This one is for Mr. W.G. Combinations If I am not mistaken there is actually a Law to do with combinations. Creation in nature is the result of the combinations of many different elements.  Master Samael says that: "Mechanical evolution is processed according to the Laws of Cause and Effect, the Laws of Associations and Multiple Combination" . There is a small branch of mathematics all to do with combinations and probability. Basically in the Law of combinations different elements combine together to produce a result or outcome that is different to the two or more elements that were combined.  Many time the order in which the different individual elements are combined influences the result or outcome. Certain endevours that we undertake in our work really depend totally on certain values within us not faltering, actually, they are values of our Being that can  not fail . We can not make those values to fail! We have to hold onto that as if it were the last thing we have! The payment of a certain karma depends entirely on key values not failing ! There are many examples of this. Master Samael said in Mexico that if he were to lose even a drop of sexual energy the whole Gnostic movement back then would fail. In a guru and disciple relationship, rebellious and obstinate pride for example can not be made to go out of control. Humility, balance, respect etc. must be active vibrating above all other factors in the disciple.  In a Alchemical marriage, transmutation, supra-sexuality must take wings and be above all other forms of sexuality.  In the third factor, disinterested love and sacrifice must be more present than any other elements and so on... We may see in our oneiric experiences the sexual energy as golden or silver coins or as precious jewels. This indicates to us its high value, its merit, its potential... How the sexual energy is felt inside of us is more important. That is our reality in relation to it. The sexual energy we accumulate is not like a pile of gold coins. Where we may say that losing a bit, say just like a few coins off the top of the pile makes no real difference because there is still a whole heap of coins left. That is the materialistic and common way of thinking. Introduction There are particles of pain of the Father in our essence. These particles are there for a reason, that reason being to push us towards the Father we have in secret within us. These particles have their role in us. They make us restless. They make us to look up to find a solution. Karma is always some kind of obstacle, some kind of delay, some kind of standstill, some kind of block, some kind of pain, some kind of wanting to move forward but yet one can't... Even it is something that whatever one tries it just gets difficult and does not work out. It is very important to know that this is karma.  What is even more valuable is to accept that it is karma. That is due to some kind of debt, something that in the past we didn't do all that well, and we ended up breaking harmony and balance.  To accept that it is karma gives us a great relief and allows light to enter into our psyche and with light some emotional clam. When we accept this, the next clear step is to want to pay the debt. A part of wanting to pay the debt is to know what the karma is for and what we did to create it. That's it be the consciousness that looks out at the universe. When we look out we don't see our eyes nor our head. We are like headless, we just have a ball of light on our shoulders - our consciousness.  In our thoughts we are an object, we stop being the subject (the one that looks) and we become an object (one being looked at). If we are the headless one we help ourselves to squash vanity.  We think about ourselves in the third person as if we are an object. For example if our name is David we pretend to go into the minds of other people and we think thoughts about ourselves like “David did that well, David messed that up.” Trying to mimic what others will be thinking about us.  What happens is that we leave our seat as the headless one, as the headless one we remember ourselves and we are more our consciousness. When we try to greatly reduce fantasy, we get overwhelmed how much of it there is in our day. Fantasy is really a 'hard nut to crack'. Not just big obvious silly fantasy fantasy, but all other kinds of thoughts that are really fantasy as well. Fantasy draws energy from our sexual centre.  If our sexual energy is drawn we have less feelings of well-being, less creativity, less will, less intellectual inspiration and so on...  More importantly for the person working to weaken fantasy - having less sexual energy means less energy to decide and stand up against fantasy. Fantasy totally ruins our effort to be aware or be more awake! Even just the simple thoughts that are not aligned or connected to the current reality ruin our effort to be more awake. Concentration on the present moment and reality is the major antidote to fantasy.  There are particular repeating fantasies. Sorry a bit of a boring post. Just me jotting down some notes for a class I am giving tonight. States of Consciousness There are really many states of consciousness. Each minute puts us in a different state. We see life through a state of consciousness. Our state of consciousness creates our internal states. The best thing in practical life is the right internal state. With the right internal state we can give the best answers to the events of life.  Level of Being and state of consciousness are directly related. There are contracted states of consciousness and expanded states. What is the most important thing is the state of consciousness.  Each state of consciousness carries more understanding or less understanding about ourselves and life. Consciousness is above and beyond our mind and our affections. Consciousness acts. It does not store information nor does it reason like the mind does. It knows directly. Recall that which you really want, what you are missing from life and note it down very clearly. These things are most likely very spiritual qualities that feel to you deeply fulfilling. If we get something external, deep down in reality we are not really wanting that external thing we are wanting the deeper emotions that come from it. Like fulfillment, happiness, peace, purpose, dignity etc. Well, the news is that those qualities or things we unfortunately have to find within our own Being.  Even our own Being, our Father or Mother already has those qualities and they are waiting that we search for them inside of ourselves and begin to cultivate them and incarnate them. Unfortunately it is truer that it is us that has to give those qualities to ourselves, by developing them. Master Samael says that the chicken's egg has special properties related to the powers of Jinas. He says the egg reminds us of the Orphic Egg or the cosmic egg from which creation gestated in and sprang forth from. Wonderful - so how do you make sense of that? Well, marvelous things take place inside an egg. From the fecundated yellow yoke and the transparent white albumen processes of forming and congealing and drawing in from space-energy take place. Introduction If we want to work on ourselves, this can be a very good area to work on.  The impact of hearing a  person's past depends on the person and on what their past had to do with.  If the area of the past is important to us or we consider it important we will feel an impact. Usually, we had other ideas about the person's past, and this clash contributes to the impact. Usually we have negative ideas about a person with a past like we just heard about. Usually that person will be in our field of life. If they are not we are not likely to be too phased.   Things that Help Transform The following things are something that can help us to transform these impressions. Why we feel bothered is because we project that they will be like that again or they are like that now. Which is most likely not true. The work with the mind can be really difficult at times. Thought after thought. Our consciousness gets tired and we just seem to only be able to notice the thoughts then let go.  We don;t really notice how active the mind can be until we really try work with silence. When our alertness seems to be failing we need to do something. A energetic reboot is one good way to get our consciousness to be back on top.  Some very deep breathing, mantras chanted energetically, runes done intensely, some physical activity etc. all help to do that. With that new energy we can resume our observation of the mind and focusing our consciousness. End (3653).

We have many compensation mechanisms in our psyche. Most of them work subconsciously.  All of them that are subconscious attempt to make up for some lack or psychological discomfort or suffering. These subconscious compensations do not actually address the root cause of the lack or discomfort. They provide some relief, some forgetting but afterwards they take one back to beginning again, with the same void or suffering unaddressed. The wise truth seeker would look deeper inside to delve into the actual suffering and find the real cause of discomfort. When we break into that suffering we see that no one can really fully help us. Others can certainly help. But the solution is ours to forge. It is mostly a certain relationship with ourselves is not quite right, and it needs fixing. People drink to not feel suffering, to feel happy showing by duality they need to face the suffering, accept it, feel it, absorb it and transform it into feeling ok.   I can't face myself, I can't...

Simple Goal Many Gnostic people in the morning set for themselves a goal. One simple goal. To live their day being more awake. A little more awake than yesterday.  Keeping this goal builds and accumulates over time, producing as only we can imagine - good things right. To be awake during our day means noticing many thoughts and many egos. Noticing them, we can take some time to die in them. In this post I am going to pass on a key from m.m.m. that has been very useful. I am not sure why this is, for every one of us there are keys which work so much more effectively than others. What works to perfection in one person is 5% effective in another. Why that difference? Too complicated a mystery to contemplate perhaps... Helpful Key In each event, concentrate! As you concentrate on the event naturally you will begin to notice the various fantasies that you have about yourself and the event. Notice the fantasies and dispel them, or KRIM them or ask the Divine Mother to dissolve them. Just...

"In the absence of light, darkness prevails." When we forget about our light, our consciousness, we end up lost in a lot of thoughts and emotions. That just seem to take us around the bend or in circles - no where. Bringing our light clarifies and orders. We look to thinking to make us feel better but it doesn't really. The refuge is our light.  If we just bring our light for five minutes, we can notice a big difference. Just fixing our attention on our breath making the effort not to think anything is really helpful. Our light helps to order our psyche and dispels most extraneous thoughts by seeing through them. We often to look to our mind for help or answers or order. But it just as often falls short. The one that helps and answers in us is our consciousness.  No-thinking is a very helpful means to bring our light, so are the many other methods, mantra, breath awareness, body sensation awareness, remembering the being, concentration etc. End (3650).

When in a state of inner turmoil, certain emotions come to us. Some of these emotions come to us from others, from music, from movies, from memories, from our thoughts and fantasies... But all these emotions don't really help us. They are usually a bit off track, missing the point and that does not help us. Emotions are not really good advice givers. They change so often and the one that was advising us before goes and comes and others come and go. What really helps is the clarity of the consciousness. A quiet mind. That is what we have to work on.  Even a sound practical plan from a clear mind is more helpful than emotions.   The control of emotions in such a state is very beneficial. End (3648).

When we really need an answer to something, and to our consciousness an answer does not appear, and to our petitions made during the day and at night nothing appears, we have to resort to an all nighter of concentration begging and begging for the answer we are needing. We shouldn't really be afraid of that even doing several of them.  In the end we have to do it, we have to resort to it, because not having an answer is really eating away at us, even burning us. There is nothing else that we really can do. The effort and sacrifice of doing this moves our inner scales to help us get an answer. End (3647).

Pain and pleasure are intimately related. If there is one the other is close. One is the cause of the other and one takes one to the other. A person delves into pleasure beyond a healthy limit when there is something wrong, something is not quite right, or because something has failed (will, reason, common sense), or because the consciousness is absent, or because there is some pain somewhere or because they just want to...  Well what do you reckon about that, they want to dive into pleasure knowing that empty pain will result and that when feeling the pain they will regret it. Still something is not quite right there. There is something not made fully conscious yet. There are still some contradictions there. Basically it says I just want pleasure and the pain. Who knowingly wants pain - only a sleeping person does. Anyway that is a contradictory state. I love and hate you. I like and dislike you. I kiss you and punch you. In that state we are neither here nor there. No one wants a...

We say that, or people say that, but they don't want to be themselves. They want to be the person with that house, with that car, with that job, with those children, with that happy marriage, with that wife, with that husband, with that lifestyle etc. Or the Gnostic person wants to be the person who has the Kundalini, who has finished the Great Work, who can unfold consciously into the astral, who can meditate profoundly, who has dissolved a lot of ego... So often we don't really want to be 'me'! But we say that we do. Contradiction. When we decide to look at: "being me" we discover we don't really want to be that either, because it is difficult to find a real 'me'. We find that whole collection of junk inferior interior states, concepts and senses of self and more and more stuff. We deeply feel that we want to be something different. What do we have left to do or to be. Only to empty ourselves and to make way for It. Allow that stream of presence ...

So who was born when we were born? Our body, but not really. It was more the life in our body that was born. That incarnated once again.  Some babies these days are born 'still'. and no one considers them to be born. Because a new life was not started.  And so then, who are you? If clearly we are not the body we are then that new life of the baby aren't we? So you are life, consciousness, energy! End (3649).

From an esoteric perspective sex is seen to be more a function.  What is important to the esoteric perspective is the energy and the elevation of that energy into higher levels of Being.  Sex is used to produce a shock that helps elevate that energy to a higher level.  Most of the work of maintaining that new elevation, and preparing for a new shock of elevation is done within the person themselves, in their psychological work along side their devotion. From the current society perspective, sex is seen as more than a function. It is almost offensive to people with the common view of society, to consider sex as a function. Sex is 'the spice of life' they say not a function. The sphere of sex can increase and even can become a way of life, an identity, a defining characteristic, in fact many lifestyles are built around it. Kneeling down and praying to our Being in a manner of openness and transparency of heart helps us a lot in dispelling some strange attitudes that we can develop towards our inner Being.  Before we kneel down open up and pray with transparency of heart we can have some flavours going on in our mind and emotions. What are those flavours? Perhaps: complaint, bitterness, frustration, distrust, doubt, incapacity of understanding, too hard, etc. It is good to notice them and mostly praying to the Being with love dispels them. after praying it is good I think to evaluate if those strange flavours have gone. If not we have to get to work. Regular non-mechanical, (praying with essence) prayer keeps the relationship with our Being going well. Prayer is also action. Action is a living prayer.   End (3644).

The esoteric view of anything is the one that transcends relativity and duality. That is its identifying characteristic.  To be anchored in the esoteric view of anything changes our perceptions and changes our whole life related to that which we are viewing. The esoteric view is that which is reduced to the core, to the essential, to the real, to what really exists and is not of a mental creation. The esoteric view of sex for example transcends relativity in the sense that it sees sex above the human.  We are human and if we only see the human side of sex we are only ever seeing sex relative to us. Further more we can see sex relative to emotions, imitation, popular views, past experiences etc. End (3642).

If time after time we have begged our interior Divinity for an answer and we have not received anything. Then we have to turn to the Guru and ask. The Guru is one that can contact our interior Divinity and knows already our destiny and can answer us. The guru has the quality of answering directly, clearly and quickly, sometimes immediately. Well sometimes the Divinity gives a person intuition to find out the answer for themselves. End (3641).

From the esoteric point of view, as is found in many esoteric books, where there is the loss of sexual energy, such a use is classed as something that draws away from the intelligent common sense use - which is the esoteric use of the sexual energy. When the sexual energy is lost, a certain harm is done to the nervous system. The violent discharge of energy jars and shocks the nervous system. As well as jarring the brain.  The relaxed inward and upward flow of the energy energises, heals and balances the nervous system as well as the brain. The natural flow of the energy is for it to be returned to the Divinity from where it came. Instead it is sent illogically sent into space with no function or use. Usually always the act of self-stimulation of the generative organs is done with fantasy. Reason of Post I think that it is very beneficial to the human being to expand its awareness to explore the higher dimensions of what is called sex.  It is always the  higher  that orders, harmonises and remedies. While the  lower  brings disorder and difficulties. To see the higher aspect of something creates an entry point in us, allowing it to access us, and allowing us to reflect on it. If we can not see it or allow it into ourselves we can not reflect on it. Our life is really lived as now, right now. And right now is always the entrance or meeting point with the vertical line of our life. So every moment allows us to meet our level of Being or position on the vertical line of life.  But people are not in the moment though. So not being in the moment does not allow people to embrace and develop their vertical line of life. The consciousness is the one which can meet and enter into the 'now'. The mind goes forward or back in time but is not in the now. On the vertical we have our level of Being and from our of level of Being we see life. We have basically two minds. This we are not really aware of. It is really worth being aware of this. Becasue as soon as we are we have a way to resolve conflicts and a way to be free opens up. Master Samael says that really life is about a battle between these two minds. These two minds are the sensorial and the inner. The sensorial works with the senses and the inner works with the consciousness. One mind is a foreign installation and the other is really our own. The bigger a person's egos are, the more ignorant they are to the realities of the area of life those egos move in. The crux of this post is that if we learn to relate to something esoterically we will be create space inside of ourselves to be able to gradually put the egos aside more and more. That is where the teachings come in. The teachings expand our understanding to see those realities that the big egos can't see. Usually the big egos have a very materialistic view, they only see the physical. The teachings expand our view to see the psychological as well as the esoteric. Introduction Presentation of some interesting esoteric details regarding sex. Seven-Fold Sex has a seven-fold scope.  Sex is never complete considering only the physical. A more complete map of sex is to see it as seven-fold. That is as having seven dimensions, starting with the physical and extending to the spiritual.
