Symbol of the Dragon - (2266)

Typhon and the Sexual Force

The symbol of the dragon nearly has it all.

The dragon is a symbol and it was also something real. Master Samael said that in the times of Atlantis and Lemuria there were actual creatures very much like the dragons that appear in our myths and legends.

Wings and Tail

The dragon has wings, so that it can fly to the heavens and to the spirit. The dragon has a snake like tail pointing downwards to the infernos. Meaning it can take us down there too.

In short the dragon has knowledge of both the heavens and the infernos and can take us to both depending on us. Which is what the sexual force in the human being does and also what the Typhon in us does as well.

Wise and Old

The dragon is always portrayed to be immeasurably wise and old. Plus being very magical. This reminds us so closely of the ‘Devil’ or our psychological trainer. Where it possesses all the wisdom of cause and effect, contrasted duality, etc. from witnessing all of our errors over the whole time that we have been in creation, in this cosmic day and in previous cosmic days.

It is also said that when we defeat our inner psychological trainer or Lucifer He confers powers and faculties upon us. Making Him the bearer of such things, just as the dragon is said to be the bearer of mystery and magic.

Fire

The dragon harnesses fire, meaning that it manages the divine fire, linking it to the sexual force. The Typhon indeed has control over our inner fire or sexual force. It can supply it and remove it at will by command of our inner Father dwelling in secret within us.

Conclusion

The dragon is such a good symbol for the Typhon Baphomet or that part of ourselves that is the psychological trainer. It captures its attributes all in one creature so beautifully.

It also symbolises quite well the sexual force within the human being.

End (2266).
