Don't worry all of us who are adults (no matter who we are) have along the way received very negative almost shocking feedback about our person or our performance in some area.
We are not alone if we have received such feedback. We all more or less have gotten over it and have improved because of it. The trick is to know how to not focus on the shocking side of it but focus on the positive actions that come as a result of it. If we do that the shocking part will be taken care of, so we don't have to worry about it. We really have to concern ourselves with the new actions to take.
