Gnostic Sophia's Pattern of Having by Destroying - (6050)

When the Gnostic Sophia lacks something in her nature, she is compelled by inner urgency to fill what is lacking.

To fill what is lacking is correct.

The correct way of filling our lacks are the lessons for Sophia.

The conditioned Sophia seeks to fill that lack by trying to possess the value she lacks externally in this world.

Her way of trying to possess becomes 'to have' and 'to have' turns into 'having' by 'destroying'.

To the conditioned Sophia to destroy something is a way of having. 'If we can destroy something we have it, we have power over it, it became ours to destroy'.

What is more the truth is that we can barely possess ourselves. When it comes to possession what we can only get the closest to possessing is ourselves, yet we can't destroy ourselves. Our own body yes, we can destroy but we can never destroy the roots of ourselves which would be our inner Being. Impossible to destroy the Being.

Sometimes conditioned Sophia to have herself she goes on a destructive path of destroying herself. Many people after having tried to destroy themselves if they lived the tell the tale, 'found' themselves.

Underneath so much of what conditioned Sophia (us) destroys is the inner longing to fill that lack.

Behind so much of what people destroy is a conditioned love. Some people may say it is nonetheless still love, despite it being conditioned.

We would never destroy anything that we are totally neutral about. Hatred was once love and can become love again.

To the conditioned essence to have something becomes to destroy it. As Sophia is fractioned and destroyed, she seeks to absorb what she lacks in fragments and so by destruction she can make something to be like how she is.

To have something in total freedom is the way to 'have' something. To have someone in your life is to give to total freedom and then they in love are with you. You don't have them but they it looks like you do as they are with you but you still don't have them.

Conditioned Sophia frustrated by not being able to have something in an effort to fill an inner lack then looks to have it by destroying it.

Conditioned Sophia lacks unity and love and so tries to possess another and when the other can not be possessed conditioned Sophia destroys the other as a way of having.

The jealous Sophia lacking love for the other and for Herself (feeling inferior) tries to secure and guarantee love in another person and when that can not be, she in anger destroys the other so that she has that love and the other is not less than her - because she was able to destroy them.

Inner lacks are filled not with having but with liberating. As soon as something is liberated it fills what is lacking.

The inner lacks are what is bottled or conditioned in Sophia. She already has what she lacks within her but she can not access it in its pure form, due to it already having been conditioned.

Before liberating we have gathering up and giving. We gather up what we have of what we lack and we give it to ourselves and others, thus we begin the process of filling what we lack through strengthening and freeing what is conditioned.

The conditioned essence learns from the free essence expressing itself as the trapped essence can when it is free.

End (6050).

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Attention with the essence brings the power of presence, in other words brings a certain depth and continuity of flow  Attention with the essence doesn't tire or strain and opens doorways into perceiving what is behind events and the thoughts and feelings that appear within us. It allows us also to flow with the flow of life, which is a pleasant feeling. Conclusion, make the essence bring attention to outer and inner life. End (5197).

The Sacred Substance Askokin - (962)

Introduction In simple terms, the sacred Askokin substance is the result of the mercury and the sulphur. It is the transmuted energy that crystallises to form the internal bodies (astral, mental and causal). In other words, it is the transmutation of our sexual energies. The Abrustdonis’ and ‘Helkdonis that Gurdjieff mentions in the excerpt below, taken from “Belzeebub’s Tales to His Grandson” are none other than the elements of mercury and the sulphur so spoken about in Alchemy. Excerpt on the Sacred Substance Askokin “I first learned that the destiny of beings arising on this planet of yours is chiefly to elaborate—by means of the process of their existence—the vibrations required by Nature for the maintenance of those former parts of the planet now called Moon and Anulios, when, do you remember, I became worthy personally to converse for the second time with His Conformity the then still Angel, but now Archan...

Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation. The topic of religion and God is a constant theme in the movie. It is very violent though, matching it frankly, quite awful to watch. Your Soul is in Your Keeping Alone An interesting dialogue between the French appointed king of Jerusalem and French Knight, the protagonist of the movie. Note, the king wears that metal mask because he has leprosy. King Baldwin I...
