A Technique to Gain Knowledge
Meditation is a very good technique to gain insight into
something. Besides being a technique to relax the body and the mind it is a
very good means of obtaining knowledge direct from our consciousness about
something.
Before Obtaining Direct Knowledge from the Consciousness
Before we can effectively do this, that is meditate directly
on something so as to gain insight into it, it is so very helpful to clear all
our blocks related to what we what insight into.
The way to do this is concentrate on the thing we wish to
know more about and listen attentively to all that the mind does not understand
about it, to hear all the complains, gripes and protests the mind has in
relation to it.
Once the mind has exhausted itself revealing all that it does
not understand about it, we can go to either mediate with a cleared out mind on
the thing that you wish to know more about. Or either analyse each block, each
misunderstanding so to dissolve it. If we dissolve them they will not come back
to impede us.
When we dissolve the concepts that we have about that thing,
the new about it can appear, and we can glimpse at what our essence understands
about that thatching. This is all because the mind in relation to that thing
has been made passive.
