Free Yourself for a Discipline - (5858)

We sometimes think discipline is not freedom and the two are not related. That's not fully correct.

To follow a discipline requires freedom and delivers you freedom.

Freedom and dicipline are seeminlgy opposites but they are deeply related. So related in fact, that one can not exist without the other.

They form something like a living paradox, like a living ying yang symbol.

If we are following a discipline, think of the freedom it exercises to follow it and the freedom it gives. As the desire for freedom is the one of the greatest motivating factors for all human beings, this feeling of freedom will maintain us in that discipline.

To follow a discipline we have to be free. We must free up time, space, inner space, mental excuses, justifications, desires and break dependencies and focus on ourselves.

To follow a discipline is for those who are free! That is why so many don't follow one and give up so easily because they are not free enough inside and out to take it up and keep it going. Their will is simply not free enough.

The more we follow a discipline the more will we acquire and consequently the freer we will be internally and externally.

End (5858).
