Study Points for the Aligning of the Three Brains - (4980)

Point One

We are weak where our three brains are not aligned. This is because we are divided. We are together and whole, where our three brains are aligned. This is because we are not divided.

Question: In which area of life are our three brains not aligned?

Answer: In the area where we experience inner conflict and later on as a result of the inner conflict we experience external conflict as a result.

Aligning our three brains in this area will bring a definite solution or big improvements.

Question: Where are we strongest and or happiest?

Answer: Where our three brains are aligned. The consciousness naturally aligns the three brains.

Point Two

Alignment of the three brains brings the consciousness.

The consciousness is not present obviously when we our three brains are not aligned with what we are doing. When we align our three brains we create a powerful condition for the consciousness to appear.

The different states of misalignment of tthe hree brains that us human beings can get ourselves into are incoherent, illogical even absurd at times. Illogical, incoherent and absurd is not of the consciousness.

The misalignemnt of the three brains does not bring any quality result.

Point Three

Alignment of the three brains equals definition.

When we are defined for something, it is because that something has enterd into our three brains and our three brains all agree and are all onboard to contribute their part.

Point Four

A value can enter the consciousness once it enters the three brains. That is once the three brains are aligned with the value.

We ultiamtely want the noble values of the spirit to be in our consciousness and then in our Inner Being. We start doing that by instilling them into our three brians and then aligning our three brians with them.

Point Five

Mystical death is successful when it enters the three brains. That is, when the three brains are aligned with it.

That is when each brain wants to die psycholocially and knows their part of how to contriute to the death of any given "I".

Point Six

We don't learn anything when our three brains are not aligned.

One brain may be onboard and that brain performs ok, but because of the lack of alignment we easily forget what we learnt. Because our consciousness was not present. Our consciousness comes to be present when our three brains are aligned.

Even if the consciousness is not fully present, just the fact of the three brains being aligned means that the three brains will learn and that is better than just one learning and the other two not. Please note, each brain pays attention and so each brain can learn.

Aligning the Three Brains - (4978)

Introduction

This post is some notes about aligning the three brains.

The practice of aligning the three brains is a great teaching, that makes a big difference in the quality of living consciously and of being present.

Notes

The practice of aligning the three brains from moment to moment, is a practice of the fourth man.

When we align the three brains in any given moment, we give ourselves the chance to awaken.

The three brains can be aligned voluntarily and this can only be done by our consciousness.

Our three brains can also be aligned unconsciously. This occurs when the ego is in the human machine.

The ego becomes so strong in a person when the three brains are aligned with it.

Any person with their three brians aligned is very strong - because they are unified.

The consciousness can align the three brains.

To align the three brains, is the first step to being fully 'ourselves' as possible.

When we align the three brains, we activate the Law of Three.

The Law of Three is activated because of all three brains being activated in and for the task. However, for another reason as well, which is as follows:

When we decide upon a task we activate the Holy Affirming (first force), then as we work on the task all that would hinder or interfer with the task appears. By not being distracted by these hinderances, we activate the Holy Denying (second force). By resolving the hinderances and carrying on, or simply by learning from them, we activate the Holy Reconciling (third force).

If we don't align the three brains, we get distracted very easily and we go with the next desire, impulse, or call from nature and life. Consequently, we don't give ourselves the chance to activate any of the three forces, much less the powerful Law of Three.

As we know well it is the three forces working together that create a result. The Law of Three CREATES and all we want is to create a result.

So aligning the three brains activates the Law of Three which creates something, or brings a result.

To focus, we must align the three brains.

To concentrate effectively, we must align the three brains.

To meditate effectively, we must align the three brains.

To align the three brains is the first task in the work of achieving unity.

To align the three brains is a work of accepting reality.

To accept reality means to accept the real, and the 'real' in us comes from the Real Being in us. God is reality.

To be at war with reality is to suffer. We are at war when our three brians are not aligned.

When we align the three brains we can observe with clarity, the activities and functions of all the centres as well where the boundaries of their orbits lie.

When we task the centres with what they should be doing, we can so much easier see the effects of when they are not onboard, or they are functioning outside their orbit.

An avenue to die in ourselves opens up when we align the three brains. This is becasue we can die in all that wishes to disrupt the conscious alignment of our centres.

Aligning the three brains gives us the access point for our consciousness to be present.

Same Problems and Dramas from Past Lives Repeat this Life - (4977)

It is really amazing to see how exactly the same we are from one life to the next.

We are so much the same that all the dramas and problems we are facing in this life right now, that seem so unique, important and 'special' we went through them in previous lives.

To see our past lives is an awakening and consciously shocking experience for anyone.

One thing that we can see is the reason why we have the karmic debts that we have.

To our horror it could be that still in this life we are doing things that are perpetuating those karmic debts.

It is exactly like Master Samael says, that it is not the people, circumstances or situations, environment, work place of this life that are the cause of our dramas and problems, it is the same "I's" that we have that we carry with us from life to life.

Justice of the Intimate Christ - (4976)

The Intimate Christ brings justice within us and to our Father within.

I have asked myself many times how can He bring justice when He allows others to trample Him?

How can we bring justice when the Christic force "turns the other cheek", faces with pleasure the unpleasant manifestations of our fellow man and is persecuted and hit for doing good to others?

He may not do justice among men but certainly within a person and for the Father that dwells within in secret, He certainly does.

By facing the unpleasant manifestations of our fellowmen with pleasure He honours and glorifies the Father within. He causes the karmic debts to be washed away and builds ever stronger the values and virtues of the Father within us, so that these values and virtues are made so firm that they triumph over all external and inner adversity - thus bringing justice to the Father.

The justice of the Intimate Christ is internal and it is by the very nature of Its work that It brings justice to the Father.

Find Our Intimate Christ - (4975)

Meditate from the outside in... is a good start. Follow the foundations of Gnosis which say to always look within.

After relaxing body and mind, some what we have heard and read about the Christ comes to mind.

The beautiful words of Master Samael about the Cosmic Christ, which read something to the effect of: 'The Cosmic Christ never abandons those who try and suceed, those who try and fail and those who never try', the many scenes from the life of Jesus as found in the Bible, the image of Master Samael taking the form of the cross exclaimimg: "Long live the Christ!" while giving his lecture about the Revolutionary Christ, the Compassion of Avalokiteshvara in OM MANI PADME HUM, the invocations done in the name of the Christ, the Alchemical significance of Christmas and even some of the words and scenes as harsh and confusing as they are, such as the procession of the cross, the three nails, the crucifixion, the tears and lamentations of Mary, the resurrection...

How the combination of this touches the essence and moves the heart, for something new to appear in our understanding...

What is important and will always be, is to find our Intimate Christ within. In the same spirit how Master Samael said: 'what good is it, if the Chirst is not born in our own heart'.

Where do we find the Intimate Christ within us? How can we make a connection?

Perhaps in a dream, in an image revealed by our consciousness? In a hymm? In prayer? Yes true, in all of these things, and also in recognising the living force of sacrifice and the Holy Denying within us.

As the Cosmic Christ is ever present in the Universe, in the air we breathe, in our blood and in our sexual energy as the prana, so is our Intmate Christ present in every moment...

When we sacrificed, when we stopped a desire, when we transformed a negative internal state, when we held back critcal words, when we sacrificed our pain and offered it up for transformation... There was the Intiamte Christ!

Where did that strength and intelligence come from to go against all the odds and do that?

It came from our Intimate Christ, alive within us, sent from high above within us and moved from the very fibres of Its nature to help us.

The mission of the Son, the Intimate Christ is to unify all within the Father. That is to bring all the fractioned pieces of essence back to unity within the Father.

To love the Intimate Christ is to be conscious of his mission and to co-operate with Him. To cooperate with love for Him, with love for His mission and with love the Father is realte really well with our Intimate Chirst.

Here and now, to co-operate with His mission means to align our centres with his role. Especially our emotional centre...

Sacrificing the "I" within us knowlingly and with love we align with Him and we augment His presence within us.

This is how we can make the Intimate Christ within us grow so that one day His birth within our heart will come true.

Principle of Unity Class Notes - (4974)

Introduction

The following notes were taken during a class given by m.m.m.

Notes

The Being finds Its ultimate reality in the principle of unity.

Ascending we unify and in falling we disperse and become multiple.

Integration and unity is a Christic principle.

Every self-realised Monad is a coherent, integrated and unified structure.

When a Monad passes well beyond the possibility of falling, that Monad can create a path or a system of teachings and practices to traverse the way back from creation to the Absolute.

The Christic force within us is in charge of sacrifice and service. When the Intimate comes close to us it is often to inspire us to sacrifice and service.

Often service and sacrifice means some kind of pain and suffering.

We have to learn to not associate our Intimate Christ with pain and suffering.

The Third Logos - the Holy Ghost polarises itself into masculine and feminine - that is into the two sides of sexuality.

The result of the union of the two unfoldings of the Third Logos is Kether.

The Third Logos has a representation in AIN, the second Logos in AIN SOPH and Kether in the AIN SOPH AUR.

Why does Kether have a representation in AIN SOPH AUR? Because the AIN SOPH AUR is the closest to Kether, who is already present in creation.

The liberated will can create new circumstances. The condition to use our liberated will that way is to be awakened. When we do not have liberated will and we are not awakened, we need to ask the Masters to create new circumstances for us.

New circumstances or changes in circumstances are created when there is enough merit and value on our part and the Divine Law agrees to it.

A sleeping human being without liberated will, can only create new circumstances when the Divine Law uses that human being as a karmic instrument.

To interfere with a person's free will is to interfere in the relationship that exists between the essence and its Inner Being. To interfere and harm that relationship is to attempt against the sacred, because indeed that relationship is something sacred. Such interference accrues definite karma.

The Being can not really trust until we become an esoteric entity, not a human one. Because an esoteric entity can act on behalf of the Being. A human entity simply forgets the Inner Being and attends to human interests alone.

We need to start by becomming a psychological entity where we then acquire responsibility and then truly we can guide others.

When we become a psychological entity - that is when we are integrating our psychology into a unity, we come very close to the causal world within ourselves. We can also then be trusted by the Masters.

When we die in ourselves we become a hope. The most wonderful thing that we can do is to give hope to others. Do all the good that we can do.

Humility is very important. It is balance and unity within the person. The arrogant person lacks balance and unity within themselves and also outside of themselves.

Humility is to make other people the centre of gravity.

The person who teaches can sacrifice by making others the main interest in their life. This is "to sacrifice our personal and egotisitcal will".

When a person who fights and fights to achieve and do their will is a person contrary to the principles of Gnosis and the Being. Because Gnosis teaches that the Being in us is the one whom decides, it is not our personal and egotistical will that decides.

The will that we need is the will to die within ourselves. Not the will to carry out our personal whims.

One of the key features and perhaps the first feature of awakening is the sacrifice of one's personal will.

To sacrifice one's personal will is the first condition to unify oneself within the Being.

Make decisions when we are conscious of them and process them in accordance with the parameters of the Being.

When we finish the Third Mountain when we have to obey more and we lose our will almost completely. We are in fact even less free than ever.

When we see a person who trusts the Being more than themselves we have found a person whom we can trust and who is one that earns the respect of others in esotericism.

The awakened ones do not plan, they wait for the Being to move and indicate within themselves when and how to move.

When we are starting the path we do not have a destiny yet but after years of work we create a line of destiny. We have to in this case when we are starting, be passive and allow our Inner Being to create our destiny. We must be passive and follow the flow of life and the indications of the Being will come through the flow of life.

Humility is to put our Being first. With humility we can allow our Divine Being to create our destiny and forge our path ahead for us.

With humility and a passive personality we can serve the Being in us. We can strengthen the presence of our Being in us by being passive and waiting and allowing the Being to lead us. We can never strengthen the Being in us if we are always taking action without the Being.

If we destroy our causal world with egotistical will we do not leave much will for Him to work with us.

The Intimate Christ in us is causal. We have to surrender our will to Him and He will take control. Give it over to Him and do His will by being humble, working in the death of our defects and waiting for His indications.

We need humility in the work. We need to surrender to the Christic presence in us. We are always rebellious and we need to redeem ourselves.

The Christ is the intercessor, the mediator in sacrifice and service when we truly ask for help to eliminate an ego He will come to help us and redeem us from the causal world from within ourselves.

We go up with the Christ to serve and we go down to sacrifice. We ask the Intimate Christ to help us to honour the Being ascending and to die in our defects for the Being by descending to work in the abyss.

He is always with us! Up or down when we have will! When we are willing.

Humility is to wait for the Being with consciousness and with joy.

It is not our path but the path of our Monad. We are not the main fearture He is. We could die and then He activiates another vehicle he has somewhere else.

Imperfections that Brought Forth Creation and the Three Necessary Stones - (4971)

Absolute Vomits

As master Samael tells us, this cosmic day was brought about by the Monads in the Absolute, who en masse wanted to be someone, or something more than what they were.

This desire master Samael said was enough for the Absolute to vomit those Monads, and thus the need for a new cosmic day was born.

Where did that desire to be someone or something more come from?

It came from previous cosmic days - from the so-called 'sins of the soul'.

Sins of the Soul

The 'sins of the soul' are certain imperfections that reside within the soul (essence). Note, soul is specifically mentioned and not spirit or Being. These imperfections were taken on by the soul through its various experiences of life in previous cosmic days.

What happened in the previous cosmic day is that the Monads achieved the self-realisation with these 'sins of the soul' remaining within their interior. For some reason these imperfections were not purged from the soul... perhaps because their consequences for the Absolute were underestimated?

These self-realised Monads later entered the Absolute with those imperfections deep within their nature. This later turned out to be something grave, as Master Samael explains, the Absolute came close to becoming fully contaminated and suffering dire alterations, even collapse...

The Absolute had to vomit these Monads in order to save itself.

To prevent this from continuing, the Purgatory planet was created whereby the Monads close to entering the Absolute would live and work to purge themselves of these 'sins of the soul'.

Now Days

Now days in this current cosmic day within you and me are these 'sins of the soul'.

These sins of the soul it has been said are the impurities that are dissolved in the fourth to seven stones. They are not "I's", nor residues of the "I" nor are they memories of the "I's" they are imperfections within the functioning of the soul and consciousness.

It is said that the first two philosophical stones are thrown because of these 'sins of the soul'.

It is said that it takes three stones to no longer fall. That with the acquisition of the third philosophers stone there are no more falls - only descends until the completion of the seventh stone.

The throwing of the first two stones it has been said are necessary to know the 'sins of the soul' and to be ready and mature enough to purge them and not fall because of them.

Our Ray is Our Line of Cosmic Education - (4970)

Our cosmic ray is our vocation in the cosmos.

If we were to study it profoundly and work at it so as to perfect it, we would be taken on a journey of  discovering and developing all the other virtues that are.

A cosmic ray is our viewing portal into the source of all the rays.

For us down here with the ego alive, what we have to do is to die in the egos we have, so that nothing  hinders us from being close to our ray and stops us from expressing it in a way free of conditioning (ego).

With the ego well and alive what we have is a very conditioned way of expressing our ray. When conditioned by duality (opposites) we express the opposite of our ray.

If we know our ray and we want to accelerate our mystical death we can try to express our ray as correctly as possible, then die in all the egos behind the errors that we make trying to do this.

If we for example we want to express our ray, which is the ray of the Law, in the most perfect way, our endeavour to do so, will take us to our consciousness, to our Inner Being and to developing the other virtues that are needed to make the expression of the Law perfect. Such as: love, mercy, rigour, balance, justice, humility, order, wisdom, are needed to express the ray of the Law perfectly.

This is why all the self-realised being possess all the virtues within themselves.

The virtues and rays are connected, and the development of one leads to the development of the others. Which is a gift of focus for us. If we focus on expressing our ray as intensely perfectly as possible we will be acquiring all the other virtues as well.

"By the perfection of one comes the perfection of all." So it has been said...

An Interesting Story About Not Understanding the Essence of the Work - (4963)

Introduction

I found the following story in the book: "A Million Thoughts" by Om Swami.

I find it really interesting, he really hits the nail on the head about how we can really miss the essence of the work on ourselves and waste our time miserably complaining about what isn't right.

When the essence of the work and the path is to die and liberate ourselves...

Excerpt

"A seeker approached a master to learn meditation from him. “There’s one condition,” the master said. “You are allowed to speak only four words every time you cross a milestone on the path.”

“I can do that.”

“Each milestone may take six years.”

The seeker swallowed and confirmed that the master indeed said six years and not six weeks or months.

“Yes, six years.”

He agreed to follow the instructions and began his meditation in the monastery.

At the first chance of speaking after six long years, the first four words he uttered in front of his master were, “Bed is too hard.”

The master said nothing. Another stretch of six years ensued, at the end of which the disciple unable to contain his annoyance said, “Food is always cold.” Once again the master did not reply. Another six years later, the disciple said, “I am leaving you!” “Yes, be gone,” the master said. “All I’ve seen you do in the last 18 years is complain, complain and complain.”

One would think that if the disciple had just one chance of speaking to his master after so long, the four words could or would have had some veneration, reverence or gratitude for his master. It may also seem a little too harsh on the part of his master to act in the manner he did. But the truth is that the master knew something which most of us remain unaware of: a talkative mind. In all probability, that’s all the disciple contemplated on for 18 years – he thought about what wasn’t right. Rather than understanding the essence of meditation, he complained in his mind for eighteen long years."

Humility is Knowing Our Place - Especially If we are Wrong - (4967)

Humility we all kind of know and assume is the antidote to pride. It is!

Justice is also another antidote to pride. This is because humility is justice.

Humility and justice both excel at giving the correct proportion to everything.

I always define humility for myself and others, as being able to know our place.

Humility will see when we are wrong. That is it will know our place which is that we have made a mistake and are in error.

The worst thing about pride is to defend something in us that is wrong such as a wrong attitude or a wrong stands before an event.

To be proud nearly always leads us into injustice because we leave our place (lose humility) and speak out of turn or do things not pertaining to our place.

If we are always in our place and are just in relation to everything above and below, pride in us dies.

End (4967).

Pride that is More Being Less - (4966)

When we work on pride we can create a degree false humility. Which underneath is pride.

We know that it is pride because by being 'less' we are actually being 'more'.

Obviously we sustain this being less to be more because there is some kind of benefit in it for us.

After a while we notice that this benefit comes at a cost of the respect for our own selves.

When we have this pride where being 'less means more' we will feel that to act in the middle normal way is difficult to do. This is becasue it won't result in the cuidos that this pride feeds on.

I'm Better than You! - (4965)

Master Samael writes that a sure sign of progress in our psychological and spiritual work is to not feel better or more important than anyone else.

To hear ourselves say or imply that means alarm bells. We are not going really very well.

Whenever I heard someone say or imply that out loud even if I didn’t want it to happen, they were involved in some kind of failure…

It always happens that we are proud before a fall…

End (4965).

Talk or Look Within? - (4962)

Look within!

A dichotomy appears at some point. To look within and find the truth within or talk our way over it…

It’s hard for pride within us to accept something’s wrong and that we need to look within.

Even if it is easier for our pride, to talk over an apparent defect or contradiction, this will still only bring more humiliation and therefore fear.

End (4962).

Just Let it Fail to Fall: No No No! - (4964)

We can take this attitude at times in certain situations, yet for some of us, this could be an attitude that is  present a bit too often.

Where does this attitude come from?

I would like to say that it comes from a spiritual, ethical or moral fall.

It is an attitude that more often than not appears when things are faltering...

It is really an attitude from the "I" of self-compassion. Let's see why.

The "I" of self-compassion feels compassion for ourselves. However, the compassion it feels misses an important component.

The important component that is missing is the inner force to rise up and fight for a change in our internal state that will put us onto a course towards a positive outcome.

The missing component - the inner force to rise up - is a key part of the true compassion that the Buddha spoke so highly of.

True compassion means to impart this force of 'rising up', to others and to ourselves.

So when we have that attitude of: 'just let it fail" it is the false compassion or the "I" of self-compassion as we would say in Gnosis, thinking and speaking within and through us.

In conclusion, when we hear ourselves saying "Ah let if fail", counteract it with that inner force to rise up within ourselves and fight to change our internal state.

When our internal states changes within us to one of "now let's get up" we will care about what is failing and we will correct that!

That inner force to fight for a change in our internal state is a divine force that comes from our Atman - the warrior within us that is aligned with the forces of Mars, as Master Samael affirms.

Special Personal Keys Post: 1 - Concentration - (4960)

I think this happens to everyone. We practice and we get some kind of results - a good start but a long way to go yet. We keep trying and we notice that something is not quite working out. There's some kind of block or obstacle that is difficult to surpass.

We observe that difficulty and we get a feeling for what is the matter but we can't articulate it. We look for help but nowhere do we find any advice to help and no one really knows or gets what we are talking about. Then one day we stumble upon something and its just one parpargraph or two that explains it all for us and with that new bit of information or advice we begin to shift that block.

This post is more for my records than anything else, though it may be interesting for you as well.

This paragraph has really helped me with concentration. It has made a really big difference.

The Veil Significance and Meaning - (4958)

Introduction

There is a lot of esoteric meaning behind the veil.

The word veil reminds us of the "bridal veil", the "veil of the mysteries" and the "veil of Isis".

The veil is something that we see in esotericism that pertains to the Divine Feminine.

In terms of the bridal veil it is something that belongs to the mysteries of sex.

It is a symbol of the Divine Mother, with emphasis on Divine. In general terms it signifies that the woman wearing it is emulating the Divine Mother.

From very ancient times where the wedding ceremony was a pact to enter into and live the mysteries of sex, the bride would wear a veil to signify Her virtue. That She is like the Divine Mother" "whose veil no mortal has lifted...".

The archaic teachings tell us that the veil of the Divine Mother (Isis) is lifted by those who are worthy to receive Her mysteries which are the mysteries of nature and creation.

The Bride wearing her veil signifies in terms of the mysteries of sex that her husband to be has not yet beheld her nature in its full naked beauty and only after the pact to live sacred sexuality is made will she allow her veil to be lifted and her mystery beheld.

We can conclude from the above explanation that the bridal veil originally signified the state of virgin.

Mysteries of Sex

For the mysteries of sex, to be a virgin is a power. People now days do not consider it a power and that is because they do not see it from the esoteric point of view of sexual magic. Let's briefly see why it is a power from the point of view of sexual magic.

1.) The state of virgin presents a vessel that is clear without obstacle to be dedicated solely to the practice of the sexual mysteries. There is nothing needing to be undone, only the need to form.

2.) The state of virgin is a condition where in this life there are no sexual links that can karmically link the new husband to the karma created with previous partners.

3.) The state of virgin creates a powerful link with the new husband that is not easily broken. The first link is always special, and the links afterwards are less and less special to the point, by entropy, of all of them become equal...

In an effort to see both sides of everything, the state of virgin is one of less experience, and this can have disadvantages...  Though with the proper methodology that 'lost ground' can be covered.

Now days because very few men and women possess the state of virgin the veil almost has the opposite significance and meaning to its original and real meaning. Now days a veil means the absence of 'that virtue' and there will be no practice of the sexual mysteries.

In the best of cases it is just a physical adornment to be used to respect the traditions of old, yet why it is to be used is greatly unknown.

The mysteries of sex have been long lost to public understanding and that loss has included the loss of the meaning and significance of the veil of the Divine Feminine.

The veil only really finds now its significance in the esoteric circle of practice and people who know and respect its meaning.

It is said in the esoteric teachings, that the Divine Mother of anyone of us remains a virgin and so never loses her veil. There is the Immaculate conception where the Intimate Christ is conceived via the immaculate conception.

End (4958).

Compartmentalise Problems - (4959)

We have to learn how to solve problems, and while a problem is being solved we have to learn how to compartmentalise them.

By that I mean to give them a time and a space to solve them and not let them permeate all the areas of our life.

Our troubles begin when we allow an unsolved problem to become a worry that then invades every moment of our life.

When that happens we begin to get 'dragged down'...

If being 'dragged down' persists, we become depressed as the feelings of hopelessness set in, or either we become increasingly frustrated and angry, which is no good for others, and no good for our health.

If we can, as Gnosis says, forget our problems so as to solve them, we are going to be pretty ok.

Gnosis says to forget problems is the way, in the sense of our mind forgetting them and not thinking anymore about them. This is because thinking about them does not help to solve them.

Gnosis says that while we have forgotten a problem our consciousness can reveal to us a solution.

While we are waiting for our consciousness to reveal a solution we need to compartmentalise our problems. Do not bring them into every moment and do not bring them into your marriage, even if the problem concerns your marriage, do not bring them to work, nor to visits with to friends, nor to sleep at night, nor to conversations and especially not to our overall background as our state of well-being will be affected...

Arcanum 2 Notes - (4953)

What this Arcanum Tells Us

This arcanum refers to the Cosmic Mother - that is to say, to the Eternal Universal Divine Feminine Principle. Arcanum 3 on the other hand refers to the individual Divine Mother, which is the Divine Eternal Feminine Principle of our particular cosmos, or from the point of view of the Absolute - the divine eternal feminine principle of the Microcosmos.

Master Samael describes the symbols of this card very well. Though all that I would like to say is that the symbols present in this arcanum reveal a lot about the qualities of the Divine Eternal Feminine.

Here below I have listed the symbols which highlight the qualities of the Divine Feminine.

Seated Priestess:

The receptive and passive nature of the Divine feminine. Contrasted with the standing active nature of the magician of Arcanum number 1.

Open Book:

The quality of wisdom, which is a feminine quality. Wisdom itself is inert, it is not about doing, it is about knowing. It must be combined with force or love. Just how the Divine Feminine to create, requires a complement - the Divine Masculine.

Bare Breasts:

Nourishing. The left breast relates to the moon, indicating the lunar nature of the Divine Feminine. It is said that the right breast relates to the Milky Way Galaxy.

Veil:

The quality of mystery and of the occult. Also the duality of the known and the unknown.

Ankh:

The quality of sexuality. The crossing of the two polarities in order to create.

Columns Black and White:

Duality, the two forces of the cosmos. Involution and Evolution. Good and Evil. Activity and repose.

From the card we can gleam that the Divine Feminine is the house that holds the mysteries and wisdom of nature, creation and the path. We are told that the path unfolds within the Divine Mother, with each step on the path being a step further into the temple of the Divine Mother.

It has to be this way, as the Cosmic Divine Mother was the one that partook in the creation of all things and everything created is in fact her energy condensed into material form.

She is the Womb of the Absolute and the bosom of creation, meaning all the mysteries of the Absolute are present and latent within her. Her bosom nourishes creation and to enter into the Divine Mother is the same as to enter a temple. That is why the initiations and the path itself, is something sexual.

The Intimate Christ resurrected and made immortal, is ready to receive all the mysteries, and so lifts the veil of Isis to learn the mysteries of nature, creation and the Inner Being.

What the Axiom Tells Us

"The wind and the waves favour he knows how to navigate."

The wind and the waves are our life circumstances. In other words, the wind and the waves are the psychology of the people that are in the circumstances of our life. The psychology of the people in the company that we work for, the psychology of the people in our family, the psychology of the people in our Gnostic group etc.

If we know how to transform impressions and to take the difficulties which the circumstances and people in these environments present to us, with the work on ourselves, we can navigate those waters and take benefit.

Before we can do that though, we must know the wind and the waves, know how to sail and how to navigate. That is, we need to know the impressions being offered and know that we have the capacity to deal with them and know how to deal with them to such an extent that our inner work is strengthened, not weakened.

Basically it means to be skillful, to know how to make things of benefit to your inner work, and when to leave things behind when they no longer can benefit your inner work.

What to Expect Under this Influence

Under the influence of this card duality will be ever present. We may be caught between two areas...

The influence will be to look at both sides and come to balance by using the three - the third solution. The third solution is something new, something that is not either side but a solution where something is taken or learnt from both sides.

If we resist looking at both sides, the situation can become difficult and perhaps painful for us. Often due to duality, conflicts arise. In the worst of cases, this influence can mean conflict or division.

There will be the known and the unknown, with the unknown being of more concern. So then there will be the need to peer into the unknown somehow. The suggestion of this influence is to put your intuition to work, to intuit something about the unknown.

The main urgency under the influence of this card will be to unify the duality that we find ourselves in.

The more wisely we solve the duality which is often a source of conflict and unhappiness the better things will turn out. There is freedom with love, and freedom with hatred, and freedom in secret. Freedom in love is good, for the path freedom in secret is best, where duality is solved by the work on ourselves bringing about inner unity.

The first port of call to unity is to align the five centres of our human machine.

Notes

The Divine Feminine is the duality but as a unity. She is one but by virtue of Her innate quality expresses duality, presents duality and functions with it.

The mother is perfect duality as unity. She is one being - a unity but when She is pregnant, there are two beings in one. She the Divine Feminine has the unique power to unite two into one.

It is said that the woman came from Adam and Adam in fact was actually the Divine Androgyny, that is containing both sexes in one. So the woman it was said was the first offshoot of Adam so She contains elements of both within Her.

We can see this so easily that mothers can perform the role of both mother and father much more easily than a man can. That is because She has elements of both within Her nature. Certainly, the Feminine is nothing 'weak' at all. How strong is the feminine to withstand childbirth and all the ordeal of raising a child and attending to the all the needs of a home.

She is the central hub of a home. If She leaves the karma is greater because without Her the home collapses, but without the Father the home can still function. She indeed has special qualities...

The Cosmic mother is infinite space and primordial matter. The primordial matter is more of a cosmic energy really which condenses into matter.

She is also the house of the Spirit. Without her creation it would not be possible and the Spirit would not become known. It is through the Mother that the Spirit can come to know itself. The spirit is the masculine.

She being one then becomes two in the function of mother as She then houses the spirit that fecundated her.

In creation She becomes two, one is her primordial energy and two is the spirit that has fecundated her. Creation is both spirit and matter - duality.

Sexuality or Alchemy is the realm of the Divine Mother as the two polarities come from Her. She in fact polarizes herself as Kundalini or Kundabuffer to make us to ascend or descend.

The cosmic Mother house the Spirit, making the duality united in one. That is our work in life to know the two and then go back to the one. This is done through the Divine Mother.

The path is via the Divine Mother as Kundalini, it is She that takes us upwards and unites us step by step to the Spirit. It is also Her that dissolves the psychological aggregates that we have thus uniting our essence eventually into one.

The creations of the Divine Mother are based in two. If we examine our body we will see dual symmetry everywhere. Two eyes, two hemispheres, two nostrils, two lungs, two arms, two legs, two hands, two kidneys and so on.

Below are some notes to help us to work with duality to find the one, the unity the non-dual.

Working with Duality Notes

The good in the bad and the bad in the good. We need to know the good in the bad and the bad in the good before we can reach stable consciousness of unity in any area.

We need to be able to see both sides always. To not see both sides equals error and conflict which brings difficulty and suffering.

We can not allow ourselves to be stuck in one side. We must see both sides to come to unity. The unity is the balance, the stability, the third solution and the consciousness.

We walk the path on two legs. Not on one leg. Meaning we learn from both sides of duality and we need the opposites functioning within us in balance.

We must learn from the good and from the bad. That is to learn from the mistakes and triumphs of others. To learn what not to do and to learn what to do. The unity sees that everyone is a teacher.

We must know that the left hand of God deals us out pain, so as to bring us back to Him.

The right hand of God shows us how to keep close to Him.

Every virtue needs duality to apply it correctly.

This applies to love, patience, tolerance, justice, wisdom and all of the virtues. Let's see, to apply justice we need rigour and mercy, to apply wisdom we need love and force, to apply love we need kindness and remedy, to apply patience we need hope and endurance, to apply tolerance we need openness and strength etc. etc.

We must take into account both sides of everything, especially the matters that we have at hand. Which means both points of view, both interests, the needs of both etc. etc. When we do this is, it is an act of love - tender like motherly love.

We have to take into account our own duality to awaken. If we our knowledge of awareness is stuck in one side of our duality we can not awaken or expand our awakening.

Duality is also the law of polarities. So much can be said about the masculine and feminine polarities within us...

We need to balance correctly the polarities that are within us and know how to bring the correct polarity out in a given situation...

The wise combination of the two polarities creates something. Just like how will and imagination creates, one pole along can not create...

We learn also not to swing from one polarity to the other as a means of compensation or correction...

Karma works in duality...

This card represents the known and unknown - the mystery. Knowledge of the mysteries solves the duality. In fact the mysteries are the solutions of duality.

Our polarities are unbalanced within us. We have  to know when to bring forward the correct polarity to  be combined correctly so as to produce a positive outcome.

We must always seek to transcend duality. The aim of duality is not to have us divided or in conflict, it is there to show us the two sides and motivate us to find the unity of the two.

The origin of all evil is duality.

The origin of all suffering is duality.

Breathing to Relax the Three Brains - (4957)

Relaxing the three brains is very critical to align the three brains within every event of our life.

Using the breath to relax our three brains is highly effective! Long out breaths truly relax the instinctive and emotional centres.

When these two centers are relaxed relaxing the others is easy.

With our three brains aligned we can truly concentrate and be an aligned unity with what we are doing in any given moment.

To get the best and give the best, we have to pray, meditate, listen, work and speak etc. with all of our brains - that is with our three brains.

Have a look at this diagram below for information about how our breath can help.

Forgive those in Positions - (4956)

It happens at some point in our life that we resent a particular person for being in a certain position...

Of course there will be innumerable reasons why we resent them. But they don't really matter!

Those reasons are not there to be listened to by anyone. They are really the nonsense of our mind locked in time and space that are there to be overcome and dissolved.

Outside of time and space there are no reasons worthy of holding onto resentment.

Reasons of: unfair, right, wrong, ego, personality... all crumble when seen outside of time and space.

Try it for yourself, see the reasons outside of this time and space...

We just really need to bring our forgiveness, and forgive the person for being there above us or by the side or underneath or wherever.

Decisions With and Without Karmic Programming - (4954)

Choice by Karmic Programming

When we are karmically programmed we feel strongly compelled and drawn to follow a certain decision. Even when there is a part of us that knows that there are other options which may be better...

When we take the side of what we are irresistibly compelled to, we feel convinced that we are the one making that decision with full freedom of choice.

We only really know that we decided based upon karmic programming until much after the decision has been taken.

It is usually upon reflection of the series of cause and effect that we come to know that it was programmed to be that way, and we just had to take that decision.

The other way we know that we were karmically programmed is when because of that decision we end up suffering. The clue is that we never made that decision to suffer yet precisely because of that decision we fell into a very karmic spate of difficult circumstances with all its sufferings.

Being karmically programmed to make a decision is in some ways easier. As the decision was already made for us and the Divine Law gives us the force to make it, follow through with it and suffer it.

Choice Free of Karmic Programming

A free decision - is one without karmic programming, where there is no impelling force to push us towards a particular choice. What is present is a sense of blankness or neutrality which automatically makes a person to look to find the best possible solution or choice.

The consciousness is neutral is happy in so many directions - which at first makes it confusing.

What is present instead of the karmically programmed mysterious impelling force, is the consciousness and various other factors such as: reference points (work, path and Being), esoteric principles and in general all that which must be taken into account while making a decision, such as commitments, other people, finance, current state of affairs in society etc.

Because there is no karma pushing a person either way, the consciousness must decide and opt for the most intelligent option.

There is only one thing that weighs down on a soul's freedom of choice. And that is responsibility. With such choices, it is the consciousness that must accept with responsibility the consequences of a decision taken wrongly.

We have been taught that with consciousness comes greater responsibility and therefore a greater intensity of consequences.

The Divine Law does not administer karma upon any "I" within us. The Divine Law administers karma upon the essence and the Inner Being, because it is the essence and the Inner Being that is the responsible one in all occasions.

Even if an "I" within us makes a wrong decision the whole of us, especially our essence, suffers the consequences. There is no escape for the essence when responsibility is relinquished.

Decisions without programming take a longer time to arrive at because there are much more real and viable possibilities to work through.

Under karmic programming there is little to no responsibility because one is not choosing, one's own karma has already chosen and one only partially knows what one is doing, because karma blinds our peripheral vision...

In the cases where there is no karmic programming the Inner Being will be with us either way...

Don't subject oneself to pressure and in some cases the will of the Inner Being may be overlooked once, twice, several times, however if one gives oneself time the will of the Inner of the Being, that which has depth of heart in us, will surface again and again in many subtle ways.

So speaks the voice of silence within our interior silence...

Why Infra-Sexuality has so Many Deviations - (4952)

The answer is by means of pure mirror like reflection.

Sexuality is a true super value that contains many other values within it. All those values work intelligently together to create the overall value of sexuality.

All the various deviations of infra-sexuality, are the inverted expressions of those values that make up the super value of sexuality.

Those values after being inverted, branch off and typically through amplification become a kind of lifestyle of genre on their own.

Later on, in a subsequent post I will give examples.

What First to Awaken to? - (4951)

The first thing in the universal order of things to awaken to, is our darkness.

Awakening to our darkness, brings light into our darkness, converting darkness into light.

Awakening is light shone onto our reality.

To awaken to our own darkness first, as our number one priority creates as much light as we can as quickly as we can.

End (4951).

Resentment and Forgiveness - (4981)

What's the remedy to resentment? The answer is forgiveness.

What's the remedy to hatred? The answer is love, but a love that has its start in forgiveness.

Sometimes we can forget about the existence of forgiveness...

Well we have to tell ourselves sometimes that it does exist and it is needed...

What is the biggest problem we face with forgiveness? It is that we feel we can't forgive...

Someone once said that we CAN forgive. We don't really have the right to not forgive! There's nothing that we can't forgive another person for. Because we have done the same or worse if we can remember...

At the core of resentment is a belief. We must search to find that belief. It is a belief of having been wronged or hurt. All of our resentment stems from that belief. If we can just find that belief we are on our way to changing things within us.

Our capacity to not forgive has to alarm us. To feel our cold heart is very alarming, especially while we are a student of spiritual studies.

No doubt forgiveness heals. It is a healer that we have available to us, within ourselves close by just waiting for us... We just have to appeal to it within ourselves.

Forgiveness comes from our Intimate Christ. It isn't a waste of time to work with now and then with the powers of the Intimate Christ, is it?.

Sometimes we can't see any further or deeper because we can't forgive. Resentment and hatred blind us... So many solutions, angles and perspectives we are blind to because of resentment...

In more severe cases when resentment reaches a peak in intensity, we have to even forgive those people for being in our life...

To forgive those for being in our life, is to forgive ourselves, as it is was ourselves at some point in the past that brought those others into our life...

Ray of Life Notes - (4949)

Introduction

This post lists some points in note form about the ray of life. Included are general notes that apply to all rays.

Notes

There are human beings that belong to this ray. No doubt we all know a bit about this ray, as we all have and live life and no doubt we can all benefit from the forces and wisdom of this ray.

General

Each ray has a function in creation.

Within 'the function' are many smaller functions. These smaller functions represent a branch of a ray.

The functions of each ray is fulfilled by Divine intelligence - that is by the Monads of human beings and Divine Beings who don't have physical vehicles.

Each ray works with other rays.

The other rays that a given ray works with reveal more about its function. This is a point worthy to reflect upon.

That fact that many rays work together shows us the connectedness of all rays to make up the whole. It also shows the different affinities that exist in creation and amongst human beings.

There does exist the affinity among human beings based on the ray of their Inner Being.

Each ray seeks and uses the consciousness.

Each ray in creation is found to have a positive and a negative side.

The negative side is the inverse polarity of the positive side. For example, wisdom and ignorance, force and weakness, justice and injustice, objective and subjective art, etc.

Each ray can be used to serve matter or the spirit.

Each ray must be sublimated and balanced inside each person.

Each ray is a distribution of the qualities of the Absolute put into action in creation.

Each ray differs from others by containing more of certain values or qualities than others.

All the rays have within them the other rays.

We must make the ray of our Inner Being into an avenue of service for humanity.

Each ray seeks and uses the consciousness.

The consciousness is what each ray has in common. No ray can function without the consciousness.

As above so below. As there are cosmic functions these functions are reflected in human life in the different professions that are necessary to solve the various problems of life and creation.

When we study each ray profoundly we almost find a reflection of the cosmos. Each ray comes from the Absolute and through each ray we get a glance into the vastness of the Absolute.

Particular

The ray of life pertains to the Moon. Meaning it has a strong relation to life on Earth.

It is like it is the first ray as all the other rays begin to work once the ray of life has fulfilled its function which is primarily to bring the essence to life in creation.

Once we have life we need medicine to heal, the law to rule, science to learn and discover, art to express and politics to order and direct and force to protect.

The ray of life has as a general function is to bring the spirit into creation in other words to bring the spirit to life.

The essence enters the baby at the moment the baby is born and inhales for the first time. The angel of life assist in making this entrance and connection possible.

The angels of life connect the silver chord of the body to the essence and assist in making the heart beat and the brain to light up - thus breathing the life that the new essence brings into the body of the new born baby.

Also the ray of life is to guide the essence or spirit in life. Perhaps the guru devas which guide and watch over the evolution of all the essences in the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms belong to a branch of the ray of life.

Associated with conception, birth, incarnation, return, recurrence and living. It is related to death, as death is its twin sister. It is also related to destiny, the processes of gestation and accumulation in life.

The main function of the angels of life is to connect the essence to a new physical body. Meaning they specialise in connecting the silver cord, the cord of life and prana to the essence and physical body.

Some keywords for the ray of life are: vitality, vital body, aura, prana, silver chord, flow of life, attention, consciousness, water, fire, creation, ray of creation, creative energy, sex and sexuality, conception, development etc.

Positive Side: the positive tendencies of this ray are the search for the awe and transcendental side of life, love of nature, respect for life, profound joy for new life - birth, perception of the mysteries of life, natural inherit knowledge of knowing and understanding what life is about.

Negative Side: the negative tendencies of this ray are: selfishness, superficialities of life, mechanical life, vain enjoyment of life, several new beginnings, unstable, constant movement etc.

Pertains to beginning and to maintaining. To healing, to the word and to the creative energy. To music and to joy.

It makes sense too that the ray of life is related to the ray of Kundalini. The kundalini brings spiritual life once again to the person. The kundalini is an aspect of the Divine Mother and the Divine Mother is one who gives life.

The Kundalini creates the bodies - in other words it is the element that creates our inner cosmos - that is our inner life.

The ray of life is related to life and life is consciousness and energy in constant flow. As a strong point those who belong to the ray of life will always seek energy and consciousness and have a natural understanding of each.

Works with death, medicine, law, wisdom to name a few... Please take your liberty of reflection to add more.

The regent of this ray is the Divine Being classically known as archangel Gabriel.

Sublimated within us, this ray reveals to us the conscious and intelligent way to live. The art of living is this ray sublimated.

To seek the vertical in life is the conscious expression of this ray, and it is also the point of balance of this ray in relation to the Being within us. To reiterate, when this ray is used to develop the vertical line of life within a person it finds its balance within the person in relation to the Inner Being.

This ray has great potential to be of service to the awakening and development of the consciousness. As what is life if we are not aware of it.

A ray that expresses the solutions to the problems of life. A ray that is in general naturally optimistic and positive.

A ray that profoundly loves creation, nature and the life of all creatures. A ray that of course respects life and yearns to know the mysteries of life.

A ray that works well with death as its main function is to work through the course of life to be prepared for the most sublime and transcendental moment of life - which is death.

A ray that also works well with astrology, as astrology is very much the study of life.

It makes sense that those of this ray would have an affinity with the workings of the Zodiac and astrology. As master Samael said, in ancient Egypt by the study of the stars the vocation of a newborn child could be told. There is a direct relationship between the stars and life and it follows that those of this ray would innately appreciate the value of the stars.

What is most important in life: is meaning, identity, values and points of reference. Without these life can't really be lived. Depending on what meaning, what identity, values and reference points we chose is how we are going to live life.

Some of the mysteries of life are the different stages of life expressed so beautifully the metallic planets of alchemy.

So the ray of life has a lot to do with the above four important points and it makes sense that the people of the ray of life would naturally know the importance of these points and would search for the deeper side of them or either the opposite - be opposed and select the most superficial or strangest versions of these points.

Third Solution is Win-Win - (4950)

The spirit of the third solution is win-win.

It is not I win and you lose or you win and I lose.

We need the third solution when we are faced with two needed elements.

That is, when those two elements are for example a part of the work or a part of our life.

A third solution - that is the one in which both parties benefit and co-operate towards a positive state of being and outcome, can be permanent or it can be temporary for it to later be renovated or surpassed or no longer needed.

When we are in our Abyss we Only Talk about Ourselves - (4969)

Just a little check point. When we are in our own abyss we don't stop talking about ourselves.

Hearing this we can snap out of it and leave our abyss for a while.

The Masters are Not Perfect, Neither are We... - (4968)

Sometimes we think that the masters are perfect. I remember Master Samael saying that the one who is perfect is the Real Being. The physical vehicle is far from that.

Whoever you talk to about a master will give their account of their good and bad points.

After all they are human beings that had the ego and met many people while they still had the ego alive.

We shouldn't fanatically defend them nor should we get disappointed nor attack them. They had their egos just as we have and we are certainly not saints.

"Every saint had a past and every sinner has a future." Oscar Wilde once wrote.

Nothing is ever perfect, no human being, no organization, no computer no association no government, no policy, no law nor no rule...is fully perfect.

End (4968).

Each Group has Abundance and Lack and What that Means - (4948)

Every Gnostic group has an abundance of some value and at the same time a lack of some value...

For the value that is abundant, it is to be valued, assimilated and made as conscious as possible.

For the value that is lacking, it is up to each individual in the group to 'develop' that value for themselves  through one's own efforts, thereby making that value as conscious as possible.

For example, in one group there may be light in abundance but little consistency in following a plan of of applying the light, in the next group there maybe a lack of light but a good level of discipline.

In the end with the values that are abundant and those that are lacking we have to do the same work - make those values as conscious as possible within us.

It maybe designed by a higher intelligence that way, that certain values are abundant and certain values are lacking...

This is because there are values in our particular case that we must generate and make conscious, and there are some which can we assimilate and make conscious that way.

If you are a student what are those two types of values? If you are a teacher what are those two types of values in the group you teach to?

When Instinct Comes to Solve - (4947)

Introduction

This post is a little bit about the instinctive centre and the conditions in which it is most active.

Known Already

We know that the centres of our human machine work as follows: Intellect (thinking) then Emotion (feeling) then Movement (acting, speaking etc.). Where is the instinctive centre in this flow?

An Observable Function

Here below is an explanation of where the instinctive centre comes into the flow mentioned above.

When we have a difficult situation to solve and after numerous attempts and many efforts of the intellect, emotion and action, there is still no solution or overall improvement, the instinctive centre then comes to help.

The point of this post is that one of the instinctive centre's functions is to come to the aid of the other centres when they can not relieve or solve a certain situation that is ill affecting our state of well-being.

The instinctive centre gives the other centres a certain amount of time before it appears. Interesting to see how the centres co-operate via a certain natural order and timing.

It is also interesting to note that the solution of the instinctive centre ends indecision, procrastination and vagueness. It is always very definite in nature.

A common example is that one may feel nervous and if the efforts of the intellect, emotion and action can not displace the nervous state in a certain time frame, the instinctive centre begins to do it, by either running, fidgeting, excessive talking, toilet, vomiting, in other words by overwhelmingly activating some of the instinctive functions of the body.

Activities such as drinking alcohol excessively, taking drugs, indulging in sexual activity for reasons other than transmutation are solutions to stressful circumstances that come from the heavy instinctive side of the egos of alcohol, drugs (partying) and lust.

Often violence appears as an instinctive solution to a severe injustice that ill-affects ourselves and others when that injustice has persisted beyond all attempts to peacefully solve it.

Three Modes of Instinctive Action

Going back to the example above, the instinctive centre solves the increasing and sustained unease in the human machine by resorting to roughly the methods given below.

1.) Taking us out of the stressful circumstances.

2.) Making us to fight or protest, complain, argue to remove the elements that are creating the stress.

3.) Shutting us down, by provoking intense spells of drowsiness or fainting.

4.) Trying all of the above in roughly the order given above.

5.) Something very uniquely intelligent, which could range from a very intelligent (astute) reason which serves one of the above methods, such as a very good excuse to leave the event. It could also be something uniquely intelligently positive, that is a new solution that is good for all involved.

In the last method the instinctive centre employs the help of the other centres - mostly the intellect to think up a crafty excuse, and in the best case the consciousness listens to the urgent message of the instinctive centre and produces a win-win situation for all involved.

Let's remember that the most intelligent of all the centres is the instinctive centre.

Summary

In summary, one of the many functions of the instinctive centre is solve persistent stressful situations when the efforts of the other centres fail. The way the instinctive centre solves stressful situations is via these three basic ways:

1.) Flight or Fight

2.) Shutting Down

3.) Instinctive Intelligence

Sometimes these ways permanently solve the situation other times they are only temporary relievers of stress.

Apocalypse is for the Ego not the Consciousness - (4946)

As you do with each retreat, you talk to other people studying Gnosis and you learn from them. Really each person who has studied Gnosis for some time, has valuable conscious experience with the teachings to share...

While talking to someone, the topic of the 'end of times' came up and among the many impactful reflections that this someone shared, the following statement stood out:

"the apocalypse is for the ego not the consciousness"

We are very worried about the end of times or the external apocalypse. We don't know that we also live an internal apocalypse when we work on ourselves...

If we understand and come to terms with our own internal apocalypse the external end of times will be much easier to cope with.

Anyway, the point was that the apocalypses both internal and external is really for the ego. It is a process to break down the ego, its creations and structures, both in the world and inside of ourselves.

The apocalypse is for the consciousness to live on in greater freedom and expression.

So really it is the ego outside and inside that is worried about the apocalypse, the consciousness inside of us is not so concerned, it may well be very understanding of and appreciative of it...

Things are Not Linear & Why we Give Up - (4945)

Things in the work and in the path are not linear. Meaning progress does not follow an upward sloping line.

Things are more like a spiral with many zig-zags along the way.

Time is round and karma is also round.

To be a bit cryptic: we wash and wash, repeating the same washing, cleaning more and more with each cycle...

One of the reasons why we give up in small or big ways is because we believe our progress and the progress of things is linear.

When it seems that we are going backwards or are revisiting a previous problem or a previously experienced negative state we think we are going nowhere...

We then get disheartened and give up, but according to the spiral, we may well be closer to the progress we were hoping for than it seems.

In conclusion, don't give up because our apparent progress is not obeying some thought up straight line.

End (4945).
