If we are closed to a certain possibility of development
within us, what happens is that as we work we liberate forces and it is natural
that those forces want to rise within us.
As they rise they then encounter a block and if that block
is stronger than them they bounce back and descend downwards finding what?
Various inferior elements (egos) that then receive a boost that does a
tremendous disservice.
For example, as we bit by bit love more and more our inner
Being, this love begins to rise in us wanting to take us higher within ourselves
to find more and more of what itself in what it loves, but then it encounters a
block of some type (skepticism or distrust or resentment) and if that block is
too strong that love reflects or bounces back and various inferior elements (related
to the opposite of love – resentment, distrust, etc.) all of a sudden rise with
surprisingly increased force.
