To a large degree this is very true. Take control of one's own imagination one can control the many processes of lust in the mind and emotion. This is because most of lust's processes involve the use of imagination as do the processes of fear.
The more one controls their imagination the more aware one can become too. As it is always usually the imagination that takes one away from reality and the moment.
