Sometimes Sacrifice Can NOT be Avoided - (274)

Introduction We may spend much time and effort working on ourselves so that we don’t feel the harshness or pain of having to make a sacrifice, or simply we may just not want to make a sacrifice, that is give something up that proves very painful and difficult to do. Moment of Comprehension After much struggle and comprehension the moment arrives that you realise that really to progress something must be given up or sacrificed. In other words something inferior must be given up to make way for something superior. Suspension and Depression It always happens that the longer we delay making this sacrifice the more in suspension we hold ourselves, and to be held in suspension for too long is very dangerous, especially on our morale. Depression easily follows the state of being held in the state of non-progress. Not Accepting Sacrifice Our whole problem before this moment was that we fought and fought against this idea that we had to give this thing up, we f...

Morning Prayer – Backdrop for the Day - (273)

The Days Backdrop To pray in the morning is quite important I find. Why? Because it from experience it really sets the backdrop for the day. It sets our day right in our spiritual work. It places our spiritual goals in our mind and heart and strengthens them there. It is very important I find! Without praying in the morning one goes about the day without that special grace that we can get from our Divine Mother and without a firm direction. Prayer in the morning gives us some strength to pass through the day working on ourselves and not be swallowed by life and its impressions. Morning prayer protects us from dangers, conflicts and problems and isolates us from the effects of our egos. In a nutshell it helps us to die in ourselves and go about our day in an honest way. Conclusion Experiment and see if praying in the morning to one’s Divine Father and Mother deep within makes a difference to your day and if it does then it seems to logical that the habit of praying...

Reason why Fornication Bears so much Karma - (272)

Ignorance The main reason why human beings currently strengthen lust and fornication so much is because of the ignorance of the mysteries of sex. If one knew in depth about sex and sexual energy not only from the physical perspective but from the psychological and esoteric perspectives the human being would use sex and behave sexually, in a very different way to the current and common way. Sexual Energy Sexual energy is the same life force as our essence, but it is that life force condensed into a physical form. The problem is that the human being does not know that, nor suspect it, so to the normal way of thinking is that the sexual energy does not carry much value, people value silver, gold, diamonds, cars, computers etc. much more and so for people to expel it from the body is no big deal and because people do not know the value of the sexual energy, the karma they get for expelling it is less than for the one that knows. If one Knows If one knows what the sexua...

The Rise of Duality and Relativity - (271)

Where does Duality Come From? Follow the headings below to understand where duality comes from. Absolute – Law of Zero In the very centre of the absolute in the chaos is the law of zero. The non-being, where there is no light or darkness. There is creation and life in potential. Law of One – Unity In the outer levels of the absolute is the law of One, the great Unity of all Beings - the unity of everything, the Great Common Cosmic Father. Creation – Duality Outside of the Absolute is creation and the first manifestation of creation is a departure from the law of one, which can be nothing other than the law of two, since two is the next number away from one. There we have duality. Two principles that entwine, oppose and struggle against one another, yet these two principles are defined by virtue of each other, they are co-dependent, one can not exist without the other. They define one another. They can be known as ying and yang, male and female, light and...

The Fall is the Absurd – Gold Traded for Lead - (270)

The Precious for the Worthless If we analyse any type of spiritual, ethical, moral or psychological fall we see this very common theme: that of giving up the precious for the worthless and what’s more the worthless that brings us bitterness. It is as if when we fall we trade precious gold for worthless heavy, burdensome lead. Association with Lower Levels of Being Something else that is very characteristic to the fall is that before eh fall there is an association with people of a lower level of Being. The association is partial but when the fall is complete the association becomes full and painful, before the fall it was not so painful. It would be better if it were then people probably would not fall. Conclusion This seems to be a very common tend or characteristic of any fall, , especially with the ego we always give up reality, life, clarity, consciousness, peace, intelligence for the bitterness, blindness and inferior emotions of the ego. E...

Focusing Consciousness on Itself Strengthens it (269)

Attention As we have said before consciousness and attention are very much linked and the consciousness is exercised when we focus it on something using our attention. A Key to Intensify Consciousness There is a key to intensify one’s consciousness and it is to focus our consciousness on itself. This works to intensify the power of the same consciousness. When one actually does this one feels an increase in awareness, an increase in alertness and knowledge of oneself. Also one’s vision and senses intensify as well. Consciousness Obeys the Laws of Light Master Samael said that consciousness obeys the same laws as light does. So a laser is basically a very intense beam of light that has been focused and intensified. So we can do the same with our consciousness following the same procedure or laws.  A laser beam is created by focusing light into a cavity where bye it bounces off reflective walls repeatedly until the reflected light comes into waveleng...

Consciousness and Attention (268)

Attention Consciousness and attention are very much linked. Our consciousness is where our attention is. If we put or focus our attention onto something our consciousness is there. With our consciousness focused on something or our attention on something our consciousness begins to see, understand, become aware and reveal information and truths about the object that we are focusing our attention on. Consciousness is in Your Mind and “Put your Mind to it!” People say put your mind to something and you will achieve it. That is true because when we put our mind onto something we put our attention onto it and therefore our consciousness. With our consciousness focussed on something the consciousness with its magic supplies all the creativity, invention, conviction and force to work so to achieve our goals. Conclusion Our consciousness is a light or a light bulb if you will, and is something that can be focused and only really works when it is focused. Consciousnes...

Arrogance Certainly Never Pays (267)

It Pays with Humiliation Well arrogance does pay, but only with humiliation. In fact the price for being arrogant is humiliation. We think in the moment that we are above being humiliated though later on down the track something happens beyond our control and we get humiliated. We can get sick, family or friends can get sick or die, we can lose our job, someone can crash into us and we can humiliated by someone superior to us. You know there  are always people above us, always. Arrogance Costs Arrogance really has a high price, we can be arrogant but know that it costs and either very soon or a little while down the track we will be charged and the currency in which we will be charged with will be humiliation. In other words when we are arrogant we run up a charge against our dignity. We may have a lot of dignity and so we can afford certain degrees of arrogance but if we have little dignity, the charge of arrogance against our dignity can be quite high, me...

A Spiritual Warrior or a Saint? (266)

Introduction Personally I had a big aversion to the possibility of becoming a saint. I thought erroneously that the work makes one a saint. Well it does make one a saint but it depends on what we call a saint or rather what we think a saint is. It is usually our own concept of what a saint is that we reject. We don’t want to become the concept that we have. Because we are not saints, we don’t have an idea of what it is really like to be a saint. Erroneous Concepts One can have a concept of a saint as being the holy person walking around in a monastery always in prayer with his or her hands joined together pointing upward towards the heights. The persona of a saint fitting more or less this appearance may appeal to people or may not appeal to people. Anyway the truth in the end is that as we work on ourselves we become more and more the Being, and the Being is the Being, He is not a saint, nor a hero, nor a magician or anything but Himself. However, just to confuse yo...

Stagnation Due to a Lack of Definition (265)

Introduction If you are ever stagnated in dissolving an ego check how your definition for the Being and the path is going. Your stagnation could be due to a lack of definition. You may still be wanting something from life and so subconsciously you keep this ego alive, hoping that it will be able to one day provide you with that thing from life that you want or think that you need. Holding onto the Ego for a Reason When we work on an ego and manage to live without it for a while but later fall back into it, swinging as a pendulum would from working to identifying with that ego there is a something that is stagnating us. There is some special factor there that we have to discover so to be able to go ahead in its dissolution. That special factor is usually a reason of some sort, a reason for why we are not letting that ego go, a reason why we still find that ego useful. There could in reality be many reasons but the reason I am proposing now is that it could be due to a lac...

Surrendering to the Being (264)

Introduction In this post I want to address this topic from a practical and very specific point of view. Imagine a Line Imagine you are with your parents and they offer you with all the support you need to complete your studies and establish yourself in your chosen career. And so before you, you see a line - a future, all that you have to do is to do your part, study, pass exams and find a job and we will reap our reward and so will our parents. However there is something rebellious inside of ourselves that does not want to be in that line because in that line it knows that it won’t be able to pursue its desires. Our Situation Our internal situation with our Being is exactly like that. With the work on ourselves and with the help of the Being and the Divine Mother a line extends before us from ourselves to the Being. All we have to do is to make sincere efforts to die in ourselves, to transmute and to teach others the work towards the Being. Following such a ...

A Gnostic View on Affirmations (263)

Introduction Affirmations have been mentioned many times. Susan Jeffers mentioned affirmations in her book “Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway” many times over. One affirmation that she found very useful was “I can handle it”. She claimed that this affirmation and many others are powerful and very useful in overcoming fear or at least making fear to somewhat subside. This post explains why affirmations can be powerful from the Gnostic perspective and how and why they work. What is an Affirmation? An affirmation is simply a sentence - a string of words nothing more. That is intended to repeated to one’s self many multiples of times. A true affirmation is really a sentence that expresses a truth. This truth may be one that we have experienced or one that we have taught or even one that we have been given to use so as to one day realise the truth in it and behind it.  It is though in all the cases and types, the goal of an affirmation is to strengthen, cult...

The Power of the Internal Word! (262)

Introduction We need to use the power of our internal word to battle the ego, especially when it is in our subconscious and it manifests strongly urging us to act. Fights with the Ego When the ego really comes up strong in us and wants to manifest to get what it wants, we can either just allow it and go with it or we can chose a different way, the way of the work and the Being, which will may well lead us into direct conflict with the ego. Reason Makes the Internal Word Powerful In that case we need a way to fight the ego, we need a weapon. When we have reasons not to go with the ego we have a weapon, but it is one thing to have a weapon and entirely different thing is to know how to use the weapon. This post is about using eh weapon of the internal word, which is no more than our powerful reasons. The internal word would be useless if the reasons we have to not go with the ego were weak. The more powerful are our reasons the more power our internal word has...

The Divine Mother Can Wake Us Up Physically! (261)

Introduction If you have ever been worried about how much you should sleep or not sleep, just go to sleep after our practices are all done and then ask the Divine Mother to wake you up. Put the rhythm of your practices in her hands. She Works Lo and behold she will certainly wake you up a time for you to practice and get yourself ready. I am trying to do this, trust in Her and put my work schedule in her hands. Sometimes She can wake you up very early, co-operate with it and do your practices and whatever other chore you need to fulfill. Conclusion Try it really works, I have heard that others have had many good results with this as well. End (261).

The Key to Whiten the Waters (260)

Introduction Master Samael gave humanity to key to whiten their sexual waters and to thus move from the black waters of infrasexuality to the white waters of Alchemy or suprasexuality. There are the four colours of Alchemy, black, white, yellow and red.  Black to White Transitioning to white is really the first confirmation of having entered, in a stable way, into suprasexuality. The white waters are a result of very responsible transmutation combined with the yearning for the Being. Conclusion One then whiten their waters by transmuting, never losing the sexual energy and then yearning for the Being, making the sexual act a a prayer and yearning deeply, intensely for the energy to rise up one’s spine into the brain and down to the heart so that the Being can take this energy for his self-realisation and that this act of transmutation brings us closer to the Being in other to Him. End (260).
