Protect Others? - (4001)

This is an interesting question.


When we protect others there could be something deeper behind it. 


It may well be that we are stating the facts, the truth as we witnessed it or know it. But then we could be protecting others because we have vested interests.



Many times we don't want to tell on others because if we do they will hurt us. But there are other reasons why protecting others is really protecting ourselves.


In the case when we have vested interests we are really protecting ourselves.


This is hard to see at times. It maybe protecting in the sense of avoiding the true bad points of the person or only dwelling on the positive points. It could be defending our choice, our judgements, our perception, our beliefs etc.


In these ways we can discover that we are underneath it all protecting ourselves. But always of course there are times when we are not protecting ourselves but we are really protecting others. This is evident when we really really have no vested interests.

Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages.
