Definition of Destiny (211)

Destiny

When we think of destiny we always think of some sort of end, goal or objective, and a series of events, happenings and occurrences that take us to that final end or goal.

Pre-Determination

Destiny implies some sort of programming or pre-determination of events in our life. We say in Gnosis that everyone has a destiny, without exception; there is a plan for everyone’s life.

Because of destiny or rather because of the final end of destiny the events in our life are pre-determined or programmed according to or by virtue of this end. The end that destiny that takes us to determines the nature of the events that we pass through in the path of life.

Every Human Being has a Destiny

Everyone has a mechanical destiny. Without exception, everyone is born with their destiny laid out before them. The end or goal or objective of a person’s mechanical destiny is death. It however, may also be to achieve the purpose of our life and once this has been achieved our life’s destiny is not complete until we have fulfilled our death.

There are two types of destiny. One is the mechanical destiny and the other is the destiny set by our interior divinity. Please note, the posts to follow this one will expand upon these two types of destinies.

Conclusion

Written in the great book of death whom the angels of death have access to, is our destiny, there instructions on how and when our death is to occur are written, and written in our book of life or book of karma, that is held amongst the annals of the Divine Law are the events of our life that are shaped by our final destiny.

Our book of life and karma in the last moments is handed over to become an entry in the great book of death, where our destiny is made complete., and whee the last action of our life is carried out.
