Not to Be Perfect But to Change - (5721)

In practice, in the begining, it is more important to focus on changing than being perfect. 

Perfection is a later stage after we have changed.

So often, when we are trying to be perfect we are not dying or changing in ourselves. We are imitating or pushing ourselves towards an appearance of perfect. To change is much more important.

To be perfect is very difficult and attemtping to be perfect is very stressful.

We none the less, carry the compulsion to be perfect in our minds and emotions all the time.

This causes us much stress and frustration.

This mental compulsion of being perfect is often the cause of anger and hurt self-love.

It is very relieving to understand we are not perfect and there is much to correct, and much of what needs correction will be pointed out to us by others.

It is also very stress relieving to understand that we can’t always get something to be perfect.

Master Samael said that the human being was far from perfect but the one who is perfect is the Inner Being.

So we can then leave perfection to our Inner Being and focus on changing while doing our best at all things and releasing oursleves from the compulsion of perfection.

What is the Kundabuffer or Kundartiguador? - (405)

Introduction Gurdjieff and Master Samael spoke much about the Kundabuffer organ and a lot of what Master Samael said is pretty clear. This post is just about going over some of what he said. Even Just Thinking Negative When we just even think, let alone speak about ourselves in a negative way, thinking things like: how we are really this and that bad and that is not at all what others see, that we are in capable, worth little, know nothing, can't do this and that, fail at this and that, a liar, a dreamer the list goes on...
