The Teaching
A Monad can have two or more physical vehicles. The most common
version of this teaching is that a Monad can have up to 7 physical vehicles.
Excerpt
I will find it and add it in here as soon as I can. If my
memory serves me correctly I believe there is a mention of this teaching in “Perfect Matrimony” by V.M
Samael Aun Weor.
Examples or Anecdotes
As a very concrete case, as related by m.m.m, there was a man
in Gnosis who lived in Mexico, and whom Master Samael knew had his essence shared among himself and another man: the Gnostic man and another man.
The Gnostic man in Mexico was a lawyer by profession and the
other man whom he shared his essence with was a farmer in Colombia. An attempt was
made for the lawyer to attain the essence that the farmer had, however, it
happened that the Gnostic man later died, and the essence in the Gnostic man
went to the farmer in Colombia.
It is has also been said that Samael the Monad, the Logos, the
regent of Mars had more than one physical vehicle.
A Reflection
Reflecting on this teaching and on the anecdotes that exemplify
this teaching, one may feel a little scared. One’s sense of importance to one’s
inner Being seems to suffer…
There being more than one vehicle of our Monad means that we
are not as important as if there was one only one vehicle.
The fact is that our Monad has moved at least one vehicle (us)
into a school of mysteries, makes us as a vehicle relatively important. This
does not rule out that a Monad may have other vehicles also in other mystery
schools.
A shift can occur in us where we perhaps thought that our
Being is there to support us. It seems now that what is truer, is that it is us
that must work very hard to make the investment that our inner Monad has in us,
to bear fruit. Because with there being other vehicles, our Being can easily
turn Its attention to any other vehicle as a hope of fulfilling its will of
self-realisation.
Conclusion
Our Monad is the important one, It is the one that has set things up so that Its vehicles have the right conditions and knowledge necessary that at least one
of Its vehicles will bear fruit in self-realisation.
The Monad is the strength and the intelligence that is above
and beyond our life organising its will and consequently moving our life in
accordance with Its plans.
Our role is work and co-operation with our inner Being.
Rebellion and disobedience it seems leads to being cut loose
from our inner Being. Having been cut loose, we can no longer be moved by the inner
Being. Ego and personality take over, causing the vehicle to eventually trip
over and fall into the abyss…
End (2635).
