Flavour of Yourself - (3827)

Liberate yourself for a bit!


When you psychologically sense yourself, that sense of yourself, that flavour of yourself has to be of consciousness. Well you know it doesn't have to be but for something new and fresh and more conscious, and liberating it is worth a try.


That conscious flavour is void: of any sense sensations, any psychological taste of a sensation, any memory of a sensation, any emotional flavour, and any mental thought about yourself, just free unconditioned awareness. That's liberating for as long as we can maintain it - which is not too long. But we try.


This gives a flavour of what unconditioned consciousness means and what it feels like. Even the way we look at ourselves is conditioned. The past, our sufferings, our ideas about ourselves all condition this conscious experience of ourselves, which is really... limiting.



To do this is to feel free, and the good thing about this is, we can see others that way too. They are not their face, nor bad breath, or funny taste in food or nationality, no, no, none of that, they are just like us, the same free consciousness without any flavour of the senses, mind or emotions. 


Then to relate consciousnesses to consciousness with anybody who can do that, is something totally new, undiscovered, a deep never ending mystery. With the personality to personality way of relating, everything is known and is about clashing and differing, liking and agreeing certainly not a unknown mystery of constant discovery, understanding and renewal.
