The nature of Gnostic or spiritual retreats is a little interesting I think.
In the life of a Gnostic person there are so many that are organised and so many that one attends.
There is much expectation leading up to some, especially the big ones, the ones where there is substantial travelling involved.
The lead up can be long but the retreat itself flies.
The experience is so varied but a general feeling is that a retreat is like a train ride, one boards and is take through a lovely, fascinating journey within oneself then one gets off a little dizzy, back into life again, where we boarded. Back to face our reality.
Our work must continue - hopefully in a slight more enriched way using what we have learnt in the retreat. Retreat or no retreat our work must continue...
End (3293).
