The ego makes you to feel: “there is only dryness and
unhappiness without me”.
Whatever the ego is if it uses this line, it is wrong. Only
the consciousness in us can bring happiness. How can the ego bring happiness? When
that is not its nature? It may bring it for a short while but then the rest is
lament and desire.
