Inner Castle - (4389)

We really need something like an inner castle...

There is a law called: "The Law of Interior Spaces".

An inner castle is my way of saying that we need some inner space that is has been put aside, is always there and remains free.

To work on ourselves we need to some free space within ourselves no matter what is going on.

When that free space collapses inside of ourselves we can't do too much but become very identified and lose some or all control of our work and often ourselves or our life for a while.

We have to create it and then guard it just like a castle with its moat.

We need some area of peace within us to do some work. In that area of peace we can keep outside of our abyss and be able to see things with some kind of sanity or normality.

As soon as you decide to go inside in the difficult moments you have access to it. Just staying there is hard bit. What helps us to stay there is the emotion of hope.

Trust in how the castle works helps us to go there too. Trusting that going to the inner castle will help - really helps us to stay.

Faith in the castle is the strength to maintain ourselves there. Having faith in the castle is having strength in the abilities of our consciousness to help us.

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation. The topic of religion and God is a constant theme in the movie. It is very violent though, matching it frankly, quite awful to watch.
