Esoteric Class Notes - (4944)

Introduction

This post presents notes taken during a class given by m.m.m.

Notes

Lion of the Law

The lion has been chosen as a symbol of the Divine Law because the lion best represents the following four qualities:

1.) Power

2.) Force

3.) Sacrifice

4.) Nobility

5.) Valor

Order of the Knights of the Christ

The Order of the Knights of the Christ have seven foundations.

12.) Love

2.) Balance

3.) Faith

4.) Justice

5.) Freedom

6.) Peace

7.) Unity

The masters that belong to this order care for the upholding of these seven foundational values.

These seven values are the values of the Cosmic Christ in the planet.

That is why this order comprises masters of the Law, of Love, of Force, of Command, of Life etc.

The main role of the Divine Law is to establish balance and unity within each individual.

The government of Atman and the Social Christ is where a people are governed or a society is to function based on the values of Atman and the Christ, which are the seven values mentioned above.

Substance in the Blood

There is a substance in the blood that the ego creates within us. The ego creates it in all the bodies up to the causal and it affects the heart and the nervous system. It disappears gradually as we dissolve the ego.

As the blood is related to the flow of life within us, the presence of this substance affects our flow of life.

Flow of Attention

The flow of attention has three directions:

1.) Outward (external circumstances)

2.) Being (inwards and upwards)

3.) Abyss (inwards and downwards)

To be awakened we must keep our flow of attention directed towards the Being.

When we fall asleep our flow of attention is caught in flowing outwardly and inwardly towards our abyss.

When we direct our attention towards our abyss we lose light and consciousness.

The key is to always keep our attention focused inside of ourselves directed towards our Inner Being.

The best way to do self-remembering is do it being awakened. When we know that we are the essence of our Being we are really starting self-remembering. This is the true beginning of self-remembering.

The Heart

The heart is the receptacle of our thoughts and the nature of our thoughts. If the thoughts have a positive nature our heart relaxes. If the nature of our thoughts are negative the heart will feel and react negatively.

We are responsible for the health of our heart. Our brain releases elements which affect our heart, especially the left ventricle. If we want a healthy heart we need to stop becomming identified with negative thoughts and impressions.

When the heart receives negative thoughts and elements from the brain the heart responds defending itself in an effort to mitigate these negative effects. After a long time the heart becomes tired and ill. It is the consciousness in the cells of the heart and in the atom of our Being that work to defend our precious heart from such negative effects.

Awaken the emotional center to consciousness, for the consciousness.

As we advance on the path we become aware of how much consciousness we have free.

Our organs have memory, however karmic memory. Our eyes for example have karmic memory. We become blind due to karmic memory. This is because our organs remember our karma. The karmic memory that we have affects our organs. This memory works by remembering the ill conditions of the past and recreates the same ill conditons in this current life.

All the senses and organs are connected to the consciousness. As we awaken the consciousness our senses and organs become healthier.

When we stop seeing correctly we are under the karmic memory of our eyes, esoterically speaking. Karmically speaking our eyes are used to miscontrue reality and to judge wrongly.

The problem today is that the consciousness obeys the senses where it should be that the senses command and correct the senses, the mind and the centres.

To awaken is to see the truth of the events and to correct the misperceptions that could arise inside of us.

The most difficult memory to deal with are the emotional and the instinctive memory. Because they are very difficult to control.

The atom Nous contains the consciousness of Kether. It helps in the awakening of intuition.

End (4944).

Comments

  1. Thank you for sharing these notes. I had always made an assumption that the Ray of Force was the same as the Ray of Command. Can you describe some of the qualities of the Ray of Command?

    1. The ray of command is slightly different to force. It is do with hierarchy, authority and order. Which also does imply force, yet there is a difference.

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Attention with the essence brings the power of presence, in other words brings a certain depth and continuity of flow  Attention with the essence doesn't tire or strain and opens doorways into perceiving what is behind events and the thoughts and feelings that appear within us. It allows us also to flow with the flow of life, which is a pleasant feeling. Conclusion, make the essence bring attention to outer and inner life. End (5197).

The Sacred Substance Askokin - (962)

Introduction In simple terms, the sacred Askokin substance is the result of the mercury and the sulphur. It is the transmuted energy that crystallises to form the internal bodies (astral, mental and causal). In other words, it is the transmutation of our sexual energies. The Abrustdonis’ and ‘Helkdonis that Gurdjieff mentions in the excerpt below, taken from “Belzeebub’s Tales to His Grandson” are none other than the elements of mercury and the sulphur so spoken about in Alchemy. Excerpt on the Sacred Substance Askokin “I first learned that the destiny of beings arising on this planet of yours is chiefly to elaborate—by means of the process of their existence—the vibrations required by Nature for the maintenance of those former parts of the planet now called Moon and Anulios, when, do you remember, I became worthy personally to converse for the second time with His Conformity the then still Angel, but now Archan...

Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation. The topic of religion and God is a constant theme in the movie. It is very violent though, matching it frankly, quite awful to watch. Your Soul is in Your Keeping Alone An interesting dialogue between the French appointed king of Jerusalem and French Knight, the protagonist of the movie. Note, the king wears that metal mask because he has leprosy. King Baldwin I...
