times before a retreat we are full of complaints and after the practices, especially meditation those complaints go by themselves.  Seeking inner silence or rather allowing to arrive brings what we all need and want. Which is balancing, organizing, healing, insight and illumi...

Self-Suggestion for Dreams - (5973)

If we can say to ourselves: "I'm going to wake up at 5am so that I can start the day early" and we actually do wake up at 5am on the dot or some minutes before, we can just as well say to ourselves: "I'm going to dream about the planet Mars!" or "I'm going to wake up in my dreams!" and we will! It's the same thing really. We have to state our night's purpose such as "I'm going to dream about Mars" with as much will, determination and need as when we say to ourselves that we are going to wake up early. Then lo and behold we will dream about Mars. This actually does work. End (5973).

Relaxation is to Supply Energy - That is the Key - (5972)

The key to understand relaxation is to see that relaxation is about supplying energy to something. It is counter to our common understanding which is to think that to be relaxed means to be devoid of energy. To be devoid of energy is to be depleted, not relaxed. When our body is depleted we are either aching all over and very agitated or totally limp. Neither of these two are to be relaxed. When our mind is devoid of energy it is so agitated that it or we just can't stop thinking. Further to this discussion there is relaxation on several different levels. There is relaxation of the body, of the mind, of the psyche, of the soul and of the spirit. For each of these parts to be relaxed certain food or energy must be given to each part. That is a different energy for each part and an energy that is in sync with the nature of the part. To relax the spirit we must give fulfillment of deep purpose. Spiritual work producing transformation. For the psyche ethical and correct conduct in the ...

In Chaos the Essential - (5971)

We in our life are faced with so many options and after a while we get confused as which is the best one to focus on. Because of time limitations we after all want to focus on the thing that will bring the most benefit for our effort and time. Which practice do we do most and focus on? The Gnostic answer is on transforming ourselves and clearing our karma. However we need to still find our answer which will in our way somehow coincide with that or not. We just have to first look. The key is in the dilemma or conundrum. The key word is focus. If we start by focusing on focus, things will become clear because that is how we got confused in the first place by having lost focus. Once we can focus we can focus on the essential part of ourselves and life.  The essential could be to find connection to our essence and flow of life so that we share some connection to above in us and some connection to the future in this life and beyond it. End (5971).

Applications of Relaxation Notes - (5970)

Introduction As simple and as great the tendency is to zoom past the stage of relaxation, it is very very beneficial to spend at least a week or more seeing everything through the eyes of relaxation. If we are to do this experiment, we will see how so much of our spiritual practice is enhanced by taking relaxing into account. Here are some applications that if we relax well, we can truly give ourselves a very good chance at successfully completing the practice or responding well to the situation. 1.) Listening 2.) Entering a sacred space or place 3.) Talking 4.) Understanding anything 5.) Reading 6.) Dangerous situations 7.) Stressful or hectic situations 8.) Dealing pain and suffering Some Notes Mastering relaxing our physical body will teach us next how to relax our psyche, which is most important of all. To relax the spirit is different. It is relaxed with fulfillment and by right thinking, right feeling and right action. If we are not relaxed something is wrong somewhere within us....

Special Revelation when Close to Dissolving an "I" - (5968)

When we are close to unravelling an "I" there will come a special experience that will reveal a memory or a knowing from where that defect was created and or strengthened.  We will have this experience either physically while reading, talking or visiting someone, some place or either in a dream or while doing an esoteric practice. This experience will reveal the causes behind that ego by showing the circumstances of the past in which it was created.  There will be direct correspondence in the feeling of the ego now in the present day and the circumstances that were the causes of its origin. If there are no correspondences in feeling the experience is simply off. This an important experience that gives us a big relief and marks a definite step towards that "I" being dissolved. The strange thing to understand is that the same circumstances that created that ego may be present in a similar way today or they may not. If they are it make sense as there is a trigger but i...

Psychological Isolation Needed to Express a Soul Quality - (5969)

To express a quality of our soul whatever it is we slowly find out after falling short many times that the better our degree of separation or psychological isolation the better we can express it. The separation or psychological isolation cuts the link of impressions from the other person and the subjective justice call from our own psyche. Our main inner block to expressing a value is the call from our mind: "that it is not fair that we give a beautiful soul value to someone who does not reciprocate". To express a soul quality we must be independent of impressions from others as well as the unfair complaint from inside. The way to find that separation is to see that we are always compensated by our Inner Being for expressing our soul qualities and non-identification with the person - "I am a soul" "I am a soul" "I am a soul" "that is them - I am here a soul". End (5969).

Tendency to Jump or Throw When Up High - (5967)

Often when we go to a building roof top or a high cliff or are walking on a jetty going out to sea there is that strange suggestion that arises in the mind to jump accompanied by strange anxious feelings of falling or sinking into the water. These thoughts and feelings as strange as they are, are semi-conscious instinctive memories and are due to us at some point in our past lives having thrown ourselves or have been pushed or having pushed others. They are semi-conscious in the sense that we feel them instinctively but we don't remember from where they come from. That debt though cancelled physically lives on inside our psyche.  These feelings tell us that there is more work to do to investigate within and comprehend and dissolve what we have found. When we go to these high places or jetties it is like we relive the drama or tragedy in our mind. End (5967).

Monkey and the Donkey - Mind - (5966 )

A monkey and a donkey seem to be the universal symbols of the mind.  Both words have a 'key' in them and they differ by the first letter. Coincidentally the 'm' and the 'd' are the first and last letters of the word 'mind'. The monkey mind is the one jumps all over the place and the donkey mind is the one that is so stubborn that does not want to give up thinking. These two animal symbols give the key to the mind. The mind in its untrained nature is stubbornly distracted. Perhaps with these two symbols we can get a glimpse into the significance of 'm' and 'd' as letters. It seems 'm' covers breadth and is affirmative while 'd' is narrow and negating. End (5966).

Negation for the Affirmation - Not Only Negation - (5962)

We find that we truly need to die (negate the conditioned essence), yet dying and not going forward with the fruits of death (affirming the free essence), which are the qualities, abilities and powers of our soul, is unbalanced.  We need to work in negation towards affirmation. Working with negation gives us the ability to affirm. Affirming without prior negation causes us to trip over and negating only makes us turn bitter and eventually stand still. On the path and everywhere we walk on two legs, and these two legs are negating and affirming. If we get stuck on one leg only, we'll topple over because we become unbalanced. End (5962).

What Does the Seven Rounds and Seven Races Wake Us Up to? - (5965)

This topic helps us to break at least the following conceptions: 1.) The idea that we are the first wave of humans on this earth. 2.) That we are the only ones in the cosmos. 3.) That our external development, science and technology is at the highest level the earth has ever seen in time. 4.) That we are at the start of a continuous line of evolutionary development. 5.) That our average lifespan is the longest so far and will end up being the longest. 6.) That our inner development, consciousness and knowledge of ourselves and the cosmos is the most developed so far in time. The seven rounds and seven races talk replaces the broken concepts with the following teachings: What is important is not to believe in the details of each of the races but to loosen and consciously open  the way we think about the Earth and humanity. This opening will allow and support new understandings of ourself, humanity and give us a reference to place our own memories and inner knowing that will along th...
