Extracting the Wisdom from Life’s Events - (683)

Introduction

The wisdom that we can gain in life comes from the very events of our own life. Master Samael can be heard saying in one of the recordings of an informal meeting that he had with some students that he would meditate on the small details of life and extract wisdom that way. We can do the same, our life is there in front of us and it is all that we have really to be able to extract the wisdom that we so desperately need.

We can’t really use the lives of others to get our wisdom, we have to use ours. Mind you we can learn from the lives of others, but wisdom comes from experience plus comprehension, and we can only really deeply experience our own life.

Even if we live a life that is not so full of intense events there are still many small details that can give us wisdom.

Wisdom

All the wisdom that we extract works its way to our Being. It is first processed and realised by our essence and later when we develop our golden embryo, it fuses within our golden embryo further developing and enriching it. Actually Master Samael says that it is this wisdom that is what makes our Being – Atman a master.

Wisdom Formula

Wisdom is equal to experience plus comprehension or in short form wisdom = experience + comprehension.

Experience is not so hard to come by, but comprehension is. Comprehension could come about in two ways. One, by comprehending the ego or egos involved in the experience and or by deeply comprehending the nature of the event or experience. The deeper comprehension comes from the combination of these two.

So someone who has been through 'a lot' and has comprehended that ‘a lot’ very deeply we could say that that person has a lot of wisdom. In the case of Master Samael he is really very wise, because in the past he really rolled in the mud, though in this life he really went deep into the comprehension of the egos that were involved and so combining his experience and his comprehension we can say that he is really wise because he has a lot of both (experience and comprehension or death of the ego).

Extracting Wisdom

Our Consciousness

Our own consciousness captures and witnesses everything that we do and experience in life. When it is our consciousness that captures or experiences the events of our life it transforms them or extracts the wisdom from those events. The problem is that it is usually our mind that captures the events of life and it stores them, adds to them, complicates them, makes concepts out of them etc.

So we have to do something to make it so that it is our consciousness that captures the events of our life. We have to do what Master Samael did and go and meditate on the events of our life and extract the wisdom from them.

Karma

A large part of extracting wisdom from the events of life is the death of the ego and comprehending the karma that was processed.

Getting Your Wisdom

We can voluntarily do this by first looking at the physical reality. We have to see cause and effect in the physical events of our life. We have to see what the benefits and disadvantages were. See what the costs were and see how we were affected physically.

Then we must move onto the psychological reality and see what is going on there. We essentially have to see the exact same points there within our psychological reality.

Then we must move to the esoteric reality and see the exact same points there but from the esoteric or spiritual Being perspective.

Doing this covers the full realm of reality and so we can make our learning complete. We must look for the secret wisdom - the wisdom that was before unknown to us. This comes when we meditate on the event and work in comprehending the ego involved.

Conclusion

Our life is the fertile ground for everything that we can develop. Socrates said: “An unexamined life is not worth living.”.

Comprehending the events of our life may even lead us to the realisation of our secret inner urgencies.

What is the Kundabuffer or Kundartiguador? - (405)

Introduction Gurdjieff and Master Samael spoke much about the Kundabuffer organ and a lot of what Master Samael said is pretty clear. This post is just about going over some of what he said. In the Quinto Evangelio, Master Samael also revealed many more details which do not appear in his books. Note, the Qunito Evangelio is a two tome compilation of transcriptions of many recordings of informal talks that Master Samael had with his students. English and Spanish Terms There are these two terms Kundartiguador and Kundabuffer which refer to the same thing. Kundartiguador is Spanish and Kundabuffer is English. I believe it was Gurdjieff who first introduced these terms in his book “Beelzebub’s Tales to his Grandson”. I believe “Beelzebub’s Tales to his Grandson” was not originally written in ether Spanish or English. So these terms Kundartiguador and Kundabuffer are translations where the word “Kunda” could not be translated and the ending "buffer" could b...

When We Speak Bad About Ourselves - Because of Self-Compassion - (2963)

Even Just Thinking Negative When we just even think, let alone speak about ourselves in a negative way, thinking things like: how we are really this and that bad and that is not at all what others see, that we are in capable, worth little, know nothing, can't do this and that, fail at this and that, a liar, a dreamer the list goes on... We can be 100% sure that self-compassion is behind this because pride by itself would never allow this.  In a case like this self-compassion taps into what pride hides from itself and others and exposes it. Feeling that it is doing job at ruining ourselves. Why It Does What It Does? Self-compassion does this sort of thing to avoid reprimand and to extract compassion from others. Self-compassion is about getting compassion for ourselves through others. It is set-up in relativity, using others as a reference point. Really the best thing that you can do for a person who is pitted against this ego is to ignore them, so that they can fa...

The Divine Mother is there when we Comprehend - (5780)

A very wonderful instructor gave a talk on Koradi Radio a few days ago and he said something that really impacted. He said that when we comprehend something, our Divine Mother is present right in that moment of comprehension. Especially if it is do with an "I" we are working on. He went on to say that he knows that She is there when we comprehend something. This for me was marvellous, because I have felt the same, though I was never fully sure. This is great news when we want to build a connection to our Divine Mother and doubt when is present. We can know that She is present when we are trying to comprehend. I feel that She really wants us to comprehend the "I" and further more She helps us to comprehend. We can truly ask for Her help to comprehend something and the help will come in such a natural way that we will tend to overlook it.   She is better than Google...  End (5780).
