Introduction

This post presents some notes on the very common and necessary experience of the spiritual night.

Notes

A necessary stage we must all pass through.

We all pass through it differently, depending on our degree of misalignment with our Inner Being.

For some it is longer and for some it is more intense.

A stage of purification.

It burns away all expectations and concepts of the path.

In many cases the spiritual night can begin due to several concepts been showed to be false.

It also purifies us of false bases and sets us off an inner journey to find what and where the real, solid and unmutable bases are within us.

It's main objective is to turn us towards taking foot in our own experience, consciousness and Inner Being.

It helps us to develop trust in our consciousness and Inner Being.

It makes us to wrk harder to find our own light.

It makes us to continue working on ourselves, for and with our Inner Being out of love, leaving behind the notion of reward, merit, powers, faculties initiations etc.

It brings emptiness and darkness for us to work deeper and more inwardly to find light and fill the void with light.

It develops within us endurance, patience, grit, tenacity, yearning, love and transcendence.

It frees us from the false to make us empty to receive the real.

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Attention with the essence brings the power of presence, in other words brings a certain depth and continuity of flow Attention with the essence doesn't tire or strain and opens doorways into perceiving what is behind events and the thoughts and feelings that appear within us. Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation.
