The Sword and the Stone - (973)

Sword Driven into the Stone

That is very interesting, that symbol of Arthurian Legend - the sword driven into a stone.

In Gnosis we know the sword to be the fire of Kundalini and the stone to be sex.

To remove the sword from the stone means to have liberated the fire from sexuality, in order words to awoken the sacred fire of kundalini.

Mysterious Sword and Stone

One can win the sword but not the stone. If one gains the stone one does not lose the sword.

One can lose the sword but not the stone, because one has not formed the stone yet.

There is a kind of error where one falls but the sword is not dropped.

If the sword is dropped a fall is produced.

Meaning

In the above paragraphs the sword is the sacred fire of the Kundalini and the stone is the philosopher's Stone. The stone can either be a symbol for sex or the philosopher’s stone. There are other symbols for the philosopher’s stone such as the phoenix bird, the double headed eagle etc.
