Using Transparency to Die in Ourselves - (5866)

Introduction

Master Samael spoke to us about knowing how to die, how to suffer and I think about how to be silent.

To know how to die can mean to know the many ways that we can die, and when to apply those ways.

A really good way to die is to do practices that displace the whole 'myself'. Meaning to put aside the whole personal identity of myself.

A good way to do this is to be awareness, which is to embrace the following qualities: transparent, formless, invisible knowing.

This post lists some of the ways that we can die in ourselves by embracing some the qualities of awareness, namely transparency.

If we know some of these ways we can apply them in the many different parts of our day and life.

Here is the list and some of the events in which they can be applied.

The key of this post is that for each of these situations there are particular attributes of the consciousness for us to embrace, and by being those attributes, we help ourselves to die with precision and to a very deep level within those events.

List

Listening

Listening with full attention brings much opportunity to die in ego-centric based distraction, and be only awareness with no personal interests.

Focus on awareness, be formless, transparent and invisible. Seeing all that comes into awareness and acting as appropriate.

Taking note of what appears psychologically, applying on the spot comprehension, if required taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Paying Attention

When consciously paying attention there is much that we can die in.

Be like a still clear lake.

Essentially our attachment to ourselves and selfishness, which resists us giving over our full attention to the moment.

Focus on awareness, be formless in identity and be present. Seeing all that comes into awareness and acting as appropriate.

Taking note of what appears psychologically, applying on the spot comprehension, if required taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Speaking

When speaking consciously we can observe much of our vested interests, much of our ill-will, much of our subjectivity (biases), much of our memory and much of the mechanical nature of our psyche.

Be like a crystal knife cutting and shaping our words as they are being formulated. The knife of the consciousness.

Focus on alert awareness using it to see the consequences of what we are going to say and using it to correct to the process of forming our speech by formulating speech that adheres to reality.

Taking note of the ill-will, vested interests, applying on the spot letting go and taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Difficult Situations

Difficult situations as Master Samael said give us the best chance to die. That is totally true but we always have a tough time accepting that in the moment.

Be like a river. The consciousness is like a clear river that flows ever onwards taking us to continuously through learning experiences and to experiences of new states of consciousness.

Focus on awareness, allowing ourselves to be like a river that flows, and flow with what we have to accept and do. Be consciousness repeatedly, helping ourselves to separate from the storm inside our centres.

Taking note of what appears psychologically, repeatedly applying on the spot comprehension, and if required taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Walking

To walk like glass. Being only awareness, not attaching to anything and not giving attention to anything but that which is awareness.

Focus on awareness, be formless, transparent and invisible. Seeing all that comes into awareness and acting as appropriate.

Taking note of what appears psychologically, applying on the spot comprehension, if required taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Social Events

There is so much that we avoid and get identified with in social events,

Focus on awareness, be formless, transparent and invisible. Seeing all that comes into awareness and acting as appropriate.

Taking note of what appears psychologically, applying on the spot comprehension, if required taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Shopping

Be like a spotlight where we are focused on finding what we are there to buy, and where the impressions of all the interesting things in the shop do not enter our mind.

Focus on a focused awareness, a line of light that illuminates essentially what we need.

Taking note of what appears psychologically, applying on the spot comprehension of need vs wanting as well as what is behind the sensation of having. If required taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Praying

Be a fire, a source that radiates warmth which is life and light which is consciousness.

Focus on the heart as a source of light and love for the higher part of ourselves and others. Be the consciousness so that we can perceive all that comes into our awareness and not get distracted from continuing to direct our light and love inwards and upwards.

Taking note of what appears psychologically, applying on the spot comprehension, if required taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Remembering the Past

Be like air, something that is everywhere and something that does not get stuck. That sees yet does not become and does not get stuck.

Focus on awareness, be formless, transparent and invisible. Seeing all that comes into awareness and reacting.

Taking note of what appears psychologically, applying on the spot comprehension, if required taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Physical Job

Be focused awareness and caring for things done right.

Seeing all that comes into awareness and acting as appropriate.

Taking note of what appears psychologically, applying on the spot comprehension, if required taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Gnostic Class

Be awareness in its qualities of openness, inwardly explorative and transformative. Looking to bridge gaps and transform impressions through knowledge of ourselves.

Driving

Be both focused and peripheral awareness.

Seeing all that comes into awareness and acting as appropriate.

Taking note of what appears psychologically, applying on the spot comprehension, if required taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Eating

Be transparent transforming awareness. Extracting the best substances from the food we are eating and moving our awareness all through the body from the stomach to take the most advantage of the food being eaten.

Seeing all that comes into awareness and acting as appropriate (eat less maybe).

Taking note of what appears psychologically, applying on the spot comprehension, if required taking this for further comprehension later on and presenting it to the Divine Mother for dissolution.

Meditating

Be a mobile light that moves in our interior and sees all that arises, witnessing it all and letting it pass while seeing into it to become more aware of what is in our mind and how our mind works.

Meditation gives us the model of what it is like to be our consciousness and what's more important is the way to repeat keep on being pour consciousness.

End (5866).

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Attention with the essence brings the power of presence, in other words brings a certain depth and continuity of flow  Attention with the essence doesn't tire or strain and opens doorways into perceiving what is behind events and the thoughts and feelings that appear within us. It allows us also to flow with the flow of life, which is a pleasant feeling. Conclusion, make the essence bring attention to outer and inner life. End (5197).

The Sacred Substance Askokin - (962)

Introduction In simple terms, the sacred Askokin substance is the result of the mercury and the sulphur. It is the transmuted energy that crystallises to form the internal bodies (astral, mental and causal). In other words, it is the transmutation of our sexual energies. The Abrustdonis’ and ‘Helkdonis that Gurdjieff mentions in the excerpt below, taken from “Belzeebub’s Tales to His Grandson” are none other than the elements of mercury and the sulphur so spoken about in Alchemy. Excerpt on the Sacred Substance Askokin “I first learned that the destiny of beings arising on this planet of yours is chiefly to elaborate—by means of the process of their existence—the vibrations required by Nature for the maintenance of those former parts of the planet now called Moon and Anulios, when, do you remember, I became worthy personally to converse for the second time with His Conformity the then still Angel, but now Archan...

Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation. The topic of religion and God is a constant theme in the movie. It is very violent though, matching it frankly, quite awful to watch. Your Soul is in Your Keeping Alone An interesting dialogue between the French appointed king of Jerusalem and French Knight, the protagonist of the movie. Note, the king wears that metal mask because he has leprosy. King Baldwin I...
