I Still Need to Experience You Say. Well Have a Read of this. – (1719)

All the Time… Sometimes people and Gnostic students say: "II still need some experience of life'', "I still need this experience" or “I want to have this or that experience” and so guess what, I have to leave the work on myself and go and travel, party, meet people (i.e. get into trouble, make mistakes etc. etc.). This post presents something interesting to take into account in the case you may feel this way or there has been this question in you simmering away in your background. Desire for the Past… My marvellous missionary says that what a person wants when they say that sort of thing is to experience what they have already experienced before! It is quite simple, if we have not experienced something before we are not going to want to experience it. So what you think you need to experience before you commit to the work, you have already experienced at some point, obviously in the past...

Sexual Energy is Related to Will – (1718)

Relation to Will Sexual energy is related to will. If we have sexual energy, we can have more will. By transmuting and channelling our sexual energy we can enhance our will. As soon as we decide and consistently remind ourselves to drive our sexual energy into an esoteric goal such as maintaining our state of alertness and deepening our state of alertness, we enhance our will and strengthen our will to work to fulfil this task. Doing this is a part of what Master Samael calls “thinking sexually”. To think sexually is to use our sexual energy wisely and to know that it can make a difference in any field of life especially in our psychological and esoteric fields of life. Big Help in Dissolving Lust Doing this is a big help to the person who wants to dissolve lust. Because lust precisely uses our sexual energy when we are idle, when we are not giving it a purpose, and when we are not giving it a value. As soon a...

Prayer Brings Psychological Order– (1717)

The Order in You The order in you is your Real Being. Because in your Being are your real priorities, urgencies and your real self. All that you are, is there and so if we want real order it makes sense that we must focus on that part which is our real self. The real Being is also our reality that encompasses our physical, psychological and esoteric aspects of our life. Order is Your Being Really for the person who works on him or herself the order is the Being, that is to put our Being first. As soon as we do that, order appears in our life. We can do that just sometimes by deciding to consult our Being, or even to remember our Being or even to prayer to our Being. What is Not Real What is not real does not bring fulfilment or contentment or order to our system and leads us astray and causes us to feel a little lost, always behind, always trying to catch up, the sensation of having forgotten things, wasting time, the sensation of running late. ...

Trust in the Being and the Law Takes you Above Mental Struggles – (1716)

Just Trust If you just trust in your Being and in the fact that the Divine Law always makes everything right and just, then that trust will lift you up above the mental and very human struggles of the opposites. Above the fight for what is fair and what is not fair etc. etc. Trust in your Eagle (Being) makes your heart soar! Things may look unfair. Then our trust would tell us that "that is the way that it must be". If it is wrong our trust will say that "the Law will correct it at some point later on down the track". If you have trust in one area, understand well the way trust works and then extend that same trust into the other areas of your life where there is distrust so to cultivate trust in those areas. End (1716).

It is Obvious Animals Pay Karma – (1715)

Introduction - Observation It is really obvious when we look at the conditions in which animals live in and pass through, that they too pay karma. There are dogs that are loved by the whole family, that are fed well, walked as often as necessary and sleep inside the house sheltered from the cold, the heat and the rain. Then there are dogs that are mistreated, malnourished, kept in cages and used to fight almost to death. In conclusion here, there are some animals that are certainly paying much less karma than others and we may even say that these animals may have a certain level of dharma. While others seem to be paying karma non-stop. This one very observation is very interesting and tells us a lot about the cycle of involution and evolution. Dog fighting - a karma for the poor elemental in the body of a dog. The dog can not escape it, it is imposed on it by force. When there is no escape there is karma. What this Tells Us   From what we know about ka...

Don’t Think of Dissolving the Ego Until There is in You the Constant Will of “I don’t want to Think, Feel and Do that of the Ego!” – (1714)

Only Will Can Reckon with Will Mind and emotion can not reckon with will. At first it seems as if they can but it is soon apparent that they lack the ability to do so. In the end only one will can reckon with another will. We Fail Because We Lack Will We fail in our attempts to dissolve any ego when we lack the will to do it. To acquire this will can take a long and windy path. A path of many failures and many learnings but what is so important is that we get to this point of acquiring the will that moves into our feelings and says “I honestly don’t want to think, feel and do this ego any more.”. We can get to this point with honest and sincere work and patience. Many times we think that we are there but the facts show us that we are not quite there yet. Patience and persistence will get us there. Even though we suffer many setbacks, the one thing that gets us there is that of never giving up. If we have at least t...

Don't Compare! – (1713)

Be Smart If we don't compare we don't get into psychologically problematic states! Where we think that we are useless and something is wrong with us. Two Problems There are two problems, one is comparison and the other is the interpretation of that comparison. Trick Our Comparing Mind If one of the two components are missing, then there will be no low internal states resulting from the comparison. It is Not That Important Usually the interpretation of the comparison is the part we get attached to. All because it seems so important, so critical. The key is that it is not important! That is our work, to see that and understand that it is not as important as we think or feel it is. You may say, "look he got the self-realisation by doing this and that and I am not doing this and that and I am not going to get it." Well that is not important! What is important is that you lift you're game to do be moving steadily towards giving your best...

Give Your Sexual Energy a Conscious Purpose – (1712)

A Purpose Tell yourself I want to give this sexual energy which is the result of the air I breathe, the food I eat, the impressions I receive, the thoughts and feelings that I think and feel, and the life force from the Being connected to my essence, a conscious purpose. I am going to use it to get to the bottom of these feelings and thoughts that bother me so much! I am going to use it to separate from and come to dissolve the ego that is generating such feelings. Use it on Purpose or Watch it Dissipate Tell yourself I am going to use it to do something within myself. I am not going to waste the marvellous opportunity that the quantity of sexual energy that I have is offering me! If we don’t have a conscious and decided purpose for it, we end up wasting it. Exactly if it were money. End (1712).

Lack of Trust – (1711)

A lack of a value in us is what creates psychological needs. These needs that we have show us, if we know how to read them, what values we actually lack. The lack of trust produces a lot security seeking, a lot of assurance seeking, a lot of connecting to make sure things are ok and also a lot of controlling. If we can't solve the lack in us, we come to expect to receive what we lack from others. And we get angry as well when others don't notice or comply with these expectations. How do we solve the whole situation? These are the steps: 1.)     Know what value we lack that is producing the need 2.)     Decrease the processes that are the opposite of the value. 3.)     Cultivate the value. There are various steps or stages involved in cultivating a value. Every value in life has a true nature. End (1711).

What the Lacking of Values Does - (1710)

Looking at the Values Lacking Behind the ‘I’ of Self-Consideration There is an aspect of the “I” of self-consideration related to relationships that make one to feel the feeling that one is not very complete. That something is missing, that there is a lacking of some kind in us. That we need something from someone. That we can't be happy or feel complete or as ourselves until we receive something from someone. ‘The Lacking’ Examined This kind of lacking does not allow us to flow onwards with the events of life. We remain unhappy with the way life is in those moments. We remain fixed on those moments, and this fixation perpetuates our unhappiness. This lacking is not something physical but something psychological. It is in our thoughts and in our feelings. It is really our own selves denying us the feeling of the ‘normal' feeling of being complete. Whatever the circumstance, we owe it to ourselves and more to our Real Being. Because our inner Being is com...

Flow Like Water- (1709)

Flow A good thing to try especially in social circumstances is to be like water. To flow onwards from one mini social event to the next. Flow in Body and Mind Flow onwards with our body and mind. Flow onwards with our attention, our thoughts without consideration for ourselves. Meaning, to be what we are and remain as that, without our thoughts saying we are 'less' in any way or in any direction or 'more' in any way or in any direction. Water Flows as It Is Water flows as it is, it does not flow as a hero or as a ‘poor me’. It just flows. Sometimes just to help us, it is quite useful to use our will and imagination. Imagine being one with a river, that is being a river. Feel what it is like to be a flowing river and then flow like the river. Imagination and will are very creative and they can combine to produce a new and different internal state. This is a very good exercise to do, because we ...

See the Bottom of the Well - (1708)

Introduction When I was younger I would get so frustrated not being able to see the bottom of a drain. I would do whatever it took to see the bottom. We don't however need to look down drains any more because we have a very large and deep well within us right here and now, and that well is the well of of our psychology. Deep Vision Deep vision of ourselves is what we need. To find our well and stare right down the middle of it until we get to the very bottom. Then we can breathe a sigh of relief. Because we can see all that there is to see. That is the ideal, and we can't always get there, the second best thing is to see as far down that well as our capacities will allow us. Meditation The well is the subconscious and the best moment to try and do this is in meditation. Sharpen the sense of inner self-observation. Sharpen the inner hearing and sight and in total silence perceive, probe, search to detect the subtlest voices, sounds and images of our sub...

Pattern of the Ouroboros – (1707)

Ouroboros The snake that devours its own tail. This symbol that I am very sure that you all have seen before is called the Ouroboros. It has been used by many orders, cultures and esoteric schools. The Alchemists were well known for using the symbol of the ouroboros, as well as some of the old Gnostic orders. Significance The symbol of the ouroboros reveals a great truth about creation, and therefore the Absolute, as what is in creation are reflections of the principles and laws within the Absolute. It is said that the Absolute knows itself more through the act of creating. Creation is said to serve as a mirror for the Absolute to contemplate itself so to know itself more and more. The Serpent That Devours Its Own Tail… Everything is contained within the absolute and everything returns to the absolute. The beginning and the end touch, opposites unite, the great and the small touch, etc. When the op...

The Measuring Stick: What Takes you Closer to Yourself is the Go! – (5247)

Measuring Stick This is a good measuring stick. If something takes you out of yourself and therefore away from your inner Being, it is not good for you. If the life circumstance is a pleasant good one but you notice that you are travelling away from yourself going from your depths to the superficial it is not so satisfying and good for your work. If the life circumstance is difficult but it is driving you ever more inwards to find answers and work on correcting erroneous ways of processing impressions and thoughts then it is good and satisfying. If we employ this measuring stick in our everyday life it can help us very much! Especially in making decisions and in making good use of our time. End (5247).

Pleasure is to NOT Find Yourself – (1705)

Don't use pleasure to find yourself. This post explains why! Pleasures are not the Being. The Being is beyond and deeper than them. Which means that yourself is deeper and beyond them. To be stuck in pleasures is to remain on the surface of yourself and you are not to be found on the surface but rather at the core. On the surface is where you will never find yourself, you will only witness the opposite – the eventual loss of yourself. Those who delved into drugs and sex to find themselves never did! The only thing they got was an early decrepit condition. They ended up weak, tired, unhealthy and drained of much of their vital values and energy, too tired and exhausted to do embark on any spiritual work.  End (1705).
