Sporadic Posts Stretch - Retreat Stars and Banners - (3012)

Just to let you know, over the next three weeks starting from today, the posts will be very sporadic and if there are any they will most likely be hasty in quality. I'll be hopping over the Pacific in a flying kangaroo to take part in some retreats.

When the flying kangaroo hops us back over the Pacific and then over the nullarbor plain I'll get back into regular posting, hopefully with some interesting bights to share with you from the retreats.

A Retreat is a Spiritual Practice - (3011)

A relationship is really a spiritual practice. Any Gnostic worth his or her salt can see that.

The ideal is to relate essence to essence, transcending with the work, the personality and ego combinations in a  relationship.

When the relationship is essence to essence then we have the magic and marvellous case of two Monads relating.

A retreat is also a spiritual practice. Obviously as you can see from the previous post a retreat experience contains many egoical states that can be, through the work, cleaned and worked to be fresh and clear.

An Experience of a Retreat - (3010)

The experience of a retreat begins a few days before the actual start date, with a bit of a pinch. One begins to think: "I'll be travelling and I'll be at the retreat so my daily routine will be disrupted and I won't be able to do this and that...". Then naturally one begins to feel the effort involved in travelling and with a bit of freshly injected will and a refreshed positive attitude one feels happy to be going and the numerous benefits put a smile on one's face, just like the day we signed up to go.

The trip to the retreat venue is something novel and adventure like which is exciting. The travel to the destination has its exciting parts, its uncomfortable parts as well as its relaxing parts. It is not all excitement or discomfort but a series of states experienced in appropriately ordered stages.

The time comes that one then arrives at the retreat venue and a new flavour or atmosphere takes over. A little bit of uneasiness creeps in mixed with looking forward to the retreat and meeting good friends.

When meeting people one always may find that one comes into contact with one's un-worked concepts and mental representations...Time to work...

The first day of the retreat can be a bit of a mixture. More of a serious, and focused mood sets in and there sometimes can be a tinge of bitterness. Many manifestations of the "I's" that we have in our psyche arise in the mind and emotion. This is good as it steps up our focus a notch and makes us to begin to work these manifestations.

Maybe we have to pay for the chance to escape from our normal karmic line of payment - where our life's duties and hindrances would bear down upon us. The way we make this payment is with usually intense psychological and esoteric work or bitterness - always better to work hard when karma is around...

The second day is sweeter. This is when we enjoy the retreat. This is when the distractions subside and we begin to truly unite with the spirit of the retreat.

We come into the moment and our emotion changes to one of something very pleasant. We feel protected, whole, in harmony with everything, our mind clears and our internal vision lengthens and clears and our feeling of trust: in the work, in our essence and in others takes the foreground.

The main practical work lessons of the retreat are learnt by working through the bitter part of the retreat and the current of lessons in line with the retreat itself are learnt when we relax and harmonise.

The rest of the retreat flies by and on the last day we are already mentally on the plane and walking
through the door of our home or centre.

Have You Constructed Your Heart Temple in Your Conscious Imagination Yet? - (3009)

The Real Picture

There are several inner temples and it can all get a bit confusing.

There is the heart temple - a real inner temple residing in our heart centre. Where the atom Nous of the Being resides.

There is the temple in which the Being of a person receives when the person completes the first initiation. In this temple the Inner Being officiates. This temple, as I understand it is located outside of eh person in the internal worlds such as the astral world.

Then there is the generic inner temple, which is more of symbol than anything else, depicting the status of a Beings work of self-realisation.

Inner Temple as Symbol of a Being's Work

As we work, we either construct our inner temple or we restore our inner temple (fallen bodhisattva).

When a person falls and remains fallen over several lifetimes, due to neglect, the person's inner temple goes to ruin.

The work that we do and the Inner Being does on the esoteric path constructs or restores one's inner temple.

This inner temple is a symbol of the Being's work of self-realisation.

Heart Temple In Imagination

In Gnosis we do many practices withdrawing our attention within, to search for our inner Divine parents within our heart temple.

The means by which we travel within ourselves is by imagination and will, where belief is used as the will component.

It makes sense that we need to construct using our conscious imagination our heart temple. This is enormously useful, because if we do it we really develop our conscious power of imagining and we create something that we can easily and quickly seek refuge in.

When we create our heart temple in pour imagination it takes up a powerful presence within our inner space and then all the doors are open for us in the silence of the mind to meet one day our Divine Mother or Inner Being.

The clearer the heart temple is in our imagination the more effective the refuge will be, that we take in it.

We can develop our imagination so much so that what we imagine is as real as what we see with our eyes. Then what we see with our imagination can comfort us so much...

Imagination is a real special something within a human being...

Energy Accumulates According to the Activity - (3008)

Energy Accumulates that is What It Does

When we use energy it gets stored in our system.

A person who makes an effort to use their consciousness, will by virtue of these efforts will end up accumulating energy in their consciousness.

If a person sits all day and night that physical activity causes energy to get stored in their physicality which makes to sit more and more. That they get heavier and heavier putting on weight.

If a person exercises physically they accumulate energy in their muscles and other systems of the body that allow them to exercise in time for longer and for more intensity.

Important Point

So then we all have energy, and the important point is that it accumulates in us depending on the activities we undertake.

So then here is the key how the masters have so much energy in their consciousness and how they have all these powers. Because they accumulate vast quantities of energy in their psychological and esoteric systems and constitutions.

All the virtues, values, powers and faculties are accumulations of special types of energies.

The Value as Remedy to an "I" - (3007)

The value hidden in the entrails of any given "I" is the magic potion that remedies the ills of that very same "I".

So know the value and you have your magic potion.

With fear, I don't think I will ever get tired of saying that it is TRUST.

During the Melbourne retreat a missionary gave a talk and he recounted an experience that a truly wonderful master from Venezuela who has now sadly already disincarnated, told.

The experience went that in the astral this master faced a vicious dog, which was it turns out one of his own "I's" of lust. He fought the dog, however it only grew in size and fury. He then suddenly remembered the values inside of lust, such as: transmutation, love, wholeness, connection the Being etc. and he then began to chant HAM-SAH transmuting his sexual energy while remembering his inner Being. The dog then began to diminish in size and fury until it disappeared.

So then, I think that the best thing that we can do in the psychological work is to find the values, and then apply them as effective remedies as often as that appears.

You don't know how magical this really is inside of oneself until you do it. So please find the value and apply apply apply for you for you for you.

Develop Your Imagination - (3006)

Necessary

We can benefit so much from having a well developed imagination.

It helps us with our mystical practices and psychological practices. You don't know how much until you really develop your imagination more.

Mystical Work

You know the reason why so many of our mystical practices fizzle is because we lack concentration and imagination.

Imagination like concentration is an ability that we accumulate.

Our physical vision is really pale compared to the richness and clarity that we can develop our imagination to. In other words our imagination can be realer to us than what we see with our own eyes.

This is a rather large mug just in case you were wondering.
Photo taken at the Country Place, Dandenongs, Vic. (Easter Retreat venue display cabinets).

Psychological Work

With imagination we can construct the scene of any egoic manifestation and delve deep into the egoic state that we had, and extract some of the information about the ego under study that we lost the chance to capture during the manifestation.

Develop It

We develop our imagination by developing first of all the senses. Developing each sense one at a time.

So for the visual sense we start by looking at something and then recreating the image of the object in our imagination.

We have to practice and practice until we can hold it there for a few minutes. Then we can change the image as we please. Make the object fly, expand, contract, change colour and so on.

When we can do this for at least five minutes we have acquired a level of imagination that we can really do a proper mystical practice with.

Then we have to do the same with hearing, then touch, then smell and then taste. But not mixing seeing with any of the other senses. Imagine a sound with no image component, imagine a taste with no sound or image, imagine a tactile sensation with no image, sound or smell and imagine a taste with no smell, no image, no sound and no touch.

Then when we have developed all of these imaginations of the senses we can combine then all together and really we can be somewhere within ourselves and believe me our mystical practices then improve to a level you had not ever experienced before.

Work Gets Easier - (3002)

The work is really hard in the beginning. It is overwhelming and one so easily gets lost in all that has to yet to be done.

The path orders all of this work for the person.

However, with time and work as one begins to work down in size one's "I's", and the essence grows a little, one sees that the work gets easier.

This is because there is more free essence to understand the other "I's" and each "I" is connected to other "I's" and by working on "I" we also work on all the other "I's".

That is why working on the P.P.P is so critical.

End (3002).

Vision of God - (3001)

Do you know the vision of God that you have?

Your own vision of God is actually something important you know.

You really must know it, and know it in depth...

Real Value

It actually has a real value. To repeat, the vision of God that you carry inside of you has a real value.

Why you may ask. It is because this value creates a perspective (certain outlook) within you. This perspective then has a large influence in the way you take and respond to the events of life.

Your own vision of God sits as a backdrop in your psyche, forming a support upon which many psychological processes unfold.

Your vision of God influences your thoughts, your emotions and your actions.

Many Visions of God

There are really many visions of God. Actually there are as many different visions of God as there are people.

There are vast and infinite visions, there are narrower and more human visions, there are low visions and there visions of nothing.

There are visions tinged with pain and bitterness even hatred, and there are visions filled with awe, veneration and love.

Religion and the Vision of God

"A religion is only as great as its vision of God..."

Gnosis has an infinitely vast and ample vision of God. One that can never be embraced fully but one that will always leave one in total awe. Therefore the appreciation, veneration, love will never expire in the essence...

Vision Determines Feeling

Sometimes students say they feel nothing at all towards their Divinity (Real Being). This "not feeling anything" has a lot to do with their particular vision...

I asked a person living on the street once about God and he replied "#$%^ God, He never did anything for me, why should I @#%& care".

Really though, as m.m.m commented, this man living on the street really loves God, but his love that he once felt for God has inverted into hatred, and before the Absolute - the Great Oneness which is beyond relativity and duality, this hatred is the same as love.

If your vision of God is that He is a servant to you, well then you will always be proud and bitter and never in awe. You will never humble yourself in awe before God and neither will you happily work to serve God.

A God that is infinite, vast and powerful and one that we are all within, is getting closer to the appropriate vision, one that Gnosis itself supports. As this makes God infinite yet there is still much possibility that the human being can approach this mystery with more and more acquaintance - step by step.

AIN - Legimate Nothing - (3005)

Ain in Hebrew means - nothing.

That to me makes a lot of sense. Why? Because before there is anything or before there is creation of any kind there is nothing.

Nothing has to be the true and legitimate origin of creation. The true source of everything is nothing - the no-thing. The non-entity. The 'nothing' is really that which will not ever change and will always be.

End (3005).

Trust has to do with Clairvoyance - (3004)

When a person truly trusts, a kind of clairvoyance accompanies the person.

This makes sense because with a true state of trust one knows and can see in a wide an open way that will unfold will be ok.

Fear the very opposite of trust, is a state that lacks this open and wide vision. There is vision but it is very narrow and distorted to the point of being false. This vision is not clairvoyance it is rather fantasy.

There straight away we have a key to work on fantasy. The vision of fantasy is so very very narrow. If we blow up that narrow vision of fear, the same fear retreats a surprising amount.

Menorah - Tree of Life and Added Insight - (3003)

History

Within the tradition of Kabbalah it is said that the first form of the "Tree of Life"was the Menorah or the candelabra of seven candles. It is said that it was Moses who first brought the tree of life to the people in the form of the Menorah. It is said that Moses chose the format of the Menorah because the people were largely illiterate.

If we superimpose the menorah over a tree of life diagram you'll be able to see how the main features of the menorah match up with the various Sephiroth of the tree of life.

The base of the menorah represents Malcuth and the very middle candle holder represents Kether. The three candle holders to the right represent the Sephiroth on the right hand side of the Tree of Life, namely: Chockmah, Chesed and Netzah. The candle holders on the left represent the Sephiroth of the left hand side of the Tree of Life, namely: Binah, Geburah and Hod.

The Sephiroth on the middle line of the Tree of Life are represented by the three joining nodes on the Menorah. The top joining node is Daath, the middle joining node is Tipereth and the bottom joining node is Jesod.

Insights on Malcuth

After this explanation we can quite easily see how the Menorah is really a version of the tree of life.

The Menorah version of the Tree of Life actually allows us some new insights into the tree of life which are not as forthcoming as from the tree of life diagram that we know in these modern times.

Looking at the menorah the most important part is the base right? If the base is broken or cracked the whole menorah will topple over. This shows us how important Malcuth is. The fall only occurs here in Malcuth, not in Hod, Netzah or Binah but here in Malcuth. Also from here in Malcuth - the base, the rest of the tree is fed. The bodies of Hod, Netzah and Tipereth are made here in Malcuth as well. Also all the forces, energies and influences from Sephira in the Tree of Life all condense down into Malcuth. It is the only Sephira that affects all others and collects from all others.

Death in the Details - (3000)

There are many details of the egos in which a person can die in.

One such small detail which quite often turns into big trouble for us: is reading into things.

There comes a time when it is part of the death of an ego to really die in that detail of “reading into things”.

That's right knowing that they are there and dying to them.

To read into things means that we allow the mind to bring up the past and draw similarities and make assumptions and suppositions about how a person is feeling or why.

To die in that detail means to stop the mind quickly and definitely and ask the Divine Mother for her help to dissolve that “I” straight away.

Important Important Anger Anger - (2995)

The sense of importance leads to anger, mostly when some kind of an obstacle is present. Before anger appears, the sense of importance comes from pride.

If you are doing something important, watch out for anger, because if an obstacle appears, anger could also appear.

Constantly question that sense of 'importance'. Sometimes we get it really wrong.
What seems important is not and what we don't take as important is really important.

It is a wise measure to renounce the sense of importance while we are doing things. Like getting to the airport for example. Just concentrate on getting there not worrying about how important it is. We can always say to ourselves if we miss the flight ok, there is a solution, we'll catch the next flight - it is not that important that we lose some control and get all flustered and scold others when there is a solution.

Renouncing that sense of importance really reduces stress.

Create a Fortified Sanctuary - (2998)

This is something useful. Through practices and discipline create a sanctuary for yourself, where you can isolate yourself from impressions, where you can quieten the worries, the bothersome thoughts, quell the inferior emotions...

Your fortified sanctuary upon entering and spending time there allows or facilitates you going deep inside yourself. It is a place or a time where you can revitalise and draw much needed wisdom and solace.

Cross the bridge into your sanctuary and leave behind all cares, worries, thoughts
of life and enter into peace within yourself to touch your light to search, to find,
to know, to comprehend, to renew, to strengthen, to love...
When you have this sanctuary created you can tell yourself when experiencing a difficult moment, "it doesn't matter, I'll be in my sanctuary soon and all will be fine, I will relax, become quiet, feel well, draw wisdom and breathe solace, and I will solve everything".

This sanctuary could just be practising meditation at a certain time of the day where you feel most relaxed, at peace, united, strong etc. Or it could be in a room of the house that you enter and close the door behind you, or it could be waking up very early in the morning and going to the beach or a park and meditating, praying and walking mindfully before the sun has risen. It could be while driving to work alone in your car even, or an hour alone in your room before going to work, or at work in the stairwell during break.

The thing is that you consecrate that space and time as your fortified sanctuary. This is what makes the difference. This is what really makes it different and magic for you.

We Take Things All Relative to A Debt or a Lack - (2997)

Whenever we receive an impression, we often automatically take it relative to our psychological debts and psychological lacks.

It is really true that we feel very hurt when we have already have a psychological debt with a person and the same person makes some uncalled for remarks. We always tend to take those comments in relation to the particular nature of the debt. I mean by this, that if they have verbally criticised us before and we felt hurt, we will take whatever they emit as a cristicism and feel hurt as per the psychological debt. If we did not have a psychological debt registered in our system then we would not feel so hurt, we would be more like stunned or shocked, but not really hurt. We feel hurt, rebellious, defiant, angry because of the debt.

Another very coarse example is that we see a nice house we feel 'low' because we take that impression relative to our psychological lack of needing or wanting a house etc. due to feeling insecure, not having enough etc. etc.

In the end we have to work to heal and cancel the debts within us. A way to do it, is to renounce the value that was taken or not returned. If it was our good will that they disregarded, then we must  work to renounce receiving the impression of having our good will noticed, acknowledged, understood and respected etc. or reciprocated.

Also forgiveness and pardon are another way to heal and cancel psychological debts. Forgive the person who hurt you.

End (2997).

Psychological Anatomy of Debt - (2996)

Any Debt

How do people incur any kind of debt? There are two ways that people incur debts.

One way is when we give somebody something and the other person does not pay it back. The other way is when a person takes something from us without returning it or compensating for its loss.

That is also exactly how we create psychological debts - via the above two ways.

Psychological Debt

To create a psychological debt in ourselves, something psychological has to be taken from us and not returned, or we give something psychological to someone and it is not returned psychologically.

For example, when our dignity is taken from us we create a psychological debt within us that works to later take the same amount of dignity back from the other person. When a piece of respect for our public image is taken from us we create a debt. When we have worked hard and have given our time, good will, effort, attention and it is not acknowledged we can create a psychological debt. When our sense of fairness is not satisfied we create psychological debts.

So then to not create psychological debts we need to stop giving and start giving. What? That's right we need to reverse the order.

Less and Less Psychological Debts

Stop giving psychologically in the situation where things are not returned or paid back to us, and start giving when things are taken from us.

Ok but how?

Do things for others with no expectation. Don't give anything where we want a result or compensation or reciprocation from the person. Renounce any kind of result before before doing anything.

When things are taken from us, then give them, renounce the thing that has been taken from us, that we are now deciding to give. This not only applies to physical things, like money, a pen, a USB drive etc. but to psychological things. So if we feel love is taken from us where we feel because another does not reciprocate it we can't love any more, then we have to renounce to the idea that we have lost love and still retain some love in our heart for ourselves. Self-remembering helps here because love comes from the essence and so we never lose love.

Ego Elimination Notes - (2994)

Introduction

The sense of invalid efforts or of an invalid day accompanied by a tinge of anxiousness or restlessness is our essence telling us tat we must do something that counts.

In our current state what counts more than the elimination of the ego?

Master Samael says that any spiritual attempt that does not take into account the dissolution of the ego is doomed to fail. So our spiritual attempts of the day to be worthy must take into account the dissolution of the ego.

Working on the elimination of any ego soothes that anxious and hollow like feeling.

Divine Mother - Prayer, KRIM and Imagination

Praying to the Divine Mother, the mantra KRIM and imagination is a powerful combination when it comes to the dissolution of the ego.

Seeing eh ego we want dissolved and seeing it in our imagination becoming weaker and seeing the equanimity that ensures is a good use of our imagination.

As we work on dissolution the ego becomes gradually smaller and less and less harmful.

One day it gets so small and harmless that it is like a baby. Strangely enough we can feel a touch sentimental about it and stop in dissolution. The essence that the ego contains is so much more beautiful and valuable that we must press on seeking out its total dissolution.

Freed Essence

The essence recently freed from the ego is very weak and needs treatment. It is very groggy.

Our Divine Mother along with our efforts provide the newly freed essence with this treatment.

Our effort lies in forgetting the ego and using the virtues of the essence to solve the situations where that ego would have normally appeared.

The recently freed essence will find its way back to union with the body of free essence we have.

The recently freed essence needs to be awakened, when it is awakened it will shed completely any memory of the conditioning it has been subjected to for years, while in the bottle of the ego.

Dying

When the ego is dying or has died, as natural as can be, we no longer despair, cry, worry, fret, get upset, become agitated and tense, where we use to before. Now in those circumstances we feel balanced and remain in a state of equanimity.

To protect ourselves from temptation we need the death of the ego. Nothing protects better than the dissolution of the ego.

When tempted and the ego is dying we just don't feel like it and lose interest very quickly.

Ego: a Shell, Structure, Form which Traps a Fragment of Essence

The ego is nothing more than a container of a fraction of essence. It is a shell or a bottle. When we pray to the Divine Mother she breaks the shell so that the free essence can escape.

The ego then is an astral, mental and causal kind of crystallisation. It is a astral, mental and causal  structure or form made from atoms of those dimensions. In other words it is a molecular structure.

The Divine Mother Being an electronic force is able to separate those atoms of the molecular structure.

The recently freed essence contains invaluable information about how and how it became trapped in the ego. In other words it has valuable information abut the secret enemy which the free essence uses to increase its depth of understanding of the ego - the 'myself'.

If we want something new to develop in us or be born in us, something must die first of all.

Cosmic Sense - Universal Sense - Mystical Way - (2993)

Big Picture Goes Click

For some people seeing the big picture makes things really 'click'. While others seem to be ok without seeing the cosmic and universal reasons for things.

If you are a cosmic, universal, 'big picture' person then Gnosis does offer such an angle to see spirituality from. It can also give us the cosmic sense of things and cosmic reasons for the why of the self-realisation and the various other aspects of esotericism.

In fact certain aspects can only be understood fully when we see them from the cosmic point of view. One such topic is the Divine Mother.

So Many Ways of Mysticism

There are so many ways of mysticism, for some reason some ways don't quite fit with us and so no problem we must find the way that does. There is a way for us. For each person there is a way.

The great thing about Gnosis is that it is not focused on just one way, it presents many ways for the student to chose. There are many ways through which we can focus the Being - that is see and contemplate God.

Find Your Way Help Yourself and Help Others

When you have found your way you have found something truly valuable to you. Hold onto it and seek the Being through it, don't put so much time on the other ways, but above all respect those ways.

Obviously, having found your way will lead you to express your way and others you also like that way will be attracted to you and will be able to find their way through you. Even those you are not of the same way will be able to know through you that that is not their way. So finding our way helps all round.

End (2993).

Egoic Imagination Looked Into - (2992)

There are several egos that use our imagination so spontaneously and with such ease.

When we want to consciously use our imagination we find it tedious. It feels tedious because it requires more will to concentrate and it also requires organisation - a logical coherence in the sequence of images that we imagine.

The ego uses the imagination to project a memory, then it puts an emotion on top of that image. The image is just a flash but the emotion lasts longer.

It is like the ego acts on the image or uses the image to extend its emotion.

Egos that like to use the imagination this way are anger, lust, envy, resentment to name some of the big ones.

The ego just flashes up images without coherence and its will is to superimpose existing emotions onto it, which is really the opposite of conscious imagination.

We need to really control our imagination. If we can do that we can understand more how the ego works, and what it really wants. We think that the ego wants something external but what it really wants is its own expression.

This is a terrific realisation, because if the ego just wants itself, then the essence itself through self-remembering can fill what is missing.

Better than Ceiling Staring - (2991)

To wake up in the morning and promptly get out of bed is much better for a person in all the senses than to just stay in bed looking at the ceiling and thinking.

You just don't feel any better as the minute hand moves, your mind does become any clearer, your problems are no closer to being resolved or solved, the tasks of the day await, the help that our Divine Mother can give us slips away as we our consciousness gets duller and duller the more we think.

When we do get up promptly and do something, we feel so much better and then we realise that the feeling of being comforted, being protected, solving and sorting out stuff etc. when we are lying in bed looking at the ceiling is really a false feeling - a good old trick of our egos.

It feels a little uncomfortable to get up but what we can do about that, it is nature, everything good has price or requires some effort. The discomfort quickly passes though. Especially the more one is accustomed to do it!

People who get depressed for a while, just stay in bed for large parts of the day. Doing that does not really help matters. Because the ego behind it all stays in its belief that in bed we are protected and are sorting things out in our interior. What we really need to do is to slowly and gently convince that ego or part of our subconscious that by getting up and by saying 'hi' to the day that the day is not going to harm us, we are still alive, and that slowly nicely we can sort things out by being in the day and not being being in darkness in bed.

The light heals the psyche, the darkness stagnates the psyche's healing.

The best is to get out of bed and practice a few runes, sit back down and concentrate, clear the mind with vigilance, then pray. Charge up forces with prayer and then work in the psychological death.

This strengthens us, clears us and activates us positively for the day.

The best thing that we can do for ourselves is to create a practice routine that in our particular way or nature sets us up well for the day and leads to awaken and die in ourselves.

Even at the very least getting up promptly and making a cup of coffee and staring out the window at the garden is better than staying in bed looking at the ceiling and thinking.

Confetti Mental Plans, Your Yearnings Now! - (2990)

For a while it just has to be done now.

Whatever our yearnings are, we have to work on them right now.

Whatever it may be now is the time. We have to be inventive that's all to adapt ourselves to use the events of our day to serve as a means for us to work towards our yearnings.

Waiting for the right time of day just doesn't work out. Because that time of the day is in the mind, not in your actual real day, and because it is in the mind, it it never feels right and never comes...

That's why I say confetti with the mind's plans to work and use the now to work.

Defining Moments - (2989)

There are those defining moments now and then.

When we have been sitting on the fence past the due time, a defining moment appears. It can come in the form of a tough question, a remark, a comment, an argument, a request, an order, a commitment, an opportunity, a dispute...

The objective of such a moment is to make us decide. That is define ourselves for one side or the other. If we are already relatively defined it would be to define ourselves further to take deeper steps forward or to stay put and slowly with time slide back little by little.

Anyhow, these moments always appear, the more we work, the more intimate and less physically noticeable in nature these moments become. However, when we work less, these moments can be a little rough, a little "in your face" type of thing.

Ultimately though, these moments are something orchestrated by our interior with the design that we take a step further towards the same interior force that orchestrated the moment.

Ask for Help then Practice - (2988)

If we ask for help from any other source for our internal difficulties, we tend to think that we can sit back and relax and just wait. Sometimes yes, that is true but that is not really the norm. The norm is that we ask for help and then we go to work, and the help that we ask for will come through the efforts and practices that we do.

Usually when we ask for help with regards to external things that we can not control or influence the approach: "wait and see" apply. But for internal things the formula: "ora et labora" applies.

Dealing with Sarcastic Comments - (2987)

Sarcastic comments can cause some disturbances in our psychology, in the way of activating pride and anger and producing a nasty reaction or an inner explosion.

Being alert an hour ago while receiving some sarcastic comments directed my way, I discovered what causes the reaction in us. We react because we take the comments relative to our perception of the person's psychology. That is, in simple terms we see that they have something against us and we react to that. That is, answer relative to our perception of the person. We think they dislike us so we dislike them - the usual mechanical "hit back".

Being aware, we can choose from which background we will generate our response to the comments from.

The best background our essence tells us is to see the comments in ourselves, relative to what we think about the general comment, forgetting about the person. Then we don't react. We can also go to the grounds of philosophy which is something neutral and then generate our response. Which often has the effect of disarming the other person.

If we are in the remembering of the Being we wont react. Because we will automatically be taking everything from within ourselves - from within the grounds of the essence.

Self- Defeatism - Not Good Enough! - (2986)

Sometimes we just feel that we can't do the work, that we are not cut out for it or that we are just not strong, intelligent or profound etc. enough to really do it. We are just a peaceful, good, wispy fairy.

You know, that the above statement is what the ego of self-defeatism sets up in our mind and emotions. Sorry but my experience shows me that.

Whether we are a wispy fairy or not in reality, is a totally different matter! The ego and reality are two different things. We have a choice to make, which do we believe.

How many times already have we felt we can not do something but in the end we did?

The ego of defeatism is in its own world and based on comparison or certain impressions its gets the feeling going in us that we are not enough etc. etc.

We shouldn't forget the Being in all of this. Is the Being within us not enough to realise itself? What do you honesty reckon the answer to this question is? If you say that the Being is not enough then ask why? What does it lack then? What do we really know about our Being to say that it is not enough for Itself?

What matters is heart and persistence. Believe in these two values instead of the turkey ego thinking and feeling that we are not enough to do the work!

Some Things We Can't Do - The Being or Something High Up and Deep Within Us Does It - (5363)

There are some psychological blocks (huge egos) that we just can't overcome by ourselves. We think we can but in actual fact we don;t really. And frankly speaking these things make certain areas of our life grind to a stand still. In fact we can stay still in those areas for our whole life and even for several or more lives.

Because we are working on ourselves some how the situation is different. The Being or essence or I don't know who or what does something to shift those egos so that we can take a few steps forward.

All that we know is that without that help we would not have been able to have taken those few steps.

This shows any person that the Being or essence of something high and deep within us wants something though and out of our life.

Get Over Annoyance Quickly - (2985)

The best thing to do is to get over annoyance as quick as we can because it only builds if we don't do something about it.

Then it becomes too big for us to handle and we have to vent it, and we explode irrationally, which can be catastrophic.

We (identified essence) in the heat of the moment don't like to overcome our annoyances, but it is the best thing that we can do for ourselves is to drop it and go with the flow of events.

Don't Forget that we Have a Sexuality! - (2984)

Sexual Centre

So we have a sexual centre with its various functions. Magnetism being one of them. Master Samael says that it is also a centre of gravitation. Where it causes many events (social), activities, ideas, feelings etc. to gravitate around it, on many different levels.

So those properties are always there, but it depends on our level of being and the egos present in our human machine as to how these properties get used. If there is a high level of the Being the activities are decent and refined, if the level of the being is low the activities can be indecent etc.

Lust

Lust and its "I's" are really egos of sexuality. If we did not have a sexual centre or we did not have sexual energy we would not feel any inkling towards anyone. The sexual centre, sexual energy and our state of consciousness regarding sex make up our sexuality. This is what really determines everything.

The egos use our sexual centre and our sexual energy and the egos of lust are the ones that have sexual goals or functions at their centre. Like the typical guy after working on a mine site for two weeks or more goes to a pub on a Friday or Saturday night looking to find someone. It is his lust operating or trying to manage his sexuality using that mode. Whereas, he could if he had some inner knowledge manage it differently using transmutation and other means.

We Have a Sexuality - Don't Forget That

We forget to relate to our own sexuality. We forget that we have to know it, value it, manage it, know how it affects us, transform it and many other things as well. Normally people forgetting themselves forget that they have a sexuality, meaning they forget that their intentions and impulses etc. come from them and they then say things like that person is so this and so that and they feel various impulses that they may not be aware of but what happens is that the various "I's" of lust take those impulses and they can do things that they perhaps regret. In conclusion, when we forget we have a sexuality we blame the other person, like a guy blames a lady for his lewd comments saying that she was so provocative etc.etc.

Analogy to the Stomach

It is just the same thing that happens when we forget that we have a stomach. When we remember that we have a stomach we look after it, we feed it the right foods that it can handle and we take responsibility for it. We make sure that it does not get sick and we control its appetites so that what we put into it does not adversely affect the rest of the body and then therefore our life which will affect our spirituality as well.

End (2984).

Why do we get so Annoyed? - They are Not Wrong - (2983)

A person spills their coffee, drops their keys, coughs up their drink, walks funny, doesn't hear properly, doesn't understand, the list goes on...

When we get annoyed we have in our subconscious background that they are wrong. This subconscious feeling of wrong is mixed with other perceptions like they are stupidly wrong, wilfully wrong, or ignorantly wrong, wrong with ill-will etc. in short - wrong in all sorts of combinations.

The thing is that they are not wrong though! They may be technically wrong - true, they clumsily dropped the same spoon three times, but they are not really wrong in themselves for doing that are they? They honestly are not wrong for doing that! They just couldn't hold the spoon, or if they did it on purpose they did it for psychological reasons that they were sincere about and they were doing something right for them even if it was wrong.

Understanding this that they are not wrong, really helps like nothing else. So much so that it can really drop  all sorts of annoyances.

Repentance as the Deliverance to Elimination - (2982)

Before repentance is comprehension.

Repentance is an octave of comprehension - a deeper state of comprehension.

Repentance is the deep understanding of the error of an ego and of the ego as a whole. The latter kind of repentance is much deeper and encompassing.

In repentance, one's comprehension permits one to understand deeply the role and function the ego plays.

One also knows why this ego plays this role, and how it is come over the years to play this role and fulfil its function.

With repentance one begins to see the ego as having little value, and what is of a more vital and greater value is the essence and the Inner Divinity.

For example, with the ego of self-love one always values receiving love. But with repentance one has come to understand that this is an huge unbalance (an error) and that the real love for oneself is the one that by giving receives and by giving enhances the essence within one as well as the essence in the other. One values this love more than anything other kind of love and one wants this love and this love does not produce pain.

In repentance one is very tired of the pain of the ego and no longer wants it and that alone makes the person to operate in life without that ego, using the essence and its qualities instead.

One in repentance can feel very sorry for the harm that the ego has done and the debts it has incurred, especially if that ego has done some rough things to others and oneself or one's interior Divinity.

Repentance is a power that opens one up totally to paying the karma associated with that ego. One is so willing with strong will and love in the heart to take responsibility for the errors done and to pay the karma.

Repentance as a final sum makes the ego dead to ourselves. We have made it redundant and we have exiled it out of our life and we have paid our dues.

Then it is so logical that the next step is elimination. Which occurs very quickly because the Divine  Mother is so energised and fully equipped and authorised by the Divine Law to eliminate that ego.

With repentance we deliver the ego into the hands of the divine Mother as harmless child.

End (2982).

Ocean Reciprocates - (2981)

If we send our love to nature, and we give our good will, our attention and care, this does not go to waist. That part of nature will reciprocate in a real way, tangibly, or invisibly through experiences.

Here is an example of how such a wonderful return in the way of nourishment, as fresh as can be landed in my lap without any effort.

Thanks Adrian - what a beauty!
These creatures are really so impregnated as we would expected with the freshness and energy of the ocean. Eating them the day they are caught fills the person up with the ocean prana that seems to above all to go to the brain, energising it.

It seems that the western rock lobsters as they are called here, take some of the ocean's vitality and transforms it, somehow instilling into itself a tiny tiny bit of the ocean's essence. Because when you eat it you really feel the ocean, your imagination fires with ocean images, you get a glimpse of the ocean's essence, that is through your senses and instinctive psychic perception.

Even nature reciprocates. Nothing goes unpaid for. If we have the merit of love that love can provide many things for us. To not have love is to be poor internally and later on - externally also.

End (2981).

Flow of Life - (2980)

That is all there is in life - a flow.

Life is a flow, and soon as the flow stops we shift to another flow on another level. There is a flow right through every level of creation.

We even have a flow in our own mind - the flow of thoughts which moves by association and is discursive. We are very comfortable with that flow, we can spend hours flowing around our own mind in that flow.

View from my sitting rock at Trigg.
The there is the flow of our essence which is the flow of life streaming out from our Inner Being. That flow is the one we often resist to jump into and we go against with the many egos that we have.

When we are defined as essence and to be essence we can trust the flow of our life (events and happenings etc.), because it will be more and more streamed from our Inner Being. Sometimes intensely for a short while, then left to our essence and then directed and then left for a long while.

End (2980).

Why we Have this and That "I" - (2979)

There are many answers and explanations, this is just another which may coincide with what you have heard, been taught or discovered for own.

We have this or that "I" because we have along the ay forgotten about the essence and its abilities and qualities, and above it's individuality. Basically all due to a lack of self-remembering.

We have lust because we have forgotten about our own sexuality. We have forgotten that we have a sexuality, and it is because of this sexuality that we are attracted, it is not because of the other person. we forget that we have to relate to our sexuality then to other person. We just forget that, and go blundering in, all clumsy and stupid trying to relate with the other person, and of course making the stupidest errors in the process.

With anger, we forget that we have intelligence and patience in our essence through we can solve the issue. we forget that our consciousness is the best problem solver there is. we have fear because we have forgotten our essence and our Being. We hold onto the mind as being the bastion of our security, and so we resist the flow of life, we resist to jump into it and flow with it.

The same applies to all the egos.

End (2979).

Shown and Taught Slowly Through Imagination - (2978)

Sometimes we want to how a certain series of future events will play out.

This pertains to the realm of imagination. That is, the realm of seeing. We can be very apprehensive because we can't imagine how things will unfold and we will deal with what unfolds.

Before we enter into a series of events we can be slowly shown through our imagination how things more or less will be, but more importantly how we will be able to think, feel and conduct ourselves to better manage or solve the difficulties that could arise during those events.

Perhaps this comes from our own essence or our inner Divinity, I am not sure but it is a interesting thing that is very helpful and as it does unfold it really takes away a lot of apprehension and worries.

So then as a conclusion then, we can ask our Divine Mother to put things into our imagination about how those future series of events or possible events will unfold and how I can deal with them. Don't expect the spectacular, it will come to you very naturally, so naturally that yo won't even notice it, it will feel like it is you working it out. But it is really magic, but a magic transformation has taken place inside of you. What really made you scared and worried, sets you at ease because you have worked out how it will be and you see that you can deal with it reasonably well.

End (2978).
